Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an understanding of the influence of religion, profit motivation and education levels of the awareness of certified halal food for producers in Sleman and Bantul, as well as to find among the independent variables which are more significant. This research is a quantitative study with multiple regression analysis. Independent variables (religious understanding, motivation and profit levels) simul-taneously have significant effect on awareness of halal certification for food producers in Sleman and Bantul with the amount of influence of 66.7%. The independent variables that have a significant effect on the dependent variable  (motivation of certified halal) is understanding of religion variable and profit motivation.

Abstract

AbstractRelations between science and religion are issues that have been developing for a long time, especially in Indonesia. Science as a pillar of human civilization cannot be separated from the attention of religions in the world. In Indonesia, efforts to establish the color of religion in its main education about scientific integration have been a concern in several Islamic universities. The purpose of this study was to find out the concepts and strategies of science and religion relations in learning in madrasas. This research method uses descriptive methods. The researcher measured the relation between science and religion by adapting to the approach developed by Ian G. Barbour which was divided into four: conflict; independence; dialog; and integration. The researcher found that the MTsN Kota Salatiga in the concept component was at the level of integration, but the strategy component was still at the level of dialogue. Whereas in the MTs NU Kota Salatiga it is known that the concept components and strategies are still at the level of dialogue.AbstrakRelasi ilmu dan agama adalah isu yang sudah cukup lama berkembang, utamanya di Indonesia. Ilmu sebagai pilar peradaban manusia, tidak dapat lepas dari perhatian agama-agama di dunia. Di Indonesia, upaya tentang adanya warna agama dalam pendidikan utamanya tentang integrasi keilmuan telah menjadi perhatian di beberapa perguruan tinggi islam. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah, ingin mengetahui konsep dan strategi relasi sains dan agama dalam pembelajaran di madrasah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Peneliti menakar relasi sains dan agama tersebut dengan mengadaptasi dari pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Ian G. Barbour yang terbagi atas empat: konflik; independensi; dialog; dan integrasi. Peneliti menemukan bahwa pada MTsN Kota Salatiga dalam komponen konsep sudah pada tataran integrasi, namun pada komponen strategi masih pada tataran dialog. Sedangkan pada MTs NU Kota Salatiga diketahui bahwa pada komponen konsep, dan strategi masih pada tataran dialog.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is finding the correlation between authoritative teaching and empathy toward bullying in the students of SMP Muhammadiyah in Salatiga. The subjects of this research are among 115 students of the third grade. The finding shows that there is a positive correlation among authoritative teaching and empathy toward bullying.

Abstract

The history of masjid Gedhe Kauman has a meaning of a place of worship since its inception to the present. In addition to its function as a place of worship, mosques as areas struggle against the invaders, the islamization, and the place of cultural development. While at present time, the dominant function of Masjid Gedhe as a place of scientific studies, the social activities, and means of cultural preservation sekaten. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with the historcal approach to trying and to see things from the point of the point of the span time or diachronic, to see the change, the continuity, the omission, the leaps, and the baundaries, the depiction of various forms of collevtive experience in the past. Any disclosure could be viewed as a staging of the actualization or the experience. In the procces of collecting datas, researcher using observation, review of documents, and interviews. The purpose and function of this researvch is to enrich the treasures of religious studies contribute to a theoretical, as well as provide the function as input for the goverment in formulating policies with regard to meeting the needs of the literature and increase the love and concern for the relics of history for the comunity.

Abstract

This study aimed to answers about the functionality of Nurus Sa’adah Mosque inthe process of transformation and empowerment of community, both on the activities of “mahdhah” and social activities. This study was designed with qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis was presented by describing the data that has been selected at reductive and draw a phenomenon that occurs on understanding theories that exist both on the theory of the sociology of religion, as well as theories related to social dynamics and social motivation. The results showed that the mosque Nurus Sa’adah, has been able to realize its function as an agent of transformation and empowerment for his congregation. Empowerment is actualized in mahdhah and social activities

Abstract

This research examines the influence of Islamic Values on the accounting judgement. Studies of religiosity are dominated by intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity approach. This study arranges religiosity instrument of Accounting and Auditing Standard for Islamic Financial Institutions. The of Islamic values in this study are derived trustworthiness, religious legitimacy, objectivity, professional competence and diligence, faith driven conduct, professional conduct and technical standards. The respondents were the employees of the Islamic financial institutions who has held accounting duties within the company. Data collection using the survey and used in data analysis total of 75 of 200 questionnaires distributed. The results showed that the religious legitimacy affect the accounting judgement significantly. Professional competence and diligence influence the accounting judgement significantly. Faith driven conductand professional conduct and technical standards affect the accounting judgement significantly. However, found no evidence showed of the influence of trustworthiness and objectivity on the accounting judgement signicantly.

Abstract

This research is to develop one method of learning that is a video containing tutorial about praying procedures in English. The video is designed to facilitate students to understand the praying procedures as well as practice their competence in English, especially listening and speaking. Some experts and the users validated the effectiveness of the research. Those who validated are people who have competence in praying procedures, English and multimedia. Therefore, there must be three experts in this research. The users are given some questionnaires asking their opinions about the video. The sample of the research was taken from college students majoring in Communication and Islam Broadcasting in IAIN Salatiga. There were 35 students in one class. Video of praying tutorial produced through this research get goodresponses from students. They feel that by watching the video and see the audio and visual movements of the prayer contained in the video can make them able to remember more clearly how to do praying, especially for praying that is not done everyday.

Abstract

Hajj is one of the most complex worship services. Not only does it requirepsychic and physical strengths, but it also requires comprehensive and consistentunderstanding and experience. Many changes in self occur in the congregationwhen the pilgrimage. This is the purpose of this research, which is to find out thetransformation of the hajj pilgrims’ self-concept before and after the Hajj. Byusing a qualitative method of the phenomenological perspective, the results ofthis research indicate that there are several self-concepts of pilgrims, including:prospective hajj pilgrims are not good at reciting, hajj candidates are less closeto the Khaliq, and hajj candidates have less concern for others. In addition,there is a self-concept of pilgrims after Hajj. There is a transformation of self-image with a “new status” as a hajj mabrur as a way to make oneself deserve tobe called Hajj with frequent prayers in congregation in the mosque and caringfor others

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the cash of waqf development umrah and suitability based on sharia-based cash waqf umrah in Ta’mirul Islamic boarding school. This study is a field research with qualitative methods. The object of this study is the agency of Hajj and Umrah Al Mabrur Islamic Boarding School of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta. The method of analysis was comparation analysis, to re-examine its suitability with aspects of comparison that is pillars, of waqf terms, and conditions MUI. As well as using SWOT analysis to determine the factors that needs to be strategic. Based on the findings in this study, it can be concluded that the cash of waqf Umrah is a charity-based effort to serve the pilgrims in the Hajj pilgrimage and of waqf as well as cash. This effort combines “tijari” contract models and “tabarru” contract models, in which convey with sharia.
