Abstract

This paper documents an analysis result of various research articles that discuss aspects of educational quality, either the quality of input, process, output, and outcome. The articles that are analyzed are 20 articles from 2014-2022, which were accredited nationally and non-SINTA. It aims to determine the influence and role of the quality aspects of education that take place in an educational institution on the quality management of education in elementary schools. The type of research is a literature review using a systematic scheme that provides an overview of article publications with the number of data searches at 30 articles. After conducting the review process, 20 articles match the criteria. The research results reveal that there were 9 articles accredited SINTA 3, 2 articles SINTA 2, 3 articles SINTA 4, 2 SINTA articles 5, and 4 non-SINTA articles. Of the 20 articles analyzed, 14 articles discussed input aspects, 4 articles discussed process aspects, 1 article discussed input-process aspects, and 1 article discussed input, process, and output aspects. The analysis results indicate that the input aspects of school principals and teachers have a positive influence and a significant role in managing the quality of education in elementary schools. Nevertheless, there is still a lack of the influence and role of the process, output, and outcome aspects in managing the quality ofelementary school education.

Abstract

This paper discusses the validity and reliability of a measuring tool that reflects active learning in elementary schools, which is called the Active-Learning-in-Primary-School Scale (SPASD). The research was quantitative, which adheres to the idea of item-response- theory. The data used was secondary that was obtained from the Managing-Good-Practice-for- Basic-Education program, which was collected under the sponsorship of the European Commission based on five different provinces in Indonesia using a questionnaire developed under the coordination of UNICEF even though it has not been statistically validated. The sample of 1021 primary school teachers met the requirements for analysis. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis proves that there are several constructs. Seven valid dimensions were found namely training utilization, teaching planning, learning process, and evaluation, use of media, teacher professional satisfaction, and classroom climate. Some items were removed because they were not valid, even though all the hypothesized constructs remained valid and reliable. In conclusion, the tested scale was valid and reliable with a slight modification of the structure. It is recommended that the application of the constructs should bere-confirmed if it is applied in the context of different places, cultures, and school conditions.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a skill in thinking by using the process of analyzing and evaluating a problem to produce the right decisions in solving the problem. PJBL is a learning model that applies problems as the first stage in acquiring new knowledge based on the experience of concrete life activities. Project Based Learning is a learning model that provides opportunities for teachers to manage learning in class by involving work projects. This paper describes the implementation of the project-based learning (PjBL) model in improving students' critical thinking skills. The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research design models. The cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at SDN 004 Rantau Kopar. The research subjects involved 22 students of class III (Three). Teacher and students activities increased from cycle I to cycle II with an average teacher activity score of 69.92. Meanwhile, student activity average scores were 67.89, both of which increased in each cycle. Conversely, the results of critical thinking skills indicate a significant increase to a very good category, with an average value of 53, 70, and 85 for each cycle. After conducting the improvement phase in cycle II, the student test results reveal a significant increase to a very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to increase teacher creativity. The approach applied is a correlational approach and SITOREM analysis. The implementation of this research was carried out at public elementary schools in Cibungbulang District. With a population of 166 teachers and a sample of 117 teachers, this sample was selected using the proportional random sampling method. Furthermore, the methods used in this research are survey methods and data analysis techniques, with correlation tests and simple linear and multiple linear regression tests. The results of the research that has been carried out the show: 1. there is a significant positive relationship between the variables Achievement Motivation (X1) and Teacher Creativity (Y) with ry1 = 0.714. 2. There is a significant positive relationship between Information Literacy (X2) and Teacher Creativity (Y) variables with ry2 = 0.529. 3. there is a positive and significant relationship between the variable Achievement Motivation (X1) and Information Literacy (X2) together with Teacher Creativity (Y) with ry12 = 0.723. So it means that Teacher Creativity can be increased through Achievement Motivation and Information Literacy.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the learning process and the learning outcomes of students in limited face-to-face learning. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, the research subjects were class V teachers and fifth grade students. The research instruments used were interview text, observation, documentation. The validity of the data obtained was tested using the triangulation test, and the analysis process used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show that the implementation of limited face-to-face learning at elementary school is carried out in compliance with health protocols. The learning process in the classroom the teacher explains the material briefly, concisely and clearly, after that gives examples of practice questions to students. In the learning activities the teacher uses the talking stick learning method, lectures and explanations of sample questions. The learning activities in the class are quite active, and the learning outcomes achieved by students have been able to reach the specified KKM. However, in the learning process it is still teacher center, so it needs to be developed into a student center so that the learning process is more meaningful for students. So that students are given the freedom to explore knowledge independently more deeply and improve self-quality.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in every teaching and learning process in schools. In the learning process, various skills are needed for the continuity of the learning process, one of which is the skill of making lesson plans. The skill of a teacher in making lesson plans determines the learning outcomes that will be accepted by students. This study aims to analyze the effect of RADEC-based workshop activities in improving the skills of elementary school teachers to make good lesson plans. This study uses the One Group pretest posttest method with a sample of elementary school teachers in Purwakarta Regency. The instrument used is the result of adaptation of the assessment of the learning implementation plan in the PPG program. There are seven indicators used in the instrument used. The results showed that the RADEC model had an impact on teachers in developing learning planning skills. The average n-gain score obtained from this study was 58 which was categorized as quite effective.

Abstract

to be more active are picture and picture models assisted by learning video media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of picture and picture learning models assisted by learning video media on the learning resilts of the cognitive domain of class III students theme 6 Energy and Change. This research was conducted at SDN Babadan 1 Paron. This study used quantitative approach, PreExperimental method and OneGroup Pretest-Posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the use of picture and picture learning models assisted by video learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade III students theme 6 Energy and its Changes subtheme 2 Energy Change at SDN Babadan 1 Paron. It is indicated by the value of Sig.(2-tailed) which is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 and it is known that the tcount > ttable is 4.755 > 2.074 (0.05/2). So the conclusion is that the picture and picture learning model assisted by learning video media is effective for use in the learning process in class III theme 6 Energy and its changes subtheme 2 Energy Change.
