Abstract

Micro fiance is an important tool for achieving development by the Government of Indonesia in three things directly: to create jobs, increase incomes, and reduce poverty. Access to sustainable fiancial services is a prerequisite for micro entrepreneurs to improve their business and reduce the vulnerability of poor families in the life ( to calamity and economic problems), as well as to increase their income. Micro fiance is an important tool in the country’s development strategy aimed at supporting the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The national policy for micro fiance is needed to overcome the limitations of micro fiance through the creation of an enabling environment for micro fiance institutions that already exist today to expand their services and to support the establishment of micro fiance institutions to fil the gap in demand and supply of micro fiance services especially in rural areas .

Abstract

Ngebel Lake is a superior nature tourism in Ponorogo Regency. The lack of tourist attractions in this district made the local government strongly asked to increase tourism potential in the village of Ngebel. Facilities development and service improvement continue to be carried out in order to attract tourists. This study discusses the quality of service and the packaging of tourist attractions towards the decision of a visit as well as its consideration of tourist satisfaction. The number of samples used was 100 respondents taken from the number of tourists. From the data obtained from observations, documentation, direct interviews and filling out questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that there were positive and significant differences between the variables of service quality and tourist attraction packaging towards the decision of the visit and its consideration on tourist satisfaction.Telaga Ngebel merupakan tempat wisata alam unggulan di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Minimnya tempat wisata di kabupaten ini, menjadikan pemerintah daerah berupaya untuk meningkatkan potensi wisata di telaga Ngebel. Pengembangan fasilitas dan peningkatan pelayanan dilakukan demi menarik minat wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan pengemasan daya tarik wisata terhadap kepuasan wisatawan. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu deksriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 responden yang diambil dari populasi wisatawan. Adapun data diperoleh dari observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara langsung dan pengisian kuisioner. Analisis multipel regresi dilakukan untuk menentukan pengaruh independent variable terhadap dependen variable. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variable kualitas pelayanan dan pengemasan daya tarik wisata terhadap kepuasan wisatawan.

Abstract

This research discusses the ideas of a Muslim sociologist, Ibn Khaldun, on “society’s life cycles and the stage of human reasons”. The main sources of this research are the works of IbnKhaldun, especially the social history part of the Muqadimah. This research employs hermeneutics method as proposed by Garcia. The research found that, according to Ibn Khaldun, the social and political life of society is developed through several steps, which are: badui (barbaric), awakening and civic society (al-thur al bawdy, al-thur al-ghazwy, and al-thur al-hadlary). Meanwhile, the reasons of society is developed through several phases, which are: theology, metaphysics, and positive (al-‘aql al-tamyiz, al-‘aql al-tajriby and al-‘aql al-nadzary).Tulisan ini sedikit memberikan paparan pemikiran tokoh sosiologi Ibn Khaldun tentang “siklus kehidupan masyarakat dan tahapan perkembangan akal budi manusia”. Data tulisan ini murni bersumber dari teks buku Muqadimah Ibn Khaldun dalam kategori sejarah sosial. Dalam hal ini penulis mencoba menggunakan pisau analisis hermeneutika (takwil) teks yang ditulis oleh Gracia. Dari analisis ini penulis menyimpulkan bahwa: menurut Ibn Khaldun, secara sosiologis (kehidupan sosial dan politik) masyarakat berkembang melalui tahapan badui, kebangkitan dan sipil (al thûr al badwy, al thûr al ghazwy dan al thûr al ĥadlary). Sedangkan melalui akal budinya, masyarakat akan berkembang melalui fase teologi, metafisik dan positif (al ‘aql al tamyîzy, al ‘aql al tajriby dan al ‘aql al nadzary).Key words: Ibn Khaldun, social life’s cycle and stages of human reasons

Abstract

The emergence of various kinds of natural disasters in many parts of the world indicates just how nature has been corrupted and degraded. Environmental degradation that occurs has a lot of movement attracted the attention of environmentalists as well as NGOs. Concern about environmental issues today is nothing new among NGOs. A variety of environmental movement they are doing to realize a sustainable environment. Similarly, NGOs Koling which since 1999 has been struggling in Wonosobo forest management policy. Ideology of the NGO movement is a determination of how they develop strategies and activities in the struggle for environmental issues (forestry) in Wonosobo.With the sociological perspective of social movement paradigm, the research made to analyze how the paradigm of the NGO movement Koling determine the pace of movement is then presented to each program and activity does. The theory used to analyze the theoretical model with the environmental NGO movement Hayden and Mansour Fakih ideas about the paradigm of NGOs. The final results concluded that: (1) NGO environmental movement Koling is visionary in achieving management natural resources (especially the management of forest resources) based on the empowerment and social welfare, (2) the movements are more likely paradigmatic moderate/reformist despite sometimes also paradigmatic liberal/ transformative, (3) the analysis of the concept model of the environmental NGO movement Heyden, Koling more closely to the model of instrumental strategies and sub -cultural.

