Abstract

Hospitals are an integral part of the healthcare system, providing comprehensive services that encompass curative, preventive, and rehabilitative aspects for the community. This study was conducted at BaliMéd Karangasem Hospital with the aim of analyzing the influence of workload and competence on nurses' performance, both directly and indirectly through work motivation as an intervening variable. The approach used was quantitative descriptive, with data collection methods including documentation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires. The analysis technique employed was path analysis to identify direct and indirect relationships between variables. The study focused on four main variables: workload, competence, work motivation, and nursing performance. The analysis results indicate that workload has a positive influence on nursing performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. Similarly, competence has a positive influence on nursing performance both directly and through work motivation. These findings confirm that work motivation plays a crucial role in amplifying the impact of workload and competence on nursing performance. Based on the research findings, the management of BaliMéd Karangasem Hospital is advised to balance workloads to prevent them from becoming excessive, enhance nurses' competencies through training that includes both hard and soft skills, and foster high work motivation through motivation and reinforcement of work commitment

Abstract

This research investigates the extent to which the utilization of the Village Financial Information System (SISKEUDES) and the competence of village apparatus affect financial accountability in village governance within West Sumbawa Regency. The study arises from ongoing disparities in the transparency and responsibility of financial practices, alongside varying levels of technical proficiency among officials managing digital systems. Adopting a quantitative methodology, the study collected data from 174 respondents involved in financial administration at the village level. A simple linear regression analysis was applied. The results indicate that SISKEUDES usage positively and significantly correlates with improved accountability, evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.447 and a significance level of 0.000. Likewise, the competence of village staff also contributes significantly, with a regression coefficient of –0.447 and the same level of significance. These outcomes emphasize the dual necessity of robust digital infrastructure and skilled human resources in fostering transparent and accountable village financial management.

Abstract

Shallot productivity in various regions still faces challenges such as suboptimal growing media quality and pest infestations. One potential solution is the use of Trichoderma sp., a biological agent known to suppress soil pathogens while enhancing plant growth. The research was conducted in the plant laboratory, Tabanan University, from May to July 2024. The treatment used a Randomized Block Design. Two factors were tried, namely Planting Media (M), namely: M1 (soil, sand, and manure), M2 (soil, rice husk charcoal, and manure), M3 (soil, rice husk, and manure). The second factor was the Dose of Trichoderma sp. (T), namely: T0 (0 g polybag-1), T1 (10 g polybag-1), T2 (20 g polybag-1), and T3 (30 g polybag-1). It was repeated three times, so there were 36 experimental units. The results showed no significant interaction between the two treatments on any of the observed parameters. The use of the M2 growing medium resulted in a fresh tuber weight of 17.02 g and a dry tuber weight of 0.58 g, respectively, an increase of 16.02% and 61.11% compared to the M1 growing medium. A 20 g dose of Trichoderma sp. in polybag-1 resulted in a fresh tuber weight of 22.57 g per clump-1 and a dry tuber weight of 0.79 g per clump-1, an increase of 11.73% and 41.07% compared to the treatment without Trichoderma sp. (T0).

Abstract

In order to support the implementation of good governance, InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) implements the E-Procurement system as an innovation to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of goods and services procurement. This study aims to analyze the effect of procurement lead time and Vendor Management System integrated in the E-Procurement system on the effectiveness of goods and services procurement at ITDC. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach through distributing questionnaires to 83 active vendors registered in the ITDC E-Procurement system. The results showed that partially the procurement lead time has a positive and significant effect on procurement effectiveness as indicated by the t-count value of 4.887, greater than the t-table of 1.990 at the 95% confidence level. Partially, the Vendor Management System also has a positive and significant effect, indicated by the t-count value of 10.733, greater than the t-table of 1.990 at the 95% confidence level. Simultaneously, procurement lead time and Vendor Management System also have a positive and significant effect on procurement effectiveness, indicated by the F-count value of 105.392 which is greater than the F-table of 3.11 at the 95% confidence level

