Abstract

Sexual education at puberty is needed for young women with mild intellectual disabilities (ID) to help with puberty. Through sexual education, young women can have a better understanding of the changes that occur in their bodies and the right behavior to show in the social environment. This study aims to determine the knowledge of inclusive teachers about sexual education at puberty for young women with mild intellectual disabilities. This research was conducted using the principles of qualitative research. Data obtained based on interviews using telephone media to 4 inclusive school teachers in Bandung. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results show that knowledge about the characteristics of ID is still not mastered by all teachers. Knowledge about how to teach students with mild ID in the academic settings and the characteristics of puberty is owned by the four teachers based on their experience. However, all teachers do not yet have complete knowledge about the scope of sexual education material that needs to be provided as well as how to provide effective sexual education for young women with mild ID. Further research can be carried out to develop an intervention program design to improve the knowledge and skils of inclusive teachers to provide sexual education at puberty

Abstract

Sejumlah riset terdahulu sudah memperlihatkan bahwa Generasi Y mempunyai nilai turnover yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan generasi lainnya. Pergantian karyawan didahului oleh niat untuk berubah. Nilai niat turnamen pada karyawan yang dipengaruhi oleh komitmen organisasi, dan pekerjaan membutuhkan mereka.Riset ini ialah pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menentukan peranan komitmen organisasi dan bekerja bersama mereka sesegera tujuan turnamen untuk karyawan gen-Y diIndonesia. Subjek terkait dengan riset ialah 176 karyawan Y generasi di Indonesia. Alat pengukuran diterapkan ialah skala komitmen organisasi, skala pekerjaan dan skala skala turnamen. Temuan uji regresi berganda memperlihatkan koefisien regresssion sejumlah 0,598, koefisien determinan 0,357 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p <0,05) dengan koefisien beta (standardize) pada variabel komitmen organisasi -0,434 serta proyek work fit dari variabel 0,259.

Abstract

Kepala sekolah adalah pekerjaan professional yang diperhadapkan dengan berbagai resiko, termasuk resiko terkena stres kerja. Namun, kajian tentang stres kepala sekolah pada konteks Indonesia masih jarang ditemukan. Dengan reformasi sekolah pada abad keduapuluh satu ini, kepala sekolah dituntut supaya mampu bekerja dengan penuh tanggung jawab dan akuntabilitas. Konsekuensinya, kondisi yang demikian mengarahkan kepala sekolah untuk mangalami stres atas fungsi dan peran mereka sebagai pemimpin di sekolah. Tujuan studi ini adalah berupaya untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai penyebab stres yang dialami kepala sekolah dan menyarankan strategi mengatasi stres yang dialami kepala sekolah. Berbagai artikel jurnal yang relevan digunakan sebagai bahan referensi untuk membahas topik tersebut. Dengan demikian, hasil studi ini menemukan lima penyebab stres kepala sekolah, yaitu interaksi buruk dengan warga sekolah, sumber daya sekolah tidak memadai, kompleksitas peran dan beban kerja, tantangan terkait kebijakan pendidikan, dan skill mengelola waktu yang kurang baik. Selanjutnya, strategi mengatasi stres kepala sekolah terdiri dari pendekatan internal dan pendekatakn eksternal.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of wisdom and religiosity in the attitude of facing death in Javanese society during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in Desa Banyubiru, Kab. Semarang, Central Java, with a total of 50 participants. This study applies three measurement scales, namely (1) the self-assessed wisdom scale (SAWS) developed by Webster (2003); (2) The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS) developed by Huber & Huber (2012); and (3) Death Attitude Profile-Revised (DAP-R) developed by Wong, Reker, & Gesser (1994). The measurement scale has been modified into Indonesian language because of the environmental context of the research participants. This research draws upon quantitative approach with multiple regression statistical analysis. The results showed an F value of 5.743 with a level of significance 0.006 (p <0.05), which means religiosity and wisdom has simoultanesly impact towards the death attitude in Javanese society. The amount of contribution given by the two independent variables together is 19.6%. the further researchers require to consider the cultural, environmental, and socioeconomic context in referring attitudes toward death