Abstract

This article to elaborate Progressive Islam from Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah was born 18 November 1918, it is the most popular in Indonesia contribute an Islamisation. Muhammadiyah movement can know dakwah Islam amar ma’ruf nahi munkar for community with Wasahtiyah Islam (moderate Muslim). That it is progressive Islam idea the same as with Indonesia Context. What it is portrait and process Islamic dakwah from Muhammadiyah and enlightenment it is focus this article. Method from article base on literature review, from the books, journal, and article. This is article encourage and push Islam progressive in society from early Muhammadiyah founded with dakwah bil lisan (speech) and bil amal (work). Tulisan ini hendak mengelaborasi gagasan tentang Islam Berkemajuan yang dialamatkan kepada Muhammadiyah. Sudah dikenal public bahwa Muhammdiyah yang berdiri 18 November 1918, telah berkontribusi pada perkembangan Islam Indonesia. Gerakan Muhammadiyah dikenal dalam bidang dakwah amar ma’ruf nahi munkar dengan membawa Islam washatiyyah. Islam washatiyah merupakan gagasan yang sesuai dengan pandangan Muhammadiyah dengan dakwah Islam Berkemajuan dalam konteks Islam Indonesia. Tulisan ini didasarkan atas kajian kepustakaan, baik jurnal, artikel atau pun buku yang dianalisis secara naratif. Dari kajian yang dilakukan Muhammadiyah telah memiliki gagasan Islam Berkemajuan dalam mengembangkan dakwah sejak berdirinya, kemudian dilakukan secara terus menerus dalam mengembangkan dakwah pencerahan pada umat (masyarakat) melalui dakwah bil lisan dan bil amal.

Abstract

Conflct is a social aberration (chaos), a state where people are experiencing social disintegration. Conflcts usually occur in people who are going through a transition period. Levels of conflct becomes large if the transition process was also great in all areas (revolution), in contrast to small levels of conflct when the transition process was also small, covering only a few areas only. Driving dimensions can be varied conflcts, be it a political dimension, economic, control over resources, culture, ethnicity and religion. It needs a real resolution as preventive measures (prevention) or curative (repair) in tackling the outbreak of conflct in society.

Abstract

Religious character of students in state vocational high school 1 Dukuhturi Tegal was build of Sholat Dhuha habituation. As a social control, the teachers give a pin “not allow me” to lazzy students in Sholat Dhuha habituation and also give reward mukenah for diligent students. This qualitative research using case study aimed to find out the effectiveness of social control religious character’s student in state vocational high school 1 Dukuhturi Tegal. Data validation was carried out using data source triangulation. Technique of analyzing data used integrated data resulting from the observation of Sholat Dhuha habituation, interview, and documentation from many sources to support information. The theory employed was Talcot Parsons’s Theory with AGIL Concept. The results of research showed that the students doing Sholat Dhuha is not only they afraid of the punishment but they also have a spiritual needs. Religious character habituation doing by obedient attitude in Islam, dicipline, tolerant, and honestly in aqidah subject. This habituation need supports all of school element so that the students have a good religious character.Karakter religius peserta didik SMK N 1 Dukuhturi dibina dengan membiasakan Sholat Dhuha. Sebagai kontrol sosial, Guru menerapkan hukuman berupa penempelan pin bertuliskan “jangan tiru aku” bagi yang tidak rajin melaksanakan dan pemberian penghargaan berupa mukenah bagi yang rajin melaksanakan. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kontrol sosial dalam pembinaan karakter religius peserta didik muslim SMK N 1 Dukuhturi. Validitas data diperoleh dengan cara triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori Fungsionalisme Struktural Talcott Parsons. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik melaksanakan Sholat Dhuha tidak hanya karena ada hukuman dan penghargaan tapi muncul rasa kebutuhan spiritual. Pembinaan karakter religius yang dilakukan adalah sikap dan perilaku patuh dalam melaksanakan ajaran agama Islam, disiplin, toleran, dan jujur melalui pembelajaran akidah. Pembiasaan Sholat Dhuha baru dilaksanakan dengan maksimal oleh beberapa wali kelas; Butuh dukungan dari seluruh warga sekolah agar bisa menjadi sebuah pembinaan karakter religius yang kuat. Dampaknya masih banyak peserta didik di kelas lain yang belum memiliki rasa kebutuhan spiritual.Keywords: Social Control, Religius Character, Muslims Students, State Vocational High School

