Abstract

Competition in the field of the automotive industry is increasingly tight.Similar products ,price competition, customers are getting smarter in choosing, wants and needs of customers and customer expectations are getting higher.Complaints are feedback that are attributed from customers to the company. PT Agung Automall Kerinci handle customer complaints which is services section and sales section. Handling customer complaints is included in customer relationship activities. The way to handle certainly different in some places like city and village. This research aims to analyze the communication strategy undertaken PT. Agung Automall Kerinci in terms of analyzing constituent/customer, analyze the message, and analyzing the response.This study used qualitative methods, data collectted based on the reality on the ground through observation, interviews, and documentatiois research. Informants of this research took 8 persons which is 1 Customer Relations Coordinator, 1 Sales Supervisor, 2 Advisor service, 1 Pre Delivery Service, and 3 customers who ever submitted complaints using the purposive technique.The study result showed that the communication strategy of PT Agung Automall Kerinci in analyzing constituent is by analyzing how the characteristics of the customers. Ranging from education, jobs, residence environment , the type of their car,to personal privte life of the customers like their tribe nor their origin. As for analyzing the message and completion of the problems are not directly to the core of the problems. The approach was using persuasive approach by giving attention to getting empathy. Communication media in conveying the message by face to face While in analyze customer response is using Customer Satisfaction Level (CSL) survey.and then the company using Focus Group Discussion(FGD), after that they doing follow up. PT Agung Automall Kerinci in the response analyzes customers is with the level of customer satisfaction survey of procurement (CSL) and then going on the company doing the FGD, after that do a follow-up. From resesrcher observation on customer response, disovered that customers are satisfied with the results of performance and service provided by the company, however the customers are less satisfied with equipment which avaliable in PT. Agung Automall Pangkalan Kerinci.

Abstract

Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Attraction is a very potential to become a leading tourist destination in the city of Pekanbaru, because the grand mosque is the oldest mosque in the city of Pekanbaru and one Heritage should be retained and managed as well developed. The problems faced by the Department of Culture and Tourism manage Masjid Raya Pekanbaru is budgeted funds at very minimal.This study aims to see how the Management Attractions Masjid Raya Pekanbaru as Travel Destinations Pekanbaru. Management Attractions Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Attraction so grand mosque became the city's main tourist destinations pekanbaruThis study uses qualitative research methods to examine the descriptive data. The concept of management theory. In collecting the data, researchers use interviewing techniques, observation, and documentation. By using key informants as a source of information and as a source triangulation techniques in testing validitation data.These results indicate that the Management Attractions Pekanbaru as the Masjid Raya Pekanbaru City Sightseeing was not optimal. This is evidenced planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring are not running properly. Then the inhibiting factors in the Management Attractions Masjid Raya Pekanbaru namely human resources that have not been professional, yet construction coordination with various agencies and also insufficient promotion. It is caused due to lack of support from the government of Pekanbaru. This making the grand mosque pengololaan less successful.Keywords: Management, Masjid Raya, Pekanbaru City Destination

Abstract

This research is a study of conflict of interest which discusses about the interest of The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on chosing the World Bank as the shareholders of the Green Climate Fund. The climate change has been a crucial issue that should be solved wisely. Many efforts had been tried for solving this issue, until the countries agree for making an operating entity of the financial mechanism of the convention (The Green Climate Fund) through the Conference of Parties of UNFCCC.This funding mechanism requires all developed and developing country to take their part in making the success of it.In this research, the author uses the group behavior analysis level which focused on the role of international organization. This research uses the diplomacy theory by Woodrow Wilson and the decision making theory, which are explain how the procedure for the decision is choosen.In effort to succeed this new agenda of UNFCCC, some critical statement come because the fact that, there are many developed countries that still using the dirty energy, which is the high factor of carbon emissions producer. The record of World Bank career in funding the countries which support and produce the dirty energy, also being one of the critic and obstacle. Abstract

This research is describes the cooperation between Indonesia and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in program known as Member Countries Partnership Strategy (MCPS). In this case, Indonesia is country with the largest economy in Southeast Asia with GDP per capita that has been steadily rising. In fact, the GDP growth as much six percent in 2012 and Muslim population in majority. However, the country is still struggling against poverty, educational problem, health- care and infrastructure development. Therefore, to solve this problem Indonesia should cooperate with another country or international organization, like Islamic Development Bank (IDB).The research was obtained by reviewing the literature either from books, journals, theses, reports, and internet. In this research, the author uses neo-liberalist prespective with international cooperate theory by K.J Holsti and Charles H. Cooley , international organization theory by Clive Archer and A. Le Roy Bennet with level analysis in nation-state.Indonesia’s economic plan is follows a 20-year development plan, spanning from 2005 to 2025. It is segmented into 5-year medium-term plans, called the RPJMN with different development priorities. In this research found that the program MCPS has positively contributed to the second phase of medium term plans. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance and company size on financial performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The ratio of good corporate governance that is used as an independent variable is managerial ownership, the composition of the independent board of commissioners and the audit committee. The company size ratio used as an independent variable is the logarithm of natural total assets (in total assets). While the financial performance ratio used as the dependent variable is return on equity. The method used to observe the effect of good corporate governance and company size on financial performance using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression.The data used in this study are secondary data, financial reports and annual report annual reports. The data is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 5 years from the period 2012-2016. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, 9 companies were used. Data analysis using simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, f test and test coefficient of determination. Data analysis using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression with SPSS 25.The results of this study indicate that the variables of good corporate governance partially (t test) affect the financial performance, while the variable size of the company influences the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (F) show the influence of good corporate governance and company size on financial performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.   Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Company Size, Financial Performance

