Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the trends of rural tourism and sustainable development goals  researchs through reviewing related scientific publications. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish (PoP) and SINTA databases. A Bibliometric analysis was conducted using the VOSViewer and Microsoft Excel software by utilizing information from the retrieved database. Further, data was encoded and analyzed through descriptive statistics and structural analysis. The results reveal that there is a rise of research papers that deal with rural tourism and sustainable development goals in the Asia region, where a significant portion of the published works was contributed from Indonesia and the common themes that emerged were among nature-based tourism, community-based tourism, bay tourism, agriculture and plantations, and local wisdom. Considering the criticality of the sustainable development concept in the contemporary context of rural tourism, more studies should delve into merging and investigating the relationship between the two themes.

Abstract

The emergence of the number of skincare cosmetic retailers in Salatiga, Central Java, is one of the factors in which the percentage of women who are aware of the importance of skin health is increasing, especially since the causes of skin problems are currently various. It makes one of the retailers in Salatiga, namely G&G skin care cosmetics store, need to strengthen relationships with their customers to survive and achieve business excellence amid a competitive skincare market. This research was lifted from the curiosity of researchers regarding the significant influence of brand experience on the intention to buy products through G&G stores by using brand involvement as mediation. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who had made purchases at G&G cosmetics retail at least once. The sample used in this research is judgmental sampling. The structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with Partial Least Square (PLS) was applied in this study. Then, the result of this study shows that brand experience has a significant effect on the intention to buy a product, with the three indicators of brand involvement as mediation. Moreover, the results also show that G&G retail skincare brands need to increase their activation in brand engagement to attract and maintain relationships with their consumers in the long term.

Abstract

The education sector, especially higher education or universities, has a foundation that must be carried out, is called the Tri Dharma University whose focus on Teaching, Research and Community Service. In addition to this, in order to maximally support lecturers in carrying out the Tri Dharma University, other activities such as service to students need to be assisted by other parties. The other activities intended are in terms of security and cleanliness within the University. In order to carry out activities in a conducive manner, some parties choose to use third party services or outsourcing. This study aims to evaluate the strategy of outsourcing in terms of the theory of Transaction Cost Economics at the University of August 1945 Banyuwangi. The research method in this research uses qualitative research methods with research informants who are choosed purposively. The selected informants are informants who are considered to be involved and affected by the implications of implementing the outsourcing system, including the implementing agency and the owner of the designated outsourcing agency. Based on the results of the study it is known that the cost analysis in terms of TCE theory, the use of outsourced labor at Untag Banyuwangi is considered inefficient. This is because the costs arising from using outsourcing services are considered to be more expensive than before using outsourcing services. However, things are different when viewed in terms of asset specificity consisting of human resources (skill level, knowledge, and experience of employees), physical assets, location, dedicated, temporal, and brand specificity, it can be concluded that Untag Banyuwangi has been effective and efficient in the use of outsourcing services. So that the University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi does not need to provide increased employee skill training.
