Abstract

Sebagai tenaga profesional, guru harus merencanakan, melaksanakan, menilai pembelajaran, membimbing dan melatih peserta didik, serta melaksanakan tugas tambahan. Tujuan penelitian adalah memotret jenis pembalajaran dalam tim  yang diimplentasikan para guru, mendeskripsikan perencanaan yang seharusnya disiapkan para guru, merumuskan keuntungan dan kekurangan pembelajaran dalam tim yang dirasakan para guru dan para siswa, mendeskripsikan hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan para guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam tim. Pendekatan penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan unit analisis para kepala/wakil kepala sekolah, dan para guru  SMP, SMA, dan SMK Kota Semarang dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 orang yang ditarik secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam secara terbatas. Data terkumpul dianalisis dengan memadukan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Studi ini menunjukan bahwa pembalajaran dalam tim telah banyak diimplentasikan dengan bentuk yang bervariasi: tradisional, kolaboratif,  bimbingan/dorongan, paralel, pemisahan/perbedaan kelas, pengawasan, kelompok anggota, perbedaan sub-kelompok, dan perencanaan individual. Manfaat yang dirasakan oleh para guru adalah saling mengisi materi, saling menutup  kelemahan, menanggulangi pembelajaran yang luas dan kompleks, meningkatkan kerjasama, dan memberi peluang kepada para guru muda bertim dengan guru senior. Aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan adalah pemilikan rasa saling mempercayai, mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif, saling memberi dan menerima, bersikap terbuka, jaminan ketuntasan belajar, dominasi salah seorang tim, penyatuan gagasan/ide, materi kurang fokus, masih ada rasa egois seseorang,dan kurangnya saling percaya diri. Teachers, as professionals, have to plan, implement, and assess learning. Teachers have also to mentor, train students, and perform additional duties as well. One of many ways that can be taken to accomplish the jobs is implementing team teaching. The objectives of the research were to describe the implementation, the planning, and the advantages and disadvantages of team teaching. The study was also aimed for describing the aspects that must be observed by teachers in implementing team teaching.  The study was descriptive with the unit of analysis of principals/vice principals and teachers of junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational high schools of Semarang (84 people, randomly sampled). The data were collected through a questionnaire, documentation, and limited in-depth interview. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The study showed that team teaching was implemented in various forms: traditional, collaborative, mentoring, parallel instruction, splitting class, monitoring, team members, sub-team difference, and individual plans. The benefits perceived by teachers were that team teaching compensated learning materials, compensated each others’ weakness, tackled a broad and complex learning, enhanced cooperation, and gave opportunities to young teachers to work with the senior ones. The important aspect that must be considered was the feeling of mutual trust, ability to communicate effectively, give and take, being open, learning mastery guarantee, the dominance of an individual team member, collaborative ideas, less focused material, egoistic feeling, and lack of self confidence.

