Abstract

Agricultural sector in agribusiness insight with its role in national economy provides some excellences that could be considered. Given the nature of agricultural products which are perishable so agroindustry role is indispensable. Mung bean is one of the most popular food in Indonesia, with the scientific name Phaseolus radiates L, which can be found in almost in every region in Indonesia. According to the large number of this agricultural commodity, the opportunity to open a business of refined products is wide open. “RONI” Industrial Pia Cake is one of the household scale businesses which produceMung Bean Pia in Palu City. This business has one product which is Mung Bean Pia, being sold around regions in Palu. This research aims to identify the amount of earned revenue, production output, and sales value received on condition of break even point. This research was conducted at Zebra 5 number 1 street, South Palu District, Palu City of “RONI” household scale business for two months which is from May to June 2016. The data used consist of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by observation and direct interviews with respondents, namely the business leaders and one of the employees, while secondary data were obtained from literature that are relevant to the purpose of the study. The results showed that revenues of Cake Pia "RONI" in May 2016 amounted to Rp 2,686,109 and acceptance of the break even point conditions gained Rp 13,692,000 from the number of products 17, 115 pieces and the total cost of  Rp 16,033,891. Keywords :  Break-even point, Income,  Industry , Pia Cake

Abstract

Indonesia known as the agricultural Nation,production agricultural products diverse, expected to support the economic growth at present and future. Necessary economic conditions balance between the field of the industry is supported by the agricultural tough. One commodity crops that are capable of supporting the establishment of several industries are green beans. Processing of green beans into the depths contents cake pia. Industry household Cake PIA Rony referred to one of the industry produce cake Pia is an example of the utilization of human resources to improve the income in home industry scale. The purpose of this study is to find out how much revenues and the level of the feasibility on the cake Pia industry household Cake PIA Rony in City. This research has been carried out in the industry household Cake PIA Rony at Jalan zebra 5 Number 1 District of South Palu,Palu city from March to April 2016. Determination of respondents using purpossive. Data used the form of data primary and secondary. Analysis of data that is used is income analysis and feasibility analysis revenue cost ratio. The results shows that revenues of Pia industry household Cake PIA Rony in the Palu Cityis  Rp.6,783,889 per month. Industry household Cake PIA Rony in the Cityof Paluis feasible with the value of R/C of 1.30. Keywords: Cake Pia, Feasibility, Income.

Abstract

Ulat daun bawang merah (Spodoptera exigua Hubn.) merupakan hama utama pada pertanaman bawang merah, yang dapat menurunkan hasil produksi, sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian yang cukup besar bagi petani. Rimpang jeringau (Acorus calamus L.) dapat berperan sebagai racun perut, racun kontak, anti-feedant dan repellent bagi serangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa konsentrasi Ekstrak Rimpang Jeringau (ERJ) terhadap mortalitas larva S. exigua. Penelitian dilaksanakandi Laboratorium Ilmu Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tadulako Palu pada bulan Juni sampai September 2016. Pengujian aktivitas insektisida ERJ dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pencelupan dan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 tingkat konsentrasi ERJ, yaitu K0: Kontrol (Tanpa Perlakuan) K1: ERJ (1,5%), K2 : ERJ (2%), K3 : ERJ (2,5%), K4 : ERJ (3%) dan K5 : ERJ (3,5%).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ERJ 3% menunjukkan aktivitas insektisida yang tertinggi. ERJ 3% menyebabkan kematian larva S. exiguainstar 3 sebesar 65,42% dan menghambat pembentukan pupa dan imago S. exigua sebesar 99,1%  Kata kunci: Acorus calamus L., Aktivitas insektisida, Ulat daun bawang merah

Abstract

Diana industry is an small busnines which has develop in palu city. Industry Diana  is engaget in agro-industrythat process agricultural commodities such as banana into dampo pisang.Industry Diana is located at.Jln Dayo Dara street, Palu central sulawesi. It sell the product at Katini street. The objective of this research was to know the total product, receiving and income from dampo pisang that the business reach break even point. The results of the analysis of break-even point dampo pisang production cost with sell on box  show  theresult as follows ; box (350 g) reaching  at 130 box which sales Rp 25,000/box. The total cost that Diana industry used was   Rp 3,250,000 and the  income form the product was Rp 3,250,000.The result of break even point analysis of banana dampok of Mica box (400 gram) reacing at 177 boxes which was sale               Rp 20,000/box. The total cost used was Rp 3,540,000,  and the income from the product was         Rp 3,540,000. Keywords: Break Even Point, Dampo Banana, Industry Diana.

