Abstract

With the advancement of technology in this era of globalization, every company strives to always improve the quality of production and marketing management with the aim of maximizing the profits targeted by each company. To overcome the tight competition in marketing then one of the efforts undertaken by the company is to set a competitive pricing strategy so that sales increase the maximum. The right price and integrated can produce an effect to the customer to build relationship with the consumer so as to increase sales volume. This study uses quantitative method with the number of samples in this study are 84 consumers. Where researchers calculate the results of consumer responses on the questionnaire by using SPSS application version 21, so it can be known whether there is correlation and how much influence of price variables on sales of these products. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of t count is greater than t-table (24,447> 1,993). Based on the results of research data that has been processed, it can be concluded that the effect of price on product sales are at a very strong correlation level of 0.879 or 87.9%, while 12.1% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Abstract

Conflict comes from the Latin verb configere which means to hit each other. Sociologically, conflict is defined as a social process between two or more people (or groups) where one party attempts to remove the other by destroying it or making it powerless. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of conflicts that occur in the performance of employees at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Manado samples taken as many as 30 respondents. Data collection methods used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive research method of research that is research which combine between qualitative and quantitative method. In this research, the result of simple correlation shows strong correlation or influence between conflict variable and performance equal to 0,87% and based on that calculation hence sought the amount of contribution of conflict to performance with result of 75,69%. And in this research the authors get the result of conflict impact terhadapa employee performance that has a positive impact. The conclusion of this research result shows the reality of Manado Pegadaian employees handling and managing employees conflicts done efficiently and effectively then positive impact will arise through the behavior that is seen by employees as potential human resources with various consequences such as improving order, discipline in using work time, increasing productive cooperative relationship, work motivation. And suggestions to try to improve or sustain the application of existing conflicts through the application of a conscious presence of role conflict, accepting the conditions and stressful situations in work caused by the conflict, trying to be able to tolerate conflict, will have an impact on the improvement of employee performance. Keywords : Conflict, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of ethical leadership on employee performance, to determine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and to determine the influence of ethical leadership and organizational culture on employee performance at PT. Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967. A leader with high ethical leadership and organizational culture can influence individuals or groups to behave in accordance with organizational or corporate goals. Therefore, companies or organizations need to pay attention to matters that include leadership ethics and organizational culture so that employee performance can be developed for the progress of the organization or company. This research uses quantitative research method, with multiple regression analysis approach to know the level of influence between variables, and t test seen from the level of significance between variables, namely ethical leadership (X1), organizational culture (X2) and employee performance (Y). While to know the value of influence of ethical leadership variable and organizational culture together to employee performance seen from F count bigger dat F table. The results of this study indicate that ethical leadership and organizational culture have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, so the hypothesis that there is influence of ethical leadership on employee performance, there is influence of organizational culture on employee performance and there is influence ethical leadership and organizational culture on employee performance otherwise acceptable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the company's financial performance by using economic value added (EVA) method at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. During the period 2015 - 2017. Economic Value Added Analysis (EVA) is one way to explore financial performance. Economic Value Added (EVA) is an indicator of the implementation of investment. To process the data that have been collected from the results of research, the researchers in this research using the analysis of corporate financial performance using the method of Economic Value Added (EVA) by calculating Net Profit After Tax, calculate Invested Capital, calculate Average Cost Of Capital, calculate Capital Charges and Calculate Economic Value Added (EVA). After processing the results data show that the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the period of 2015 until 2017 EVA value continues to increase EVA value in every year of research. This proves that the company's managers are able to create economic value added for the company by maximizing profits that contribute to the increasing value of NOPAT and minimize the return on risk in infestation that causes the decline in Capital Charges value resulting in EVA> 0 value. The results show that during the period 2015 to 2017 PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. get a positive value with the highest EVA in 2017 of Rp. 21,396,554 (in millions of rupiahs) because in that year the company had the highest NOPAT from the previous two years and had Capital Charges which is low enough so that the company can obtain higher value added from 2015 and 2016. Then in 2016 the company has EVA lower of Rp 19,298,437 (in millions of rupiah) with the difference of 9.80% compared to the year 2017 and the creation of the lowest value in 2015 amounting to Rp. 17,231,693 (in millions of rupiah) with a difference of 10.70% compared to the value of EVA in 2016.Key Words : Analisis Economic Value Added (EVA), Financial Performance.

