Abstract

Reading interest is one of the work programs of library development carried out by the Riau Province Library and Archives Office in the 2014-2019 RPJMD. In the library development work program, among others, organizing reading interest competitions, developing reading interest and culture, promoting libraries and film screenings, workshops for reading and writing, revitalizing libraries or mobile libraries, and so on are still not maximized due to various factors declining. . This research is motivated by how the strategy of the Riau Provincial Library and Archives Service in increasing people's interest in reading. The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems that occur in the implementation of the strategy which causes a decrease in the number of visitors in the HS Soeman Library. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research type. The types of research data are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis.The results showed that increasing interest in reading carried out by the Department of Library and Archives of Riau Province has not been optimal. This can be seen from the decline in the number of visitors at the HS Soeman Library. There are inhibiting factors both from an internal and external perspective; provision of inefficient facilities and infrastructure and poor coordination. The right solution to solve the problem of increasing reading interest in the Soeman Hs Library is to create a tidier and more effective program planning and create policies that can improve coordination between each person in charge in each section concerned and the community, increase the budget, and increase reading interest. more intensive and routine. Keywords: Strategy, Reading Interests, Dipersip

Abstract

This research analyzes the Indonesia’s effort to make Ubud as a gastronomy tourism through United Nations of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2017- 2019. Study of culture and food is gastronomy. Understanding, tasting, experiencing, researching, discovering and writing about the sensory qualities of human nutrition and human preparation is called gastronomy.This research uses a pluralism perspective. Policies can be from different actors. The theory of cultural diplomacy is used to analyze this study. The method used is a qualitative method. The data obtained by doing literature study which consist of books, journal, websites and dissertation.This research shows the result of Indonesia’s effort to make Ubud a gastronomy tourism through United Nations of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Cultural diplomacy carried out by Indonesia uses the form of diplomacy in the form of exhibitions, competitions, negotiations and conferences. The forms of diplomacy that have been carried out by Indonesia have resulted in good relations between Indonesian government and UNWTO, and also increasing cooperation between Indonesia and UNWTO in gastronomy. Keywords : Ubud, Gastronomy, UNWTO, Cultural Diplomacy

Abstract

In this research, in the 2019 legislative election, there was a very signivicant increase in vote acquisition which led to an increase in the acquisition of PKS cadre seats in the Pekanbaru City DPRD. This can be seen from the increase of 31,816 votes in 2019, where in the 2014 election only 21,973 votes were obtained, which researchers tried to formulate with the following questions “what is the winning strategy implemented by the prosperous justice party in the legislative election of Pekanbaru City 2019.” The purpose of this research is in order to know what strategies are  the carried out by the DPD PKS Pekanbaru CityThe research method uses a qualitative approach where this research produces descriptive data. The research was conducted at the DPD PKS Pekanbaru City Office.Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are 2 strategies used, namely defensive, both of which have an effect on the increase in the vote of the PKS party it self compared to the previous election. PKS winning factors include the hard work of the cadres and the character of the obstacle factors are the uneven distribution of cadres and low level of cadres and the low level of political education among the voters.Keywords : Winning Strategy, Legislative Elections 2019.

Abstract

This study focuses on Singapore's policy in facing the online transportation industry. Technological developments have encouraged the emergence of various new businesses with high technology utilization, such as    e-commerce, fintech, online ticket-booking, and ride-hailing. Indeed, countries in the world still have to continue to study and see feedback from the public and business actors on the policies that have been issued to regulate the implementation of this new business, so that they can formulate the most appropriate policies and create conducive market conditions. Gojek responded to the merger of Grab and Uber as an opportunity to expand the market in Singapore. The Singapore government sees this merger has caused a significant reduction in competition.This research uses library research method. This method describes the phenomena that occur in order to obtain objective and accurate conclusions. This study uses a neorealism perspective and a nation-state level of analysis. This research uses economic nationalism theory and the concept of competition policy.Overall, the Singapore government issued the Point-to-Point Passenger Act of 2019 as a policy to maintain and ensure that online taxis can operate alongside other public transportation. This regulation contains about realizing an open and innovative market, so that Gojek's entry into Singapore is in line with the contents of the regulation, following the decreased competition due to the merger of Grab and Uber. The entry of ride-hailing service businesses to Singapore has been proven to reduce costs and increase the income of online taxi drivers. The Singapore government wants a healthy and pro-competitive online transportation market.Key words: Economic Nationalism Theory, Neorealism, Point-to-Point Passenger Act of 2019

