Abstract

It is necessary to reform of the state apparatus in order to create a system that enable the administration to implement thegood governance, should be comprehensive which regarding the determination of the basic rules of the states goverment systemin accordance with the progress of the nation of Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to discuss what the goverment should bepursued improving the ability of the goverment bureaucracy, especially in the civil service system, decentralization of goverment andefforts to combat corruption. The method used literature study. It can be concluded that the success of the performance of goodgovernance both at central and regional levels will be determined by the quality and quantity of resources apparatus.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to recognize the pattern of the interactive association between SC operational capability and corporate competitive capability for improving performance. Moreover, the study is based on analyzing the influence of SC integration on the interactive relation as a strategic lever. There is a need to consider potential implications of efficient relation between SC operational capability and corporate competitive capability to develop integrated and coherent strategies for the strategic role of SCM. The decisions linked with the sourcing of products, planning capacity, conversion into final products, distribution, communication, demand management, and delivery is regarded as SC operational capability. The study has opted the SEM-PLS for the analysis of the data, which is among the most recent and robust data analysis technique especially for the structural issues in social sciences. The data is collected with the aid of a questionnaire which was developed basing on the prior studies. It has been stressed by previous studies on manufacturing strategy and SCM that the decisions of SCM must be aligned and strategic with the business strategy of the firm. However, consistent results have not revealed by previous literature about the shape of the interactive association between SCM strategy and corporate strategy. There are several implications of this study for theory developers and academicians. The previous frameworks of supply chain practices based on the context of developed countries have been extended by this research by incorporating various dimensions of SCI practices in the context of a developing country. The study has focused on manufacturing firms in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and work motivation on employee performance with incentives as intervening variables (Case Study on National and Political Unity Agency Employees, Simalungun Regency, Pematang Siantar City). The research method used is the quantitative data method. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) to respondents. The results of this study are 1) The emotional intelligence (X1) variable has a positive and statistically significant effect on incentives (Z).2) The Variable Work Motivation (X2) has no positive or significant effect on Incentives (Z).3) Emotional intelligence (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). 4) Work Motivation (X2) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). 5) Incentives (Z) have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). 6) The incentive (Z) is an intervening variable that mediates the effect of emotional intelligence (X1) on employee performance (Y).7 Incentive (Z) is an intervening variable that mediates the effect of work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y). This shows that emotional intelligence (X1) and work motivation (X2) can explain the incentive (Z) of 88.9%. This shows that the Incentive (Z) Emotional Intelligence (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) can explain Employee Performance (Y) by 65.2%. The author suggests that human resources or employees should prioritize the quality of emotional intelligence in addition to their intellectual intelligence so that there is a balance in terms of achieving good performance. In order for employees' work motivation to increase, the National Unity and Political Agency of Simalungun Regency Pematang Siantar City should increase the level of persistence of employees by paying attention and developing skills in order to advance the agency and improve employee performance. The incentive compensation system that is implemented should generate benefits for both parties, namely the National Unity and Political Agency of Simalungun Regency, Pematang Siantar City, as the provider of incentive compensation, and employees.

Abstract

Asian financial crisis has led many countries to perform related party transactions, which are transactions made by the firms to affiliated parties and often performed by controlling shareholders. The emergence of related party transactions cannot be separated from the existence of pyramidal ownership, where the controlling shareholder has several layers of ownership. Just as related party transactions can create a conflict of interest between the controller and the minority, the controller may transfer firms’ resources or assets to a parent entity that is not normally listed on a stock exchange. Therefore, in our paper, we would like to discuss about different aspects and arguments on the impact of related party transactions. Prior studies provide various contributions, as one argues that related party transactions are part of an efficient contract, where the two connected parties have better information with each other due to the connection than the unaffiliated parties. On the other hand, several studies suggest that related party transactions have a bad impact and are full of expropriation of minority interests.

