Abstract

Passing Clouds is a home industry that produces wine and offers tourism activities which are one of the leading choices when visiting Musk City, Victoria. This research aims to provide an overview of what tourist activities can be done by tourists when visiting Passing Clouds. The research approach used is exploratory research. Observation, interviews, and documentation do methods of data collection. Interviews were conducted using an in-depth interview model with informants using purposive sampling. The key informant is the owner of Passing Clouds himself; the total number of informants is ten people. The data analysis method used is the qualitative data analysis method in the field of the Spradley Model. The results of this study describe the tourist activities that tourists can do when visiting Passing Clouds, namely The Winery, Dining Room, Cellar Doors, and The Caravino. Wineries in the form of tourists can see the wine-making process starting from the cultivation of grapes, storage of stock materials, and wine production to the wine distribution process. The dining room is in the form of Fine Dining with views of the vast vineyard accompanied by wine produced directly from Passing Clouds, Cellar Door tourists can try a variety of wine products, and The Caravino in the form of picnic boxes provided every summer and spring.

Abstract

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, Muki Travel is a travel agency business that is growing. As it develops, Muki Travel offers tourism services like selling vacation packages and meeting lodging needs. Specifically, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Muki Travel must take new steps or use the most current strategies to draw tourists during the pandemic. This study aims to determine how the promotion mix is implemented. Both field research and library research are methods used to obtain data. According to a survey conducted at Muki Travel, which used five different techniques of the promotion mix strategy, two of them—advertising and sales promotion methods—are more prevalent than the other five.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of tourism products and facilities on the revisit intention of tourists to Curug Cimahi. This research uses a descriptive verification method. The sample of this research is one hundred respondents who have visited Curug Cimahi at least once between 2019 and 2022. Primary data were obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, while secondary data sources were obtained through a literature review. The results show that partially tourism products and facilities affect the revisit intention of tourists to Curug Cimahi, while simultaneously, tourism products and facilities affect the revisit intention of tourists to Curug Cimahi. This can be an input for managers of Curug Cimahi tourist destinations to develop tourism objects in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the achievement of rural development in the study area after UNESCO designated Toba Caldera Geopark as a member of the Global Geopark Network (GGN) in July 2020. For that purpose, the authors conduct research to measure the relationship of geotourism with rural development in the area. The methods employed are library research, discussion, observation, field trips and questionnaires to 127 respondents from the village government officers, students, MSME communities and Youth Organizations. The results show that average: 65% of all respondents understand the existence of geotourism and geosites in their area, although only around 40% know precisely two out of 16 existing geosites in the area. There are 60% of them feel improvement in their economy with the presence of this geotourism. After the designation of this area as a Tourism Village Pilot Project in September 2018, more than 2/3 of the MSMEs businessmen feel an increase in consumer visits and receive an increase in revenue of up to 70%. However, questionnaires related to the improvement after the designation of Toba Caldera as UNESCO GGN are unable to be reconciled by them since the Covid19 pandemic also impacts them

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has occurred in various sectors, one of which is the culinary industry. This study aims to identify the impact of COVID-19 social restrictions on the seafood-based tourism industry at the Solor Village Night Market. Using qualitative methods, research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique, which resulted in as many as 24 culinary business unit owners becoming research participants. Data collection techniques were carried out, starting with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) COVID-19 social restrictions are implemented evenly throughout Indonesia, including in East Nusa Tenggara Province, so that people are more active at home. (2) There are at least two impacts of the pandemic that were felt by the culinary business unit managers at the Solor Village Night Market, namely the impact on the decline in income and job opportunities. (3) The impact of the COVID-19 social restrictions on the decrease in the income of the culinary business unit managers is influenced by several factors, such as the decline in people's purchasing power and the tendency to stay active at home so that economic activity is not optimal. (4) The impact of the pandemic on job opportunities was felt by the employees of the culinary business unit at the Pasar Malam Kampung Solor who rely on their daily wage income to support education, where as many as more than 50% of the employees were laid off. The next recommendation for business unit managers is to be able to use social media as an alternative promotion tool to maintain income in times of crisis.

