Abstract

The objective of this paper is to discover the implementation of clinical supervision for improving learning effectiveness towards sport, physical, and health education in SDIT Bumi Darun Najah Lekok District Pasuruan. This study employed descriptive qualitative design. The data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. The data, then, were analyzed by using interactive method through data reduction, data exposition, and drawing conclusion. The result of this study showed that the implementation of clinical supervision consists of three stages, teacher in learning process is indicated less effective, and classroom management is still required to be improved. It is indicated that teacher encounters hindrance regarding learning effectiveness, particularly in encouraging students enthusiasim and conditioning students in the field.

Abstract

Academic achievement is starting point for the students to succeed in learning. There are two factors that contribute to succeed of the students’ academic achievement such as achievement motivation and academic self-concept, both factors are non-cognitive factor that affect on students' academic achievement. This research aimed to examine the effect of achievement motivation and academic self-concept on academic achievement of students of all the Junior High School in Malang city. Path analysis method been used to analyze the data that been collected from 393 samples. Result of the research shown that there were positive and significant directly and indirectly influenced between academic self-concept and achievement motivation on academic achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a training modules forgiveness based on the appraisement of experts (reviewers) and high school student's response to the training modules forgiveness that have been developed. This study adapting the model development of Borg and Gall (1983), while the structure of the writing module refers to the guide preparation of module which prepared by the Director General module PMPTK (2008). The results of this study are drafting a training module forgiveness for senior high school students in Malang. Based appraisement materials experts, media specialists, and linguists classified as good, according to school counselors classified very good and yield response of students classified as good. So, that these modules worthy be used in the awarding of guidance services in schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the improvement of the teachers’ ability and find out the barriers and solutions in clinical supervision activities. The study used the descriptive qualitative approach with a single data analysis. The collection of data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used in the form of interview guidelines and checklist. The results showed (1) The improvement could be seen in the ability of the teachers in lesson planning; (2) Clinical Supervision ran with three stages, an initial meeting, observations and gathering feedback; (3) The obstacle was not maximal in the use of media and classroom management in the learning process and for the solutions, teachers should use media that attract and manage students’ class in the form of small groups.

Abstract

Management of learning conducted independently, allowing students to study according to their interests and without coercion from others, so it will have a positive impact on learning achievement he achieved. This research aims to develop independent learning training package by using individual learning plan strategies for junior high school students. The development of training packages using the model of development research from Borg and Gall (1983). Based on the results of expert assessment and user training package independent learning by using strategies of individual learning plan for junior high school students have met the eligibility criteria and acceptance. Test the effectiveness of the various different subjects in future studies need to be done so lack the training package developed in this training can be improved.

Abstract

The design used in this study is a quasi-experimental (quasi experiment). Subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Sakra Timur Semester 2 academic year 2015/2016. independent variables in this study is a model of problem-based learning approach to inquiry and the dependent variable in this study is the student learning outcomes. The data in this study a number or score learning outcomes. Learning outcomes in question is gain score derived from the difference between pretest scores and posttes. The results of data analysis score geography student learning outcomes, showing that there was an increase in average achieved experimental classes from 77.82 to 59.08 into a 18.74 increase. Although the control group also increased score of 56.75 into 70.25 with an increase of 13.5, but when compared with the experimental class, increase in the average score belajaranya results higher than the increase in the control class. The difference increased scores kelase ksperimen learning outcomes with the controls is at 7. 57. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning model based inquiry approach an issue with significant effect on student learning outcomes in high school. This is proven by the results of the calculation of the value of gain score statistic 0.4758 to 0.02787 and the standard error of the mean of 5%.

Abstract

This research is a development that is in optimizing the learning resources inherent in the economy high school students. There are many learning resources that can be used for the students but the students and teacher in particular are not able to maximize the learning economy. This is a problem in this study. This research method using the Design Based Research (DBR), the results obtained are of validator experts, practitioners, and students also declared valid and can be developed. Results are conducted at the high school level is Public Senior High School in Tumpang, Malang. The response of students in learning also showed good results and inspire.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of reciprocal teaching learning aided concept maps to students critical thinking skills in learning biology. The design of the study is a quasi-experimental design with research subjects in class X student of Agricultural Product Processing Technology (TPHP) and class X student of Fishery Products Processing Technology (TPHPi). Differences of the students critical thinking skills in the both class analyzed by using Anacova test. The results showed that there is an positive effect of reciprocal teaching learning aided concept maps to the critical thinking ability of students. The critical thinking of students’ in the experimental class (average percentage of critical thinking skills of students 73,36%) was higher than the control group (average percentage of students' critical thinking skills 53,20%). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of reciprocal teaching learning aided concept maps can enhance students’ critical thinking skills in learning biology.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) identifying the environmental values in consumer behavior facilitated school to be internalized in students, (2) know the process of internalization of environmental values in consumption behavior on students, and (3) identifying the values of the environment in consumer behavior have actualization students in everyday behavior, This is a qualitative research method using aproach phenomenology. The results showed that the value of the environmental values in consumer behavior is facilitated by the school to be internalized in students of SMAN 1 Bangil is implementing 3R, applying 5P free, save electricity and energy, saving water, saving paper, plastic use reduction, waste sorting. And the values of the environment in the consumption behavior has been actualized in the daily behavior of students of SMAN 1 Bangil.

Abstract

Teaching reading comprehension of short stories needs particular strategy and knowledge of students’ cognitive styles. One of the strategies to teach reading comprehension of short stories is PQ4R integrated with concept mapping. There are two types of students’ cognitive styles, field dependent and field independent. This research is aimed to investigating the effect of PQ4R integrated with concept mapping strategy, the effect of the students’ cognitive styles and the interaction of both on reading comprehension ability of the seventh grade students of Junior High School 3 Malang. It is a quantitative research. Data generated in the form of test scores were analyzed using Ancova test.
