Abstract

Other term elite schools from (leading Islamic schools, model schools, Integrated Islamic schools or favorite schools) are part of the national education system is a complete unit of all educational units and activities related to one another. Elite schools enter from the system. The emergence of Islamic elite schools is at least motivated to be a number of factors that support factors, ideology, social, historical, and psychological. The role of Islamic elite schools in the perspective of national education is expected to be able to respond to the problems of Islamic education that have been discussed next to education which only functions as spiritual. Abstract

This study aims to (1) Determine the formulation of early childhood tauhid learning materials in TK Rusyda Medan, (2) To find out the strategies used in early childhood learning in TK Rusyda Medan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The results showed that in TK Rusyda Tauhid learning was carried out with a number of material formulations namely about the introduction of Allah, about the introduction of the religion they professed, about the consequences of a Muslim who is associated with piety and good social behavior, around Islamic symbols either in the form of images or in the form of Islamic songs. The several methods used are exemplary methods, habituation methods, singing methods, story methods, stories, advice methods.

Abstract

Resistance of the tradition of learning the yellow book in the Al Washliyah madrassas departs from the following epistemological thoughts; (a). Thoughts about the primacy of religious knowledge (b). Mastery of the Yellow Book as the Main Criteria for Ulama, (c). Whereas the yellow book as part of the Al Washliyah sibgah (characteristic); (d). The consequences of self-engagement in the Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamâ'ah and the Shafi'i school of thought; and (e). Thoughts of belief in the results of the previous Ijtihad scholars. The effort to resist the tradition of learning the yellow book in the Al Washliyah madrassas is; (a). Efforts to silence religious science subject matter (b). The occurrence of a crisis of scholars; (c). Emerging and increasingly developed schools of thought or religious notions; and D). There is a negative impact on the development of internet technology. The forms of resistance in the tradition of book learning in the Al Washliyah madrasa are various, namely; (a) Consistently maintaining Al Washliyah's 100% diniyah curriculum and refusing to apply the Department of Religion curriculum; (b). Modifying the curriculum, where the Al Washliyah madrasa accepts the Department of Religion curriculum, but by manipulating teaching materials / materials in the field; (c) Implement learning by combining Al Washliyah's diniyah curriculum and the Department of Religion's curriculum with a proportion of 70% of the diniyah curriculum and 30% of the Department of Religion's curriculum, as well as in other madrasas the ratio is 50% curriculum of diniyah and 50% of the Department of Religion's curriculum; (d). Develop extracurricular programs

Abstract

Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU) is the Best Private University in North Sumatra. From innovative and innovative education and learning programs, finally students can become competent, intelligent and trustworthy and have exceptional competitiveness at both National and International levels. In realizing maximum education, especially in the formation of student religiosity attitudes that are in accordance with the values of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan, the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU) in collaboration with the Al-Islam Agency and kemuhammadiyahan (BIM) formed Al-Islam learning curriculum and Kemuhammadiyahan is in accordance with the guidance of the Muhammadiyah tarjih. As lecturers in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan courses, we must have targets in learning, for example various innovations that we need to implement in learning activities so that students can have a religious attitude and can understand the values of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan well and practice in everyday life. This study aims to find out the extent of the role of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan subjects in developing the attitude of religiosity of students at Muhammadiyah University in North Sumatra. This study uses mixed method with analytical descriptive style with IPO approach (Inputs, Processes and Products), because there are differences in religious understanding from respondents in different situations

Abstract

One of the characteristics and signs that a person is a good and noble human being, is that the person provides many benefits to others, both directly and indirectly. Asy-Shaykhas-Sa'di is a person who provides many benefits and kindness to others, through the knowledge he taught to others while he was still alive, and through his works and writings which are widely read and used as references by prosecutors science and society in general.As-Shaykh as-Sa‘di conducts careful and in-depth study and analysis of the verses of the al-Quran through its interpretations, which are related to educators, students, curriculum and Islamic education methods. One of the important elements and matters in education is educators. Educators according to as-Shaykh as-Sa‘di are figures who can be role models and follow-ups, because he has a noble character both for himself, his students and with the community and the environment.Students who are explained by ash-Shaykhas-Sa'di are those who must have good character, both towards themselves, their educators and the community is the creed or the points of faith, worship, moral and muamalah, then the curriculum presented by ash-Shaykhas-Sa'di is still general in nature. Then the success of educators in delivering materials that have been determined in the curriculum, must be delivered with proper methods and adjusted, so that students can understand easily and quickly all the material delivered by educators.

