Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of age, work experience, incentives, working hours, education level, fares, points, and transaction volume on the income of Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Denpasar City. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 95 respondents and using the proportional accidental sampling technique as the sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that, simultaneously, the variables of age, work experience, incentives, working hours, education level, fares, points, and transaction volume have a significant effect on the income of Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Denpasar City. Age, work experience, working hours, fares, points, and transaction volume have a partial effect on the income of Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Denpasar City. On the other hand, incentives and education level do not have a significant effect on the income of Gojek drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, Indonesian people began to switch from using kerosene lamps to LED lamps. LEDs are widely used as home lights, traffic signs, indicator lights, LCDs, and so on. Utilization of the Internet provides other conveniences, for example utilizing household electronic equipment, especially lights. The IoT concept aims to make the internet grow and enable easy access with a variety of devices. This research method uses several methods including: Literature Study, Observation, Tool Design, Hardware & Software and the last part is testing this tool using the Black Box Method. The results of this study are in the form of an automatic light tool that can be used directly through the Telegram application. The design of an automatic lighting device system that is used by users in home lighting has been successfully made and functions as expected. The microcontroller that is used to connect to this remote system is the NodeMCU 8266. The Relay Module is also used as a switch that functions to open and close the current as an off/on light output. The Telegram application installed on an Android smartphone is used to send commands remotely, using an internet connection to turn lights on and off via Module Relay. This tool can receive commands to turn on and turn on the lights in the house when you are traveling to save on wasted electricity costs.

Abstract

The increasing amount of wheat imports encourages the importance of reviewing and analyzing the factors that affect the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of independent variables, namely Indonesia's GDP, wheat prices, and the US dollar exchange rate on the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia. This research was conducted in Indonesia with 40 observations using time series data (quarter) for 2012-2021. The type of data used is quantitative data with a secondary data source. Data collection was done through document study method then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis assisted by EViews software version 10. The results showed that simultaneously Indonesia's GDP, wheat prices, US dollar exchange rates had a significant effect on the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia in 2012-2021. Partially Indonesia's GDP has a positive and significant effect on the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia, wheat prices have a negative and significant effect on the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia, the US dollar exchange rate does not have a significant effect on the volume of wheat imports in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Financial and Non-Financial Compensation on Employee Job Satisfaction (Case Study at PT Akses Lintas Nusantara). Samples were taken using the census method as many as 31 respondents. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method using SPSS 25.00 for windows. The results showed that: 1) Financial Compensation (X1) has an effect on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at PT Akses Lintas Nusantara Tebing Tinggi, 2). Non-Financial Compensation (X2) has an effect on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at PT Akses Lintas Nusantara Tebing Tinggi, 3). Financial Compensation (X1) and Non-Financial Compensation (X2) have a simultaneous effect on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at PT Akses Lintas Nusantara Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Learning poetry in class VIII of junior high school is still considered difficult by some students, especially in determining the theme. Poetry learning also still uses conventional methods with lecture techniques, so students feel bored, bored and less interested. The use of differentiation strategies in poetry learning using acrostic techniques is expected to influence student learning outcomes. The strategy of process differentiation, content differentiation, and product differentiation makes learning poetry more fun and easier. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in Semarang Regency. The research subjects were eighth grade students of junior high schools in two schools, namely SMP Negeri 4 Ungaran and SMP Negeri 3 Ambarawa totaling 68 students and two teachers of Indonesian language subjects. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and questionnaires. Distribute questionnaires and questionnaires to determine the initial conditions of teachers, initial conditions of learning, and initial conditions of student learning outcomes. The primary data source in this research is student learning outcomes in the form of daily performance and assessments. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased due to the influence of differentiation in learning poetry using the acrostic technique. There was an increase of 57.35% in learning performance results, from the initial condition of 41.17% to 98.52%. The effect of differentiation in learning poetry on student learning outcomes in daily assessments was 54.50% with an initial condition of 45.50% increasing to 100% of students who met the criteria for achieving learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of facilities and service quality on guest satisfaction, which has an impact on word of mouth. Research based on empirical phenomena sourced from hotel reviews on Online Travel Agents (OTA) which shows the dissatisfaction of guests staying at star hotels in Semarang Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with data in the form of numbers as an analytical tool. The population in this study were guests who had stayed at five-star hotels in Semarang Regency. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method to determine specific criteria in order to facilitate obtaining data. The number of samples taken was 148 respondents. The data analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and is processed using AMOS. The results showed that facilities had an effect on satisfaction, satisfaction had an effect on word of mouth. However, quality has no effect on satisfaction, facilities have no effect on word of mouth and quality has no effect on word of mouth. However, facilities influence word of mouth if it is strengthened by the feeling of satisfaction that is formed and service quality also influences word of mouth if it is strengthened by the satisfaction felt by staying guests.

