Abstract

Inger study aims analyzing human conflict with Sumatran elephants (Elephant maximus sumatranus) in Peunaron Sub-district, East Aceh Regency. Data collection was conducted from July to September 2016. The method used in this research is survey method and interview to the community in Peunaron Sub-district, East Aceh Regency. Interview conducted on 40 residents of Bukit Tiga, Peunaron Lama, Peunaron Baru, Arul Pinang, and 30 residents Lokop and surrounding areas. Data analysis by using multiple linear regression test using SPSS 16 software. The result of this research shows that (1) public knowledge about human conflict with Sumatran elephant with significance value 0,049 0,05. (2) Public perception of human conflict with Sumatran elephant, with significance value 0.000 0,05. (3) Community customs against human conflict with Sumatran elephant, with significance value 0.000 0,05. The conclusions in this study are (1) Knowledge, perception, and community habits affect the conflict between human and human elephant.Keywords: Analyzed, Conflict, Human, Sumatran Elephant and Community Perception.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan tujuan mengetahui spesies tumbuhan herba yang terdapat dikawasan Sarah Leupung Kabupaten Aceh Besar, telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17-23 Januari 2016 menggunakan metodesurvey eksploratif dengan teknik porposive sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 26 spesies tumbuhan herba yang tergolong kedalam 14 famili yaitu Eleusine indica, Themede arguens, Paspalum conjugatum, Panicum repens, Cyperus rotundus, Cyperus kyllinga, Amaranthus spinosus, Ageratum conyzoides, Bidens pilosa, Musa balbisiana, Musa acuminata, Dieffenbachia, Colocasia esculenta, Xanthosoma sagittifolium, Caladium bicolour, Ipomoea aquatic, Pisalis angulata, Plantago major, Alpinia galangal, Curcuma domestica, Hyptiscapitata, Centella asiatica, Andrographis paniculata, Euphorbia hirta, Acalypha australis, dan Phyllanthus niruri. Spesies yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah Paspalum conjugatum dan Themede arguens. Hal inimenunjukkan bahwa spesies –spesies tersebut layak dijadikan sebagai penunjang praktikum Botani Tingkat Tinggi.Kata Kunci: Inventarisasi, Spesies, Tumbuhan Herba dan Sarah Leupung

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the implementation of Problem Posing Learning Model combined with Mind Mapping to improve students’ critical thinking skills, learning motivation, for environmental pollution material. The data collected in March 2017. The method employed in this study was the Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control/Group Design method. This research conducted on four classes X MIA 1 was chosen as the experiment class I, X MIA 2 as experiment class II, and X MIA 3 as experiment class III. Meanwhile, class X MIA 4 used as a control class. The research instruments used were a series of tests to assess students, critical thinking skills to measure students. The gained data were analyzed using variance analysis (ANOVA) at a significant level of 0.05. The results of variance analysis showed that Fcount Ftable showing thinking skill 290.05 2.70. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Posing learning model combined with mind map influenced students’ critical thinking skills for environmental pollution material at MAS Babun Najah Banda Aceh.Keywords: Problem Posing, Concept Map, Critical Thinking, Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PBL-based LKPD on the material structure and function of tissue in animals on learning motivation and learning outcomes cognitive learners SMAN 1 Labuhanhaji East. The data retrieval took place in September 2016, with true experiment method with pre-test post-test, control group design which was held in SMAN 1 Labuhanhaji Timur, in the odd semester of academic year 2016/2017. This research was conducted in two classes namely XI IPA 1 as control class and XI IPA 2 as experiment class. Data was collected by questionnaire of motivation, to see the influence of LKPD based on PBL on learning motivation with t-test technique at significant level 0,05. The test results were performed to look at the homogeneity and normality of the data and show that the data is homogeneous and normally distributed. The result of t test shows that thitung ttabel is learning motivation value 3,465 1,685. Conclusion there is the influence of LKPD based on PBL on learning motivation of learners on the material structure and function of tissue in animal in SMAN 1 Labuhanhaji East Aceh Selatan.Keywords: Student Work Sheet, Problem Based Learning Model, Learning Motivation, Structure andNetwork on Animals.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pengukuran kadar protein, lipid dan karbohidrat dalam jamur merang telah dilakukan pada Desember 2015 hingga Februari 2016 di desa Lamkeuneueng, kecamatan Darussalam, AcehBesar dan di laboratorium penguji Balai Riset dan Standarisasi Industri (BARISTAND), Banda Aceh.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Objek yangdikaji berupa jamur merang yang diinokulasikan pada 9 kombinasi media dan dengan 3 kali ulangan. Sampel yang dianalisis pada stasium telur. Analisis protein menggunakan metode Kjeldahl, analisis lipid dengan metode soxhlet dan analisis karbohidrat dengan metode Luff-Schoorl. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis of varians (ANOVA). Kadar protein jamur merang tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan menggunakan media kombinasi 68% tandan kosong kelapa sawit, 5% jerami dan 15% ampas tebu. Kadar lipid tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan menggunakan 98% ampas tebu, sedangkan kadar karbohidrat tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 98% jerami. Hasil analisis varian (α = 95%) diketahui bahwa perlakuan perbedaan komposisi media tumbuh yang diberikan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan protein, lipid dan juga karbohidrat dalam jamur merang.Kata Kunci: Jamur Merang (Volvariella volvacea), Kombinasi Media, Protein, Lipid dan Karbohidrat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan pedagogik guru biologi dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013 di SMAN Kabupaten Bireuen. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-Oktober 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru biologi di Kabupaten Bireuen. Sampel diambil sebanyak 20 guru Biologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Datadianalisis dengan menghitung persentase. Hasil Kemampuan pedagogik guru biologi dikategorikan baik yaitu aspek pemahaman terhadap peserta didik yaitu 80,75%, pengembangan kurikulum yaitu 99,06%, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik yaitu 83,25%, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran yaitu 57,5%, pengembangan potensi peserta didik yaitu 76%, komunikasi dengan peserta didik yaitu 77% dan evaluasi hasil belajar yaitu 78,13%.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pedagogik Guru Biologi, Kurikulum 2013 dan SMA Kabupaten Bireuen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the nature exploration approach based discovery learning model on students learning critical thinking skills and student achievement. Data were collected in January until March 2017. The method used in this study is an quasi experimental method with pretest posttest control group design. Populations in this research are all student in class X MIPAat SMA Negeri Unggul Kota Banda Aceh is 854 student. The research was conducted in two schools: SMA Unggul Negeri 2 Boarding School and SMA Negeri 10 Fajar Harapan is 161 student. The instrument used was a tests to assess critical thinking skills and student achievement. Data analysis used independent sample t-test and Mann Whitney U Test with SPSS 17.0 for Windows at 0.05 significance level. The result showed that of significant critical thinking skills and students achievement 0,05 is significant 0,000 0,05. Conclusion the application of the nature exploration approach based discovery learning can significant effect that an increase in the ability of critical thinking skills and student achievement in the plant world at SMA Negeri Unggul Banda Aceh.Keywords: The Nature Exploration Approach, Discovery Learning and Plant World.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangantumbuhan di Madrasah Aliyah Tgk Chik Oemar Diyan Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian yaitu, kelas XII IPA 1 yang berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XII IPA 2 yang berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan soal tes berupa pilihan ganda untuk menilai hasil belajar dan lembar observasi untuk menilai keterampilan proses sains. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 0,05.Hasil uji t untuk hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa yaitu (thit.3,833 ttab. 2,002) danuntuk keterampilan proses sains siswa memiliki katagori baik dan sangat baik. Pencapaian untuk katagori sangat baik mengalami peningkatan pada setiap praktikum. Simpulannya adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas eksperimen setelah penerapan model pembelajaran discoverylearning pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan di Madrasah Aliyah Tgk Chik Oemar Diyan.Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar, Keterampilan Proses Sains dan MA Tgk. Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the improvement of students’ learning achievement and their attitudes toward science by applying the scientific approach and interactive multimedia on human reproductive system material. This research was conducted at MAN Darussalam located at Jl. Tgk Glee Iniem, No 01, Darussalam, Great Aceh from 1st to 25th May 2015. The method used is an experiment study that refers to pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study consists of 30 students divided into two groups; the experimental class and the control class. The sample of this study was decided by using purposive sampling technique. The parameter was the result of students’ cognitive and attitude toward science. The data were analyzed by using Gain and Normalization Gain (N-Gain), and T-Test to define the difference. The results showed that the influence of scientific and interactive multimedia approaches can improve students' learning achievement and attitude toward sciences. This can be seen from the students’ learning results with an average score of 55.48 (experimental class) and 45.32 (control class). While, the students' attitude toward science in the experimental class improved about 0.39 from which 3.06 was in the initial attitude and 3.45 was in the final attitude. On the other hand, the control class increased about 0.2 from a score of 2.9 initial attitudes to 3.1 on Student's final attitude. It showed that the implementation of scientific approaches and interactive multimedia is better than conventional methods.Keywords: Scientific and Interactive Multimedia, Learning Achievement and Attitude toward science and Human Reproductive System Material.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences between the learning outcome of male and female students in the subject respiratory system by using audiovisual media. This study conducted from February 5 to February 28, 2017. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method with The Static Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this study was the students of class XI from the senior high school of Inshafuddin and Babunnajah consisted of 164 students. While the sample in this study consisted of 118 students, the male class was 54 students, and the female class was 64 students. The instruments used in this study is multiple choice tests to measure student’s learning outcome. The parameter in this research was the result of a student’s learning outcome. Data analysis was performed using the Mann Whitney U test at a significant level of 0,05. Result in Mann Whitney U test on student’s learning outcome showed that Sig. (2-tilled) 0,708 0,05. This study concluded that there were no differences in learning outcome between male and female students on the subject respiratory system by using audiovisual
