Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the dimensions of self concept (self image, selfevaluation, ideal-self, and social self) and self- disclosure (amount, valance, accuracy & honesty, intention, and intimacy) on communication interpersonal adolence. The samples used in this study are 284students in SMPN 1 Rajeg. This study used quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that self-concept and selfdisclosure have significant influence on self adjustment of new immigrant students in college (R square = 17.6 %, sig = 0,000). The results of minor hypothesis testing show that ideal-self,amount, and valensi significantly influence communication interpersonal of students inSMPN 1 Rajeg. The implications of the findings in terms of providing interventions forincreasing levels of communication interpersonal among students in SMPN 1 Rajeg werediscussed. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i1.8161

Abstract

Turnover bagi karyawan merupakan salah satu jalan keluar untuk mendapatkan keadaan yang lebih baik, namun bagi perusahaan hal ini dapat menjadi suatu kerugian tersendiri. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh komitmen organisasi yang mempunyai variabel prediksi yaitu komitmen afektif, komitmen normatif, serta komiten kontinuans dan kepuasan kerja yang mempunyai variabel prediksi yaitu upah/gaji, promosi, atasan, balas jasa, penghormatan/penghargaan, kondisi operasi/kondisi kerja, rekan kerja, sifat pekerjaan, dan komunikasi terhadap intensi turnover. Penelitian ini memiliki jumlah sampel sebanyak 204 orang yang diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling.

Abstract

This study was conducted to discover factors which affect teenage depression. Previous studiesindicate that there are gender effect, age of puberty, and psychological variables, body imageand emotion intelligence on teenage depression. Quantitative approach used in this studyusing multiple regression analysis. Sample of this study were 200 junior high school studentswho were chosen using non-probability sampling technique. In this study, researchersmodified data collecting instruments, Multidimensional Body-Self Relation Questionnaire-Appearance Scale, BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory, and Beck Depression Inventory.Result of this study indicates that there are significant effects of body image, emotionalintelligence, gender, and age of puberty on teenage depression. Significant variables areappearance orientation, body size categorization, body image anxiety, and interpersonalability of emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besarnya sumbangan dukungan sosial, gaya kelekatan, jenis kelamin, dan lama tinggal di panti asuhan terhadap perasaan kesepian pada remaja yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan Khazanah Kebajikan. Sampel berjumlah 170 remaja (79 laki-laki dan 91 perempuan) berusia 13-18 tahun yang dipilih dengan cara simple random sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama dari dukungan emosional, dukungan penghargaan, dukungan instrumental, dukungan informasi, dukungan jaringan, secure attachment style, fearful attachment style, preoccupied attachment style, dismissing attachment style, jenis kelamin dan lama tinggal di panti asuhan terhadap perasaan kesepian. Kemudian, jika dilihat dari koefisien regresi masing-masing IV, diketahui bahwa hanya terdapat tiga IV yang signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap perasaan kesepian, yaitu dukungan penghargaan, dukungan jaringan, dan fearful attachment style.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resiliency, social support, relationship with supervisor, autonomy dan performance feedback terhadap work engagement. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 202 Guru. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-probability sampling. Uji alat ukur menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multiple Regression Analysis pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resiliency, social support, relationship with supervisor, autonomy dan performance feedback terhadap work engagement. Hasil uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy dan optimsm memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap work engagement. Sementara itu, hope, resiliency, social support, relationship with supervisor, autonomy dan performance feedback tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap work engagement. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan proporsi varians dari work engagement yang dijelaskan oleh seluruh variabel independen adalah 65,2%, sedangkan 34,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Many experimental researches have been conducted until recent years to see the effect of mastery learning approach on students’ cognitive behavior and affective characteristics. But the question is how much evidence is there in the existing research results provides scientific conclusions by combining existing experimental results. By treating different experiments of mastery learning as research replications, the experimental results can be combined using a meta-analysis technique. This paper shows how a quantitative research synthesis can effectively be used to combine statistical evidences of researches conducted separately and independently. The effect of mastery learning on affective characteristics of students was selected for this research synthesis. The mastery learning approach to be investigated in this research synthesis is Bloom type of mastery learning strategy. Using 26 independent comparisons, the results of study show that: a) the effect sizes of mastery learning on affective characteristics of students are heterogeneous across studies, b) the source of study, either from dissertation or journal article, does not explain the variability among the effect sizes, c) mastery learning programs using a ≥ 75% mastery criterion seem to have positive affective impact on the students, while those using < 75 % mastery criterion have no impact on the affective characteristics of students, d) the mean effect size shows a decreasing trend as the level of education increases, e) the mean effect size is highly positive for mathematics class and low positive effect for science and social studies, and f) short treatment duration has a much larger positive effect size than the long term treatment duration. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v20i2.9176

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur school engagement, locus of control, dan dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi akademik remaja. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 214 siswa usia 15-18 tahun. Data diperoleh melalui pengisian skala, untuk mengukur resiliensi akademik, skala Academic Resilience Inventory diadaptasi, sedangkan pengukuran school engagement, skala School Engagement Measured diadaptasi, pengukuran locus of control, skala The Internal-External Scale diadaptasi, dan pengukuran dukungan sosial dalam penelitian ini skala The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support diadaptasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh bersama yang signifikan dari school engagement, locus of control dan dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi akademik remaja. Proporsi varians dari resiliensi akademik pada remaja yang dijelaskan oleh semua variabel independen adalah sebesar 9.8%. Variabel yang menunjukkan kecenderungan positif paling dominan dan secara signifikan memengaruhi resiliensi akademik remaja adalah behavioral engagement dan cognitive engagement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara orientasi religiusitas dengan kepuasan hidup. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Psikologi Islam, Jurusan Ushuluddin, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Kediri. Jumlah sampel (N=168) dikumpulkan melalui sampling acak sederhana. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara orientasi religiusitas intrinsik dengan kepuasan hidup dan sebaliknya ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara orientasi religiusitas ekstrinsik dengan kepuasan hidup.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of moral integrity, lifestyle and organizational culture on anti-corruption intention involving 54 police officers and 97 civil servants of police in police institution X. Sampling technique in this study using non-probability sampling. The measuring tool used in this study consists of the Anti Corruption Intelligence Scale which the authors develop themselves to measure the anti-corruption intention, Moral Integrity Scale to measure moral integrity, AIO Psychographic to measure lifestyles, and the Denison Organizational Culture Survey to measure organizational culture. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to test the validity of measuring instrument and Multiple Regression Analysis is used to test the research hypothesis. The results revealed that there was a significant of moral integrity, lifestyle and organizational culture against anti corruption intention at 56.3%. It means that the proportion of varians of anti-corruption intention in can be explained by moral integrity, lifestyle, and organizational culture at 56.3% and 43.7% explored by other factors.  DOI:10.15408/tazkiya.v22i2.8413

Abstract

Social loafing defined as the tendency to reduce in motivation and effort that occurs whenindividuals work collectively in groups than when they work individually. The main purposeof this article is to know the effect of group cohesiveness, self-efficacy, gender, and age on socialloafing. Total sample was 150 respondents from members of regional organizationparticipated in this research. Measuring instrument consists of social loafing refers toChidambaram & Tung (2005), scale of group cohesiveness use group environmentquestionnaire (GEQ) developed by Widmeyer, Brawley, and Carron (1985) and self efficacyrefers to Bandura (1986).The result of this study indicte group cohesiveness and self efficacyhave significant effecr on social loafing. Specifically, individual attraction to the group-social(ATG-S), individual attraction to the group-task (ATG-T) and the magnitude significantlyinfluence to social loafing.
