Abstract

Indonesia is consist of several islands and have various ethnic, tribal and cultural, so it has great potential in the world of tourism especially cultural tourism. Almost all islands or regions of Indonesia have a culture that can be used as a tourist attraction. One of them is the culture of bugis tribe used as a tourist attraction in Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa. The manager of Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa is currently do development of tourist attraction by carrying the theme of bugis tribal culture as a tourist attraction and also as the way to preserve the culture of bugis tribe on Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa. In this research, researchers used qualitative naturalistic methods because in this study conducted on natural conditions and researchers as the key instrument. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. Some cultures of bugis tribe used as a tourist attraction at Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa beach are local language or bugis language, bugis traditional art of Pecak Silat Baruga and Paduppa Dance, custom homes of bugis tribe or stlit house, dwarf house as an accommodation and bugis typical food

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial and non-financial compensation on the performance of Mesastila Hotels & Resorts Magelang employees which are expected to be useful for management in improving the performance of their employees. This research method uses a survey approach to employees with a media questionnaire which is then analyzed by instrument and variable feasibility test, multiple linearity and different test based on employee status (fixed and contract). The results of this study indicate that financial and non-financial compensation has a significant effect on employee performance. Therefore management can provide rewards in the form of direct (financial) or indirect (non-financial) to its employees. Because someone's attitude reflects the extent to which an employee knows and is bound to his organization and reflects employee loyalty to the organization and the ongoing process in which members of the organization express their concern for the organization and continued success and progress.

Abstract

Yogyakarta Special Region which has interesting places of interest and become a good potential to grow DIY citizen reconstruction. Tourism development efforts in each tourist attraction has been done to become an attractive destination for people who want to visit and recreation. One of them is the potential of the famous Water Tour is the water tour Lava Bantal and Embung Tegal Tirto existing Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The Role of Awareness Group of Tourists in Water Tourism Development That is Lava Bantal and Embung Tegal Tirto In Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta which has been developing water tourism object to become a destination place in Yogyakarta. Qualitative descriptive research with data retrieval through interview techniques to the actors of tourism that is the group of tourism awareness that developed the water tourism Embung Tegal Tirto and Lava Bantal and the spread of questionnaires to tourists who come to the water tour to know the responses of tourists to the Role of Group Conscious Tourism In Water Tourism Development In Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. From the results of the questionnaire that 51.6% of tourist wisatwan asses s infrastructure facilities in tourism is good enough. Lava Bantal as a water tour is considered clean enough where as many as 60% of tourists in addition to the Lava Bantal business to create a sense of security is running well, where visitors always diterjaminnya vehicle while parked and quiet while enjoying the scenery in the object this is said to visitors as much 50%. Devices and citizens have kept objects well.

Abstract

Environmental evaluation is not an official examination required by a statutory regulation, but rather a proactive effort carried out consciously to identify environmental problems that will arise so prevention efforts can be carried out. The scope of this environmental evaluation activity comes from the 1994 Minister of Environment Decree of the Republic of Indonesia concerning General Guidelines for the Implementation of Environmental audits as the basis of the variables to be evaluated. Data collection is done by interviewing 10 local people, Library Study, and Direct Observation to identify or look for historical information, a series of businesses and activities of local communities, environmental damage and Destination Management of Tidung Island. The results of this study found that Tidung Island began to develop as a tourist destination starting in 2009, with tourism activities mostly centered on the large Tidung Island, while the small Tidung Island became a conservation area managed by the government. Most of the local people of Tidung Island live depend on tourism activities, they facilitate tourists by building several tourism facilities and infrastructure. At present the environmental conditions in Pulau Tidung are undergoing a slight change, for example the marine ecosystem which can usually be overgrown with seaweed, currently cannot and is being tested for replanting, and the garbage at several coastal points on Tidung Island is large and small, slightly reducing the beauty of the island Tidung.

Abstract

General Store is one of the important sections in Hotels that are included in accounting Deparment. The general store is a storage place for all operational items of the hotel. Each hotel makes its own eforts to keep the inventory of the hotel which will become the guest necessities. This research aims to know what eforts are made to maintain the quality of hotel operational goods through the role of general store section at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. Is in accordance with the standard or does not give special treatment to the operational goods (ignored). The research method used is qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through interview. Interviews were conducted with general store staf, cost control staf, and trainee of food beverage at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. The results of the research show that The Hotel Phoenix Yogyakarta made positive eforts that can reduce damage to goods stored in the general store and always ensure the goods that come to the guests in good condition, so that guests will feel satisfied.

