Abstract

Smoking behavior among the adults become commonplace. Smoking is a lifestylephenomenon in the present so as regards the behavior of smoking as a behavior that is reasonableand does not have a problem. Behavior smoking can be found everywhere and from various agecircle namely from adult to children. For the moment many women have found the smokingbehavior and in this study women were mothers. The social behavior of a relative nature torespond to others in a way that is different. As social beings, smoking behavior is a behavior thatcan not be separated from other human. The smoking behavior is heavily influenced by the socialenvironment due to the behavior or character of a person likely to be formed by the surroundingenvironment. This study has several purposes for the researchers themselves as well as for otherstudents. The purpose of this study was first held to find out about the social behavior of motherswho smoked at Rt 02 Rw 14 TalangMandi village. The second objective is to determine thefactors that influence smoking behavior of these mothers. Analyzing the data in this study usinga qualitative descriptive study method. This study aims to identify and describe socialphenomena as well as trying to analyze it in accordance with the reality based on the dataobtained. Subjects in this study determined Snowball Sampling. Informants in this study werewomen's status as mothers of 5 people who have the habit of smoking. Methods of datacollection that is by observation and interviews. The study was conducted in Duri RT 02 Rw 14TalangMandi village Mandau sub Bengkalis. The results show that the social behavior ofmothers who smoke are mothers smoked openly namely smoking environment sesame smokersand smoke in the environment of people who do not smoke. Only one person mothers are stillconsidering the smoking behavior when with other people either smoke or not smoke. Thefactors that affect mothers smoke are penggaruh to friends who smoke other than that motherswho smoke live and hang out amid people who are also characterized by other factors, namelysmoking and stress.Keywords: Social Behavior, Smoke, Mothers

Abstract

Ombudsman has a very important role in makingthe good public service because as a supervisory institution of public service provider which is according to Constitution Number 37 of 2008.Therefore the Ombudsman should emphasize on the effectiveness in overseeing public service provider. Included in implement the programs such as implementing socialization activity like introduction of the Ombudsman institution, investigation activities, monitoring and supervision of public service providers based on the issues of maladministration report. As this study aims to determine how the effectiveness and barriers of Riau Province Representative Ombudsman of the Indonesia Republic in supervision of public service provider.This research is a descriptive study that using qualitative approach as a tool of analysis. This research is conducted in the city of Pekanbaru with key informant interviews as an object of information that aims to achieve the goal to have the information. in this study. Data used in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with key informants.Riau Province Representative Ombudsman in dealing with complaints of maladministration had not been effective,especially in the prevention and settlement report, caused its there barriers such lack of human resources, the limited budget, the lack of facilities to support the performance of the Ombudsman of Riau Province Representative. This has an impact on the number of reports of unresolved by the ombudsman as well as the persistence of maladministration undertaken by public service provider in Pekanbaru so it is very detrimental to the public and sides related. Abstract

Taking order is part of a very important service. Because through taking order waiters can find out the wishes and needs of guests. This study aims to know the procedure of taking order and to know obtacles of taking order by food and beverage service at Spice Restaurant Nirwana Gardens Resort Bintan. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The key Informant is outlet manager, supervisor, senior waiter, and waitress. Data collection was taken by direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was done with data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of this study show that: 1) the taking order procedure at Spice Restaurant has been running quite well; 2) Solutions to overcome obstacles to taking orders include: manual taking order when situational constraints occur; More focus, calm, and patient in facing guests; Added waiters are needed when the guests are busy; The need for training to facilitate foreign language by management; The waiters should be more professional and be able to separate personal affairs from work.Keyword: Procedure, Taking Order, Food and Beverage, Restaurant

Abstract

This paper aims to explain Argentina‟s goal in increasing its maritime territory through the UN. Argentina submitted the expansion of the continental shelf area through UN-CLCS (united Nation Commission on the limits of the Continental Shelf). The UN Approved the reccommendations issued by UN-CLCS which changed Argentina‟s marritime territory to more than 35%.This research is using qualitative method with library research. The data were obtained from books, journals, mass media websites, and relevant document in research. This research relies on structural realism or neorealism perspective by Kenneth Waltz with foreign policy theory from James N. Rossenau. Level of analysis used in this research is nation-state.Argentina Submitted the extent of hte continental Shelf to UN-CLCS in 2009. After a long process, the UN finally approved the recommendations provided by CLCS as the body of the UNCLOS paragraph 76 and 77on March 11, 2016. Argentina‟s marritime territory increased and changed Argentine geopolitical map. The Malvinas Island lies in Argentina territory. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyse the factors that cause the deviation of budget with its realisation and investigate and analyse the budget and actual cost of the project in improving the road in Sei. Ara, Inhil.The data obtained directly from the company PT. Gunung Guntur which located in Inhil and analysed using analysis of variance, which the authors compare between the actual cost with the standard cost will result the deviation. This analysis is used in order to observe the elements of the project cost budget such as the cost of raw materials, labour costs, and overhead costs.The results of the research concluded that the budget which made by the company PT. Gunung Guntur yet fully functioning properly because the company only sets the standard for the cost of materials and the cost of labours, and the opposite, in budgeting, the overheads cost experienced a lot of adverse deviations (Unfavorable).Keywords: Budget, Actual, Variance

