Abstract

This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes in subjects PPKn sixth grade students of SDN 002 Ukui Dua. This research is motivated by the low activity and low teacher and student learning outcomes in subjects PPKn. The problem of this study is whether the implementation of a strategy to answer alternately patterned circle round robin can improve student learning outcomes in subjects PPKn in the sixth grade SDN 002 Ukui Dua? This PPKn was conducted over two cycles. Data collection techniques in this research using collection observation techniques, achievement test, and documentation. Techniques of analysis in this study is an analysis of the activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes in subjects PPKn sixth grade students SDN 02 Ukui Dua Kecamatant Ukui. The result showed that the activity of teachers has increased. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 41% was obtained with Simply Perfect category and the second meeting reached 55% with the category Fairly Perfect. In the second cycle 3 meeting to reach 75% by the Perfect category and the 4th meeting of the second cycle reaches 85% with the Perfect category. While the activity of students has increased. At the first meeting of the first cycle reaches 51% with the category Fairly Perfect and the second meeting with the percentage of 66% to the category Perfect. After the second cycle of the third meeting with a percentage of 75% with the Perfect category while in attendance for-4 with the percentage of 94% to the category of Most Perfect. Learning outcomes of students also increased from the previous students who achieve KKM only 8 votes with a percentage (45%) after the first cycle an increase in students worth over KKM which reached 14 people with a percentage of 70%. Cycle II students who achieve KKM 17 (85%).

Abstract

The low learning outcomes in Civics among fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 017 Bagan Limau formed the background of this study. This research aimed to improve Civics learning outcomes through the implementation of a mastery learning model. The study employed classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The data used were students’ Civics learning outcome scores. The results revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes. This improvement was evidenced by: (a) preliminary data showing that only 50% of students achieved mastery, which increased to 76% in the first cycle and reached 90% class mastery in the second cycle; and (b) an increase in the average student score from a baseline of 65 to 68.25 in the first cycle, and further to 74.5 in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the mastery learning model effectively improves Civics learning outcomes for fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 017 Bagan Limau.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low Civics learning outcomes among students. The low achievement was caused by several factors: (a) students did not pay sufficient attention to Civics lessons and tended to talk to one another while the teacher was explaining; (b) students were not actively involved in the learning process; (c) when the teacher asked questions, only a few students responded; and (d) only a small number of students asked questions about material they did not understand. In addition, classroom learning activities were largely teacher-centered, resulting in limited student participation. This study aimed to improve Civics learning outcomes through the implementation of the cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT). The research employed classroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 018 Ukui, Ukui Subdistrict. The study focused on data related to students’ Civics learning outcomes. The results of the study indicated an improvement in students’ Civics learning outcomes. This was evidenced by an increase in the number of students achieving mastery: in the preliminary data, only 15 students (50%) met the passing criteria; this number increased to 26 students (87%) in the first cycle and further rose to 27 students (90%) in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model NHT effectively improves Civics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low result of study biology class V students of SD Negeri 029 Rumbai, it is marked by the acquisition value of an average of 52.50. The low yield of this study because students are paying less attention to the teacher learning, passive learning of students in participating. This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes biology, as well as improving the learning activities of teachers and students using direct learning model. Research was conducted during two cycles, where research on SDN 029 Rumbai with esearch subjects are students are students of class V with a total of 25 students. Data collection techniques used in this study was the observation techniques, test engineering and technical documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, found that the learning outcomes of students has increased in each cycle is reinforced by the results that have been raised previously, namely: (1) in the first cycle biology mastery learning outcomes of students increased by 68%; (2) in the second cycle biology mastery learning outcomes of students increased by 88%; (3) in the first cycle of learning activities of students gained 84.42%, whereas in the second cycle of 83.62%; (5) in the first cycle of learning activities for teachers to get 82.96%, while the second cycle of activity the teacher's activities gained 84.09%. This indicates that the completeness kasikal has been reached, in which the research is successful if the completeness achieved 80% of students obtaining a minimum value of 65. Based on the results and the discussion can be concluded that the application of the model pembelajarn directly to improve learning outcomes biology class V students of SD Negeri 029 Rumbai, Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low Civics learning outcomes among students. The low level of achievement was caused by several factors: (a) teaching methods applied by teachers tended to be passive and monotonous; and (b) students were more inclined to engage in off-task behavior during lessons. This study aimed to improve students’ Civics learning outcomes. The research employed classroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 012 Silikuan Hulu. The data used in this study included observations of teacher and student activities as well as students’ Civics learning outcomes. The results of the study revealed improvements in both teacher and student activities, which were followed by increased student learning outcomes. This improvement was evidenced by the following findings: based on preliminary data, only 10 students achieved mastery. In the first cycle, the number of students who completed the learning objectives increased to 15, and further increased to 17 students in the second cycle. Teacher activity also showed improvement, with the percentage of teacher activity increasing from 47% in the first meeting of the first cycle to 56% in the second meeting. In the second cycle, teacher activity rose to 68% in the first meeting and further increased to 73% in the second meeting. Similarly, student activity increased across the cycles. In the first cycle, student activity reached 50% in the first meeting and rose to 57% in the second meeting. In the second cycle, student activity increased to 65% in the first meeting and reached 82% in the second meeting. These results indicate that improvements in teaching practices and student engagement contributed to better Civics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this study was the low Civics (PPKn) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 012 Silikuan Hulu. This research employed classroom action research conducted in Grade V of SD Negeri 012 Silikuan Hulu and was carried out in two cycles. The data used in this study focused on improving students’ Civics learning outcomes. The results of the study indicated an improvement in students’ Civics (PPKn) learning outcomes. This was consistent with the research findings, which showed that based on the preliminary data, the average student score was 60. In the first cycle, the average score increased to 65, and in the second cycle, it further increased to 70. In addition, the number of students who achieved mastery also increased. In the preliminary data, only 6 students met the mastery criteria; this number increased to 9 students in the first cycle and further rose to 12 students in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the assignment method effectively improves Civics (PPKn) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 012 Silikuan Hulu.