Abstract

The State of Indonesia is a country that has a lot of natural beauty and culture so it is worth to be maintained and preserved in order to bring tourists both local tourists, archipelago and overseas. One of the city that has a cultural tourism attraction is the city of Yogyakarta, which Yogyakarta culture must be maintained and preserved.Cultural tourism becomes an important aspect in the development of a tourism area especially the city of Yogyakarta, which has a variety of uniqueness-cultural uniqueness to be developed into tourist destinations that can be consumed by the tourists.Museum as an object and tourist attraction in the tourism industry because the museum is classified as a tourist attraction of human works which tourist attraction is one of the important elements.ne of the museums in Yogyakarta as a tourist attraction is Puro Pakualaman museum located on Sultan Agung Yogyakarta street, this museum has many potentials that can bring many visitors as a cultural tourism attraction, cultural awareness education and also to emphasize the image of the identity of a nation.The interest of visitors to visit Puro Pakualaman museum as a tourist destination is still very small compared to other tourist destinations.The attraction of Puro Pakualaman museum in the form of frequent substitution of soldiers in Javanese language is Bregodo, archery (jemparingan), various dances ranging from classical dance to modern dance, wayang, various types of historical relics that are still original and not a replica. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method by taking data through questionnaire data, then analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis to know the existence of influence between museum culture variable (X) to visitor interest (Y).The result of the research is (1) tourism culture of museum (X) influence to visitor interest (Y), with regression equation is Y = 16, 798 + 0,228; (2) Hypothesis test that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted meaning there is influence that significant between museum culture tourism to visitor interest with result of sig 0,00

Abstract

Making cheesecake using string bean is one of the latest innovations in making cheese cake that has never been seen before. Cheesecake generally use flour, this study aims at how string bean can be used as an ingredient of chiffon cheesecake by drying and processing into vegetable flour. This research was conducted to find out whether vegetable flour can affect the texture, taste, aroma and color of cheesecake. The purpose of string bean as a substitute for wheat flour is for consumption for the general public, especially for those who cannot consume gluten and make an alternative for people who do not like vegetables. In this study, we have conducted several vegetable group studies ranging from vegetable, leaf, stem, flower and fruit groups. Then found the right vegetable group to be made as a component of cheesecake, namely fruit vegetables. In addition, modifications are also made to the recipe, especially on the amount of vegetable flour. Excessive amounts will greatly affect the taste, texture, and aroma of the cheesecake. This study uses the homemade method. Homemade, which is meant by itself, is the making of using equipment that is few and can be made by anyone with the right technique.

Abstract

The purpose of the literature review is to explain that stakeholder theories have the right role in the production of business and stakeholder values, the enhancement of stakeholder voices and the advocacy of stakeholders. The focus is on normative theory, the dimensions of stakeholder theory and business performance. Discussion of stakeholder theory is done descriptively in relation to power, legitimacy and their urgency related to stakeholder type in influencing company performance especially in maximizing value and financial performance of company. The stakeholder concept has gained legitimacy among academics in various fields. stakeholder theory will provide benefits in relationships if understanding and integration of stakeholder concepts in management perceptions that their existence has a positive power in build of corporate advantage.

Abstract

Special interest tourism is one of the forms of attraction development recommended in the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPDA) of Bandung Regency. Therefore, realizing the special interest attraction of interest in Kampung Batu Malakasari destination is the most appropriate strategy in the development of the next destination. This article discusses how the strategy in developing Kampung Batu Malakasari to become a special interest tourist attraction. using qualitative studies and SWOT analysis resulted in several recommendations related to the strategy of developing special interest interest in Kampung Batu Malakasari, are: (1) Packaging special interest attractiveness; (2) Presenting geo- tourism based education (geowisata); (3) Provide staff training as a natural and cultural interpreter; (5 Improve accessibility to increase tourist comfort; (6) Involving citizens in tourism management with the concept of community-based tourism management

Abstract

Technological developments and can changes in the mind and desires of guests in booking hotel rooms. Online travel agents are one of the most advanced products that are currently booming, and also for changes room reservation to be direct or go shows switching to using online travel agents. The purpose of this study was to know information why the guest booking room directly going to online travel agents, in order to improve e-commerce effort of services to maintain guest while still choosing Mutiara Malioboro Hotel Yogyakarta as a place to stay. Research is an online travel agent that can increase hotel occupancy rates because they are accessible, efficient and effective at competitive prices, as well as hotel costs with sales costs, fees and employee usage fees. Management support in OTA is also needed in an effort to increase the number of orders through OTA.
