Abstract

The stages of the process of Genetic Algorithm (GA), are: Encoding Genotype and Chromosome; Set Initialization Population; Evaluation Fitness Function; and Selection Process as well as in the later stages Cross Over Process and Mutation. Outputs from the tests performed in this study can be obtained by comparing the Genes of the "Child" (condition data traffic on the UMTS Hybrid - 802.11g network after the GA) against Gen "Holding" (traffic data before the GA process). The research was conducted by calculating the environmental factors, namely: The scheme Two - Ray Model Propagation and Overlapping Channel Interference Factor, the Doppler Effect be ignored because the User Equipment (UE) is considered not to shift significant arenas on the IEEE 802.11g networks. The results of the research is as follows: In the process of cross over, there is a significant change in the bandwidth, data traffic capacity and Power parameter changes by 9 MHz,  36 MB, and 40 dBm. In the process of mutation, there is a significant change in the  bandwidth, data traffic capacity, and Power  parameter by 17 MHz, 32 MB, and 20 dBm.

Abstract

Research about sound processing by computer using fuzzy logic has been known since 1970. One of approach logic fuzzy method is fuzzy mamdani method. Fuzzy mamdani method is the method to give conclusion from groupof rules of fuzzy. There have to be minimum of two rules, input rule and output rule. Sound processing in canaries bierd’s chirp quality can be explained as measurement standar for canary’s bird’s chirp to the point of song variant and volume. The background of this research is to create a sound identification system that uses dynamic data, the pattern of canary’s bird’s chirp obtained from dynamic data.Dynamic data is difficult to approach with certain formulas. The purpose of this research is to create indentification system to measure Canaries bird’s chirp quality pre-contest. The method used in this research was statistic analysis, sound analysis and fuzzy Mamdani method. Statistic analysis was used to look for important features from Canarie’s chirp sample. This analysis results Max amplitude variable, Min amplitude variable, Root-mean square. Then sound analysis results Autocorrelation time, Zero cross and Energy. Then those values were used as the input in fuzzy Mamdani method process. As for the output variables were the judges score result about the quality of bird’ chirp. The results from identification system of bird’s chirp quality from 6 samples are (1). Accuration level 81,67%. (2) Error sytemrate 18,33%. (3). Based on system performance and error rate that have been known can be concluded that the system can indentifyCanarie’s chirp quality well.

Abstract

Many images are spread in the virtual world of social media. With the many editing software that allows so there is no doubt that many forgery images. By forensic the image using Error Level Analysis to find out the compression ratio between the original image and the fake image, because the original image compression and fake images are different. In addition to knowing whether the image is genuine or fake can analyze the metadata of the image, but the possibility of metadata can be changed. In this case the authors apply Deep Learning to recognize images of manipulations through the dataset of a fake image and original images via Error Level Analysis on each image and supporting parameters for error rate analysis. The result of our experiment is that we get the best accuracy of training 92.2% and 88.46% validation by going through 100 epoch.

Abstract

This paper observes the exploration of Genetic Network Programming Two-Stage Reinforcement Learning for mobile robot navigation. The proposed method aims to observe its exploration when inexperienced environments used in the implementation. In order to deal with this situation, individuals are trained firstly in the training phase, that is, they learn the environment with ϵ-greedy policy and learning rate α parameters. Here, two cases are studied, i.e., case A for low exploration and case B for high exploration. In the implementation, the individuals implemented to get experience and learn a new environment on-line. Then, the performance of learning processes are observed due to the environmental changes.

Abstract

This work proposes a new reconfigurable printed monopole antenna for IoT devices working with the promising wireless technology Wi-Fi 6. Based on effective resonant length value, the antenna has the ability to reconfigure its operating band between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ISM bands. Therefore, the designed antenna works as an RF band-pass filter which reduces receiver complexity and supports network scalability. One PIN diode with complete biasing circuit is integrated to the antenna radiator to obtain re-configurability. Furthermore, two stubs are added to the antenna structure in order to suppress harmonic component which appears near to the higher band (5 GHz) when antenna forced to work at the lower band (2.4 GHz). The design built over commercially available FR-4 substrate with a compact size of (33.5x16x1.6) mm3. CST software is used to simulate antenna performance in terms of flection coefficient, radiation pattern, efficiency, and gain.

Abstract

Fifth generation (5G) mobile communication is expected to be deployed in several countries by 2020. Where, the data consumptions are expected to be increased to 30% thus, it cannot be supported by the present technologies 3G and 4G. In contrast, looking for new alternative modulation techniques of orthogonal frequency division modulation (OFDM) system which is suffering from high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and out of band (OOB) side lobes are needed to use in 5G communication system. Hence, Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier (UFMC) is considered as alternative waveform to overcome of OFDM disadvantages. In communication systems, channel coding is considered vital part, where error correction codes (ECC) are used to detect and correct the errors which is occurring in channel noise. In this paper, RS codes are suggested with UFMC system to achieve the reliability of information transmission over noisy channels. The results showed that although, the values of PAPR levels for using RS codes in UFMC increased to 8.8653dB against 6.9735 dB for OFDM system. However, there are significant improvements in BER performance owing to use RS codes against uncoded-UFMC system. Furthermore, the values of OOB in UFMC system was lower than OFDM system.

Abstract

Of late, Network Security Research is taking center stage given the vulnerability of computing ecosystem with networking systems increasingly falling to hackers. On the network security canvas, Intrusion detection system (IDS) is an essential tool used for timely detection of cyber-attacks. A designated set of reliable safety has been put in place to check any severe damage to the network and the user base. Machine learning (ML) is being frequently used to detect intrusion owing to their understanding of intrusion detection systems in minimizing security threats. However, several single classifiers have their limitation and pose challenges to the development of effective IDS. In this backdrop, an ensemble approach has been proposed in current work to tackle the issues of single classifiers and accordingly, a highly scalable and constructive majority voting-based ensemble model was proposed which can be employed in real-time for successfully scrutinizing the network traffic to proactively warn about the possibility of attacks. By taking into consideration the properties of existing machine learning algorithms, an effective model was developed and accordingly, an accuracy of 99%, 97.2%, 97.2%, and 93.2% were obtained for DoS, Probe, R2L, and U2R attacks and thus, the proposed model is effective for identifying intrusion.

Abstract

A self balancing robot (SBR) controller needs to detect platform inclination. For this purpose, an accelerometer is used. From various types of accelerometer, we can divide into digital and analog ones. The problem is how to select the right type for the SBR. This paper evaluates the performance of the ADXL345, 3-axis digital output accelerometer and the MMA7260QT, 3-axis analog output accelerometer. The Arduino is used to read data from the sensor and send it to PC for plotting. Both sensors use the lowest sensitivity. The sensors are evaluated with three criteria, i.e. stationary, dynamical response and collaborating with ITG3200 3-axis gyroscope for Kalman filter fusion. For stationary criterion, the ADXL345 is better than the other sensor for all stationary position. For dynamical response, both sensors suffer from the noise due to acceleration of the platform. The sensors do not only sense the gravity but also the acceleration of the platform when it is moved. But the noise level for the ADXL345 is lower than the other. Using Kalman filter makes both sensors show good performance for a SBR application. If three criteria are combined with hardware aspect, then the authors recommend using the ADXL345. Besides, it has several useful features to handle abrupt acceleration.