Abstract

The background of this study was the low learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) among fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 010 Banjar Panjang, Kerumutan Subdistrict. Of the 28 students, only 12 achieved the school’s minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 65. The low PAI learning outcomes were caused by several factors: (a) the instructional methods used by teachers were predominantly lectures, discussions, and assignments; (b) teachers did not provide concrete examples closely related to students’ daily lives when presenting the material; (c) teachers tended to assign students to work only on textbook exercises; and (d) teachers rarely communicated learning objectives and provided limited motivation to students. This study employed classroom action research conducted in two cycles by implementing the Modeling the Way learning strategy. Based on the research results, the data showed that PAI learning outcomes improved in each cycle. This improvement was evidenced by: (a) increased teacher activity in each cycle, with the first cycle meeting I obtaining a score of 3 (60.00%), the first cycle meeting II also obtaining a score of 3 (60.00%), the second cycle meeting I obtaining a score of 4 (80.00%), and the second cycle meeting II obtaining a score of 5 (100%); and (b) improved student PAI learning outcomes, with the average score in the first cycle reaching 71 and increasing to 77.3 in the second cycle. In addition, students’ mastery learning also increased, with 20 students (71.00%) achieving mastery in the first cycle and 24 students (85.00%) in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Modeling the Way learning strategy effectively improves PAI learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 010 Banjar Panjang.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the learning outcomes through the use of media map. The subjects were students of class II SD 025 Bintan Kecamatan Dumai Timur. This study was conducted over two cycles. Improved learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning completeness students both individually and classical completeness and thoroughness of learning outcomes. The instrument used for data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that is done after the process of learning results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 93.93% categorized as very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized with an average of 90. Meanwhile, mastery learning outcomes of students declared complete 100%

Abstract

The background of this study was the low learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 002 Kiyap Jaya. This condition was evidenced by the average student score of 65, with only 50% of students achieving learning mastery. This research employed classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The data used in this study included observations of teacher and student activities as well as students’ PAI learning outcomes. Based on the research results, the application of the Direct Instruction learning model was able to improve learning outcomes. This improvement was evidenced by: (a) increased teacher activity in each cycle. In the first cycle, the first meeting showed a teacher activity score of 12 (48.00%) in the “low” category, which increased to 17 (68.00%) in the second meeting with a “fair” category. In the second cycle, teacher activity further improved to 20 (80.00%) in the first meeting with a “good” category and reached 23 (92.00%) in the second meeting with a “very good” category. Student activity also increased across cycles. In the first cycle, the first meeting showed a student activity score of 11 (44.00%) in the “low” category, which increased to 16 (64.00%) in the second meeting with a “fair” category. In the second cycle, student activity increased to 19 (76.00%) in the first meeting with a “good” category and reached 22 (88.00%) in the second meeting with a “very good” category; and (b) improved PAI learning outcomes. Based on preliminary data, the average student score was 65 with a mastery percentage of 50%. In the first cycle, the average score increased to 69.25 with a mastery percentage of 70%, and in the second cycle, it further increased to 74.5 with a mastery percentage of 85%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Direct Instruction learning model effectively improves PAI learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 002 Kiyap Jaya.

Abstract

The background of this study includes: (1) the majority of students are reluctant to play volleyball because they find it difficult; (2) many students still do not perform the basic volleyball motions correctly; and (3) most students have not yet mastered the underhand pass, making it difficult to direct the ball to their peers. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of underhand passing using the peer teaching learning strategy for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 001 Empat Balai, Kecamatan Kuok, Kampar. The research was conducted with fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 001 Empat Balai, Kecamatan Kuok, Kampar, over a period of four months, from January 2015 to April 2015. This study employed a classroom action research design. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets for both teacher and student activities, as well as performance assessment tools. Based on the results and discussion, the basic motor skills of underhand passing for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 001 Empat Balai, Kecamatan Kuok, Kabupaten Kampar could be improved through peer teaching strategies. This conclusion is supported by the following findings: (1) the initial test of students’ abilities before applying the peer teaching strategy showed an average score of 64.7, categorized as fairly competent; (2) in the first cycle, the average student ability increased to 71.1, categorized as competent; and (3) in the second cycle, the average student ability reached 77.1, still in the competent category, with 80% completeness. This indicates that the classical completeness has been achieved, as the research is considered successful if at least 80% of students score a minimum of 70.
