Abstract

This study aims to identify the response of tourists in Jatimulyo Tourism Village towards the plan of developing birdwatching tourism. Birds have a strong attractiveness for certain groups of people, such as bird hobbies due to their diverse characteristics which have a high selling value. Jatimulyo Tourism Village is one of the tourism villages known for its bird diversity. Regarding that situation, the Jatimulyo government issued a Village Regulation (so-called Peraturan Desa or PerDes) about prohibition of hunting activities. It was already applied by sanctioning wild-life hunters, including bird hunter. However, the application of PerDes was not strong enough to protect the bird diversity. Thus, there must be alternatives program by utilizing the bird diversity to give economic advantages for the people. Birdwatching tourism is one of the alternatives and there is possibility to develop it in this village, considering this village has already been recognized as tourism village. This research was a quantitative research and employing survey with questionnaire as the instrument. There were 100 questionnaires given to the tourists in Jatimulyo Tourism Village to gather valid data. The term of birdwatching is still a foreign term for the people. The observation results show that most of the tourists had ever heard the term but did not know its meaning. However, most of the tourists were agreed with the alternative of developing this tourism village with birdwatching as one of the attractions but in one condition i.e. the tour package was not more than one day with affordable budget. They also wanted bird observation and photography as the activities of birdwatching. Furthermore, they needed professional guide to guide them along the tour. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang membahas mengenai pengaruh media sosial terhadap kunjungan wisatawan di Pulau Sumedang Belitung masih sedikit, kebanyakan membahas mengenai fauna ikan dan perairannya. Penelitian ini akan sangat bermanfaat agar pihak yang berkepentingan dapat merumuskan strategi pemasaran menggunakan media sosial dengan tepat. Kemudian penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengaruh promosi melalui media sosial terhadap kunjungan wisatawan dan mengetahui jenis media sosial apa yang paling berperan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan di Pulau Sumedang Belitung. Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah media sosial dengan indikator adalah media sosial yang sering digunakan sebagai media promosi seperti Facebook, YouTube dan Instagram. Sedangkan yang menjadi variabel dependen adalah Kunjungan Wisatawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pulau Sumedang, Kecamatan Membalong, Kabupaten Belitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner atau angket dengan jumlah 52 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Kemudian akan diuji pengaruh media sosial terhadap kunjungan wisatwan di pulau Sumedang Belitung menggunakan uji t. Untuk melihat pengaruh media sosial terhadap kunjungan wisatawan di pulau Sumedang belitung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan di pulau Sumedang Belitung. Persentase sumbangan pengaruh media sosial terhadap kunjungan wisatawan di pulau Sumedang Belitung yaitu Sebesar 22,2%. Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Promosi, Kunjungan Wisatawan,  ABSTRACT There are still few studies that explore the impact of social media on tourist visits to Sumedang Island, Belitung, with the majority of them focusing on the island's fish species and waters. This research will be extremely beneficial in helping interested parties develop effective social media marketing strategies. The study then seeks to establish the level of influence of social media promotion on tourist visits, as well as which types of social media play the most important role in tourist trips to Sumedang Belitung Island. The independent variable is social media, and the indicators are social media platforms that are frequently utilized as promotional media, such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Meanwhile, Tourist Visits is the dependent variable. This study was carried out on Sumedang Island Village, Membalong District, Belitung. The study was carried out in Sumedang Island Village, Membalong District, Belitung Regency. The data for this study was gathered by the distribution of questionnaires or questionnaires with a total of 52 respondents, using a descriptive quantitative research approach. Simple linear regression analysis was employed to analyze the data. The influence of social media on tourist visits to Sumedang Belitung will then be investigated using the t test. To examine the impact of social media on tourist visits to Sumedang, Belitung. According to the findings of this study, social media has a substantial impact on tourist visits to the island of Sumedang, Belitung. Abstract

