The purpose of this research is to enhance the performance of PVDF/TiO2 membrane particularly permeate flux in the application of oily wastewater treatment by adding Polyethylene glycol (PEG). Various concentration of oily wastewater was conducted in order to investigate the influence of the concentration on the membrane performance. Results show that by adding the PEG into the PVDF/TiO2 membrane, the permeate flux of oily wastewater was increase compared to PVDF/TiO2 membrane without PEG. The permeate flux was affected by concentration of synthetic oily wastewater. Increasing the concentration of synthetic oily wastewater, decreasing the flux of oily wastewater

This paper explained the design and investigation of the characteristic structure of split ring resonator circular in the parameter of microwave metamaterial absorber in X-band frequency. The result showed that bigger value of inner radius circular geometry obtained the resonance frequency shifted to bigger such as 9.20 GHz to 9.30 GHz, and maximum absorption rate increased from 88.9% to 93,35%. When the inner radius smaller and the outer higher, represented the resonance frequency shifted to lower, 11.13 GHz to 9.94 GHz, and the maximum absorption rate decreased from 85% to 78,27%. In another condition, the lower gap variation affected resonance frequency shifted to lower 9.30 GHz to 9.13 GHz but maximum absorption rate increased 88.64% to 89,2%, thus opposite.

Abstract-This research intended to give an overview on the micro banking to develop the concrete steps of IT infrastructure to facing the globalization of business. Previous studies showed that the differences in the perception of negative effect on long-term performance of the organization in this case the productivity paradox. Mapping IT Investment Portfolio as an approach to user orientation be appropriate alternative to achieving objective business success by offering a wide range of potential applications with objective of user needs. This study finding there are 15 potential applications that can be developed by Micro banking for 5 years later with specific application indeed to reflecting all levels of management needs.

Ductile braced frames are often used to resist lateral earthquake loads in steel buildings. However, the presence of the brace element can interfere with architectural features. Buckling-restrained braced frame in eccentric configuration (BRBF-E) is believed to have combined good performance in resisting earthquake loads and great flexibility for architectural design. Eccentrically braced frames can accommodate architectural openings for doors, windows and hallways. However, every configuration of buckling-restrained braced frame in eccentric configuration has a different seismic response in earthquake loadings. The effect of different parameters to the structural response of BRBF-E was studied such as eccentricity-to-length of bay ratio, cross sectional area of BRB, length of the bay, and location of the braces. Design parameters were investigated to determine its effects to the structural response of different eccentric configurations of BRBF-E with building height of 3, 6 and 9 stories. These parameters of BRBF-Es under seismic loading were analyzed using pushover analysis. The analysis of data was composed of comparison of inter-story drift and percentage failure of members. Comparing the different BRBF-E configurations, the single[1] brace configuration provides the most reduction in inter-story drift and percentage of failure of members. From the numerical experiment results, a design guide for BRBF-E was proposed.

"Wong Jawa Ilang Jawane” (“Javanese people were losing their Javaneseness”) is an expression which refers to Javanese youngsters that adapting western culture. Therefore, this study an attempts to offer “Javaneseness” concept for Javanese tribe to reflect. The researchers are using descriptive method. The researchers are using tourist attractions standards and the cultural attractions. The applications of “Traditional javanese Architecture” theme will be the vessel of four cultural tlatah (areas) from East Java, and referring to “Manunggaling Kawula Gusti” as the theoretical framework from Javanese philosophy for cultural attractions complex in Surabaya.

Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is vehicle with least two energy sources, such as Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM). BLDCM provide additional torque, to purpose of HEV can reach the set point speed according to the reference model. Commutation of BLDCM still complicated, because between the rotational speed of the motor and the speed of the rotary field on the stator should be kept synchronized. Self Commutation used to maintain synchronization between rotation of the rotor and rotary field velocity on BLDCM stator. In addition, this research also applies torque control strategy by using fuzzy-PI controller. Vehicle performance still follows the reference curve with steady state error of 0.1506 km/h and RMSE relative response speed HEV <2%

Pricing become one of determinant variable of consumer preferences to product and design of a house. When the selling price of a house is highest than the buying power of consumer, then the number of its demand was go down. Conversely, when the selling price of house could reachable by consumer buying power, then the number of its demand increased. This research is the preliminary research from advanced research to investigate the marginal pricing of Perumahan Pondok Indah Matani. By literature reviews and cost calculation methods, it is found that there were three (3) aspect of product and facade design of house that influences to the selling price, namely cost of spouse and plastering walls, cost of door sills and windows; and wall-painting cost.

Today, architectural theory has atrophied. Despite a perceived need for different theoretical ways of clarifying, explaining and understanding the complex phenomena of contemporary architectural production prior to a designer’s intervention, there are few existing theoretical frameworks. Without either the descriptive or projective enablement by theory, conscientious and critical practices in architecture will have few alternatives against the tide of neoliberal city-making. In this paper, I make a pun of Speaks’s (2006) paper titled, ‘Intelligence after theory’ by arguing that while (design) intelligence is necessary, it is however not sufficient. Ethics is also needed in architecture. Through a brief restatement of a canonical debate in the critical school of architectural theory, I argue why ethics is needed in architecture, and how ethics could be further developed through theory and theorization.

In many cases of berth occupancy (BOR) level in the port can be one of the factors considering whether the services of port is busy or not. Later, the factors are evaluated including operational, technical or any other thing that makes this parameter to rise and affect the performance of the services of a port . In this study, the BOR assessment is applied by modeling the existing operation of an oil gas and terminal in Kalimantan using ARENA to fulfill fuel oil (BBM) and gas in the eastern part of Indonesia. The model considers various factors as the terminal service capacity and the input of terminal traffic such as increased cargo balance from time to time including ships and cargo traffic. To support the implementation of the terminal acceleration program, the analysis of utility usage dock and equipment loading - unloading (marine loading arms) is an essential item for giving arguments plans facility expansion due to the increasing traffic of ships and the cargo services through a strategic plan providing such as new facilities/equipments and other new managemet arrangement. As a result, the study may provide scenarios as options for the terminal operator to implement in achieving both the optimised throughput and acceptable BOR level by considering operational, technical, commercial and management strategies

Airlangga University has a helpdesk system that is tasked to help overcome the problems related to the use of information technology facilities that can be utilized by the academic community. This system is managed by the Directorate of Information System. Currenty, there are many complaints handled by the helpdesk that make it difficult to handle problems, the escalation of problem handling is still not optimal, complaint handling is not in accordance with the time set, and still miss communication between the helpdesk and the unit responsible for completing the complaint. Based on the problems, improvement analysis of the helpdesk system services is required. The service analysis of the helpdesk system will be done using the COBIT 5 and ITIL V3 framework. Data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires distributed to RACI Chart based on domains selected which is DSS01. The data is processed to obtain the level of capability (As Is) and the expected condition (To Be), then gap analysis of these two conditions to be used as the basis of the information technology governance improvement strategy in managing the helpdesk system. The improvement plan is done by combining COBIT with ITIL V3. From this research, the current capability values at level 1 and to be values at level 4, so the gap value obtained is 3. The result of the capability value analysis and gap is used to make the recommendation of continuous improvement to achieve the to be value and the governance plan on incident management based on ITIL V3 framework
