Abstract

Egocentrism is a limited ability to interests or personal needs, not oriented to the separation / distinction between oneself and the people / other objects. In extreme teens are not concerned with other people's opinions of him. This thought is based on the hope that he will be the center of attention. This research aimed to analyze the effect of permissive parenting and adolescent social competence to egocentrism behavior. The population in this research are students class X SMKN 2 Jiwan Madiun learning activities 2014/2015 as much as 292 students with a sample 146 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Data obtained by using questionnaires shaped scale.. In this research, the authors propose three hypotheses namely: 1) The first minor hypothesis reads "if the intensity of permissive parenting is high, then the behavior of the higher egocentrism." 2) Minor second hypothesis states that "if the adolescent social competence is weak, then the higher the behavioral egocentrism" 3) Major hypothesis states that "if the intensity of high permissive parenting and adolescent social competence is low, then the higher the egosentrism behavior." Data analyzed by using multiple linear regression techniques regression line equation model Y = 30.384 + 0.221 - 0.021 further analysis of the results showed that: 1) there is influence between permissive parenting and egocentrism behavior t count=5.614 and t table=1.980, 2) there is the influence of social competence adolescents with behavioral egocentrism t count = -0.374 and t table = 1.980, 3) there is influence between permissive parenting and adolescent social competence with behavioral egocentrism F  count = 15.937 and F table=3.06. Based on these calculations can be summarized as follows: 1) t count > t table the first minor hypothesis is accepted, 2) t count < t table the second minor hypothesis is accepted, 3) F count > F table the major hypothesis is accepted.   Keywords: permissive parenting, adolescent social competence, behavioral egocentrism

Abstract

Family is the most influential factor in the development of children and adolescents. The family has an important role in the formation of personality. The period of adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. Changes that occur, often bring a certain impact on an adolescent self. This study aimed to determine the effect of smoking on student behavior tendencies in terms of how to educate the authoritarian and the negative influence of peers. The population in this study were students of class X SMK Yosonegoro Magetan academic year 2013/2014 the number of 16 classes and sampling as much as 5 classes. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire form scale. Questionnaire form of scale that smoking behavior scale, scale and scale to educate authoritarian negative influence of peers. In this study, the authors propose three hypotheses, namely: 1) there is a significant effect on the tendency to educate authoritarian smoking behavior in students. 2) There is a significant effect of the negative influence of peers on the trend of smoking behavior in students. 3) There is a significant effect of educating authoritarian manner and the negative influence of peers on the trend of smoking behavior in students. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. Based on the results of data processing can be summarized as follows: 1) model regression equation Y = 13 654 + 0429 (X1) + 0.291 (X2). 2) Correlation analysis showed R of 0840 means to educate the authoritarian and the negative influence of peers has a very strong closeness to the tendency of smoking behavior. 3) The coefficient of determination for 0706, it is meant to educate the authoritarian and the negative influence of peers has the effect of 70.6% by the trend of smoking behavior. 4) Hypothesis "There is a significant effect on the tendency to educate authoritarian smoking behavior in students' accepted. 5) Hypothesis "There is a significant negative influence of peers on the trend of smoking behavior in students' accepted. 6) Hypothesis "There is a significant effect of educating authoritarian manner and the negative influence of peers on the trend of smoking behavior.Keywords: smoking behavior, how to educate authoritarian, and the negative influence of peers