Abstract

In an increasingly sophisticated era, the lifestyles of peoples are increasingly advanced and also increase the rate of one’s mobility. Nowdays, the companies is required to be able to act, act quickly and accurately in facing competition in this world. Various problem come when many low-cost airlines come to the surface by offering and enabling their power to attract consumers, this problem making Garuda Indonesia not have a top position Marketing Position on Manado-Denpasar Route. This study discusses about the influences of Pricing Strategy, Promotion Strategy and Brand Equity Differences against the Marketing Position PT.Garuda Indonesia Branch Office Manado (Manado - Denpasar Route ). Marketing is one of the most important activities int the business world. In the curent business. In Marketing activites there are 4 Marketing `Mixes which are Product, Price, Place and Promotion. conditions, marketing is a driver to increase sales, so that purpose of company’s are achived.  The method used in this study is quantitative by using questionnaires as a tool to gather information from respondents. Respondents were determined based on whether their used the service of Garuda Indonesia in 2 times, so this study can be said to be using a probability sampling method with a sample random sampling retrieval techniques. This study uses multiple lineaar regressio n analysis, 3 indpendent variable and 1 dependent variable. The survey was conducted by taking a sample of 50 passengers of Garuda Indonesia. This study aims to find out whether Pricing Strategy, Promotion Strategy and Brand Equity Differences affect to Marketing Position of the company and to describe what is the most important factor according to passengers perception to bring this company as Top lead er at Marketing Poosition board. The results obtained in this study indicate that there is a significant influence between Pricing Strategy, Promotion Strategy and Brand Equity Differences against to Marketing Position. The results of this study also show that Promotion strategies are the most important factor in its influence on Marketing Position. Abstract

In line with his rapid development of science and technology which experienced an increase and change over time underwent logical consequences for the business world by shifting his values to the demands of human needs and desires. This phenomenon brings implication to every company in maintaining the continuity of its operational activities, where the products / services produced are expected to be well received by consumers. Product quality is important in the successful marketing of products / services. Purchase decision is determined by many factors such as product quality that is the researcher's attention with the assumption that if the quality of product is good then it will make the consumer interested so that make the consumer satisfied. This study aims to find out how far the quality of the product to the purchase decision Honda motor beat on CV. LION by taking 86 respondents. the method of analysis used in this research is quantitative method with approach correlation and simple regression, using questionnaires and observations as a technique in obtaining data. In the calculations in this study, researchers use SPSS software version 21. This can indicate whether there is a correlation between the two variables and how much influence the quality of the product to the purchase decision. The result of this research shows that product quality has negative effect on purchasing decision because negative regression coefficient value is 21,608 and every 1% increase of service quality (X), then purchasing decision (Y) will increase by 0,479.Keywords: Product Quality and Purchase Decision

Abstract

All companies either companies that produce goods or services want to always exist in the market in order to gain market share and of course to make a profit. Like living things undergo a life cycle which is a process from the beginning of living things are born, grow and develop, mature, and then die, so does a product. Therefore, we must plan the right strategy in managing or managing the business that we run. The purpose of this study is to determine the position of Samsung products in Manado City, in accordance with the product life cycle, and Samsung smartphone marketing mix strategy in Manado City based on the position of the product life cycle, and Samsung smartphone marketing mix strategy in Manado City is in accordance with the marketing mix strategy theory based on the product life cycle position. The product life cycle (PLC) graphically describes the sales history of a product or product class since it was first introduced to the market until it was withdrawn from the market (Tjiptono, 2015: 435). This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach with the data analysis method used is the Polli and Cook method and uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. This study uses two independent variables set to be studied so that information can be obtained, namely the sale of Samsung products in Manado City in 2013-2017 and the marketing mix strategy of Samsung products in Manado City. The results of this study are based on the calculation of the Polli and Cook Method, it can be seen that the amount of the percentage change in sales is 2.11 (X = 2.11) with a growth limit value of 27.96 and a decrease limit value of -26.90. Thus because the number of percentage values of sales changes are between the growth limit value and the limit of decrease value, it can be concluded thatSamsung smartphones in Manado City are at maturity stage (mature). In general, the Samsung smartphone marketing mix strategy in the city of Manado which is run is in accordance with the marketing mix strategy theory based on the product life cycle position at the maturity stage. It is recommended that retaining customers at this time be the main focus for the company and distribution channels to be further expanded to strategic places and for the less profitable to be reduced. Abstract