Abstract

Skripsi merupakan karya tulis ilmiah yang dalam proses penyusunannya memiliki berbagai tantangan. Munculnya pandemi COVID-19 menambah permasalahan dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa. Pemberlakuan kebijakan pembatasan kegiatan membuat segala kegiatan dalam proses skripsi dilakukan secara online. Banyaknya permasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa saat menyusun skripsi dapat menimbulkan stres. Pentingnya strategi coping yang tepat dalam menghadapi permasalahan saat proses skripsi agar mahasiswa dapat melakukan penyesuaian dengan kondisi stres dan terhindar dari stres yang berkepanjangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi coping apa saja yang digunakan mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi di tengah pandemi COVID-19 dan faktor-faktor apa yang memengaruhi pemilihan strategi coping dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 5 orang mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi di tengah pandemi COVID-19 dan mengalami kendala atau hambatan pada skripsi dikarenakan pandemi COVID-19. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode strategi coping yang dilakukan terdiri dari pengalihan, penyelesaian masalah, dan mencari dukungan sosial. Pemilihan metode strategi coping yang dilakukan dipengaruhi oleh konsep diri, keinginan diri sendiri, lingkungan pertemanan, keluarga, dan waktu. Efek yang ditimbulkan setelah melakukan strategi coping adalah merasakan ketenangan dan mampu kembali fokus dalam mengerjakan skripsi.

Abstract

Ketika pandemi COVID-19 menyebar secara global, pedoman kesehatan masyarakat menyarankan semua karyawan untuk bekerja dari rumah (WFH). Di Indonesia, belum banyak perusahaan yang menerapkan WFH sebelumnya dikarenakan praktik manajemen yang masih tradisional, tentu penyesuaian terhadap WFH merupakan pengalaman baru untuk sebagian besar karyawan. Sementara itu, sebagian besar penelitian yang diulas mengenai dampak karantina melaporkan efek psikologis negatif pada individu termasuk gejala stres, kebingungan, dan kemarahan. Berdasarkan situasi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kembali pengaruh sikap fleksibilitas kerja terhadap WFH melalui flexibility working options terhadap produktivitas kerja selama masa karantina Pandemik COVID-19 dan menguji strategi coping stress sebagai moderator pada hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan 421 karyawan yang bekerja secara WFH pada sektor swasta, publik dan pemerintah di Indonesia. Responden dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Pengujian efek moderasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik moderated regression analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi koping memoderasi hubungan secara positif, sehingga hubungan antara fleksibilitas kerja dan produktivitas kerja semakin meningkat ketika karyawan menerapkan mekanisme koping yang berfokus pada masalah untuk mengendalikan stresor dan menjaga produktivitas kerja mereka selama pandemi COVID-19. When the COVID-19 pandemic spread globally, public health guidelines recommend all workers to work from home (WFH). In Indonesia, not many companies have implemented WFH before because of traditional management practices, of course adjusting to WFH is a new experience for most workers. Meanwhile, most of the studies reviewed regarding the effects of quarantine reported negative psychological effects including symptoms of stress, confusion, and anger. Based on this situation, this study aims to review the influence of work flexibility attitudes towards WFH through flexibility working options on work productivity during the COVID-19 Pandemic quarantine period and test the coping strategy as a moderator on the relationship between the two variables. This study involved 421 working from home employees in the private sector, public sectors and government in Indonesia. Participants were taken using convenience sampling techniques through the distribution of questionnaires online. Testing for moderation effects is done by using moderated regression analysis (MRA) technique. The results show that coping strategy positively moderates the relationship, such that the relationship between flexibility working options and work productivity is increasing when employee implement coping mechanisms that focus on problems for control stressors and maintain their work productivity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Dating relationship is a crucial part of the human life particularly for the young adults that it can affect the mental health of a person. Hence, the quality of dating relationship should be thoroughly considered because bad dating relationship could contribute negatively to a person’s life, to the person’s relationship with other people in the future and further to the next phase of dating relationship (marriage). Prior researches show that attachment is the preeminent indicators of the quality of relationship. Attachment is human desire to establish relationship based on shared affection with other individuals. Attachment also determines the direction and the basic understanding of individual toward that relationship. The objective of this research is to discern the dimension effect of attachment toward the quality of dating relationship for the young adults. Total participant of this research is 145 people. This research uses quantitative research method with measuring instrument of ‘The Experiences Close Relationship-Revised dan The Perceived Relationship Quality Component.’ The result of this research shows that there is dimension effect of attachment toward the quality of dating relationship by 44,8%. However, attachment avoidance give bigger impact towards relationship quality compare with attachment anxiety.