Abstract

Career choice is important and will be considered students when they grow up. At the time like that sometimes students still feel confused career what really correspond to the potential and the situation himself. Because in the world of work a person is working not merely for financial satisfaction but a job that really fit and match the potential of the person who holds the job, so that the match will actually work with all his heart. This study aims to analyze the influence of career guidance at school and socio-economic status of parents on student career choice. Population used for this study are students of SMAN 6 Madiun 2014/2015 school year as many as 218 students with a sample of 109 students. Sampling technique used by the author is the technique  of Cluster Sampling, sampling was conducted with a random sample. In this study the authors propose three hypotheses: (1) the first minor hypothesis which says : there is significant influence career guidance in schools on student career choice, (2) a second minor hypothesis which says: there is significant influence of socio-economic status of parents towards election student’s career, (3) major hypothesis reads: significant influence career guidance in schools and socio-economic status of parents of student career choice. Data were analyzed using multiple linier regression techniques. Model of the regression line equation Y = 65,703 + 0,185 + 0,089 a subsequent analysis result showed that : (1) career guidance in schools affect the career choice of students who proved t > t table (4,420 > 1,983), (2) socio-economic status of parents affects the career choice of students who proved t > t table (2,068 > 1,983), (3) career guidance at school and socio economic status of parents affects the career choice of students who proved F count > F table (13,339 >3,08). Based on these results can be summarized as follows: (1) the first minor hypothesis is accepted, (2) a second minor hypothesis is accepted, (3) major hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research is to know kinds of setences whrch are used by teachers at  Sunday School in reletelling about bible’s characters at Sunday School of GUP “HARVEST” Madiun based on their meaning and their quantity of clauses. The date is setences whrch are spoken then transcripted into 7 kinds of writing at Sunday School. They are namely: (1) they song of herdsmen welcoming the born of Jesus Christ, (2) King Ahab, (3) Micah prophet, (4) Jesus heals his mother in low, (5) sunem’s women, (6) Marta and Maria, and (7) Maria, Jesus mother. The result of analysis. 1. Kind of setences whrch is used based on their meanings, there are 185 setences, then brouped based on the kind of setences seen from the meaning, namely report sentences which are found 121 times. There are 12 imperative setences are found. There are question 25 setences are found, then groupet into 2 kinds of question, namely there are 18 setences in common question and 7 setences rethorical question. There are 27 attentive setences are found.2. Kind of setences based on the number of clauses found 57 complete setences and 40 compound setences, then groupet based on the relation among clauses found 27 equal compaund sentences do note exist. In conclusion, report setences of declarative sentences are the most in use because the research’s characteristic is to report a story at event and complete sentences is more in  uis than compound sentences because the listeners of the research are children. Abstract

This minithesis writing effected by researchers to seek efforts to correct the mistakes done by the students of Courses of Guidance and Counselling and Education of Mathematics in using Indonesian language properly in writing a minithesis which includes aspects of writing effective sentences, use of spelling, and word choice. This minithesis used qualitative deskripstif method. The data source in the form of minitheses, i.e. 5 minithesis students of Courses of Guidance and Counselling and 5 minithesis student of Mathematics Education. Based on the analysis of the data, in Indonesia language usage in the minithesis there are errors in the (1) writing the spelling as much as 122 errors, including 94 errors in minithesis  student  of  Course  Guidance  and  Counseling  and  28  errors  in Education of Mathematical courses, (2) the use of effective sentence as many as 10 errors in the minithesis student of Guidance and Counselling Courses and 2 errors in Education of Mathematics minithesis, and (3) the election as 6 said errors in the minithesis student of Guidance and Counselling Courses. The frequency  of  errors  that  often  arise  due  to  (1)  the  lack  of  mastery  of  the Indonesian language, (2) less meticulously mastered spelling, the use of sentence effective, and word choice, (3) factors of recurrent errors caused by incorrect understanding of the use of a good and correct spelling, and (4) factors of less care with spelling, use of effective sentences, and word choice so that mastery of language Indonesia is regarded as less important.   Key words: analysis, fault, the language of Indonesia, minithesis