Abstract

This researc was conducted ar Universitas Riau. The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of the bidikmisi bhakti negeri scholarship program seen from behavior of studentd in utilizing the scholarship provided, as measured by students’ knowledge, attitudes, and actions. In this study the authors used a descriptive quantitative method and the analysis technique used was the frequency distribution teble and cross tabulation analysis in this study the sampling technique used was total sampling / cencus and the total sample are 90 students. Data collection technique using the questionnaire method. The result showed that the behavior students in using scholarship provided were categorized as moderate behavior (70.0%). Students' knowledge of the targets, objectives, and functions of the bidikmisi bhakti negeri scholarship are categorized as knowing (87.8%). The attitude of students in using funds for academic needs is classified as Poor (70.0%). The attitude of students in using scholarship funds for non-academic needs is well categorized (65.6%). Student actions in improving academic quality are categorized as moderate (64.4%). Thus the implementation of the scholarship provided, the implementation of the program has not fully gone well, because there are still some students in utilizing scholarship is not in line with what is expected by the government.Keywords: Implementation, Bidikmisi Bhakti Negeri Scholarship

Abstract

This study aims to determine effect of good corporate governance and ownership structure of profitability company. Where two independent variable that is GCG consist of ( the size of the board commissioners and composition of independent board of commissioners) and Ownership Structure consist of (managerial ownership and institutional ownership) and one variable dependent that is profitability company consist of (ROA,ROE,ROI)This study uses secondary data from investment gallery of indonesia stock exchange in Jendral Sudirman street number 73 Pekanbaru, Riau. The selection of samples is carried out by purposive sampling, where the population of this research is the manufacture company sector Food and Beverages with six companies sampled along 2010-2014 years. And this research method is descriptive and quantitative by using program of SPSS 20.Data analysis using multiple linear regression where the result of this study show that the size of the board commissioners and composition of independent board of commissioners does not have a significant effect on ROA; managerial ownership and institutional ownership has a significant effect on ROA; the size of the board commissioners, composition of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership simultaneously does have a significant effect on ROA; that the size of the board commissioners and composition of independent board of commissioners does not have a significant effect on ROE; managerial ownership and institutional ownership does not have a significant effect on ROE; the size of the board commissioners, composition of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership simultaneously does not have a significant effect on ROE; the size of the board commissioners and composition of independent board of commissioners does not have a significant effect on ROI; managerial ownership and institutional ownership has a significant effect on ROI; the size of the board commissioners, composition of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership simultaneously does have a significant effect on ROI.Keywords : The size of the board commissioners, composition of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, Return On Assets, Return On Equity,and Return On Investment

Abstract

Turi Beach Resort is located in a city that is the city of Batam where this location is a lot of favorite locations for tourists in the country and foreign tourists to visit, (1) to know the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of waiter and waitress at Tamingsari Turi Beach Resort Batam (2) to know the constraints encountered in the implementation of SOP waiter and waitress. The design of this study using qualitative methods with descriptive approach in which researchers will retrieve data from informants who know the restaurant in Turi Beach Resort Batam. From the research results can be concluded in the implementation of Standard Oprasional Procedure (SOP) waiter and waitress Mise And Place Table Setting, Greet And Great, Offering Menu, Taking Order, Other Service, Clearing Table, Taking The Dessert Order, Presenting Bill, Clearing and some obstacles that are found are Individual, Leadership, Team and system. Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT. Usaha Kita Makmur (UKM) Kuantan Singingi Regency. Samples in this study were taken as many as 56 respondents and techniques used Stratifield Random Sampling. The data used in this study using survey method through questionnaires and then processed to then processed with statistics through the program SPSS. The result of analysis using simple linear regression analysis (t test), and simultant significance test (test F) so that it can be seen that the variable of work motivation influence to employeeperformance variable, work enviroment variable affect to employee performance variable, and work motivation variable and the work environment affects simultaneuosly on employee performance. The calculation result known R Squre is the coefficient of determination and obtained the value of R squre of 0,724. That is, work motivation and work environment affect employee performance of 72,4%.Keyword : Work Motivation, Work environment, and Employee Performance

Abstract

Sub-Districts of Bathin Solapan is one of the sub-districts which was established on February 9, 2017 by the Government of Bengkalis District with the sub-district of Pinggir District, Office of Camat Bathin Solapan Bengkalis Regency still status of rent. at least at the Office of the Sub-district of Bathin Solapan Bengkalis Regency in 2017? ". The purpose of the research is to find out the minimum service standards at the Office of the Sub-district of Bathin Solapan in Bengkalis Regency in 2017. Qualitative research method.This research was conducted in sub-district Bathin Solapan. Primary data sources through interviews as well as secondary data sources through documents. Data analysis techniques carried out with qualitative descriptive analysis.After conducting the research, the results obtained and discussed as follows: the type of service in the Office Camat Bathin Solapan consists of 2 (two) types of services that is the service in the field of licensing and service in the field of non-licensing, service requirements in the Office Bathin Solapan Subdistrict there are different conditions in each but the conditions are easy to be completed by the community, the process / service procedure at the Office of the Bathin Solapan Sub-district from entering the file to the release of the documents the community wants to include information officers, file receiving officers, computer operators, general, sub-district secretary, and sub-district head, the officer responsible for the service at the Office of the Bathin Solapan Sub-district consists of the organizer officials, namely: sub-district head, sub-district secretary, and section head. And the technical service officers are: information officer, counter / recipient officer, and computer operator, service time at Bathin Solapan Subdistrict Office, there is a delay in completion of the document due to the limitations of the existing technical and equipment implementers, the cost of service at the Office of the Camat of Bathin Solapan is free or documents carried out by the community are not charged.Keywords: Minimum Service Standards, District Offices
