Abstract

Modern technology causes environmental problems and climate change. An eco-friendly school becomes one of the solutions to that problem in Indonesia. However, the program has not been effective for society to change their attitude and behavior. This research aims to find an appropriate solution using several steps; to analyze students’ scientific attitude and environmental knowledge; to analyze the role of teacher and parents; and to formulate an action to increase students’ scientific attitude. This descriptive qualitative research results on students’ scientific attitude that changes the behavior in daily life, measured by using a particular indicator. This needs the cooperation between teachers and parents to support changes in students’ characters

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil perancangan multimedia pembelajaran tematik Kurikulum 2013 untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV yang berkualitas dan siap untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penilaian pakar media pembelajaran, pakar desain multimedia, dan pakar pembelajaran tematik. Multimedia diujicobakan secara perorangan dan kelompok kecil untuk memperoleh respon user. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penilaian oleh pakar media pembelajaran, pakar desain multimedia, dan pakar pembelajaran tematik, menunjukkan bahwa multimedia yang dikembangkan sudah berkualifikasi baik. Hasil uji perorangan yang dilakukan oleh Guru Kelas IV SD Laboratorium Undiksha menunjukkan bahwa multimedia berkualifikasi sangat baik, dan hasil uji kelompok kecil diperoleh bahwa multimedia berkualifikasi baik. Hal itu berarti multimedia yang dikembangkan sudah siap untuk digunakan secara publik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui kualitas hasil pengembangan asesmen proyek dalam pembelajaran IPA, (2) mengetahui efektivitas asesmen proyek dalam pembelajaran IPA. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri atas lima tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Kelima tahapan model pengembangan ini, dijadikan acuan dalam memproduksi dan memvalidasi asesmen proyek yang dikembangkan. Validasi asesmen proyek dilakukan oleh satu ahli isi mata pelajaran, satu ahli desain pembelajaran, satu ahli asesmen Pembelajaran dan 29 siswa uji coba lapangan. Efektivitas asesmen proyek dilakukan oleh 29 siswa menggunakan desain penelitian pretest dan posttest. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuisioner dan tes. Dengan instrumen tes yang digunakan berupa tes objektif. Dalam analisis data, digunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial/induktif uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) kualitas hasil pengembangan asesmen menurut review ahli dan siswa yaitu: a) ahli bidang studi 96%; b) ahli desain pembelajaran 92%; c) ahli asesmen pembelajaran 94% yang semuanya tiga ahli pada kategori sangat baik serta d) uji coba lapangan 91,7% yang berada pada kategori sangat baik; 2) Efektivitas hasil pengembangan asesmen menunjukkan signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah thitung = 13,693 > ttabel =2,000. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan asesmen proyek.

Abstract

Masalah pokok yang di analisis dalam penelitian ini adalahPembelajaran  Berbasis Masalah (PBM)berbantuan kunci determinasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA, metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdapat dua pertemuan. Dari PTK tersebut di dapat hasil yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata hasil pembelajaran yaitu dari 62,89 (siklus I) menjadi 73,42 (siklus II), begitupun dengan setiap indikator pada berfikir kritis terjadi kenaikan, yaitu: indikator memberikan penjelasan dasar mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,06 (kategori rendah), indikator membangunketerampilan dasar mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,9 (kategori tinggi) dan indikator menyimpulkan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,4 (kategori sedang). Peningkatan ini di hitung berdasarkan rumus gain. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan kunci determinasi dapat meningkatkan berfikir kritis siswa SMA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the scientific character of science learning laden with props thrift and performance assessment. This type of research is research and development. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, observation and tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis percentage. The results showed that the validity of the learning pernagkat validity of the development value (Va) 4.23 which is the valid criterion (4 ≤ Va <5). Scientific character within students in science learning laden scientific character with props used items that are in good category where the average percentage of scientific character on each Class of> 70%. The average percentage of student activity is in the good category that is> 70%. Cognitive abilities of students in the class A1 of 84.44% cognitive ability and very good 13.33% of the students in the category fairly and 2.22% of students are in the poor category. In the A2 grade of 80.43% of the students have the cognitive ability and very good and the rest have the cognitive abilities in the category enough. In the A3 grade of 89.13% of the students have the cognitive ability and very good as well as the A4 grade of 93.33% of the students have the cognitive ability and very good san rest have sufficient cognitive ability.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to improve social science outcomes by using Think Pair Share (TPS) for the fourth grade in elementary school. This research is classroom action research. The procedure of this research conducted planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research was 22 students for the fourth grade in SD 20 Kalumbuk, Padang. Techniques of collecting data were using test and observation. Data analyzed by using thematic analysis. Data validated by using triangulation, member checking, and reflecivity. The students’ learning outcomes improved from 76,75% into 89,67% (very good). The result of this research shows that cooperative model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve social science outcomes for the fourth grade students of elementary school.