PT. Nichindo Manado Suisan is a foreign private export company engaged in food products. PT produces various products that are produced are katsuobuhi products, and hanakatsuo derivatives, itokezuri made from skipjack fish, this research aims to find out how to control and what factors cause defective products. According to Gaspersz (2005: 310) six sigma is a vision of improvingquality towards a target of 3.4 failures per million opportunities for every transaction of goods and product services, in the research in January and April 2018 found 10234 kg defective products from 80797 kg production. there is a further research conducted using the Six Sigma method which is a structured methodology to reduce process variation while reducing product defects sothat improvements are expected in the products produced with the aim of Analyzing quality control before export by PT. nichindo manado suisan and Knowing what factors cause quality to be less good by using rare DMAIC Six Sigma is Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control. In the define phase, you know what kind of defects in production are packaging. Then in the measure phasethrough the Pareto diagram it can be the most dominant damage. Then in the analyze stage there are some root causes of the problem, among others are the lack of supervision from the company, and the lack of employee skills, so that in the improve phase there will be some quality improvement proposals, and stage of control The company must continue to make recommendations for continuous improvement of controls so that the number of defects can continue to decrease, based on the results of data collection, analysis and discussion caused by a less skilled workforce, therefore the company must carry out strict supervision.Keywords: Quality control before export, employee skills

Abstract

The development of the business in this world it’s so fast, in the field of trade and manufacturing. Trading businesses carry out their activitiesby buying products and selling them back to consumers. Every business that is estabilshed is motivated by various factors, which is the deman or interest of the communtiy towards the products produced by a business to fulfill their needs. Each company needs to know the Break Event point level of each company, including companies engaged in the chicken husbandry sector that produce laying hens like UD. Kakaskasen Indah. Break Even Point is a condition in which the company operations doesn’t mae a profit and also doesn’t have suffer losses. The purpose of this study is (1) to knowing the cost elements calculated in the Break Event point component . (2) to know the  number of Break Event points in units and Rupiah at UD. Kakaskasen Indah in 2017. (3) to knowing the size of Margin Safety in 2017 so that UD. Kakaskasen Indah does not suffer losses. The results of this study also show that management of this company can find out the level of Break Event Points. The Break Event point level shows minimun sales laying hens that must be achived by UD. Kakaskasen Indah so as not to suffer losses. The method used in this study is descriptive research. The data sought in this study is a report on egg production costs which will be used to dtermine Break Event point. The resilts of this study is cost obtained is very important, researchers also find the amount of profits that will later be obtained by the company, thi is determained by how much the costs incurred or recived by the company. Based on Break Event points calculation in 2017, UD. Kakaskasen Indah achived a Break Event point on egg sales of Rp. 9.949.539,134 or 254.767,98 units. Abstract

This research is explanatory, that is research whose purpose is to examine various relationship of hypothesized variables. The variables used in this study are capital structure or debt equity ratio,Current ratio (CR), Net Provit Margin (NPM), as well as Return On Assets (ROA). As one of the reference in measuring the amount of profit becomes so important to know. whether the company has run its business efficiently, because the new efficiency can be known by comparing the profit earned with the asset or capital that produces the profit or calculates profitability.This study aims to analyze  the simultaneous and partialinfluence of Current Ratio (CR) factors, capital structure or debt equity ratio (DER) and Net Provit Margin (NPM) on return on Assets (ROA) at PT. Astra Internasional Daihatsu Tbk.This research is explanatory, that is research whose purpose is to examine various relationship of hypothesized variables.The result of this study indicate that the liquidity ratio and solvency ratio to measure the company’s ability to meet its short-term obligations through the curren ratio indicator is in the “ good enough” performance category when compared to the industry standard average, The result of multiple linear regression analysis show that all three factors (CR,DER and NPM) simultaneously have no significant but positive effect on financial performance (ROA) of PT Astra Internasional Daihatsu Tbk, while partially the dominant factor influencing financial performance (ROA) of PT Astra Internasional Daihatsu Tbk is a Debt Equity Ratio (DER). It is recommended that PT Astra Internasional Daihatsu Tbk should focus its attention on the company’s liquidity (curren ratio), must focus more on debt equity ratio (DER) because its influence is quite dominant on financial performance(ROA), and must focus more on net profit margins due to its influence even though it is not real but positive toward financial performance (ROA).Keyword :  Return On Asset (ROA), Capital Structure or Debt Equity Ratio (DER),Current Ratio(CR), and Net Provit Margin (NPM), and Financial Performance
