Abstract

Tourism has become a significant driver of global economic dynamics, including in Indonesia. This sector acts as a catalyst for economic growth through job creation, foreign exchange earnings, and the revitalization of local culture. However, like other sectors, tourism faces challenges that require adaptation. The COVID-19 pandemic was one of the biggest challenges, causing prolonged stagnation, the closure of tourist destinations, and a drastic decline in tourist numbers. Post-pandemic, there has been a strong push not only to recover tourism but also to reconstruct it with more sustainable and resilient approaches. In Indonesia, there is growing attention towards sustainable tourism development, in line with global commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One notable example is the development of tourist villages that not only rely on natural and cultural attractions but also emphasize local community empowerment, environmental preservation, and cultural heritage protection. This study focuses on Desa Wisata Antap, a tourism village in Bali with considerable potential that has yet to be optimally utilized. The research aims to identify internal and external conditions affecting the sustainability of tourism in Desa Wisata Antap and provide strategic alternatives for sustainable tourism development. A qualitative approach using SWOT analysis was employed to explore existing conditions, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The findings highlight the importance of active stakeholder involvement and the need for integrated management strategies that balance economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The proposed strategies emphasize collaboration, digital marketing, and capacity building to ensure the long-term sustainability of the destination.

Abstract

This research explores the factors that affect tourist satisfaction in halal tourism, with a particular emphasis on Banten Province. The results indicate that although halal accommodations are necessary, they are seen more as a fundamental requirement than a significant driver of satisfaction. Conversely, the presence and quality of halal facilities and services are key to elevating the overall tourist experience. Additionally, the attitudes and behaviors of residents, as well as the destination's ability to provide a break from daily life, greatly influence tourist satisfaction. Religiosity stands out as a crucial moderating factor, enhancing the positive impact of halal accommodations and facilities on satisfaction. For tourists with strong religious beliefs, the adherence of services to Islamic principles is vital. This study highlights the importance of incorporating religiosity into the development and marketing of tourism products to maximize the potential of halal tourism, especially in areas like Banten Province. By focusing on comprehensive travel experiences that address both spiritual and practical needs, destinations can increase tourist satisfaction, foster loyalty, and encourage positive word-of-mouth, thereby supporting sustainable growth in the halal tourism industry.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the beliefs of millennial domestic tourists regarding their intention to stay at an environmentally friendly hotel. The millennial generation is known as a group that has high sensitivity to social and environmental issues. Tourists' belief in environmentally friendly hotels is the belief that the hotel consistently implements policies and actions oriented towards environmental preservation, such as efficient resource management and reducing negative impacts on the environment. Consumer belief includes their perception of a hotel's commitment to implementing real sustainable practices and not just green marketing efforts. Intention to stay at an eco-friendly hotel is influenced not only by individual preferences, but also by the extent to which tourists believe that the hotel can meet their expectations. This research focuses on domestic tourists from the millennial generation, consisting of 100 respondents. Next, the data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this research show that millennial generation domestic tourists believe that environmentally friendly hotels have high value and quality and have sustainable benefits. The intention of domestic tourists from the millennial generation is also very high. This means that high intention shows a sense of concern for environmentally friendly hotels that support sustainability and benefit the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direction of sustainable tourism development models for natural and artificial tourist attractions in South Sulawesi, focusing on tourist orientation and their interest in revisiting. The approach used is the quantitative Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and qualitative methods through surveys and interviews. A total of 145 tourist respondents were involved to measure their priorities in choosing tourist destinations. The research results show that tourists' orientation priorities are dominated by the desire to overcome boredom, followed by the search for new experiences, the need for healing, and knowledge. Natural tourism, particularly beaches and mountains in Bulukumba, Tana Toraja, Gowa, Maros, and Pangkep, is the respondents' top choice. Additionally, tourist attractions are the main factor influencing tourists' interest in revisiting, followed by service quality, facilities, and accessibility. This study recommends that destination managers focus more on developing sustainable natural tourism and improving services and facilities to attract tourists' revisits.

Abstract

Copywriting is a technique for writing content in digital media that is widely used practically in increasing conversion rates. This study aims to evaluate the Pandanrejo Tourism Village website as an information base for formulating conversion rate optimization (CRO) at a later stage. This study uses a qualitative approach with several collection methods, namely by conducting interviews with website managers, copywriting experts and website-based information system experts, making direct observations of the Pandanrejo’s website, and reviewing the literature. To produce valid information and results, the data was analyzed by confirming between informants and references to the literature. The results obtained from this study indicate that the Pandanrejo Tourism Village website content does not yet have a touch of copywriting elements through the AIDA formula.
