Abstract

Bali is known to have the most types of wastra (traditional cloth) in Indonesia and is full of local wisdom values, one of which is Gringsing Weaving. This cloth is the only woven cloth in Indonesia that uses a double ikat weaving technique that takes a long time. The motifs and coloring are still traditional and use natural materials. Gringsing weaving has not only aesthetic value but also social and economic value. However, the departure of gringsing weaving is threatened due to the regeneration of craftsmen and competition with other relatively cheap fabric products. This research aims to analyze stakeholders' role in ensuring Tenun Gringsing's wishes, including convergence and divergence between actors. This research uses prospective analysis with MACTOR as tool analysis, where the data collection process is carried out through FGD. The respondents in the FGD are craftsmen, local figures, and the government. The identification results show that three internal and six external stakeholders are related and have an interest. Meanwhile, the objectives in context include economic, environmental, social, and cultural aspects. The results of the MACTOR analysis show that the most active actors in Gringsing Weaving tourism are traditional leaders. Tourists are stakeholders who have a value of disapproval of the goals of developing the human resources of craftsmen. Traditional leaders converge most with the Tenganan Village community and craftsmen related to Gringsing weaving. Traditional leaders have substantial differences with tourists. This further emphasizes the importance of the role of traditional leaders. This research contributes to the stakeholder scenario regarding the sustainability of Gringsing Weaving.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of gender inequality in employment on economic growth in Batam City. The associative quantitative research method is used with multiple linear regression analysis techniques to describe the relationship between variables in the study. The results show that simultaneously, labor force participation rate (LFPR), wage equality, and work progress have an influence on economic growth, where any reduction in gender inequality in employment contributes to boosting economic growth. Therefore, a collaboration between the government, private sector, and non-governmental organizations is expected to encourage the implementation of gender mainstreaming policies and programs that support gender equality in the employment sector and have the potential to make a positive contribution to economic growth.

Abstract

Our research aims to analyze the factors determining green loyalty based on a systematic literature review (SLR) according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement. We asked three research questions: The main factors that determine green loyalty, The most widely used theories in building empirical research models on green loyalty, and how often do traditional elements, such as values, image, knowledge, satisfaction, trust, practice, and quality perceived, emerges in empirical research on eco-loyalty. The SLR search of the three databases yielded 571 publications. The snowballing method produced 78 records. After removing duplicates, 330 records were obtained, and in the final stage, only 19 articles were used in the systematic literature review. Based on the analysis results, seven main factors influence green loyalty. The Social Exchange Theory is the grand theory most widely used in building research models. The implications of this research will explain how green loyalty is currently a very urgent and important topic to research, as well as make it easier for researchers to see gaps as opportunities in building research models, especially those related to green loyalty.

Abstract

Riau Province faces three social problems: poverty, stunting, and food insecurity. The public understands food waste as a threat to food security. Suppose the continuous food waste issue needs to be addressed. In that case, it will directly impact sustainable food availability due to the massive amount of wasted food that is still fit to eat and nutritionally adequate. This research aims to elaborate on the counter productiveness of food waste with a portrait of poverty, stunting, and food insecurity in Riau Province, which are interconnected. Qualitative methods are used in this research, with the data collection techniques used being interviews, questionnaires, and literature analysis. The findings reveal that food waste behavior contradicts Riau Province's efforts to address its main problems. Collaboration with related agencies is essential to raise awareness and combat food waste, ensuring it does not hinder the fight against poverty, stunting, and food insecurity in Riau Province.

Abstract

It is said that meeting the food needs of the Indonesian people is not balanced, even though the level of food productivity is high. Famine conditions demonstrate this in several areas and low levels of food security compared to other countries. This article aims to explain the forms of food injustice in Plural Society, especially in Indonesia. This article is based on the argument that forms of food injustice in Indonesia occur because food distribution does not work well. This article is qualitative research, with data collection through document review. This article shows three forms of food injustice in Indonesia: inadequate public food consumption, the absence of special regulations for food distribution, and the emergence of a food waste culture in Indonesia. The conclusion of this article shows the reasons for food injustice in Indonesia, which occurs because food distribution does not work well, so the food supply chain cannot provide justice for food to the Indonesian people. This article contributes to comprehensive and in-depth knowledge about food injustice by highlighting food distribution issues and emphasizing the formulation of food distribution policies as a solution. This article is still limited to the secondary data used. A deeper study is needed through observations and interviews with parties understanding how food injustice occurs in Indonesia.
