Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Pernyataan ini menjelaskan perilaku etis seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan artikel dalam Jurnal Tematik, termasuk penulis, dewan penyunting, mitra bestari, dan penerbit. Abstract

The interactions in Indonesian early childhood classes are still traditionally done without using digital visuals. The impact is that the data obtained is difficult to be reexamined. Therefore, this paper focuses on how digital visual observation is applied in investigating the quality of teacher-child interactions, it is used to determine the context or individuals associated with interaction, the impact of teacher-child interactions on child development. Data was collected through observation on 6 teachers with the number of children was 15 children. The study found that visual data illustrates various features of teacher-child interaction. Digital video observation provides a holistic view on the process of interaction, dominance in teacher-child interactions, and the impact of interactions on children's development in documenting all features and processes of child development that cannot be captured through traditional observations. In particular, digital visual observation brings a new perspective and becomes an effective methodological tool for understanding teacher-child interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to produce comic-based learning media. This type of research is development carried out through development which consists of research and research data, planning, product development, expert testing, field testing, and product improvement. The subjects of this study were 21 students. Feasibility is evidenced by the quality of the media made based on the order of material obtained by 4.25 or valid. Student response questionnaires were also conducted with the results obtained, namely 4.5 or very valid. The teacher response questionnaire obtained a score of 4.5 or very valid. Student responses to the simple comics that were developed were ≥ 60% of the 21 class IV respondent students to the 15 questionnaires. This means that the 15 questionnaires were responded positively by the students, while the response to the teacher's questionnaire was ≥ 60% of a respondent from SDN 14 Simbolon Purba to 12 questionnaires and responded positively by the teacher

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase instudent learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model in social studies learning material on social problems in the local environment grade 4th SDN 101777 Saentis. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is conducted in two cycles. The instrument used in this study is based on the results of observations in each cycle. Subjects in the study were 30 fourth grade students of SDN 101777 Saentis. The preliminary data of the study used a pretest value which showed an average value of 64.50. Whereas the student learning outcomes also increased, where from the average obtained from the post test cycle I was 70.83 and had student learning completeness of 53.33% (16 students) and increased in the results of the post test cycle II, namely obtaining a value an average of 88.16 and had student learning completeness of 93.33% (28 students). This proves that the next cycle is not necessary. Therefore, the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model has been proven to increase the activity and social studies learning outcomes of students on social issues in the local environment in grade 4th SDN 101777 Saentis

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to implement an academic culture and to determine the improvement of the thesis writing quality of PG PAUD students through the application of academic culture. This research was conducted in department of PG-PAUD. The sample in this study were PG PAUD students who were working on their thesis and thesis supervisor. This type of research is qualitative research with survey methods. The collect data through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Based on the survey results, it can be concluded that the application of a culture of academic quality in improving the thesis in the PG-PAUD FIP UNIMED Study Program has been carried out by 91% of the thesis supervisors. The average application of the culture of academic quality in improving the thesis carried out by the thesis supervisor is in the very good category. The implementation of a culture of academic quality in improving the thesis in the PG-PAUD FIP UNIMED Study Program has been carried out by 83% or almost all of the thesis compilers. The average application of the culture of academic quality in improving the thesis carried out by thesis compilers is in the very good category. Aspects of thorough, rational, objective, honest, open, and productive have been applied by 100% or all students who compile the thesis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) How is the quality of learning tools developed through the RME approach in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness, 2) How to improve students' problem-solving abilities by using learning tools developed through the RME approach. The tools developed consisted of: lesson plans, worksheets, student books (BS), learning outcomes test (THB) which were designed using the RME approach to measure the improvement in mathematical problem solving of junior high school students. This research is a development research using the Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel learning tools development model, namely a modified 4-D model. The results of the data analysis that have been obtained indicate that the learning device through the RME approach in the rectangular material of class VII-A SMP PAB 2 Helvetia is valid, practical and effective. Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menguji kevalidan produk modul tematik berbasis karakter. Modul ini berguna untuk memadukan materi pembelajaran dengan nilai-nilai karakter di dalamnya. Modul berbasis karakter mengajarkan beberapa nilai-nilai karakter yaitu religius, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, gemar membaca dan tanggung jawab. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu metode menurut Borg & Gall. Tahapan pengembangan produk modul ini, yaitu: 1) Potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba produk, 7) revisi produk 8) uji coba pemakaian, 9) revisi produk, dan 10) produk masal. Tetapi penelitian ini hanya memungkinkan sampai dengan tahap 4. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari instrumen angket dan dinyatakan sangat valid oleh para ahli. Hasil validasi dari segi materi memperoleh presentase 83,3%, segi media memperoleh presentase 92,5, dan dari segi pembelajaran memperoleh presentase 93,3% semua dikategorikan sangat valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of gadgets on language development of children aged 3-6 years in kindergarten. Kartika Tebing Tinggi. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. Data analysis techniques used were observation and interview sheets. The results of the study can be seen from the percentage of each child including the percentage of each child including KAZ of 46.87%, AV of 68.75%, SA 93.75%, AA 46.87%, KA 71.87%, GR 43.75%, RB 50%, 46.25%, F 40.62 %, RA 37.50%. Thus the overall average impact of gadgets on language development of children aged 3-6 years obtains a percentage of 54.06%. This can also be seen from the number of children who are considered poor, consisting of 7 out of 10 children with a percentage of 70%. As much as 1 child out of 10 reaches the criteria sufficient with a percentage of 10%, as many as 1 child out of 10 reaches the good criteria with a percentage of 10%, 1 child out of 10 achieves very good criteria with a percentage of 10. Because children are too focused on gadgets and parents do not limit the use of gadgets.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematics creativity and student activity in mathematics learning in grade 2sd junior hight school Negeri 4 Panyabungan on the subject of Cubes and Blocks. The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematical creativity on the subject of cubes and blocks and also to increase student learning activities by implementing inquiry learning strategies in the learning process. This type of research is classroom action research. The results of creativity obtained from research in the first cycle of 53.85% were complete and the second cycle was 80.77% of the 26 students who took the learning test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' mathematical creativity, student activity and the ability of teachers to apply inquiry learning strategies in class VIII-I of SMP Negeri 4 Panyabungan