Abstract

The research implemented in Mpanau Village, Sigi Biromaru, Sigi Regency. The study began from March to May 2016. The purpose of this research is to know the effect dosage of bran and corn flour on sawdust media to growth and yield of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The benefits of this research isa source of basic scientific provides information the growth and yield of white oyster mushrooms to the dosage of bran and corn flour as source of nutritious white oyster mushroom plant, In addition it is expected to be a reference for future researchers about mushrooms white oyster. The method of this study was arranged in the design of this the study using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 7 treatments as follows: D0 =  media sawdust (100%), as control, D1 = sawdust (80%), and bran (20%), D2 = mixture of sawdust media (75%), and bran (25%), D3 = mixed sawdust (70%), and bran (30%), D4 = mixture of sawdust (80%), and corn powder (20%), D5 = mixture of sawdust media (75%) and corn powder (25%), D6 = mixed sawdust (70%), and corn power (30%). The results of this study showed that the addition of dosage of bran and corn powder to each treatment of sawdust media had a very significant effect on all parameters of observation that is on the first observation parameter growing mycelium, the number of white oyster mushroom body, white fruits oyster mushroom cap dry weight of white oyster mushrooms. Treatment with 30% dosage of bran dose gave the best result to all observation parameters except on observation parameter of white oyster mushroom diameter. On the average parameter of white oyster mushroom fruits diameter the best treatment was treatment (D1) with dosage 20% of bran. Treatment by using a dosage of corn powder gives a low yield on all observation parameter. Keywords: Oyster mushrooms, Sawdust

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) analyze the form of marketing chain dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku in District Marawola Sigi, (2) analyzing the marketing margin of dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku, (3) analyze the part of the price received by producers dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku, (4) analyze the efficiency of marketing dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku. This study conductd at Jl. Kramat Jaya No. 51 District of Marawola Sigi in November to December 2015. The data used in this study using two types of data, primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is the marketing margin analysis, the analysis part of prices received by producers and marketing efficiency analysis. Results of the analysis showed that there are two chain of marketing dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku namely (1) Manufacturer  Retailers consumen (2) Manufacturers  Consumer. Marketing margin on the first chain from manufacturers to retailers Rp. 5,000 for the packaging of 150 g and Rp. 5,000 for packing 300 gr. While the second chain can not be found because no marketing margin marketing agencies involved in the marketing process. So on the first chain is the total margin of Rp. 10,000. Part of the price received by the producer seaweeds dodol UNKM Citarasaku the first chain that is 61.5% for the packaging of 150 g and 75% for the packaging of 300 g for the second part of prices received by producers seaweeds dodol both have the same value, namely 1% for both the packaging. The efficiency of the marketing chain dodol seaweed on UNKM Citarasaku on the first chain of 1.38% and a second marketing channel of 1.29%. The first marketing chain and second marketing chain is second one themost efficient marketing chain where the value is 1.29%. Keywords: Dodol Seaweed, Marketing, Producer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict the rate of erosion based on some slope in the village of Molino Petasia Eastern District of North Morowali district. The usefulness of this research can used as a source of information for the government in general and provide information about the amount of erosion potential. The research was conducted in December 2015 and February 2016. This study used directly in the field survey and soil sampling for analysis of materials in laboratorium. Then the results of the analysis processed by using the formula USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation). The results showed that the rate of erosion that occurred in PT. Agro Nusa Abadi is high, moderate to low. Erosion is highest at an inclination of 3% and 8%, while the erosion rate was at an inclination of  3% on replicates 2 and 3, the slope of 8% on repeat 1 (first) whereas the low level of erosion found on a slope of 1%. Keywords: Erosion Prediction, Palm oil and Slope

Abstract

Of 19 types of vegetables, tomato was the one that produced the largest in 2014.  The production was 10,731 tons harvested from an area of 2,137 ha.  However, it is a decrease from the production in 2011 which was 65,120 tons from an area of 5,745 (BPS, 2015). The decline in yields and productivity of tomatoes is caused by Bactocera sp. fruit fly infestation. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of various traps having different colors to capture fruit fly in tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.). This research was done in Sidera village, Sigi Biromaru sub district, Sigi regency of Central Sulawesi province, from June to August 2016. This study used a Randomized Block design (RAK) consisting of five treatments with five replicates.  The yellow trap caught most fruit flies ranging from 9.60 to 48.00 flies leading to low intensity attacks of 14% to 18% with the tomato production of 0.58-0.95 tons/ha.  The lowest number of fruit flies caught was by the transparent trap ranging  from 3.40 to 15.60flies indicating a higher intensity attacks of 20% to 36% and resulting in lower tomato production of 0.46 to 0.60 tons/ha.

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is commonly grown in cold and tropical regions. Lettuce isa seasonal plant consisting of large amount of water. This study used a Randomized Block design (RBD) in a two-factorial experiment. The EM4 was applied at two rates i.e. without EM4 (control, e0) and 5 ml/l.  The chicken manure were added at four differen rates i.e. without manure (control, p0), 5 t/ha (p1), 10 t/ha (p2) and 15 t/ha (p3).  The variables observed were plant height, leaf number, plant and root fresh weight, and plant and root dried weight and leaf area. Highest plant height, largest leaf area, largest root fresh and dried weights were found in the e0 p2 treatment.

Abstract

Control of raw materials availability has positive impact to the continuity of production and increase corporate profits, and this also function to the production of breadfruit chips by Citra Lestari, a home industry of breadfruit chip. This study aimed to determine the amount of raw material purchase breadfruit chips were the most economical, knowing the right schedule to buy raw materials to made breadfruit chip and knowing the coming schedule to purchase raw material. The results showed that the use of raw materials to produce chip per period was 4,815 breadfruits year-1 with 140,000 as booking fee and 20,000 IDR as storage cost year-1. Therefore, The most economical was to buy 108 breadfruits for each production cycle, with optimal order frequency was 8 times with lead time of raw materials for 1 week, there were about 207 breadfruits used in a week, safety stock calculated as about 108 fruits for a week if every week there are maximum 250 fruits are needed, with lead time 1 week.