Abstract

A social relation in the form of patron­client has been living for a long time in A social relation in the form of patron­client has been living for a long time in human live. No wonder if there is almost no sector or aspect of human live in the earth which is untouched by this relational pattern. For instance; agricultural, holticultural or fihing sectors are also inflenced by this patronage relation. Many experts defie that the relational pattern of patron­client as the integrated relation between individual each other or groups and individuals or other groups in which one party’s position is as a patron or a boss while the other party’s position is as a client or a staff. This relational pattern has been done by many people those who involved in it through goods or services exchanging. A patron usually has resources which are badly needed by their clients. Soon after that they exchange one another with the other goods or services they have, for instance. This relational pattern has been living though the benefi obtained is not the same. Even it tends to make a party’s position as a patron that gets benefi more than it’s client. This writing discusses about the pattern and the form of patron­client relation in managing rubber holticultural in Rantau Limau Manis Village, Jambi. Also discusses the determining factors of the continuing patron­client relation in managing rubber agricultural in this village. From this discussion the writer gets the fact that a patron client relation in managing the rubber agricultural in this village is performed by exchanging resources from the owner of the garden of rubber holticultural with the rubber wiretapping services from the rubber wiretapper. This relational pattern has been living until they get the benefi respectively, both material and non­material. Though from the outside perspective, this is unbalance, but people those who involved expecially the clients, in this business are not aware. Even they get more benefi from this. However, the writer fids the fact that there are four factors become­­ the determiner of the continuing of this relational pattern; the limiting of alternative jobs, the expensive of rubber price, the applying of paternalistic feudal system in the society and the mastering of rubber holticultural from certain people. These four determining factors are related each other so that the relational pattern of patronage have been still standing and developing in the society until now.

Abstract

Diversity is the reality of Indonesian life, whether ethnically, linguistically, culturally, or religiously. In that context, examining the diversity of Balinese society is certainly very interesting considering it is not just a "reality", but also a necessity and a need. Thus, the pockets of community diversity become an important benchmark because it is like a seeding ground for pluralism and the articulative medium of community experimentation in addressing differences. This is where the attractive village of Loloan Jembrana as a village that is predominantly Muslim in the midst of strong Hindu influence. This village can be a picture of a plural-culturally religious community life. The village has a historical uniqueness and local wisdom that has managed to glue the knot of interfaith togetherness.Keragaman adalah realitas kehidupan bangsa Indonesia, baik secara etnis, bahasa, budaya, ataupun agama. Dalam konteks itu, menelisik keragaman masyarakat Bali tentu sangat menarik mengingat ia tidak sekedar sebuah “kenyataan”, melainkan juga sebuah kemestian dan kebutuhan. Dengan demikian, kantong keragaman masyarakat menjadi tolok ukur penting karena ia ibarat tempat penyemaian benih pluralisme dan medium artikulatif eksperimentasi masyarakat dalam menyikapi perbedaan. Di sinilah menariknya Kampung Loloan Jembrana sebagai sebuah desa yang mayoritas penduduknya Muslim di tengah kuatnya pengaruh Hindu. Kampung ini bisa menjadi gambaran kehidupan masyarakat yang plural secara kultur-keagamaan. Kampung itu memiliki keunikan historis dan kearifan lokal yang selama ini berhasil merekat simpul kebersamaan lintas iman.

Abstract

Community development is a process of directing people toward a stage or condition which society becomes more competent to ptroblems and conditions of the community and environment. The increasing competence of community members is expected to generate development activities based on their own initiative. In the current context, community development are most in based on religious and cultural values, including local wisdome, in order to ovver come various problems within society. Relevant studies of community development should in line with higher educatin institutions throght the implementation of “Tridharma PT”, which consist of : education, research and service. Moreever, within this milleneal era, community development has significant influence on education, politics, economics, social, as well as on culturePengembangan masyarakat proses bergerak ke arah suatu tahap atau kondisi di mana masyarakat menjadi semakin kompeten terhadap permasalahan dan kondisi komunitas maupun lingkungannya. Kompetensi masyarakat yang semakin meningkat ini diharapkan dapat menimbulkan aktivitas pembangunan atas prakarsa masyarakat (komunitas) sendiri. Pengembangan masyarakat juga sebagai gerakan, yang berusaha melakukan reformasi terhadap kondisi yang dianggap kurang menguntungkan. Dalam konteks saat ini tentu pengembangan masyarakat (community development) didasarkan pada nilai-nilai agama, budaya dan kearifan masyarakat lokal menuju kemajuan dan kesempurnaan dalam menjawab permasalahan-permasalahan yang muncul di era globalisasi. Kajian yang relevan dalam community development adalah kajian pengembangan masyarakat yang sejalan dengan peran lembaga Perguruan Tinggi yaitu memfungsikan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi yang terdiri pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Orientasi tersebut tentu menjadi harapan apabila dilaksanakan secara sungguh-sungguh. Faktor lain, spesifikasi keilmuan sebagai besis intelektual dan keahlihan pengembangan masyarakat mendapat tempat penting dan strategis di era mellineum saat ini baik dari segi pendidikan, politik, ekonomi, sosial maupun budaya.
