Abstract

The background studies concerning regional development issues, particularly teknopolitan education area in Pelalawan District of Langgam. Attempts to find out what are the Government's efforts Pelalawan in the development of educational areas. And knowing the constraints faced by the Government of Pelalawan in the development of educational areas.This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach. The study aimed to describe the real situation on the ground to systematically and accurately related facts and research analysis unit, as well as field observations based on data (information) in particular. Methods of data collection is by interview, documentation and observation.The results of the study describes the capacity of government based on the duties and functions of each agency participating in the development process of the educational areas. In the implementation of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) has a big share of the manufacturing Masterplan. Efforts are being made in the development of the educational areas covering political effort and technical effort, in which the political effort made by BAPPEDA in preparing the budget to lobby parliament in budget disbursement. Technical efforts made in the process of land release and licensing of the Minister concerned. Then the constraints faced by the Government Pelalawan namely the budget and land release. That there is not enough budget for education regional development process entirely, and only the construction of the College of Technology Pelalawan (STTP) available, so that the area of education that target in 2017 have been completed, but it is still STTP is completed. Constraints land release has also become an important issue because of the slow process of land pelepaasan make the development process can not be done.Keywords:Government Capacity, Teknopolitan, Education Department

Abstract

PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru is one of the many travel agency companies that are engaged in organizing pilgrimage and umrah trips in the city of Pekanbaru. Many factors are taken into consideration by consumers in choosing an Umrah travel agency that is in accordance with their wishes. These factors consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely culture, social, personality, psychological and external factors, namely products, prices, promotions, places. This study aims to identify what factors influence consumer decisions in the selection of umrah packages at PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, with the number of samples or respondents as many as 100 people obtained by using Slovin's adequacy formula. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. This study uses a measurement technique with a Likert scale to measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of a person or group of people about social phenomena. The results of the study show that the price factor greatly influences consumer decisions in the selection of umrah packages at PT. Smevasindo Holiday based on consumer responses to price factors with a total score of 889 in the range of scores of 840 - 1,000 with the category strongly agree. Keywords: Consumer Decisions, Travel Bureau, Umrah Package

Abstract

This research explains the role of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in handling Yazidi refugees in Iraq 2014-2017. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is one part of the United Nations. UNHCR has a responsibility on humanitarian issues particularly refugee cases because of UNHCR's mandate. In August 2014, extremist Islamic militant groups from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) killed thousands of Yazidi residents in the Sinjar region of Iraq.The writer uses the pluralism perspective and groupings of countries level of analysis. The theory used for this research is theory of international organization. This research uses qualitative research method. The data was obtained through library research, and search online media research. Further, that was arranged in the form of descriptive research report.UNHCR have a role as the initiator by collaborating with Canada in the resettlement program. As a facilitator, UNHCR provides direct relief facilities to Yazidi refugees, and cooperates with the UN's world food program to provide food aid to Yazidi refugee families who escaped violence and abuse in the Sinjar region. And as a determinator, UNHCR provides refugee status through the refugee status determination mechanism (RSD) based on the 1951 Convention on refugee status. In addition, UNHCR also helps refugees to obtain durable solutions, namely, local integration, voluntary repatriation and resettlement.Keywords : UNHCR, Role, Refugee, Yazidis, International Organization

Abstract

The location chosen in this study is a dimly lit stalls which is lively on the street of SM. Amin Labuh Baru Barat Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The location of the study was taken because along SM. Amin street precisely RT 03 RW 03 there are around 20 dimly lit stalls that are still operating. The purpose of this research is to find out the business activities that exist in dimly lit stalls and to find out whether there is covert prostitution activity in dimly lit stalls. The data analysis technique is done qualitatively by using descriptive data analysis of the data obtained in the field in the form of words. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are 1) activities or activities carried out by customers in dimly lit stalls namely drinking hard while karaoke, this activity is almost carried out by every visitor who visits the dimly lit stall because the main thing provided by stall owners is karaoke and liquor. 2) Prostitution Activities, before the stalls on the street of SM Amin Labuh Baru Barat Village have not been used as entertainment or lewd places but as a place to sell items of daily necessities but now they have been misused, namely for prostitution. Apart from drinking liquor and karaoke, the dimly lit stall owners also provide places for prostitution. This is made by stall owners to reap greater profits because if customers want to do prostitution, of course the customer must pay again for the activity so that it is known that there is clearly prostitution carried out by visitors to dimly lit stalls starting from ordinary kisses. up to sexual intercourse. Keywords: The dimly lit stall and prostitution