Abstract

The agricultural sector has a direct contribution to the economy in Indonesia. This then makes the agricultural sector a potential market for domestic products both for production goods and for consumer goods, especially products produced by the food crops sub-sector. One of the food commodities that has important meaning for both the people and the Indonesian government is corn (Zea Mays L). The research aims to: (1) determine the amount of corn farming income; (2) knowing the feasibility of corn farming. The research method used is descriptive analysis method, which is carried out in a survey based on recent facts (ex post facto) which are then analyzed according to the research objectives. The research was conducted from February 2020 to March 2020. The results of the research 1) The total income of the corn farming business is IDR 5,470,000.-. 2) RCR is 1.35, BEP(Q) is 942 kg, real production is 6,000 kg, BEP(Rp) is Rp. 2,588,- /kg, the market price of corn is Rp. 3500,-/kg. The conclusion obtained is that corn farming in the Karangduren Horticultural Seed Garden is profitable and worth pursuing.

Abstract

Social media, which should be used to provide literacy so that Indonesian people understand politics, is actually used by some people as a medium for propaganda and provocation to bring down political opponents, one of which is through the spread of hoax news. The aim of this research is to find out more about the role of digital literacy and big data in preventing hoaxes ahead of the 2024 election. This research is library research which was carried out using literature, whether in the form of books, notes or reports of previous research results. The results of this research show that digital literacy and the use of big data can have a significant influence in minimizing the spread of hoax news. Furthermore, the presence of big data can help political groups better understand voting preferences and run more effective political campaigns by using it in general elections

Abstract

From pre-research at Public Elementary Schools in the Sumowono District, Semarang Regency, there are problems in learning Mathematics, namely the lack of activeness and understanding of students mathematically, The teacher gives questions and emphasizes the correctness of answers without emphasizing other aspects possessed by students, The applied learning is oriented on the development of analytical thinking with monotonous and incomplete problems and teachers are still not able to improve students' numeracy literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the validity and applicability as well as to analyze the effectiveness of domino card media with an active learning approach and to describe students' numeracy literacy abilities after using domino card media with an active learning approach. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE model developed by Branch which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The population of this study were all students of class VI at SDN Kemawi, Sumowono District, Semarang Regency, with a total of 24 students. Data collection techniques used are tests and non-tests. Data analysis techniques using product data analysis, initial data analysis and final data analysis through T and N-Gain tests. The results of the study show that the development of domino card media with an active learning approach is very feasible to use with a presentation feasibility percentage of two media experts with an average yield of 91.99% and content feasibility by material experts of 98%. This media is also used effectively as evidenced by the results of the average difference test using the t test obtained a value of 38.75 and 2.063 so that there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest learning outcomes. There was an increase in students' numeracy literacy skills through the acquisition of an average pretest and posttest through the N-Gain test of 0.82 with high criteria. In conclusion, domino card learning media with an active learning approach is very appropriate and effective for learning Mathematics on broad material and circle shapes for class VI SDN Kemawi, Semarang Regency.

Abstract

Semarang Regency has been declared by the Central Java Provincial Government as a pioneering MICE destination in 2019. This opportunity must be utilized by the Regional Government and all related stakeholders because MICE can provide multiple effects that drive the wheels of the economic industry, especially in tourist destination areas. This study aims to analyze the potential of MICE in Semarang Regency in terms of the 4 (four) aspects of MICE elements which consist of: (i). accessibility, (ii). attractiveness, (iii). amenity, (iv). human resources and stakeholder support, as well as reviewing MICE development policy strategies in order to increase tourism competitiveness in Semarang Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and the research method used is phenomenological deductive. Data analysis was carried out descriptively which was sharpened using SWOT analysis so that a structured and comprehensive policy strategy study could be produced. Based on the research results, it can be seen that Semarang Regency has the potential to be developed into a tourism-based MICE destination. Through an examination of the four elements of MICE, a number of advantages can be identified which are the basis for developing MICE activities in Semarang Regency. What then becomes important is to build a collaborative strategy between all stakeholders involved in MICE which is supported by technical strategies in each element of MICE, and also the most important thing is to strengthen human resources and support systems that are mutually reinforcing and implemented on an ongoing basis.