Abstract

Some problems that faced by the students in University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara are have not disciplined in carrying out worship, have not well behaved in conveying their aspirations, some have not dressed in accordance with Islamic law, and there are only few alumni who become Muhammadiyah cadres whom automatically expected to be active in Muhammadiyah organization. There are several factors for these situation, including the learning method practiced by Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Lecturers (AIK) seemed monotonous and less interesting then the students feel bored to attend AIK lectures. The purpose of the study is to provide a learning method that fun and creative for AIK lecturers.  In specific, the objective of the study is to detect and analyze the learning methods that have been applied by AIK lecturers in UMSU. The result after the observation has done, it was found that there were several learning methods practiced by AIK lecturers. All methods can be classified into three categories, classical, middle and modern methods.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) find out the steps of mind mapping-based character development for early childhood, 2) steps to implement mind mapping-based character development in early childhood, 3) increase the character of children after the application of mind mapping based character development models in early childhood, and 4) the response of teachers and parents to the use of mind mapping-based character development models in early childhood. This research uses research and development methods. The results of this research show: 1) The steps of character development based on mind mapping begin with the preparation of the Teacher's Guide Book and Student Worksheets and are validated by first time education material experts, graphic design, and the Indonesian liguist in a very valid category, 2) the steps of implementing the model consisting of preparation, implementation and evaluation, 3) Test results The model shows that the use of mind mapping-based character development models in early childhood can develop children's character significantly with thit 17.038> from 2.46 at 95% significance level, and 4) teachers and parents assess this model is suitable for developing children's character

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of Sufism education proposed by Buya Hamka. This research uses intellectual biographical approaches beside philosophical approaches, with the type of library research and using qualitative methods.The method of data collection used is by collecting various works produced by the figures studied (as primary sources), namely: 1) Modern Sufism. 2) Development and Purification of Sufism. 3) Sufism Contemplation. 4) Interpretation of Al- Azhar 5) Memories of Life. And searching for various essays by others about Sufism and Hamka's thinking. Data analysis is done in three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation; and drawing conclusions. While the analysis techniques used are content analysis and interpretation. The results of the study indicate that: First, the concept of Hamka Sufism is very moderate when compared to Sufism concepts from most Sufis, especially in Indonesia. And the pattern of Hamka Sufism is categorized in two patterns, 1) patterned Sunni Sufism, and 2) patterned akhlaqi Sufism. Second, Sufism in Hamka's perspective is categorized as traditional or conventional education, that is by good example (uswah hasanah), or modeling, practice and habituation, with auto-motivation or cultivating motivation and self-awareness to worship God and the best things.

Abstract

This article was written to provide an overview of Character Education with Modern Hamka and Contemporary Transformative Sufism Approaches. The construction of Hamka Sufi thought is very important for the world today, not only for reforming Islamic thought but also for reconstructing modern spirituality. Modern Sufism for Hamka is the application of qanaah, sincerity, and motivation to work Buya Hamka's character education perspective is that the nature of every human being basically leads to always do good and submit to his Khaliq.

Abstract

Cultivating worship habits in children in a minority environment is certainly not easy. Because minority conditions are correlated with a minimal amount of worship activity, the outcome is certainly on the impact of the reduced motivation to worship in children. This study aims to (1) determine the strategies carried out by parents in instilling worship habits in children, in the Desa Kuta Gugung Kec. Namanteran Kab. Karo, (2) Knowing the factors that influence the difficulty of instilling worship habits in children in the Desa Kuta Gugung Kec. Namanteran Kab. Karo. The method used in this research is the qualitative method, with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that the strategies used in inculcating worship habits to children are (1) exemplary, (2) Magrib Mengaji Program, (3) attending joint study, (4) practicing it with the activity sunnah, (4) instilling religious traditions. While the factors of difficulty in instilling worship habits in children are (1) the number of minority Muslims, (2) the lack of religious knowledge, (3) the eruption of Gugung Sinabung disaster.
