Abstract

Policy analysis is closely related to the political system with the content of communication and the use of policy-relevant knowledge being central to the practice and theory of policy analysis. Only knowledge about how the policy-making process occurs is communicated in that process to policy actors who can use this knowledge to improve public policy. A policy analysis methodology is a system of standards, or rules and procedures for creating, critically appraising, and communicating policy-relevant knowledge. This article explains the nature and history of public Islamic education policy where the Indonesian Ministry of Religion is the policy holder and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is the implementer or the policy implication. Starting from agenda preparation, policy formulation, policy adoption, policy implementation and policy assessment.

Abstract

The history of Islamic education in the 18th century is still not widely studied. Most historical records focus more on the socio-political history of the Banjar kingdom. The history of Islamic education in South Kalimantan can be described in two waves of development. The first wave which occurred in the 17th-18th century, which was still simple, marked the beginning of the development of Islamic education, while the second wave marked the next development of Islamic education which occurred in that period. 19th-20th century which already knew the madrasa system. Islamic education in the Banjar kingdom in the 18th century, namely between 1700-1800 AD. It is very important to research again because this was the golden age of the Banjar Kingdom. At that time, there was a peak in the growth of Islam in South Kalimantan. In general, educational activities focused on mosques, langgars, and houses with non-classical systems. The basis of education is the Koran, Hadith, the ijtihad of local scholars, and the king's decree. Educator figures include: Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari, Fatimah, Sheikh Abdul Wahab Bugis, Datu Kandang Haji, and Datu Muning alias Datu Sanggul. Abstract

Abstract

The phenomenon of sholawat being sung is related to the normalization of deviance in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach to explore public perspectives on sholawat practices that incorporate elements of music and entertainment. The findings reveal two opposing viewpoints. One group sees this practice as a deviation and misuse of traditional values, while the other views it as an innovation that enriches spiritual experiences. Through interviews and observations, this study illustrates the challenges of balancing tradition with modernity, and how understanding misguided teachings can undermine the integrity of religious practices. The results provide insights into the interactions between culture and religion, as well as the social impact of sholawat singing practices on Indonesian society. Therefore, this article emphasizes the need for awareness and reflection in adapting religious practices to remain relevant and consistent with Islamic teachings.

This study aims to understand how social media affects family dynamics, highlighting the positive and negative impacts that arise. Positive impacts include ease of communication between family members, increased emotional bonds through sharing important moments, organizing family activities, and shared access to educational content. Conversely, negative impacts include dependency, decreased quality of direct interactions, privacy risks, and exposure to age-inappropriate content that can trigger family conflict. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a thematic approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with adolescents and young adults aged 16-20 years from various social backgrounds. Analysis was conducted to identify trends in social media use and their perceptions of its impact on social and family interactions. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the role of social media in shaping patterns of social relationships, family interactions, and the quality of interpersonal communication in the family and community environment.

Abstract

The feud between Nikita Mirzani and her daughter, Lolly, has been in the public eye since mid-2023. Lolly revealed her mother's disgrace that she was forced by her mother to demonize her father Antonio, Nikita Mirzani's ex-husband, not only that Lolly also admitted that she was often forced to live tik tok every day in order to promote her mother's business venture, Lolly said that actually she didn't mind if she was told to live tiktok every day. However, she was uncomfortable with the way her mother told her to and her mother said that she would not pay for her school in England if Lolly did not obey her mother's wishes. Lolly and Nikita Mirzani's feud has been horrendous again since Lolly lived independently in London, England. Where the child is in a relationship with one of the Arab-blooded men named Vadel, Nikita compares that the son of Olla Ramlan is much better than Lolly's current lover. Lolly did not accept that. As a result Nikita stopped the monthly money that she always gave to Lolly. In March 2024 Lolly came to Nikita to Indonesia with the intention of apologizing for what she had done she claimed that after all Nikita was her mother. But while in Indonesia, Lolly's arrival was ignored by her mother, she came to her mother's house many times, however, she always received unpleasant rejection from her mother. Nikirta also said on one of the TV broadcasts that her child returned to Indonesia because the child was dismissed from school. Not long after, Nikita's personal assistant told her that she found a positive pregnancy test in Lolly's room.

Abstract

This article discusses how history teachers play an important role in the world of education and how this impacts students' understanding of history. History teachers are not only responsible for conveying information, but they are also responsible for shaping students' views and perceptions of history. However, when wrong information is conveyed in the teaching process, slander can occur. In addition, this article discusses the concept of sin jariyah, namely the moral and spiritual consequences of spreading false information. It is hoped that history teachers understand these roles and responsibilities so that they can be more careful in conveying lessons in the form of information and preventing slander.
