Indonesia is a country with diverse cultural backgrounds, so intercultural interactions often occur. This research aims to adapt the Cultural Quotient Scale developed by Ang and Van Dyne (2008) into Indonesian to support various research on cultural intelligence. The CQS measuring tool consists of 20 statement items and is divided into 4-factors, namely metacognitive, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral. Testing was carried out using the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) methods involving 324 Satya Wacana Christian University students who were divided into 2 random sample groups (EFA, n=162 & CFA, n=162). The results of this research indicate that the 4-factor structure of the 17 items of the Indonesian version of the CQS statement has a "good fit" psychometric property model. This means that the Indonesian adaptation of CQS can be used in various related research. It is hoped that future research will be able to test the convergent validity of the adaptation of this measuring instrument.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as obesity have increased from 14.8% to 21.8% since 2018. One of the causes of this rise in obesity is individuals taking larger portions than their ideal size. It is suspected that knowledge of environmentally friendly foods influences portion size, thereby impacting the environment. Besides knowledge of environmentally friendly foods, hunger is also predicted to play a significant role in determining portion size. Therefore, research is needed on the influence of knowledge of environmentally friendly foods and hunger on portion size. The researchers aim to investigate further the influence of knowledge of environmentally friendly foods and hunger on portion size from a gender perspective. This study uses a quasi-experimental design method with 123 participants. Data analysis uses a generalized linear model. The results of this study indicate that the interaction between gender, knowledge of environmentally friendly foods, and hunger affects portion size (p= .008), the interaction between gender and knowledge of environmentally friendly foods affects portion size (p=.005), the interaction between gender and hunger affects portion size (p=.013), and gender has a positive and significant effect on portion size (p=.012). Future research can review personal factors such as behavioral intentions, values, and attitudes. In addition, considering that portion size is an external factor that can be modified, it is necessary to educate the public about appropriate and more environmentally friendly portion sizes.

The closure of Dolly's localization did not eradicate the stigma attached to women who are former sex workers. Discussion around the issue of women sex workers often focused on discrimination and violence. However, it paid little attention to the challenges of individuals struggling to achieve autonomy and human rights after leaving prostitution. The research aims to understand how former sex workers navigate stigma and reclaim their autonomy and human rights after the closure of Dolly's localization. Ten women identified needs, aspirations, concerns, and issues related to their lives, using Standpoint Feminism Theory to position them as authorities on their experiences. The research voices the three themes: (1) public and self-stigma, (2) positive motherhood narratives in combating stigma, and (3) strategies in responding to stigma. The photovoice method empowers participants to tell their stories directly and accurately, fostering a participatory knowledge process between researchers and participants. The study contributes to expanding the discussion on the reintegration of women affected by post-prostitution, filling gaps in existing literature on empowerment and stigma reduction strategies.

Mental health issues are increasingly considered necessary by society. However, if it is not balanced with mental health literacy, individuals with mental disorders will find it difficult to heal and the stigma will be challenging to reduce. An intervention must be used to improve mental health literacy in the community. This study aims to discover mental health literacy interventions in various settings and recommendations for further research. This study was conducted using the scooping review method using the PRISMA-ScR guide. Ten studies were found from the SCOPUS, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink databases. The results of the analysis found that various mental health literacy interventions were proven effective and could be implemented in school, community, worker, and family settings. Recommendations for further research are discussed in this study.

The pandemic significantly affected the health and well-being of elders, especially in disadvantaged communities. This study examines the physical mobility and well-being of elders aged 60-80 in Samar, Philippines. A descriptive research design was used to survey forty (40) voluntarily participating members of the Senior Citizens’ Organization. Physical mobility in both indoor and outdoor activities was assessed, with well-being self-reported by participants. Results showed a high percentage engaged in stretching and walking exercises, while the majority had irregular sleep patterns. However, many did not engage in household chores, market visits, or entrepreneurial activities. The study recommends establishing targeted educational and community-centric intervention programs among Local Government Units (LGUs) to enhance the physical health, cognitive functioning, and overall well-being of elders.

Research shows that hooking up is now part of college life, as young adulthood is where individuals explore. However, most studies tackling hookup culture are Western-centered. This research aims to study hookup culture in Manila universities, describe their possible consequences, determine perceptions, motivations, and affective responses of students who engage in hookups, and provide measures for safe sexual practices. Through narrative research, three males and three females, who were at least 18 years old, Manila college students, and experienced the culture, were interviewed. Narratives’ analysis found that students share a common understanding of what a hookup is, factors why they engage in hookup culture were determined, and they experienced emotional ambivalence following a hookup. It is recommended to provide comprehensive sexuality education, safe spaces for students to have open discussions, and competent mental health providers. Future research is needed to address the impacts of technology in spreading hookup culture.

Dissatisfaction in a relationship leads to both emotional and social loneliness. The emergence of loneliness stems from a mismatch between the quality of the relationship and expectations. A study was conducted to evaluate the validation of the Short Form Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale for Adults (SELSA-S) Bahasa Indonesian version, based on internal structure and its relationship with other variables. Using secondary data from 155 active students, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) grouped 14 SELSA-S items. The grouping of social, romantic, and family dimensions in the Indonesian SELSA-S aligned with the initial design and the validity of SELSA-S in Brazil, Slovakia, and Turkey. All dimensions correlated significantly with the neuroticism variable, indicating that loneliness is positively associated with anxiety, depression, and emotional instability. The validation was supported by consistent reliability tests, confirming that the Indonesian version of SELSA-S is reliable in accurately measuring loneliness.

The increasing cases of sexual harassment, particularly among teenagers, have become a critical issue that requires immediate attention. One preventive effort is enhancing assertiveness skills, which can be improved through informational services provided by guidance and counseling teachers. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of informational services based on sumbang duo baleh using a contextual learning approach to enhance students' assertive behavior in preventing sexual harassment. The research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a time-series design. The sample was randomly selected, involving one class as the experimental group, consisting of 29 female students of Minangkabau ethnicity. Data were collected using a scale measuring students' assertive behavior in preventing sexual harassment, administered as a pretest and posttest. The results show that informational services based on sumbang duo baleh with a contextual learning approach are moderately effective in improving students' assertive behavior, with an N-Gain score of 54.5% (0.5450). The percentage of students' assertive behavior increased by 12.89%, from 59.54% in the pretest to 76.61% in the posttest. Furthermore, the average score improved from 111.75 in the pretest to 176.2 in the posttest. These findings indicate that informational services based on sumbang duo baleh can serve as an effective approach to enhancing students' assertiveness as a preventive measure against sexual harassment.

The issue of students' lack of discipline in public schools remains a major challenge in educational institutions. When disciplinary issues such as tardiness, failure to complete homework, skipping classes, and truancy are left unaddressed, they can disrupt the learning process and directly impact students' academic performance. This study aims to analyze the improvement of learning discipline among vocational high school students (SMKN) using behavioristic group counseling with self-management techniques to enhance student discipline. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 195 students, from which 10 students were selected for the experimental group and 10 students for the control group, all of whom exhibited low levels of learning discipline. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data analysis techniques included the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2 Independent Samples test. The findings revealed that group counseling services using a behavioristic 1approach with self-management techniques effectively improved students' learning discipline. These results provide practical implications for school counselors in delivering guidance and counseling services, particularly group counseling services, using a behavioristic approach with self-management techniques to systematically improve students' learning discipline.
