Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the physical fitness profiles among the national powerlifters with disabilities. A total of eight national powerlifting athletes (3 females and 5 males) were recruited and performed 1-RM bench press test, 20-seconds wheelchair push-up test, 50-meter dash, handgrip strength test, and arm crank ergometer test.  The mean value of 1-RM bench press test was 1.78 ± 0.58 with all of the subjects classified as above average. The mean for 20-seconds wheelchair push-up test was 26.00 ± 8.50 repetitions as 75% of the subjects were above average, 12.5% were average, while another 12.5% were below average. The results of 50-meter dash showed that the mean value was 17.35 ± 4.72 seconds. The mean for left handgrip strength test was 38.86 ± 12.95 kg while the mean for right handgrip strength was 37.12 ± 12.77 kg. About 25% of the subjects were above average, 50% were in average rank, while another 25% were below average for the left handgrip strength test. For the right handgrip strength, 12.5% classified as above average, 50% were average, and another 37.5% were below average. All of the subjects were able to finish an arm crank ergometer test as the mean value of the test was 100.50 ± 25.57 RPM. Based on results, muscular strength, power and muscular endurance reveals that subjects are within the range. The future research could incorporate body composition evaluation and anthropometric profiles among powerlifters with disabilities for better understanding of sporting performance.

Abstract

Conservation gymnastic consisting of three a part which is instillation parts, a part fundamental and a part refrigerations. This research constitute research that aims to result product as developmental as Conservation gymnastic. Steps that is utilized in this research utilizes 7 (seven) main stage.  Base observational result ” college student response,  84 % respondent perceive pleasings,  or 14 % respondent answer so-sos, and 2 % respondent answer discontented. Developmental aspect ” college student response 79 % respondent perceive to make easy studyings, 19 % respondent answer so-sos, and 2 % respondent answer to get into a mess studyings. Aspect processes learning ” college student response 83 % respondent perceive are easily, 15 % respondent answer so-sos, and 2 % respondent answer distresses. Expectation aspect ” college student response 86 % respondent answer Can be kept on,  reason makes easy learning, 2 % respondent answer Can be kept on,  reason up to haven’t available the other gymnastic,  and 2 % respondent answer don’t be kept on, reason gets into a mess studying, and 0 % or no respondent.  Simpulan pengembangan is conservation gymnastic can help to increase lecturer earthly concern fitness, employee, college student and society.   Gymnastic stirred development conservation and conservation gymnastic music,  was updated is assessed apropos and truth,  progressively simple its power, progressively lucid,  its music gets menggungah spirit,  can do by whoever.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine whether the application of modeling techniques and exercises to improve skills and gymnastics floor aerobics class 3 K-1 SMK Negeri 1 Waterford in the second semester of the school year 2012/2013.Dalam tests used in data collection techniques to determine student learning outcomes and techniques non-test in the form of sheets of observation by observation to determine the learning process. The research method used was Classroom Action Research to perform two actions in two cycles. From the results of this research note an improvement in learning outcomes and learning processes. From the initial conditions to an increase in cycle 1 average value of 74.77 to 78.83, an increase of 5.43 percent. In the two-cycle is the last cycle the average value is 85.26, which means an increase of 14.03 per cent of the initial conditions. Similarly, the learning process showed an increase in activity and creativity of students and teachers. It can be concluded that the application of modeling techniques and exercises to improve skills and gymnastics floor aerobics class 3 K-1 SMK Negeri 1 Waterford in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013.

Abstract

Global issues related to healthy lifestyle, one of them through physical activity has become a reference for many nations and institutions continue to encourage people to actively engage in physical activity, particularly through sporting activities. Athletic institutions in Indonesia in general and Central Java and Semarang in particular also uses a global issue healthy lifestyle as a reference to develop the program and use it as a direction in a variety of activities. In many instances, the Department of Sport Science FIK Unnes have participated instrumental in promoting a healthy lifestyle, both as a driver and as a partner for other institutions. Purpose of this study was to determine the community’s participation in the District Banyumanik, Gunungpati, Semarang south and Tembalang. This study used a questionnaire survey method to capture accurately the situation and condition of the public sports activities in the city of Semarang, and absorb the “taste” of society in exercising. Instruments will capture qualitative data and quantitative data. Analysis of the data used together according to the type of data obtained in order to achieve the research objectives. From the research it can be concluded: (1) Community participation in sports  (2) Teens status as high school students, have awareness of doing exercise,and Tembalang, low, (2) Teens status as high school students, have awareness of doing exercise, (3) Teens status as a student, have a consciousness for a preliminary equipment / exercise equipment independently, (4) type of physical activity performed is the most healthy way.