Abstract

A loyalty is needed for the survival of study program or department in a highereducation as a service industry. The loyalty of students can give a positiverecommendation to other parties to motivate prospective customers to use the service.It is more effective as a means of promotion and reduces the marketing cost. Theobjective of the study is to describe the students’ loyalty to the Department of ServiceProduction Technology of the Faculty of Engineering of Semarang State University.The research is descriptive. The subjects of the research were students of Departmentof Service Production Technology of the Faculty of Engineering of Semarang StateUniversity. The students are undergraduate students majoring in Family WelfareEducation concentrating on Fashion and Culinary. Another group of students wereDiploma Tree students of Service Production Technology concentrating on Fashionand Culinary. The number of the sample was 150 determined by iteration formula.The data were collected with a questionnaire and analyzed with descriptivepercentage. The result showed that 76% was moderately loyal, 22% highly loyal, andonly 2% were not loyal. Based on the result of the research, it is suggested that theDepartment improve moderately loyal students into highly loyal through a betterservice such as: building, practicum tools, empathy, and awareness.Kata kunci: loyalitas, mahasiswa, jasa pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi cara belajar mahasiswa dengan hasil belajar yang di dapatkan mahasiswa dalam belajar selama satu semester. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang  menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan ex post facto. Dalam penelitian  ini, tips cara belajar mandiri sudah efektif karena tingkat keberhasilan sudah tercapai dan mahasiswa lebih termotivasi dalam belajar. Keefektifan cara dan gaya belajar yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah keberhasilan tentang suatu usaha dari sistem yang dirancang untuk melibatkan mahasiswa secara aktif, dan mandiri dalam mata kuliah pengantar teknologi pendidikan Hasil uji-r menyatakan bahwa ada  korelasi yang positif antara cara belajar dengan hasil belajar yang di dapat mahasiswa.This research aims to determine how students' learning results obtained by students in studying for one semester. This research, tips on how to self learning have been effective because the rate of success has been reached and the students are more motivated to learn. The effectiveness of ways and styles of learning are referred to in this research is the success of business system that is designed to engage students actively and independently in the course of introduction of educational technology test result-r stated that there is a positive correlation between learning with learning outcomes obtained by student.

Abstract

Research was carried out in the Settlement Geography Class, started on September 1 to September 22, 2008 (4 periods). The subject of the research was all 2007/2008 students, participants of the Settlement Geography Class (Population Research). The problem was that their quality in mapping and site plan projects was poor. The purpose of the research: students are able to do mapping and site plan projects individually, have expertise in mapping the patterns and distribution of settlements around them and other places, and able to communicate their project in the class discussion forum. The method used in this research was classroom action research model Kemmis Mc. Taggart; input, process and output variables. Qualitative data was gathered using questionnaires and observation. Indicator of the success is the increase in students’ understanding individually and in group. Comprehensive analysis is from the first cycle to the second cycle (the last). First cycle found that students did not do the projects seriously. Reflection of the first cycle, more focus on areas, showed an improvement although not a significant one. Each group was then analyzed and showed that the best group scored 7.33. The mapping and site plan projects carried out on the second cycle showed that students’ understanding and seriousness was higher. Third cycle was unnecessary to do as it took only 79.03 minutes for students to finish the project. The conclusion is that the Achievement Index will increase if students do the projects seriously. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze (1) The influence of family environment on student achievement index. (2) Effect of interest in learning on student achievement index. This type of research is descriptive and associative research. The study population was students of Economic Education at the Faculty of Economics UNP registered in the semester July-December 2018 class 2015 to 2017, a total sample of 81 people used the Slovin formula, while the sample collection technique was carried out using Proportional Sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inductive analysis (inferential), namely the normality test, homogeneity test, multicollinearity test, and hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis, F test, coefficient of determination and t test with α = 0.05. The results showed that (1) There is a significant influence between family environment on student achievement index, seen from the sig value of 0.042 0.05. (2) There is a significant influence between learning interest towards student achievement index, seen from the sig value of 0.026 0.05. (3) There is a significant influence between family environment and learning interest on student achievement index, seen from the sig value of 0,000 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain tutorial online (tuton) PIPS model siklus belajar (MBS). Penelitian dilakukan di portal UT-Online menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah 21 mahasiswa peserta tuton dari 16 Unit Program Belajar Jarak Jauh (UPBJJ) di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan validasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif-persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain tuton model MBS secara ‘kuantitatif’ kurang efektif meningkatkan aktivitas/partisipasi mahasiswa dalam forum inisiasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan penyelesaian tugas-tugas tutorial. Namun secara ‘kualitatif’, kualitas diskusi dan tanya jawab ‘cukup baik’ dilihat dari interaksi yang terjadi antar-partisipan, dan konten diskusikan/tanya jawab. Ketepatan waktu penyelesaian tugas-tugas tuton, perolehan nilai tugas, dan tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa atas kompetensi PIPS juga ’baik’. Rendahnya tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa di dalam tuton disebabkan oleh faktor keterbatasan waktu akses, yang menyebabkan jumlah mahasiswa akses, frekwensi, durasi, dan waktu akses sangat terbatas; dan faktor teknis, terkait dengan kendala dan keterbatasan biaya, fasilitas, dan jaringan akses. The purpose of the study is to develop a tutorial online (tuton) design for Social Studies uses learning cycle model (LC-Model). The study was conducted at UT-Online portal uses the Research and Development (RD) method. The research subjects consist of 21 UT’s students from 16 Units of Distance Learning Program (UPBJJ) in Indonesia. Data collected with the documentation and validation techniques, and analyzed with the descriptive-percentage techniques. The study shows that the tuton design using the LC-Model, quantitatively, is not effective to increase students’ activity/participation in initiation, discussion, and ask-questions forums, also to completion of tutorial assignments. Qualitatively, however, the quality of their discussions and ask-questions are ‘good’, viewed to processes and contents of discussion and ask-questions. Timeliness to the completion of tuton assignments, the acquisition of the task scores, and the level of student’s mastery to social studies competency also is 'good'. The low of students’ participation in the tuton was caused by the limited time for access viewed from the amount of students who accesses, access frequency, duration, and time; and technical factors associated with cost, facilities, and access network constraints or limitations.