Abstract

Marketing communication is an activity that helps guests in making decisions and of course there is a process of influencing the choice of prospective buyers. Therefore travel agents must have marketers who are capable of communicating with guests, so guests will be influenced to buy packages from companies, especially sales marketing. This study aims to determine guest responses about the application  marketing communication of sales marketing divisions at PT. Sela Express Tour Pekanbaru. To find out the response of guests about marketing communication as measured by 5 components, that : for the audience, consider time and cost, more than one purpose, well-organized, pay attention to the tone and influence on the audience. research will be known and measured by quantitative descriptive methods. This study sampled 80 respondents taken using the theory from Singarimbun. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. To measure the data interval in this study using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study showed that guest responses to the application of marketing communication sales marketing division at PT. As a result growth of that situation generate disquiet of society and government of town. ( 1) How social pressure which accepted by former adolescent convict of society? ( 2) how behavior of adaptation of[is former adolescent convict in the middle of society?. Intention of this research to know social pressure which accepted by former adolescent convict [in] society, and to know behavior of adaptation of[is former adolescent convict [in] society. this research represent descriptive research with approach qualitative. Subjek in this research [is] the former convict institute special construction [of] class child of II sub-province fifty town counted 6 informan by 12 last supporter informan [in] using technique of purposive sampling, to collect data [at] this research [is] used [by] circumstantial interview, observation, and documentation. Pursuant to result of research above earning [in] concluding that ( 1) There are 3 social pressure which [in] accepting by former convict after exit of special construction institute [of] child of klas II extract foreland, the tkanan that is social pressure of family, social pressure of residence society and social pressure in economic activity, but the pressure there [is] which [in] accepting to duplicate even the pressure [in] accepting the overall of by former convict after exit of institute ( 2) some of the informan also accept pressure of residence society environment, making the former narapidan get bad view of its residence environment which finally cause the the informan have me me [to] digress again after exit of construction institute, here also [in] finding of pressure in economic activity where former the convict cannot x'self menyeseuaikan in requirement of economics in the middle of society, [the] mentioned happened because [do] not get work [in] its residence environment and education the broken after exit of construction institute. : ( 3) have my Me [to] follow the way of and order to reach the target of which [in] determining [in] society ( Konformitas have), me me [to] by wrong according to society but reach the target of which [in] accepting society ( Inovasi) and behavior wearing the way of which [is] prohibited and [do] not sesui with [in] determining society and yield behavior which outside norm and value in society in the form of pembrontakan of attitude ( Rebellion)

Abstract

The development of the business world makes many companies competing in the stock market. Through the capital market the company can raise funds to conduct economic activities because the capital derived from the owner of the company is usually not enough to run the company's operations. In the stock market of securities in the form of stocks become a special attraction for investors, where the stock can provide greater profits but, also can give big losses. The purpose of this study is to test the partial and simultaneous influence of liquidity and profitability to stock prices of chemical sub-companies. By using purposive sampling determined 7 companies as sample. This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Analysis technique used is classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially (t test) liquidity and profitability did not affect the stock price. Based on F test liquidity and profitability does not affect the stock price of chemical sub-companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability and Stock Price

Abstract

This study aims t determine the effect of recruitment and compensation on employee performance partially and simultaneously. This study uses questiomaires as a means of collecting data distributed 87 employees in Hotel Grand Zuri Pekanbaru. The data from the questiomaireswas further processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis, using SPSS 18.0 by performing validity test, reliability test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hyphotesis test with t test (partial) and F(simultaneous).The result showed that the result of the first hyphotesis testing of recruitment employee performance is t hitung (8.795) >ttabel (1.988), meaning that recruitment variables significantly effect employee performance. Both compensation on employee performance is thitung (10.175) >ttabel (1.988), meaning compentation has a significantly effect on employee performance. The result of F test of recruitment and compensation on employee performance is Fhitung (85.001) >Ftabel (3.105), meaning recruitment and compensation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Recruitment, Compensation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Invironmental problems that exist in the Muara Fajar landfill, of course, the role of the City Government does not escape the role of the Pekanbaru City Sanitation Office in collaboration with the Muara Fajar sub-district to manage the garbage that will damage the environment around the Muara landfill site. fajar timur, for that there is a need for participatory communication between the so that people want and participate in the management of waste in their region. The purpose of this study was to determine the participatory communication strategy used by the Environment and Hygiene Office of Pekanbaru City in managing waste at the Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Muara Fajar Timur Village, how community participation and inhibiting factors of participatory communication.Informants in this study were 5 people, including: Head of Department / Sub-Sector/Representative in the Department of Environment and Cleanliness of Pekanbaru City, East Muara Fajar Village Head, TPA Leader / Overseer, TPA Members / Workers and the surrounding Community. The analysis of the data used is the analysis of qualitative data from the analysis of various data collected in the field. Then the data is classified based on certain criteria.The results of the research show that the participatory communication strategy of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Office in managing waste in Muara Fajar Timur Village is direct socialization to the community using baleho, banners and circulars to related parties. In addition, community participation in waste management in Muara Fajar Timur Village is quite good, for the inhibiting factors of communication, community participation in waste management in Muara Fajar Timur Village includes internal and external factors such as incompetent human resources, lack of supporting funds, lack of adequate facilities from the Government, time constraints, and lifestyle or habits of citizens.Keywords : Participatory Communication, Environmental and Hygiene Office of the City of Pekanbaru, Managing Waste.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the interest of Russia in cooperation among countries of the Caspian Sea. Caspian Sea is an area around the countries of Central Asia which have natural resources of oil and natural gas high in it. Located in the Caspian Sea between Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan. Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Caspian Sea is an oceans bordered by two countries, the Soviet Union and Iran who have an interest in the Caspian Sea. The increasing number of independent countries around the region, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, then the distribution of resources stored in the Caspian Sea into the debate for countries bordering. Through this cooperation, the Russian interests in the Caspian Sea region will be met and the conflict between the countries of the Caspian Sea will be resolved. This reasearch theoretically has been built by realism perspective on International Relations and supported by interest theories by Hans J. Morgenthau, and also international cooperation theory, and national interest. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework on this research is guided by qualitative explanation methods. This research uses country-level analysis. Russia as a country that has the greatest interest in the Caspian Sea region seeks to establish cooperation between the countries of the Caspian Sea. Russia plays an active role in the cooperation between countries of the Caspian Sea is to achieve the interests of economic, political and security of Russia in the Caspian Sea region.