Abstract

Previous studies have highlighted the importance of cultural sensitivity when investigating the work–family interface. Characteristics of each culture may impact differently on how individuals view work and family roles. This study aims to investigate whether social supports, such as spousal support, supervisory support, and domestic support, predict work–family conflict and employment-related guilt among Indonesian working married women. The study surveyed 442 women who were 23–48 years of age, employed in both the public and private sectors in Indonesia, and had at least one child at home. Path analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses. The study found that instrumental spousal support and supervisory support are significant predictors of both work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict. Emotional spousal support predicts family-to-work conflict but not work-to-family conflict. However, the results suggest that spousal support, supervisory support, and work-to-family conflict did not predict employment-related guilt. Domestic support also did not predict work–family conflict and employment-related guilt. The findings emphasize the importance of certain social support for employed mothers, particularly in a collectivist society like Indonesia. Organizations could provide employee assistance programs that offer counseling services to employees who have family-related problems. Training for managers and supervisors would be another approach to increasing awareness of the importance of supervisory support. Other implications of the findings and recommendations for professionals are discussed.

Abstract

Work-family conflict have been strongly felt by married female lecturers in the midst of the Covid-19 virus pandemic. Lecturers must carry out their duties from home, besides that they also have the task of taking care of children and husbands at home. Work-family conflict can be affected by work family conflict self-efficacy and spouse support. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the two variables (work-family conflict self-efficacy and spouse support) simultaneously on work-family conflict in married female lecturers. Subject totaled 21 female lecturers who worked as lecturers at a university. Researchers used the work family conflict, the work family conflict self-efficacy, and spouse support scale. The results obtained by R square = 0.428 means that work-family conflict self-efficacy and spouse support has a role as much as 42.8% in explaining work-family conflict. R value = 0.654; F = 6737; and p = 0.007 ?<0.05 where the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant role between work-family conflict, self-efficacy, and spouse support for work-family conflict in married female lecturers at University X during work from home. The Beta value shows that spouse support has a higher value that affects work-family conflict than work-family conflict self-efficacy.

Abstract

Bali is full of rituals and ceremonies in every activity that exists. Kerauhan is a phenomenon that is very close to the Balinese Hindu community. Unfortunately, people often only associate this phenomenon with negative things such as being possessed by a demon or wandering spirits. In a different view, this phenomenon is believed to be a symbol of God's presence. This causes kerauhan to become increasingly complex for the public to understand. Kerauhan experienced by a person has a psychological impact on their life. The perceived impact affects the individual's self-concept, namely how certain beliefs, views, attitudes, and evaluations an individual has of them self. This research aims to describe the psychological dynamics and self-concept of adolescents who often experienced kerauhan. This research uses a qualitative method with a multicase study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The respondents for this research are 3 women and 2 men who were in the adolescent phase and often experienced kerauhan in Hindu religious ceremonies in Bali. Collecting data using a semi-structured interview method. Meanwhile, the data analysis used in this research is thematic analysis. The results showed that most respondents accepted the experience of kerauhan because they thought that kerauhan was a gift from God, the respondents had a good understanding of what they wanted to be and the social role they played, and all respondents had a tendency to have positive self-concept.