Abstract

The large number of tourists visiting Temajuk Village is supported by local people's initiatives to start businesses in accommodation, including lodging, resorts, and homestays. This study examined accommodation facilities in supporting the development of Temajuk Tourism Village, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study explored the physical, environmental, and social components of accommodation that support tourism. The study identified the availability of lodging, resorts, and homestays, as well as facilities and amenities in the village. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to the managers of lodging, resorts, and homestays. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted with the accommodation managers in the Temajuk Tourism Village. The data analysis technique refers to the explanation of descriptive quantitative with percentages for questionnaires and elaboration of interview results and the observation results. Since there has been no study giving data on accommodation in Temajuk, this study will enrich the literature as well as help other researchers in the future writing about Temajuk Village.

Abstract

The living pattern mega shift happened because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pattern shifting is rough and can be felt by everyone, especially in the tourism industry. Because of that, we need to conduct a study to find out the impact of the new normal era on the tourist experience, visiting decisions, tourist satisfaction, and the effect on the destination brand image. This study focused on the sociological aspect of tourism to observe the 1) tourist experience, 2) visiting decision process, 3) the satisfaction factor, and 4) the impact on the destination brand. The method used in this study is exploratory qualitative and uses data triangulation to analyze the data. The research instrument used in this study is observation, interview, and documentation. The total respondent of this study is 90 people chosen by the purposive sampling technique, and bring the final result of 87 valid respondents. The final result of this study is 1) 83,9% of respondent said that every destination has come with a good health protocol facility, 2) 86,2% said that the presence of the health protocol facility brings a positive visiting experience, 3) The visiting decision also influenced by the good health protocol facility but not to sign with only 68,96% respondent, 4) 81,6% respondent believed that their hope was fulfilling when their do the visit. And from that number, 55,17% said that their hope was fulfilled nicely, and 26,44% of respondent said that their hope was just quite fulfilled; 5) The brand issue related to the presence and the quality of the health protocol facility bring such a significant positive answer from 94,25% respondent.

Abstract

Mekarbuana Village, one of the villages in Karawang, has enormous tourism potential. This study aimed to determine and determine the tourism marketing strategy for Mekarbuana village. This study uses descriptive qualitative with SWOT analysis techniques through IFAS and EFAS analysis based on economic, socio-cultural, environmental and village government instruments. Data collection is based on literature study, observation and in-depth interviews with village tourism managers. Based on the results of marketing strategy research, potential development needs to be done. Possible development can be carried out through the potential possessed by the village, one of which is natural potential, making tour packages, using social media as a means of promotion, marketing facilities, improving tourism facilities, and involving the community in developing their MSMEs to encourage innovation through the use of additional tourism such as procurement of homestays, ecotourism-based coffee village tours.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of a diversification strategy with the development of innovation in Sanggabuana coffee products. This study used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies and analyzed using technical and source triangulation. The study results were obtained to apply a diversification strategy focused on concentric diversification by producing new product outputs based on the raw material of KoSa as a coffee flavouring in desserts with the types of Pudding Kopi and Bolu Kopi, scrubs, and air fresheners. Furthermore, Bumdes can maximize e-commerce marketing.

Abstract

Kampung Naga is a Traditional Village located in Tasikmalaya Regency, which still runs life guided by the legacy of its predecessors. Kampung Naga has its uniqueness. Unique here means having something distinctive. One of the uniqueness of Kampung Naga is in Norma, life habits, arts and religious rituals. This study aims to discover the unique form of Naga village and how this uniqueness can become a cultural tourism attraction. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive study approach. The source of research data consists of Primary data obtained through Interviews and Observations, while secondary data can be through literature studies and; for the results of this study is the Uniqueness of Kampung Naga as a Cultural Tourism Attraction in Tasikmalaya Regency.
