Abstract

Behavior is an individual's response or reaction to an object which is manifested in action, behavior or movement. Behavior is a person's reaction to the surrounding environment, whether simple or complex. However, not all human behavior can be seen, this is because there are behaviors that can be seen directly, and also those that cannot be observed directly. In this case, managing agricultural land is an effort carried out consciously and continuously by farmers. The author wrote this research to see whether there is a positive relationship between farmers and the information they receive in managing agricultural land.

Abstract

Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses today. Due to the considerable influence of depression in daily activities, sufferers experience deep sadness and grief and even take solutions by suicide. Although some doctors and psychologists have presented many solutions, depression is still a rampant mental illness at any time. In this case, a Muslim psychologist of Afghanistan origin named Abu Zayd Al-Balkhi, explained the various causes of depression followed by its symptoms and factors. Not spared from symptoms and factors, Al Balkhi also explained the steps and solutions for people with depression. The method used by Al-Balkhi that has never been done by Muslim psychologists before is with cognitive theory. Regarding depression, Al Balkhi's discussion was supported by earlier Islamic scholars who also wrote in his work on the prevention of grief (depression). This study used a literature study by collecting data and information on the importance of depression prevention and how to treat people with depression. The results of this study explain how important a person is in enduring feelings of sadness and loss that will result in depression.

Abstract

Prudent study and analysis of the religiosity instruments that have been circulating it are found that there are many variations of instruments measuring the religiosity of Muslims. This is due to differences in the conceptual constructs used by the researchers as the basis for developing such instruments. The use of concepts and instruments that are not based on Islamic religiosity has the potential to distance the measuring instrument from what psychological behavior to be measured, while the measuring instrument based on Islamic religiosity is also not yet fully solid, in line, and be close to each other with Islam. Dissatisfaction with the instruments based on the constructs and instruments of Islamic religiosity that have been compiled has encouraged researchers to develop religious instruments based on Islamic teachings in a precise and solid manner. This instrument is called the Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS). The results of the psychometric test and empirical data show that the Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS) has a good factor structure through the testing phase of the unidimensional fit model. The Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS) measuring instrument consists of five dimensions, namely belief, formal ritual, interpersonal, personal, and morality. There are 33 valid items to measure the Islamic construct of the kāffah composed of five items representing the belief dimension, six items representing the formal dimension of ritual, thirteen items representing interpersonal relationships, twelve items representing the personal dimension, and three items representing the morality dimension. Overall, the results of this research provide preliminary evidence to support the use of the Kāffah of Islamic of Scale (KIS) as a measurement tool that has conceptual and psychometric strengths.

Abstract

During the online learning period there are obstacles and obstacles faced by students, even so learning must still be carried out, so students are expected to be able to convince themselves to be able to achieve online learning goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social support on selfefficacy in Islamic students. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 410 students, with 124 male students and 286 female students. The general self-efficacy scale-12 (GSES-12) developed by Bosscher & Smit (1998) is used by researchers to measure self-efficacy, and the multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MSPSS) created by Zimet et al. (1988) researchers used to measure social support. Test the validity of the construct measurement on each variable was carried out after data collection and before data analysis. In testing the validity of measuring instruments, researchers used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) (Muthen & Muthen, 2017). Hypothesis testing was carried out using the software SPSS Version 24. The results showed a significance value of .000 (p < .05) thus, there was a significant influence between social support on the self-efficacy of Islamic students in online learning. The results of the regression analysis test obtained an R Square of .152 or 15.2% on the effect of social support on self-efficacy in Islamic students in online learning.

Abstract

Personality is a term that comes from the Latin word "persona" which means "mask", or also from the Latin word "personare" which means to sound through. Meanwhile, in Arabic, personality is called syakhshiyah. In Arabic lexicology, the term nafsiyah is also known which comes from the word nafs; iniyah (aniyah) from the word ana, and the term khuluqiyah or "akhlaq" which is more widely used in classical Islamic literature. These words are similar to the word syakhshiyah, but are unique. Therefore, this research will discuss personality concepts from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of strength-based parenting and religious commitment on students' character strengths mediated by positive affect. This study uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique was a non-probability and purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 484 students of Senior High School X. The scale used is VIA-72, SBP scale, MUDRAS, and NAPAS. Data were analyzed by path analysis technique using Lisrel 8.80. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the model "the influence of strength-based parenting and religious commitment on the strength of students' character is mediated by positive affect" fits the data. Positive affect acts as a mediator for the dimensions of strength-based parenting use, engaging in bodily worship of Allah, and recommended acts except for strength-based parenting knowledge and sinful acts. Parents can start bonding-based parenting by keeping a diary of the strengths their children use on a daily basis, mapping out the strengths of each family member, and asking questions about the strengths their children have.

Abstract

Students are a topic that is always interesting to discuss because students have a big role in criticizing things that are wrong. In Indonesia, students also have a role in achieving Indonesian independence. With students actively participating in activist activities and the presence of influences from outside the lecture, it is possible for external factors to emerge that will be attached to them. Not all students take part in activist activities, there are also students who are apathetic towards these activities. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out whether there were differences between students who took part in activist activities and those who did not.