Abstract

The problem of this research is less innovation learning during pandemic crisis, it makes the student critical thinking skill became low than before. The general purpose of the research is to improve student critical thinking skills by using discovery learning model assisted by google meet on 5 th class elementary school in science subject content. the type of research is classroom action research by using 2 cycle  instrument test, assesment rubric critical thinking skill, and observation sheet. The percentage of student learning outcomes in Cycle I was 74.07% and cycle II was 85.18%. Meanwhile, the analysis of critical thinking skills in the first cycle was 84.6% high category and the second cycle was 88.9% very high category.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) produce a spiritual quality assessment product in thematic learning for grades IV and V in elementary school; (2) the level of validity and reliability of the spiritual attitude assessment instrument in integrated thematic learning in fourth and fifth grade elementary schools; (3) knowing the quality of spiritual attitude instruments in integrated thematic learning for grades IV and V in elementary school. This type of research is research and development (R&D), with a three-stage procedure, namely 1). preliminary study, 2). development, and 3). product testing. The research subjects were 145 students of class IV and V elementary school. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale instrument. The results showed that (1) the spiritual attitude assessment instrument in integrated thematic learning for grades IV and V in elementary school produced attitudes with a score scale of 1-5; (2) the spiritual attitude assessment instrument in integrated thematic learning in elementary grades IV and V SD has a validity level in the initial product trial of 0.19 rhit 0.63, then the validity of the instrument is low and invalid; the final product trial to 1 0.41 rhit 0.75, then the instrument validity is high; and the second final product trial was 0.31≤rhit 0.73, then the instrument validity was high. The reliability of the spiritual attitude assessment instrument in thematic learning is shown by = 0.88; 0.95 and = 0.95, then the research instrument is very reliable; (3) the validity of spiritual attitude instrument in integrated thematic learning of grades IV and V in elementary school is high and very reliable, then the quality of the spiritual attitude assessment instrument is good and feasible to use. Keywords: Development, assessment instruments, spiritual attitudes, thematics, elementary students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan produk instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas IV dan V di SD; (2) menentukan tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu di SD kelas IV dan V SD; (3) mengetahui kualitas instrumen sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas IV dan V di SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D), dengan prosedur 3 tahap yaitu 1). studi pendahuluan, 2). pengembangan, dan 3). pengujian produk. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV dan V SD sebanyak 145. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan instrumen skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas IV dan V di SD yang dihasilkan berupa skala sikap dengan skore 1-5; (2) instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu di SD kelas IV dan V SD memiliki tingkat validitas pada uji coba produk awal 0,19 ≤rhit ≥ 0,63, maka validitas instrumen rendah dan tidak valid; uji coba produk akhir ke 1 0,41 ≤rhit ≥0,75, maka validitas instrumen tinggi; dan uji coba produk akhir ke 2 0,31≤rhit ≥0,73, maka validitas instrumen tinggi. Reliabilitas instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik ditunjukkan melalui α= 0,88; 0,95 dan α= 0,95,  maka instrumen penelitian sangat realibel; (3) validitas instrumen sikap spiritual dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas IV dan V di SD adalah tinggi dan sangat reliabel, maka kualitas instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual adalah baik dan layak digunakan.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, instrumen penilaian, sikap spiritual, tematik terpadu, siswa SD
