Diskrit: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Matematika
Jurnal ini memuat berbagai artikel ilmiah yang berfokus pada bidang pendidikan matematika. Ruang lingkup jurnal mencakup hasil kajian konseptual maupun hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan matematika. Secara lebih khusus, ruang lingkup jurnal ini meliputi pembelajaran matematika dan teknologi pembelajaran. Pada bidang pembelajaran matematika, jurnal ini menerima artikel yang membahas strategi, model, pendekatan, media, evaluasi, serta inovasi dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika. Sementara itu, pada bidang pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran matematika, seperti penggunaan media digital, aplikasi pembelajaran, e-learning, serta perkembangan teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan interaktivitas pembelajaran.

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya keefektifan model pembelajaran Scramble ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai T.A 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan design penelitian two group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Adapun sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 2 kelas (kelas VIII-4 dan kelas VIII-5). Pada kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberikan pengajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori dan kelas VIII-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan pengajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Scramble. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian tersebut di tentukan dari sekolah (purposive sampling). Sebelum diberikan pengajaran, terlebih dahulu diberikan pretest kepada tiap– tiap kelas dengan rata – rata nilai eksperimen 18,20 dan kelas kontrol 18,73. Kemudian setelah diberi pengajaran dengan masing – masing pembelajaran, tiap – tiap kelas diberikan posttest dengan nilai yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,00 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 66,40. Sehingga diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis dari penelitian ini yaitu maka diterima dengan demikian maka terdapat keefektifan yang signifikan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Scramble ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa Di SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai.Kata kunci : Scramble, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis, SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of developing independent curriculum-based module teaching materials using the Scaffolding model in terms of the ability to understand mathematical concept of students at SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran in 2022/2023 Academic Year. Learning content, learning methods, interpretation, and assessment techniques arranged in a systematic and riveting manner to achieve the expected indicator of succes. The teacher developed teaching modules before carrying out learning in the classroom. One of the functions of the teaching module is to reduce the teacher’s burden and is in accordance with the Scaffolding learning method where the teacher only present learning conten that the teacher can have a lot of time to be a tutor and continue to help student in the learning process. This type of research is development oriented ( Research and Development) and uses the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The results of student’s mathematical concept understanding tests in VIIth-1 class with a total of 30 students and KKM of 60 obtained 28 students who’s (completed (≥60) and 2 student’s who did not complete (≤60) and obtained classical completeness (percentage) 93% with the category very effective to be developed in terms of students understanding of mathematical concept at SMP Negeri 5 Kisaran.Keywords: Learning Module, Scaffolding, Understanding Mathematical Concepts, Free Learning Curriculum ]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang menggunakan pembelajaran dengan model Discovery Learning berbantuan video pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purpose sampling, dimana sampel dipilih dengan pertimbangan peneliti sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Kelas X IPA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan video pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika sedangkan kelas X IPA-2 sebagai kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa skor kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa  yang dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan video pembelajaran berbasis Etnomatematika lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Etnomatematika, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Quick On The Draw learning model assisted by Microsoft Power Point Interactive Media on the Understanding of Mathematical Concepts in Grade VIII students at Adz DzakiWal Hadi IT Private Middle School in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII IT Adz Dzaki Wal Hadi Private Middle School. Two classes were randomly selected to be used as research samples. Class VIII-A, consisting of 30 students as a control class, was taught using a direct learning model, while Class VIII-B, consisting of 30 students as an experimental class, was taught using the Quick On The Draw learning model assisted by Microsoft Power Point Interactive Media. The data obtained in this study were in the form of students' conceptual comprehension ability scores which were analyzed by t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the ability to understand the concepts of students who were taught with the Quick On The Draw learning model assisted by Microsoft Power Point Interactive Media was higher than the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who were taught by applying direct learning models.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to develop and produce learning media using the Powtoon application which is valid, practical and effectivy it can be applied as a medium of learning mathematics in triangular flat material. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), namely research and development of learning media using the Powtoon application on triangular flat snapes. (R&D), namely the development of instructional media developed based on the 4-D development model which consists of Defining (Defining), Designing (Designing), Develop (Development), Disseminating (Dissemination). The test subjects in this study are all students  of VII th class A at Hessa Air Genting Islamic Private Middle School. Based on the results of the trials conducted, the data obtained  from the validation results of experts with an average of  is in the very valid results category, because . The learning media is said to be very valid, then the learning media is assessed by students with an average response of  in the very practical category, and by the teacher’s response with an average response of  in the very practical category. <![CDATA[The aim of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) learning model on mathematical communication skills in the material Lines and Series Arithmetic at XIth Class of SMA NEGERI 1 AIR JOMAN in 2022/2023 Academic Year, which is taught using the Kinemaster assisted application. It is an application that can be used by a smartphone which is useful for editing various interesting videos by presenting a fairly simple display. This study uses a learning model (ATI) which contains a number of methods/ways in teaching students to improve students' mathematical communication skills. From the results of research conducted on 30 students at the experimental class and control class by giving questions in essay form, the learning results were even better. From this, it can be concluded that the ATI learning model has an effect on improving students' mathematical communication skills. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Of, Asahan University, Advisor : Sri Rahma Dewi Saragih, S.Pd, M.Pd.The aim of this study is to describe the difficulties experienced by VIIIth Class students of SMP Negeri 1 Kualuh downstream in solving word problems in mathematics learning, especially on the main material of building space. This study belongs to a qualitative descriptive research. It was conducted in the even semester. The population in this study is all VIIIth Class students Of SMP Negeri 1 Kualuh downstream with a total of 27 students. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique, taking at least 30% of the total population, namely a minimum of 8 people. The instruments used were diagnostic tests, interviews and documentation. The results of the are concluded that: 1) Students experienced conceptual difficulties due to the difficulties in determining what was known and asked. 2) Students experience such difficulties in principle for they are wrong in determining the formula. 3) Students have got difficulties in writing conclusions at the end of the answer to the questions given.Keywords: Analysis, story questions, building space]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Treffinger berbantuan video animasi berbasis powtoon terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut. Dua kelas dipilih secara purposive sampling untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan model Treffinger berbantuan video animasi berbasis powtoon sedangkan kelas VIII-2 kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis  yang dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang telah diperoleh, diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas eksperimen (83,6667)  dari kelas kontrol (73,6667) . Dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh  yaitu 4,943501 1,671553 maka  ditolak dan  diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh model Treffinger berbantuan video animasi berbasis Powtoon terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut.Kata Kunci: Model Treffinger , Powtoon, Kemampuan Pemecahan, Matematis.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika kelas XI MA Swasta Al-Washliyah Teluk Nibung Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperiment dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik total sampling sehingga sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2). Pada kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan pada kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Konvensional. Nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 39,39 sedangkan kelas kontrol 36,41. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas eksperimen 85,27 sedangkan kelas kontrol 80,75. Hasil uji T diperoleh thitung = 2,7827 > ttabel = 1,9977. H1 diterima dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam penerapan Problem Based Learning berbantu aplikasi Liveworksheet terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.]]>
