Abstract

Kepemilikan media massa menjadi alat yang paling efektif dalam mengejar globalisasi dan hegemoni penguasa elit Atas khayak. Akibatnya media massa tidak memberikan ruang bagi masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses produksi, yang menyebabkan kesenjangan antara media massa dan khalayak. Kemampuan literasi media bagi masyarakat yang hidup ditengah-tengah dunia sesak media (media satuarated world) dan pengaruh Hegemoni dipandang sebagai kebutuhan yang sangat mendesak untuk membangun kompetensi khalayak dalam mengendalikan isi media untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The TikTok application, video social platform supported by music. Whether it's dance music, freestyle, or performance. Makers are encouraged to be as creative as possible and imagine freely and express their expressions by using this application. This application is also currently very popular with teenagers. This study aims to determine the effect of using the TikTok application on the behavior of teenagers in Langsa City. In this study, the sample taken by researchers was 59 respondents. This research uses quantitative research methods. The technique used in this study is Nonprobability Sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used in this research is product moment and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, it was found that thecalculated 21.019 > Ftable 2.002. Shows the value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05 then, it is certain that there is an influence between the independent variable (X) on the related variable (Y) in this study. Then it is known that the value of the Pearson correlation is 0.519 with a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000. Obtaining this score means that the variable that influences the use of the Tiktok application has a correlation with the child's behavior variable with a value of 0.519 . moments)

Abstract

Urban farming activities are not only useful for providing local food crops, but also provide benefits in forming superior character for those involved. A number of studies state that urban farming activities carried out by students at school can increase students' creativity, environmental awareness, cooperation, responsibility and discipline. Urban farming with a hydroponic concept that utilizes waste will provide more meaningful learning for students, because it not only introduces students to agriculture, but also applies the 3R concept (reduce, reuse, recycle) which is useful for waste management. This community service program aims to provide knowledge and skills for students and teachers at SD Negeri 69 Barru so they can cultivate plants through a simple hydroponic system using plastic waste, as part of urban farming education and the 3R concept, as well as creating educational facilities for students. This community service activity is carried out in 4 stages, namely the coordination, planning, implementation and evaluation stages, with the implementation using lecture, discussion and direct practice techniques. The results of this community service activity have fulfilled the program objectives, where after the implementation of the activity it has an impact on increasing participants' knowledge and skills in hydroponic cultivation; helping schools provide learning facilities for urban farming, hydroponics and the 3R concept; creating 3R awareness in schools by utilizing plastic waste; as well as creating green open spaces for educational facilities for students.

Abstract

Pengobatan jerawat di klinik kulit biasanya menggunakan antibiotik yang dapat menghambat inflamasi dan membunuh bakteri. Penggunaan antibiotik jangka panjang dapat menimbulkan resistensi antibiotik. Efek samping penggunaan antibiotik dapat dikurangi dengan mengganti bahan aktif obat yang diperoleh dari alam seperti kulit kentang yang mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri penyebab jerawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa ekstrak kulit kentang dapat di formulasikan menjadi sediaan krim dan memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap S.epidermidis dan P.acnes. Ekstrak diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim dengan konsentrasi ekstrak berbeda yaitu F1 (15%), F2 (30%) dan F3 (45%) dengan menggunakan asam stearat, paraffin liquidum, adeps lanae sebagai fase minyak dan TEA, aquadest sebagai fase air, dan metil paraben sebagai pengawet. Kemudian diuji sifat fisik sediaan meliputi ,homogenitas, pemeriksaan organoleptis, pengukuran pH, viskositas, daya sebar, daya lekat, uji stabilitas dan uji antibakteri. Hasil evaluasi sediaan memiliki nilai pH berkisar  antara 6,2 - 8,1, viskositas berkisar antara  3120  - 4920 cps, daya sebar antara 5,3 - 6,7 cm, dan daya lekat 4,2 - 5,3 detik. Setiap formula stabil dalam penyimpanan cycling test serta penyimpanan suhu 40ºC ± 2ºC, 28ºC ± 2ºC, 4ºC ± 2ºC dan ketiga formula memiliki sifat antibakteri terhadap S.epidermidis dan P.acnes. Luas zona hambat F1 (7,61 mm), F2 (8,47 mm) dan F3 (9,92 mm) terhadap S.epidermidis dan Luas zona hambat F1 (7,58 mm), F2 (7,86 mm) dan F3 (9,65 mm) terhadap P.acnes. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ekstrak kulit kentang dapat diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim dan memiliki zona hambat terhadap S.epidermidis dan P.acnes.

Abstract

Interaction ability and Improvement of a person's personality and character can be encouraged through stimulus with learning strategies that foster children's interest, for example introducing stacking block games in early childhood. Students at Boh Hate Ma Kindergarten are very enthusiastic about stacking block games. Abstract

This article researches the East Aceh regency government's effort to give the concept and persuade society around tourism destination places related to the halal tourism concept raised by the government. This research uses a constructive paradigm and also a qualitative approach. Maximum variation technique is used in collecting data, consideration of large area and diversity of people to be involved; all of these are the key factor in this case. Data collection is sliced using the Diffusion Theory cutter by Gabriel Tarde. The result of this research shows that many communication available ways are used in making an effort by the East Aceh government, including by making an interpersonal approach with the informal leader and leading religious figures give impact toward implementing halal tourism in East Aceh regency.