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of Locally-Generated Revenue (PAD), Central Government Transfers (DTB), and Capital Expenditure (BM) on the dynamics of economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province over the period 2015 to 2024. The analysis adopts a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression on annual secondary data, supported by classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the estimation model. The results indicate that, collectively, the three independent variables significantly influence regional economic growth, as reflected by an F-statistic value of 15.47 (p<0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.82828. However, partial testing reveals that only DTB has a statistically significant effect, with a negative relationship, while PAD and BM are not individually significant. These findings highlight the need to enhance the efficiency of intergovernmental transfer management and to optimize strategies for improving local revenue generation and allocating capital expenditures productively, in order to support sustainable regional economic development

Abstract

The financial turmoil and price hikes of daily necessities are forcing people to spend less and less, and shopping at retail stores is no exception. As a result, consumers are very careful before deciding to buy. In Palangka Raya, Bakti Putramu Shoe Store has actually relied on social media advertising and discounts, but their effectiveness still needs to be examined further. Various previous studies even show mixed results regarding how far the marketing mix from product, price, promotion, to location determines consumer choice. Therefore, this study was designed to assess the impact of each marketing mix element on purchasing decisions at the store. Using a quantitative approach, researchers recruited 96 respondents through accidental sampling technique (non probability), then processed the data using SPSS version 27. Information collection was carried out through field observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. It turned out that, separately, product, price, promotion, and location each contributed positively and significantly to the purchase decision; and when combined, the four variables were also proven to simultaneously influence consumer choice significantly.

Abstract

The focus of the study is policy implementation of disaster management earthquake 2018 in East Lombok Regency. The scopes of study cover two theme namely disaster emergency response during disaster occurrence and post-disaster recovery. The methodology employs a phenomenological approach with qualitative design. The study finding indicate that disaster emergency response activities include rapid assessment, declaring a state of emergency, establishing a command team of emergency response, operation of emergency response, transitional status from emergency response to recovery. Meanwhile, recovery activities include an issued of presidential instruction, establishing of operational task units, verification of disaster impact, recovery planning, implementing of recovery, monitoring & evaluation

Abstract

The number of All Accor Live Limitless members staying at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has shown an increasing trend every year. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital promotions and loyalty discounts on the interest in joining the All Accor Live Limitless membership. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents selected through purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected both online and offline. Regression analysis results show that digital promotions and loyalty discounts simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the interest in joining the membership, with an F value of 33.702 and significance < 0.05. Partially, digital promotions (t = 5.917) and loyalty discounts (t = 3.348) also have a significant effect, although loyalty discounts have a greater practical effect with a regression coefficient of 0.011 compared to digital promotions at 0.003. The resulting regression model explains 71.8% of the variation in the interest to join the membership. These findings emphasize that optimizing digital promotions and loyalty programs is crucial to increasing membership, especially in the hospitality industry in tourist destinations such as Bali.

Abstract

Mount Rinjani National Park is one of the important conservation areas protected by national law due to its ecological value, biodiversity, and vital environmental functions for Lombok Island and its surroundings. Legal protection for this area is regulated in Law Number 5 of 1990, which was later reinforced through Law Number 32 of 2024 as an amendment. Forms of legal protection include: prohibition of destructive activities such as poaching, encroachment, and forest burning, direct supervision by Forestry Police and the TNGR Office, and community involvement through participatory approaches and conservation education. Law enforcement is carried out through: regular patrols by the Forestry Police (Polhut) and investigations by Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS) of Forestry. Therefore, the synergy between law enforcement officials, the government, local communities, and tourists is crucial to ensure the sustainability of conservation functions in Mount Rinjani National Park

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are essential assets for the sustainability of a company. Particularly for the younger workforce, such as Generation Z, proper HR management is crucial to maintain work stability and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on job satisfaction and turnover intention, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction among Generation Z in Denpasar City. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The sample consisted of 224 respondents categorized as productive-age Generation Z. The results show that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, and a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction also has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Moreover, job satisfaction is proven to mediate the effect of workload on turnover intention significantly, although the mediating effect is considered weak (VAF = 17.6%). This study highlights that proper workload management can reduce employees’ intention to leave, particularly by improving their job satisfaction.