Abstract

This research aims to know and explain the characters, plot, setting, theme, and the role of women which covers three aspects, namely the education of women, the position of the woman in the family, and the role of the social character of women in society. Use a descriptive qualitative approach. Data source: Endah Alberthiene Athirah novel works. Characterizations: Athirah, Kerra, Mufidah, Jusuf Kalla, Haji, and Mohamad. The depiction of the character of the offender/figure using the techniques ekspositori and dramatic. Plot: plot mix. The setting of the place took place in Makassar. The setting time of incident at dawn, noon, afternoon, and evening in 1920-1970. A major theme in the novel is the struggle of a woman dipoligami. A minor theme is patience and sincerity, kindness his wife, struggle, love and family. Athirah and Kerra gets informal education, Mufidah get formal education and informal education. The position of the woman in the family as a son, wife, and mother of his children. Athirah is a very obedient son. A very obedient son Kerra. Mufidah and the very diligent. Athirah a wife who loves her husband, she continued to fight polygamy victims although finally defeated and resigned. Kerra are a wife to her husband, she was a victim of polygamy since resigned to accept the situation. Mufidah a wife who always supports the decision of her husband, she was the girl's anti polygamy. Athirah deeply loved his children. Kerra a mother loves her children. Mufidah is concerned his children. The social role of the woman in society: active women figures Athirah follow activities. Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) whether or not there is some difference of the students’ activation between groups of students who are taught by the conventional learning and the students’ activation of groups of students who are taught by the problem based learning, (2) whether or not there is some difference of the students’ mathematics studying achievement between groups of students who are taught by the conventional learning and the students’ mathematics studying achievement of groups of students who are taught by the problem based learning. This research is a quantitative Pre-Experimental Designs. It was implemented to the second semester students of the academic year 2014/2015 of Junior High School 4 Madiun with the class VII as population. While, the sample of this research was the students of the class VII J as control class using conventional learning, then class VII H as an experimental class using problem based learning The techniques of data collection used were test and non test (observation). The instrument used in the test was studying achievement test and observation sheet of students’ activation. Test instrument was validated and tested to determine the reliability. Based on the hypothesis’ test obtained: (1) there is no difference of the students’ activation between groups of students who are taught by the conventional learning and groups of students who are taught by the problem based learning. (2) there is some difference of the students’ mathematics studying achievement between groups of students who are taught by the conventional learning and groups of students who are taught by the problem based learning. Abstract

This research aims to determine: whether there is a difference in students' critical thinking skills that are taught math using Problem Based Learning (PBM) with the Open-Ended Problem approach and the students’ critical thinking abilityof mathematics which are taught using conventional learning. This research is quantitative. The research was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2014/2015 in SMPN 6 Madiun with a population of class VII. While the sample is VIIH classes are taught using Problem Based Learning (PBM) with the approach of the Open-Ended Problems and VIIG classes are taught using conventional learning. Data collection techniques using the test method. The sampling technique in this study using cluster random sampling. The instruments used in the test method is a test of critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills math test used to determine students' critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems. The research instrument is a matter of critical thinking skills test is validated before tested. Based test for normality and homogeneity tests showed that samples of normal distribution and variants from the population with homogeneous, then the statistical test followed by t test. The result showed that there were differences in the ability of critical thinking math students taught using Problem Based Learning (PBM) with the approach of the Open-Ended Problem math and critical thinking skills of students who are taught using conventional learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine: Is there a difference in learning achievement and interest in learning math among groups of students taught by using the method of administration tasks and groups of students taught using expository method? This study is a quasi-experimental quantitative research. The research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014 in SMPN 6 Madiun with a population of class VII. While the sample is VIID class as a class experiment using Learning Math Learning Provision of tasks and class VIIC as the control class with Expository learning. Data collection techniques using the test method and non test (questionnaire). Instruments used in the test method is the achievement test, while the non-test methods such as questionnaires interest. Achievement test used to determine students 'learning achievement while interest questionnaire used to determine students' interest in learning mathematics. Based on the results of research and statistical analysis diperloeh: Learning achievement and interest in learning math students who use the Learning Mathematics Learning Task Giving no better than learning achievement that use expository.