Abstract

Kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) and soursop (Annona muricata L.) have many properties to cure several diseases, including antihiperurisemia, which is a disorder of purine metabolism in which patients experience increased uric acid levels. This study aimed to examine the antihiperuricemia effect of a combination of kersen leaf extract and soursop in male rats orally. Extraction was carried out by maceration using 70% ethanol. This research is a laboratory experimental study using male white mice as test animals. Data were processed in the form of ANOVA and LSD (Least Significant Difference) test results to compare between groups P0 (normal control), PI (negative control), P2 (Allopurinol 9 mg/Kg BW), P3 (410 and 3.5 mg/Kg BW), P4 (410 and 7 mg/Kg BW), P5 (410 and 10.5 mg/Kg BW), P6 (610 and 3.5 mg/Kg BW), P7 (610 and 7 mg/Kg BW), P8 (610 and 10.5 mg/Kg BW), P9 (910 and 3.5 mg/Kg BW), P10 (910 and 7 mg/Kg BW) ), P11 (910 and 10.5 mg/Kg BW). Giving the test material starting on the 8th to 14th day. On the 15th day blood was taken by slaughtering to measure uric acid levels using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. On examination of uric acid levels, the administration of beef liver can significantly increase uric acid levels in male rats. and the administration of kersen leaf extract and soursop leaves can significantly reduce uric acid levels in male rats. The administration of kersen leaf extract and soursop leaves for 7 days at doses of 910 and 10.5 mg/Kg BW most effectively reduced uric acid levels in hyperuricemic mice.   Keywords: Hyperuricemia, kersen leaves extract, soursop leaves extract

Abstract

Land cover changes occurring in a watershed will affect the ecosystem in that area. The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model is a tool that can be used to predict the impacts of land use on water, sedimentation, and chemical levels in a watershed. The Mamasa watershed is one of the sub-watersheds of the Saddang watershed, covering approximately 105,253 ha. This study aims to determine the land cover changes in the Mamasa watershed and their impacts on water discharge using the SWAT model. Several steps were undertaken, including image interpretation to obtain an overview of land cover in the years 2011, 2016, and 2020, which were then used to form Hydrology Response Units (HRU). Next, the SWAT model was run, involving delineating the watershed boundaries, defining HRU, integrating climate and HRU data, running SWAT simulations, and performing validation. The results of land cover classification from 2011 to 2016 showed an increase in secondary forest land by 4,896.68 ha (4.65%) and a decrease in shrubland by 9,500.60 ha (9.03%). The land cover classification from 2016 to 2020 indicated a decrease in secondary dry forest land by 6,349.43 ha (6.03%), with an increase in paddy field area by 3,141.92 ha (3%). These land cover changes led to a decreasing trend in water availability, as evidenced by increased discharge fluctuations from 16.50 to 21.65, in accordance with the SWAT simulation results, which increased from 6.73 in 2011 to 9.93 in 2020. The validation results of the SWAT model for the year 2011 showed a Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) value of 0.58 and and R2 value of 0.61. The validation for the year 2016 resulted in an NSE of 0.6 and an R2 of 0.68, while the validation for the year 2020 produced an NSE of 0.6 and an R2 of 0.65. All three validations fall under the satisfactory category, indicating that the SWAT model can be used to simulate the discharge of the Mamasa watershed.

Abstract

The Index of Land Potential (IPL) is a land evaluation method that aims to identify and utilize land according to its potential. Through IPL, it is expected to achieve optimal productivity and land sustainability. This research aims to determine the Paddy Field Potential Index with the IPL weighting method using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Gowa Regency. In this research, the method used is a tiered quantitative approach, where each parameter is given an appropriate weight. Overlapping techniques were applied to various maps used to assess land potential, including aspects of slope, soil type, lithology, hydrology, and disaster risk. The results of this study include a land potential index map and a map of paddy field potential in Gowa Regency. In the LMI, the dominating classes are low and very low, covering an area of 156,885.34 ha (72%), while the use of paddy fields in the very high and high potential classes covers an area of 20,604.48 ha (39%). The relationship between productivity and IPL is explained through the equation IPL = 0.1025P + 4.9539 with a value of R2 = 0.7809, which indicates that an increase in IPL can be a guide to increasing the productivity of rice plants..

Abstract

Portable vital sign devices with SpO2 (oxygen saturation in the blood) and heart rate parameters are designed to be portable devices that are easy to operate by users and can provide accurate monitoring results. This device uses SpO2 and heart rate sensors integrated with the ESP32 microcontroller, where the data reading results are displayed directly on the TFT screen. The measurement results from the device show that the average SpO2 value measured by this device has a difference of 0.4% with an average accuracy of 99.6% compared to the results of the standard device. The Heart Rate value has a difference of 3.2 BPM (beats per minute) with an average accuracy of 97.56% compared to the standard device. This shows that the device can be trusted to provide accurate vital data for users. With these advantages, the ESP32-based Vital Sign Monitor device is expected to be an efficient and economical solution for health monitoring in various environments, including homes and health facilities with limited resources
