Abstract

This study aims to test several Krueger models that have not been carried out by Esfandiar. In this model, the variable perceived feasibility is a mediator but Esfandiar did not test the variable so that the feasibility variable was used as a mediator in this research update. Data was collected using an online questionnaire (Google Form) which was given directly to undergraduate students at Sebelas Maret University. The research method used is PLS with questionnaire analysis using WarpPLS version 7.0. The results show that the mediation of feasibility perception plays a partial role in entrepreneurial intentions, meaning that students' perceptions of eligibility will directly influence entrepreneurial desires to become entrepreneurs. When students feel that the entrepreneurial profession is worthy of student perceptions, it will arouse students' entrepreneurial desires. In addition, when students see the entrepreneurial profession as feasible, it will increase students' self-efficacy and collective-efficacy which in turn can generate entrepreneurial desires.

Abstract

The development of Financial Institutions including Financial Technology (Fintech) in providing loans to borrowers is increasingly important in the current business financing system. This study aims to determine the perceptions of borrowers by exploring their views on lending practices pro- vided by financial institutions and fintech and identifying the factors that influence the institution’s decision to provide loans to them. This study uses a qualitative research method by asking a number of questions to debtors in one of the Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) commu- nities in the city of Bandung, Indonesia. The questionnaire form is in the form of open-ended ques- tions and is distributed to 47 MSMEs in the city with various types of business fields. The results show that the factors that influence the success of borrowers in obtaining credit from both financial institutions and fintech are the factors classified as 5 Cs of credit in terms of Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Conditions. All these factors are summarized as soft information and hard information, which are applied by financial institutions and financial technology institutions.

Abstract

The study tested the heterogeneity and asymmetry of adjustment speed between groups of analyzes formed based on the interaction between the direction and distance of deviation from target leverage using two-step partial adjustment model. The results show speed adjustment differences among the analysis groups and the asymmetry of the speed of adjustment where the group deviated far above the target has the highest speed of adjustment and the group deviated near below the target of leverage has the lowest adjustment speed. The group of companies deviated far above the target bear the greatest deviation costs while companies in the group diverged near below the target bear the smallest deviation costs. This result is consistent with expectations that companies bearing the highest deviation costs have the greatest pressure to immediately return to the target leverage so that the speed of adjustment will be high, while companies bearing lower deviation costs do not have greater pressure to immediately return to the target leverage so that the speed adjustment towards the target will be lower.

Abstract

This review aimed to discuss current literatures of Knowledge Management (KM) role in employee performance. This paper reviewed articles about the effect of KM on performance from several dif- ferent countries. The result of the study shows that all article reviewed have the same same conclusion that there is a positive relationship between KM and employee performance. The important findings suggest that KM is a major indirect factor of organizational performance. Also, KM occupies an impor- tant role in forming an effective platform for learning organizations. However, how knowledge man- agement influences competitive advantage such as knowledge, behavior, attitude, and its influence on performance had not attract the attention of researchers. This study suggests future studies to include intervening variables such as competitive advantage, knowledge, behavior, and attitude, to gain a deeper understanding of knowledge management’s role in improving employee performance..

Abstract

Protean careers are understood and measured using different concepts. Apart from being confusing, it also causes divergences that result in limited operationalization of the protean career. O This study aims to develop a more comprehensive tool for measuring protean careers by examining the nomological network of ‘new’ protean career attitudes. Researchers added a measure of the affective component of love for work, in addition to dimensions driven by self-values and self-directed behavior. The results of the construct validity test through a nomological network involving 160 respondents showed two critical points. First, on the relationship between the dimensions, the dimensions of love for work and self-direction behavior are related to the harmonious passion variable and the proactive work behavior of career initiatives and personal initiatives. Second, the relationship within the dimension shows that the dimensions of love for work, driven by self-values, and self-directed behavior are interrelated. Additional validity tests, such as convergent, discriminant, and predictive validity tests, indicate that the question items are valid. Future research needs to pay more attention to the affective dimensions of love for work and harmonious passion.e.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of human resource management practices, knowl- edge management, and talent management on organizational performance by mediating organization- al culture in the mining industry. The design used in this research is hypothesis testing using structural equation modeling. The population of respondents in this study were employees at the management level of mining companies in East Kalimantan Province. The sample collection of respondents is car- ried out proportionally to company employees based on production capacity per year with purposive sampling method, where the number of samples that meet the criteria for analysis is from 127 employ- ees of coal mining companies taken from 10 existing companies. From the research results, there are three direct relationship hypotheses that are accepted and four hypotheses are rejected. Organizational culture as a full mediation of the relationship between HRM practice and talent management on or- ganizational performance, while only as a partial mediation on the relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance. Future research can focus on social and environmental issues in the mining industry in Indonesia or other countries.

Abstract

The decision to buy savings products at BRI is interesting to be raised in the research because, on the one hand, BRI is a bank that has a network of work units in remote areas of Indonesia so that it can serve the wider community, on the one hand, there are still many customers who complain about its services to BRI. This paper address the role of service quality, price perception, brand image, and purchase decision to banking products moderated by Information Technology. Data is collected through a questionnaire survey. This study employs purposive sampling to obtain respondents (n = 110), with the criteria, customers of the Britama account holder. Data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) to get research results. Based on the results of confirmatory analysis and hypothesis testing, there is a strong relationship between the independent variables tested on the Purchase Decision of Britama Savings Products at BRI. Meanwhile, Information Technology moderated service quality shows a strong relationship. Price Perception with Information Technology moderation shows a weak relationship. Information Technology moderated Brand Image has no relationship with the purchase decision.

Abstract

The movement of the net asset value (NAV) of mutual fund products (MFP) whether high or low in the Covid-19 pandemic conditions in 2020. With the support of the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS), this study intends to predict the rate of return on mutual fund investment (MFI) providing a choice of the average demand for return on mutual funds (MFR) that investors need. Analysis of the prediction of NAV movements and the rate of return on MFI in 55 MFP with a trial frequency of 48 times, we get an estimate of the average demand for MFR of 37 out of 100 cumulative numbers of probability distributions. The result is 77.08 percent, and an estimated average MFR in Indonesia during the 2020 Covid-19, the simulation got was IDR 421,954. The contribution resulted in a vital discovery of NAV in Indonesia in response to the economic recession affected by Covid-19..

Abstract

Management research is critical to the advancement of management studies and practice in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to explore the landscape of management research in Indonesia. This study uses a bibliometric approach with data collected from the international academic database. In our analysis, among others, we refer to the classical categorization of business functions and macro clusters or special interest groups from leading management associations. The study results show that the management research landscape in Indonesia can be grouped into six categories, namely ‘operations management’, ‘financial management, ‘marketing management’, ‘human resource management, ‘strategy and entre- preneurship’, and ‘performance and governance’. This is the first study that explores the management research landscape in the Indonesian context..