Abstract

The research has been conducted to find out the correlation between the powerof muscles and the flexibility of joints during a 50 m distance butterfly stoke. Thefindings could be used to rise athletes’ achievement. The subject of research consistedof 10 males athletes, aging from 14 up to 24 years. The variables were the power ofvarious limb muscles when doing butterfly stroke for 50 m distance. To measure thosethe research used the leg dynamitor, the pull and push dynometer, the anthropometer,the flexometer, and the stopwatch. The single and multiple regression analyses havebeen indicated that there were negative correlation between (a) the various musclesduring a 50 m butterfly stroke and (b) the power of muscles and the flexibility ofjoints. It proved too that male athletes have certain muscles that strongly influencethem. Those are the pulling and pushing power of muscles, the flexibility of shoulderjoints, and the plantar flexi joints.Kata Kunci: kekuatan otot, fleksibilitas sendi, renang gaya kupu-kupu

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar siswa yang rendah dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 11 Semarang menyebabkan hasil belajar yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengajaran Quantum terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuantitatif. Desain Quasi eksperimen post-test only control group design dan one shot case study digunakan untuk menganalisis keefektifan hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap kelas eksperimen menggunakan pengajaran Quantum dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode diskusi observasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 4 (kelas eksperimen 1), X MIPA 5 (kelas kontrol), dan X MIPA 6 (eksperimen 2). Analisis uji komparatif hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan independent sample test kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol diperoleh thitung (3,97) ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 2,67 diperoleh nilai thitung (8,97) ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek sikap menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 3 diperoleh nilai thitung (15,79) ttabel 5% (2,00). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pengajaran Quantum efektif terhadap hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.  The low of student activities and lack of teaching media were used in learning environmental pollution for the class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang caused learning outcomes weren’t optimal. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Quantum teaching toward student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution. This research method is quantitative experiments. Quasi-experimental design of a post-test only control group design and one-shot case study was used to analyze the effectiveness of student learning outcomes of knowledge and attitude aspects of classroom teaching experiment using Quantum with the control class using discussion method of observation. The sample used is class X MIPA 4 (experimental class 1), X MIPA 5 (control class), and X MIPA 6 (experimental class 2). The analysis of the comparative test outcomes with aspects of knowledge using independent sample test to experimental class with control class obtained tcount (3.97) ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of learning outcomes aspects of knowledge using one sample test showed that there was an average difference in student learning outcomes through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 2.67 was obtained tcount (8.97) ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of the student learning outcomes used one aspect attitude until the test showed that there are differences in average outcomes of learning through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 3 obtained tcount (15.79) ttable 5% (2.00). The result of study shows that the application of Quantum teaching is effective for student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution.