Abstract

This research shows. (1) It can be seen that the magnitude of the adjusted R square value is 0.175 or 17.5%. This shows that Work Discipline (Z) and Leadership Style (X) can explain Employee Performance (Y) by 17.5%, the remaining 82.5% (100% - 17.5%) is explained by other variables outside the model. this research. (2) The results of the t-test (partial) can be seen that the obtained tcount (4,363) > ttable (2,048), as well as the significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Leadership Style variable (X) positive and significant effect on Work Discipline (Z). (3) The results of the t-test (partial) can be seen that the value of tcount (1.917) ttable (2.048), and the significance value of 0.367 0.05, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is rejected, meaning that Leadership Style (X) has a significant effect on employee performance. (Y). (4) The results of the path analysis test show that the direct effect of variable X on variable Y is 0.200. Meanwhile, the indirect effect through the Z variable is 0.636 x 0.329 = 0.2092. From the calculation results obtained, the indirect effect through the Z variable is greater than the direct effect on the Y variable

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Interest, Motivation, and Socio-Economic Status on Student Decisions Choosing a Bachelor of Management Program. The research method is quantitative data type and has primary data source with technical data collection by questionnaire. The population in this study amounted to 2,308 students. This study took a sample of 96 students using the Stratified Random Sampling method. Analysis of the data used is the Instrument Test, Classical Assumption Test, Hypothesis Test and Multiple Linear Regression obtained by the equation Y = 8.780 + 0.077X1 + 0.274X2 + 0.249X3. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Interest does not have no effect on the decision of students to choose the S-1 Management Program with a value of tcount (1,210) <ttabel (1,986); (2) Motivation influences students' decision to choose the S-1 Management Program with a tcount (3.959)> t table (1,986); (3) Socio-Economic Status influences the decision of students to choose the S-1 Management Program with a tcount (2,415)> t table (1,986); (4) Interests, Motivation and Socio-Economic Status jointly influence the decision of students to choose the S-1 Management Program with Fcount (11.903)> Ftable (2.70); (5) The student's decision variable choosing the S-1 Management Program is influenced by the variables of interest, motivation, and socio-economic status of 25.6% which are seen from the R2 value of 0.256. While the remaining 74.4% is influenced by other variables outside the research model, for example location variables, tuition fees, and facilities.

Penelitian ini Memiliki hasil sebagai berikut dapat diketahui bahwa thitung (2,452) > ttabel (2,042), demikian pula dengan nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,021 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan hipotesis pertama diterima, artinya variable Motivasi Kerja (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Disiplin Kerja (Z). Kedua dapat diketahui bahwa thitung (3,219) > ttabel (2,042), dan nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,003 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan hipotesis kedua diterima, artinya Motivasi Kerja (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja (Y). Ketiga dapat diketahui bahwa thitung (4,711) > ttabel (2,042), dan nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan hipotesis ketiga diterima, artinya Disiplin Kerja (Z) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Produktivitas Kerja (Y). Analisis jalur memperlihatkan pengaruh langsung variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 0,392. Sementara pengaruh tidak langsung melalui variabel Z yaitu 0,421 x 0,573 = 0,2412 dari hasil perhitungan yang didapat menunjukkan pengaruh secara tidak langsung melalui variabel Z lebih besar dibanding pengaruh secara langsung terhadap variabel Y

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Pelatihan Kerja Terhadap Prestasi Kerja Pegawai Dengan Organizatitional Commitment Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Pegawai Kementerian Perhubungan Kelautan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode data kuantitatif. Sedangkan data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti membuat kesimpulan bahwa hipotesis pertama diterima, artinya Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Organizational Commitment, hipotesis kedua diterima, artinya Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Prestasi Kerja, hipotesis ketiga ditolak, artinya Organizational Commitment tidak merupakan variabel intervening yang memediasi pengaruh Pelatihan Kerja terhadap Prestasi Kerja. Untuk menjaga prestasi kerja yang dimiliki pegawai, sebaiknya instansi memperhatikan lagi sistem pelatihan kerja karena semakin baik system pelatihan kerja maka akan semakin tinggi juga prestasi kerja pegawai.