Goat Farming for Educational and Recreational Tourism Purposes: Grant for Empowering Beginner Communities at El-Farm The outcomes of the Community Service activity carried out at El Farm mostly went as planned. It has been demonstrated that the community's understanding of Formulation and development of livestock-based tourism products, Preparation and packaging of educational tourism packages, and Enhancement of understanding of marketing and tourism services has improved due to the training activities followed by intensive mentoring. The achievement is visible in the increase in pre-test and post-test scores, which exceeds 50%. Trial runs of tourism packages have also been undertaken by inviting tourists, including Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA students and faculty members from other universities, as well as trial activities such as the village painting competition and a lecture at El Farm.This project has received strong support from various stakeholders, including the Village Government, the Tourism Department, Higher Education Institutions, and several business entities. As a suggestion for future activities, it is suggested that more intense mentorship be continued, including assessing activity accomplishments and the long-term impact of the Community Service Program on partners.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bengkalis memiliki posisi yang strategis dalam pengembangan dan pembangunan pariwisata. Berdasarkan letak geografisnya, Kabupaten Bengkalis langsung berhadapan dengan perairan Selat Malaka. Terlebih lagi, posisi Kabupaten Bengkalis tepat berhadapan dengan kawasan segitiga pertumbuhan Indonesia-Malaysia-Singapura dan Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keindahan alam dan kekayaan budaya lokal yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi potensi pariwisata yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkalis, tepatnya di Kecamatan Bantan dan Kecamatan Bengkalis serta menganalisis pengembangan pariwisata di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan observasi lapangan, wawancara dan studi literatur sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, baik data primer maupun data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia – Malaysia dapat dikembangkan pada wisata bahari dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ekowisata yang berkelanjutan dan wisata edukasi Udang Vaname. Alasannya, karena kegiatan wisata di Pantai Selat Baru merupakan obyek wisata unggulan di kawasan tersebut dengan pemandangan pantai yang indah dan merupakan lokasi kegiatan festival budaya diadakan. Ditambah lagi, udang vaname yang dianggap sebagai produk unggulan di sana, dapat dijadikan sebagai wisata edukasi bagi para pelajar untuk menambah pengetahuan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan wisata edukasi dapat memberikan manfaat yang lebih bagi pelaku usaha tambak Udang Vaname.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine whether or not the influence of water temperature has an impact on how Gayo Arabica coffee is brewed using the Anaerobic Cherry Maceration Process. Refractive index, extraction, total dissolved solids, and Yield are variables that are seen in the steeping effect. By contrasting the three differences in water temperature, 80°C, 90°C, and 100°C, this study employs an experimental methodology. According to this study's findings, there is a significant difference between 100oC, 90oC and 80oC in terms of the Ext parameter and Total Dissolved Solids. Other factors, like refractive index and Yield at the three temperatures, do not differ all that much.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the trends in manual brew coffee consumption in Indonesia, focusing on consumer preferences, sensory perceptions, and health impacts. Manual brew methods such as V60, tubruk, and cold brew have become popular choices among urban and millennial consumers, as each offers a unique taste and aroma experience. The study employs a literature review and secondary data analysis to explore the factors influencing consumer preferences, including the sensory characteristics and health benefits of manual brew coffee. The findings reveal that brewing methods like V60 produce a more complex flavour profile, while cold brew offers a smoother taste with lower acidity. Additionally, consumer preferences for manual brew coffee are influenced by awareness of the potential health benefits of coffee consumption. These findings are expected to provide new insights for coffee industry players in developing products and marketing strategies that align with consumption trends in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the preferences of Generation Z in choosing thematic coffee tourism in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, based on the concepts of Something to See, Something to Do, and Something to Buy. Using a mixed-method approach, this research involved 100 Generation Z respondents selected through purposive sampling. The collected data reveals that Generation Z favours coffee tourism experiences that are both educational and interactive, with coffee plantation landscapes, coffee harvesting and processing, and direct interactions with farmers and baristas as the main attractions. The findings also indicate that coffee tourism is not yet widely popular but has great potential if well-promoted. Respondents show a preference for coffee tourism packages priced between IDR 50,000 and IDR 100,000, with a tour duration of 1-3 hours. In conclusion, coffee-themed tourism designed with Generation Z preferences in mind can effectively introduce local coffee and support the development of Indonesia's tourism economy.

Abstract

Wine adalah bagian dari seri Object Lessons, yang terkenal karena mengeksplorasi benda-benda sehari-hari dengan pendekatan intelektual dan historis yang mendalam. Dalam buku ini, Meg Bernhard mengeksplorasi anggur sebagai objek fisik dan simbol budaya, mengaitkan pembuatan, konsumsi, dan sejarah anggur dengan pengalaman pribadi dan fenomena sosial. Struktur buku ini dibagi berdasarkan musim—musim dingin, semi, panas, dan gugur—dengan setiap musim menyoroti berbagai aspek anggur, dari proses pembuatannya hingga cerita-cerita yang menyertainya. Buku ini menggabungkan berbagai pendekatan: memoar, jurnalisme, dan kajian ilmiah. Bernhard menelusuri pengalaman pribadinya tinggal di Spanyol, bekerja di kebun anggur, dan belajar tentang proses yang rumit di balik produksi anggur, sambil juga mengeksplorasi kekuatan sosial yang ada dalam industri pembuatan anggur. Abstract

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, Muki Travel is a travel agency business that is growing. As it develops, Muki Travel offers tourism services like selling vacation packages and meeting lodging needs. Specifically, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Muki Travel must take new steps or use the most current strategies to draw tourists during the pandemic. This study aims to determine how the promotion mix is implemented. Both field research and library research are methods used to obtain data. According to a survey conducted at Muki Travel, which used five different techniques of the promotion mix strategy, two of them—advertising and sales promotion methods—are more prevalent than the other five.