Abstract

Implementing the discussion method in studying the topic of Biology,especially in learning about the environment, leaves students unable to apply in reallife what they have learned in school. Because of that, in this research, the ProjectMethod through group work was used in the task of recycling both organic aninorganic waste. The goal of this research was to enhance the students’ affective,cognitive, and psychomotor ability. The research Project took the form of class actionresearch carried out in two cycles, both of which consisted of planning, implementing,observing, and reflection. The results of the research showed that by implementing theProject Method, the ability of the students increased in all three aspects: the cognitiveaspect as evidenced by the daily test scores, the affective aspect as was apparent in thestudents initiative in making posters to raise environmental awareness, and in thepsychomotor aspect made clear by the recycled products that were produced.Kata kunci: prestasi belajar biologi, metode proyek, daur ulang limbah

Abstract

Pendidikan dan pembelajaran sejatinya mempunyai tugas untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan karakter kepada siswa agar bermanfaat bagi kehidupannya. Upaya ini terkait erat dengan sajian mata pelajaran di sekolah, termasuk di dalamnya materi menulis kreatif yang tercakup dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam studi pendahuluan ketika tim melakukan pengabdian di SMA Islam Batu, diketahui bahwa siswa di SMA Islam Batu sangat senang bercerita. Keterampilan berbicara siswa lebih baik daripada keterampilan menulisnya. Siswa merasa kesulitan ketika menuangkan ide cerita ke dalam sebuah karya kreatif, khususnya puisi atau cerpen. Kesulitan ini terletak pada kebingungan siswa untuk memulai menulis, semangat menulis siswa yang cenderung rendah, model pembelajaran yang dipergunakan guru belum memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi ide. Hal ini tentu sangat mengganggu dan perlu diselesaikan dengan segera, mengingat KD di kelas X-XII, baik itu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk peminatan maupun umum menuntut siswa dapat menulis kreatif. Selain itu, industri kreatif saat ini memungkinkan siswa untuk dapat berkarya dan membuka peluang bagi siswa untuk mengaktualisasikan diri sekaligus dapat menjadi media promosi agar SMA Islam Batu lebih dapat diperhitungkan di masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan, akhirnya dihasilkan model pembelajaran KTM (Kreatif, Mandiri, dan Kreatif) Berbasis Lingkungan Sosial untuk Siswa SMA. Model pembelajaran ini dinilai dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk lebih kreatif dan mandiri, karena siswa dihadapkan pada persoalan riil dan siswa diminta untuk mencari solusi atas persoalan yang diangkatnya sebagai ide pembuatan karya kreatif.Education and learning actually have the duty to provide knowledge, skills, and character to students so that they benefit their lives. This effort is closely related to the presentation of subjects in schools, including creative writing material included in Indonesian language subjects. In a preliminary study when the team did service at the Batu Islam High School, it was found that students in Batu Islamic High School were very happy to tell stories. Students’ speaking skills are better than their writing skills. Students feel difficult when putting story ideas into a creative work, especially poetry or short stories. This difficulty lies in the confusion of students to start writing, the spirit of writing students who tend to be low, the learning model used by the teacher has not facilitated students to explore ideas. This is certainly very disturbing and needs to be resolved immediately, considering KD in class X-XII, whether it is Indonesian language for specialization or general subjects requires students to be creative writing. In addition, the creative industry now allows students to be able to work and open opportunities for students to actualize themselves as well as being a media for promotion so that Batu Islam High School can be more calculated in the community. By using the development research method, finally the KTM (Creative, Independent, and Creative) learning model based on the Social Environment for High School Students was produced. This learning model is considered to be able to direct students to be more creative and independent, because students are faced with real problems and students are asked to find solutions to the problems he raised as the idea of making creative works.