Abstract

The Niger Delta is the largest Delta in Africa and the largest wetland in the world. Located on Niger River, South Nigeria. The people of the Niger Delta are very dependent on the Delta environment. In 1958, for the first time, Shell explored and exploited Niger Delta, which has changed Niger Delta. 1977is the first oil spill revealed in the Niger Delta. The spill problem has not been resolved to this day, and it is also getting bigger every year. The impact of this is not only on the environment around the delta but also very influential on the surrounding community. In 2008, UNEP came and conducted a two-year study in the Niger Delta to meet the demands of the Nigerian government. In 2011, UNEP released on their official website the impact of the oil spill problem in the Niger Delta as well as Delta's cleanup recommendations. The recommendations refer to 3 stakeholders; Government, Oil Company and Delta Niger community. It is hoped that the Recommendations are implemented in a well-implemented and positive impact on the development of the Niger Delta. Abstract

Bengkalis regency is one of the government agencies that run the activities of publc relations. In every government agency, of course, have a good problem. Bengkalis district also experienced it. Along with the development of the media has become one of the tools to help disseminate information or news related to organization or government agencies. Public ralations Bengkalis district utilize media relations in maintaining a positive image.The research uses descriptive qualitative research type whit data collection method of interview, observation and documentation. To determine the subject, the research is interactive analsis model. To test the validity of the researcher uses extension of patricipation and data trisngulstion.The results of this study indicate that the public relations Bengkalis make massmedia as partners in in order to obtain a balanced publicity, forming a positive image and harmonious relationship with the mass media. Media relations activiover the spread of press releases, pers confies of bengkalis public relation bureau crences, perss visite, pers receptions, personal information service (news service) and anticipate contingency plan. Positive image of Bengkalis regency government in the eyes of the media well in line with the cooperation. Nevetheless, there are still public who think badly to the government of Bengkalis regency. Humas consider it all a challenge for them to stay afloat in an effort to maintain a positive image.Keywords: Public Relations, Media Relations, Image

Abstract

The city without Slums programme (KOTAKU) is a program that funded nationally in 271 counties/cities in 34 provinces that became a collaboration platform or base of the handling of the slums that integrate various resources and funding sources , including those from the Central Government, provinces, counties or cities, donors, private, public, and other stakeholders. Coastal village is one of the implementing kotaku, goals of the research is to describe and analyse the forms of community participation. The methods used in this research was the qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that this form of public participation was seen from public participation in decision making, participation in the implementation phase, the participation in the taking of benefits, and the participation of the community in stages of the evaluation. Based on the foregoing indicates that public participation is already there but not thorough all phases. Because there are still constraints that impede public participation ranging from low levels of public awareness, weak understanding of the people and the bustle of the community. Then it is necessary to approach the community so the community understands the purpose of the program that implemented and communication between stakeholders, community and village apparatus must be maintained so that there is no misunderstanding.Keywords: Public Participation, Development, Community Empowerment, Program Cities Without Slums (KOTAKU)

Abstract

Choosing is an autonomous activity, in the sense of non-pressure and coercion from others. The sociological approach tends to place voting in relation to the social context. The concrete of one's choice in elections is influenced by demographic and socioeconomic backgrounds, such as gender, residence (city-village), occupation, education, class, income and religion. The sociological approach explains, social characteristics and groupings are factors that influence voter behavior.The research method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative analysis method. This study aims to see how the behavior of voters in the election Wali Nagari in Kenagarian Rabi Jonggor, Mount Tuleh, West Pasaman, West Sumatra Year 2014 that affect the election of one candidate in Pilwana. This study is also to find out how the shift in voter behavior in the context of the social structure of society in Rabi Jonggor kenagarian previously held by other elite groups. So that the influence of various social factors greatly influence voter behavior in determining the choice that make an elite group in government is shifted by other elite group in Kenagarian Rabi Jonggor.The selection of Wali Nagari in Rabi Jonggor Kenagarian Year 2014 shows that the main factor of voters in determining their choice based on sociological approach can be seen from education side, family background or kinship and social class. These three sides determine the voter's behavior in determining the choice because the other side of the sociological approach is not very influential in determining voter behavior, so that the three sides of voter behavior becomes a reference in determining how voters behavior in the election of Wali Nagari Year 2014.Keywords: Pilwana, Nagari, Sociological Approach, Voter Behavior

Abstract

This research was conducted at Social Service and Labor of Kampar Regency and some related places in the research. The aim of this study is to determine the performance of the supervision of the Social Service and Labor of Kampar Regency toward labor rights in 2014/2015. This research is descriptive research, that is research looking for variable value without connecting variable one with other variable. Data collection in this research is done by in-depth interview to resource person.The result of descriptive analysis on the supervision of Social Service and Labor of Kampar Regency is the supervision done indirectly and directly. Indirect supervision is done by obligatory report from every company. Direct supervision is done by coming directly to supervise in related companies. In conducting supervision, Social Service and Labor of Kampar Regency experienced inhibiting factor that is the number of functional supervisory staff that is not sufficient where 50 companies should be supervised by 1 supervisor and accompanied by functional supervisory staff in Kampar Regency whose not yet PPNS. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the supervision done by the Social Service and Labor of Kampar Regency is still not effective and efficient in reaching its target.Keyword : Supervision, Labor Rights