Abstract

Classroom learning environment has been widely researched topics in elementary and secondary education. This study aimed to investigate teachers’ experience in building classroom learning environment. This research involved a qualitative phenomenological design that employed a purposeful sample of teachers at Junior High School Classrooms in Ponorogo.  Data were collected via in depth interviews and participant observations. In analyzing the data, the writer evaluated the interview transcriptions and the observation field notes which were organized into relevant themes (Cresswell, 2009). Most of the participants suggest that there were some meanings gotten from building students center classrooms learning environment based on constructivistics paradigm. Classroom learning environment is built psychologically and socio-culturally context. Thus students can manage, interact, and achieve their learning objectives, facilitated by learning activities based on selected materials, strategies, and media

Abstract

This study aims to develop laboratory management model based on Bali local wisdom to improve quality of laboratory service. This research is the development research by adopting of research and development model in education. Limited scale trial was conducted on 50 students from the Chemistry Department of Education, Ganesha University of Education year 2016 with a class action research model of Kurt Lewin. Fifty students were comprised of 7 groups of physical chemistry practicum and 7 groups analytical chemistry practicum. The instrument of this study was observation sheets and questionnaires. Observations and questionnaires were analyzed descriptively. Results of the study are: Bali local wisdom relating to the laboratory management, a laboratory management model based on Bali local wisdom to improve quality of laboratory service, a laboratory management model was developed very effective, the model can be applied, and the student response to the laboratory management model is very positive.

Abstract

This study aimed at developing training materials for ecotourism at Sambangan village.This research was a research and development using modified Borg and Gall design (2003). There were some steps conducted in order to develop the training materials namely; need analysis, design first draft, expert judgment, revision I, field test, revision II, and final product. There were four instruments applied to obtain the research data, observation, document study, questionnaire, and interview guide. The findings were described descriptively. The results of this study found that (i) the tour guides needed tasks-based training materials that could improve their speaking skill, (ii) developed training materials based on tasks of the members of kelompok sadar wisata had been evaluated as excellent materials, (iii) The developed training materials was readable, implementable, and measurable

Abstract

It is found that some elementary school students favor to talk and behave one of the cinema, namely "Anak Jalanan". The cinema influences the children’s character, in this case in high school classes such as imitating fashion style, speech style, even hairstyles. Such kinds of imitating are still in a good control. However, there is an increasing on fear of the worst development of moral. This research is aimed at: (1) to analyze the possibility effect of cinema on behavior changing of elementary school students in Bangkinang Kota, (2) to analyze the factors causes the changing of the character, and 3) to give the information on the importance of assisting the children while watching TV. The subjects of the research were elementary school students in Bangkinang Kota, in academic year 2016/2017. The data were collected by documentation, questionnaire, and interview guide. The findings showed that cinema Anak Jalanan have significant effect on the changing of children’s character. It is highly exoected that parents play the role of assisting the children.