Abstract

Background of this static balance research and dynamic is to investigatethe development ofstatic and dynamic balancein older childrenages 7to12 years in Demak regency. The purposeof this study was to determinethe importance ofthe development of static and dynamic balance in young men and the humiliation of women aged 7-12 years inDemak regency.The method was used by the researchersin examine this research is by methods development Cross-sectional study (study the developmentalcross-sectional study ofbalance). The initial phaseis to collect student data Elementary School (SD) according to the sampling technique used,in whole school elementary school (SD) as Demak regency. The data are the names of students who will perform tests of static balance and dynamic balance. In the second stage, after the data has been collected the students performa static balance test using the tes stroke stand  and for dynamic balance test using the floor patern The third phase was after the measurement of static balance and dynamic balance is complete, it can be presente tables and graphs, according to the data of each measurement and the balance and then compared the development of static and dynamic balanceper-ages 7 s/d12 years also gender. The next stage is to compare the development of static balance and dynamic balance between big kids boys and girls ages 7s/d12 years

Abstract

The purpose of this study to find out how the members of supplements on the fitness center in the city of Yogyakarta. Type a descriptive qualitative research study, the technique of the test through a questionnaire survey. Total sample of 30 people with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that: 1) the characteristics of the majority of member fitness aged 20-29 years (73.7%), is still active as a student (56.7%), and by 6.7% as a housewife. 2) respondents have a grasp on the definition of supplements (86.6%), which is derived from advertising, print media, electronic media (63.3%) in the form of amino, high milk protein and creatine (66.6%). 3) the majority of respondents use tablets (70%), obtained from the purchase (96.7%), consumed 1-3 times / day (always) of (83.3%) to increase the muscle mass of (59.9%). 4) the majority of respondents (73.3%) increased his stamina and health after taking the supplement. Conclusions: 1) should be someone over the age of 30 years and mother housewife improve motion activity, 2) the principles of exercise should be increased in line with the benefits of supplements for stamina and health.

Abstract

Optimal achievement in sports can be achieved if training quality is to be applied, and embracing the concept of coaching pyramid as the process of achieving goals. Use of science and technology to obtain information about the physiological characteristics of athletes, to serve as guidelines in making the exercise program. Management application of the load must be carried out with due regard to the physiological condition of each athlete, and the application of the burden in training need to stimulate the physiological capabilities of the athlete. Error in applying the load of management practice, will have a negative impact on the physiological condition of the athlete. The pulse rate is high, often feel dizzy, disturbances in digestion and metabolism, an effect caused by overtraining, affect the performance athletes to achieve optimal performance. Overtraining condition occurs due to errors in applying the training program.

Abstract

Physical education is an education that is geared towards the development of human motion as a whole and therefore the need for special attention and continuous, in this era of education itself should never be made arbitrarily without any firm and clear concepts, many teachers in the learning process experienced problems such as not looking at the characteristics of students who are facing conditions that is where the actual students need to move freely liluasan but the fact that students feel pressured irregular movement patterns are not conveyed by skill learning approach therefore time is the right solution in the process dariyang easy steps towards a difficult or from leading to the complex simple, the results are still having difficulty teryata approach in conducting basic technique passing the ball in the leg.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how coaching men’s sepak takraw PPLP achievement salatiga Central Java that include: builder, responsible person, organization, athlete, coach, coaching program, facilities and infrastructure and achievement. Research purposes to determine the achievement of coaching men’s sepak takraw PPLP in Salatiga in Central Java. Usefulness of the results of this study are expected to contribute information to an input for the development of sporting achievement and the development of sepak takraw sepak takraw sport in Central Java. Research uses descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection using observation, documentation and interviews. Source of research data is 12 sepak takraw men’s athlete PPLP Central Java, 2 as coach of the men’s team sepak takraw Central Java, one of the managers organization. Model analysis of the data in this study used four interacting components, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Results of research on the process of coaching men’s sepak takraw achievement PPLP Central Java in 2013 were 1) The state of men’s sepak takraw organization PPLP pretty good. 2) Quality has been good athletes based on the achievements. 3) Facilities and infrastructure are owned not complete, do not have a gym and fitness center sendri. 4) The coach who handles men’s sepak takraw PPLP in Salatiga Indonesia has been carrying the team in international Branch Office, has a national license and experienced. 5) The coaching program has been run in accordance with the planned program. 6) accomplishments achieved to date is excellent and always increase from year to year. Conclusions from this research is coaching men’s sepak takraw team achievements Central Java is a sports organization that is well structured and has good performance. Advice can be given, namely: Infrastructure for training should already have its own gym and not renting anymore. To increase game performance test that should be done more.

Abstract

The capacity of physical ability can be improved through doing an exercise which is according to the intensity, duration and frequency. Exercise can improve the immunity system and influence the leucocyte. The number of pheripheral leucocyte can be the resource of  information for the diagnostics and prognose the description of organ damage and the recovery  after physical training. The purpose of this study to investigate the influence of aquarobic exercises to  leucocyte count .This study is experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects for this study is a women Obese I, 45-50 years old, they were 24  person. The subjects of study were given aquarobic exercises until the reached the targeted heartbeats which is 75% of the maximum heartbeats, duration 60 minutes, 8 weeks aquarobics exercises. The physical activity was done for a moment. Before and after doing the activity, the pheripheral blood was taken to examine leucocyte count. The result of study reveals that there is significantly increasing a value of the average leucocyte count  before aquarobic exercises. Based on the result of study, it can be concluded that aquaribics exercises change leucocyte count on Obes I Women.