Abstract

The weak selection process for the feasibility of beneficiaries of funds and during assistance in using the Village Economic Business Fund-Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) Perdana Mandiri Sejahtera has an impact on the amount of refunds that have been distributed not in accordance with expectations, this is due to weak supervision carried out so that the employees do their own way without paying attention to what has become a reference.               The formulation of the research problem is how is the supervision of the Bengkalis Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) on the Economic Business of the Perdana Mandiri Sejahtera Village of Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) in 2017 ?, and what factors are obstacles to the supervision of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) ) Bengkalis Regency to Perdana Mandiri Sejahtera Economic Business Village (UEK-SP) in 2017 ?.               The research objective was to determine the supervision of the Bengkalis Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) on the Economic Business of the Perdana Mandiri Sejahtera Village of Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) in 2017, and to determine the factors that become obstacles in the supervision of the Community and Village Empowerment Service ( DPMD) Bengkalis Regency on the Economic Business of the Perdana Mandiri Sejahtera Savings and Loan Village (UEK-SP) in 2017               Supervision of the Bengkalis Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) is only guided by the rules made by UEK-SP, determining the measurement of the implementation of activities in 2 ways, namely visiting directly to the business location and by telephone followed by sending data via e-mail, measurement implementation is to directly conduct checks in the field, in comparing the implementation, it is found that there are implementation standards that are not in accordance with the implemented practice, the inhibiting factor in supervision is the not yet established implementation standards and limited human resources. Keywords: Supervision, Savings and Loan (UEK-SP) Urban Village Economic Enterprises

Abstract

Padang prayer is a prayer that is done once a years. Padang prayer in the village across from this rotten insland is a prayer that was once done in the field or done near the batang kuantan river by the village across from the rotten islan. Implementation of the Padang prayer which is now being done in the mosque. The purpose of the implementation of this Padang prayer is, safe in farming, safe for the village and safe in whatever happens in the village across form the rotten island. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research in order to obtain clear data and data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Based on the analysis of the Padang preyer, it can be concluded that this Padang Preyer is a prayer that has been around for a long time, since time immemorial. Our ancestour used to be, and until now this Padang Prayer is still being carried out even implementation of the Padang Prayer.Keywords: Field Prayer, change, Desatination.

Abstract

Alpha Hotel under the management of Satu Enam Delapan Bersama Company which was established on February 27, 2012 and recorded in AKTA Number 45, was legalized at the notary office of Sutrisno Arsjad, S.H but began operating as of December 14, 2013. This hotel is a branch of Alpha Inn Hotel located in Medan City, North Sumatra. Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru is located in a very strategic location on Jalan Haji Imam Munandar No. 17, guests can not only expect easy access to the hotel, but can also reach all locations in Pekanbaru easily, including places such as shopping centers, various tourist sites, recreational locations, and only about 10 to 15 minutes from the airport International Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru. The importance of a cook's creativity in the food plating technique is very influential on the quality of the food served in order to attract and add to the customer's interest when consuming it. This research was conducted to determine the creativity of a cook in food plating techniques. This study uses qualitative methods, while data collection techniques in this study use observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The key informants in this study were 3 cook employees. Based on the results of research conducted, for the overall interview results said that the creativity of cook in food plating techniques in theRestaurants of Alpha Hotel Pekanbarustill need to improve and maintain the quality that they have.Keywords: Creativity, Cook, Food Plating, Restaurant.

Abstract

Indragiri Hulu Regency is one of the districts that received the title of Madya as a child-friendly district in 2019, and the Pasir Penyu District is a pilot sub-district for other sub-districts. But in getting this award, there are still many problems that occur in the Pasir Turtle District, including cases of juvenile delinquency and molestation of minors, this case always increases every year from 2017 to 2019, therefore the Women Empowerment and Protection Agency makes The Task Force for the creation of a Child Friendly District Program to reduce problems that occur in Indragiri Hulu Regency               This study used a qualitative research method. Research sites at the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Indragiri Hulu District and Pasir Penyu District and the surrounding communities. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researchers used participation extension and triangulation               Based on the technical analysis above, the researchers assessed and concluded that the communication activities carried out by the task force unit in realizing the Child Friendly District program were several ways, namely socialization, supervision, and making facilities and infrastructure in the Pasir Penyu sub-district to support the realization of the Child Friendly District program in the District. Abstract

In 2019 there was a phenomenon where the President of the Republic of Indonesia supported the ratification of the revision KPK Law of 2002 to Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the KPK. Students and the public who disagreed with the president's support for the ratification held a demonstration to ask the president to issue a perppu, however, the president rejected this, but there was a decline after the ratification of the revision of the KPK Law. The formulation of problem questions, namely: 1) Where is the Position of Pekanbaru City Students Based on the Criteria given by Paige in the Concept of Political Participation in the Ramlan Surbakti Book ?; 2) Where is the Position of Pekanbaru City Students Among the 4 Forms of Apathy?. The research objectives were: (1) To determine the position of Pekanbaru City students based on the criteria given by Paige from the two factors that influenced the levels of political participation in the book of Ramlan Surbakti; (2) To determine the position of Pekanbaru City students among the 4 forms of apathy. This study uses a "mixed" research approach. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires and followed by interviews. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises  play an important role in the economy of Kuantan Singingi Regency, especially in driving economic activities, increasing income and providing employment opportunities. The policy in implementing the UMKM development program by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the UMKM Cooperative, Kuantan Singingi Regency is a program of entrepreneurship development and competitive advantage of MSMEs which includes training, coaching and providing assistance to MSME players. This study aims to determine the implementation of entrepreneurship and competitive development programs for MSMEs and to determine the inhibiting factors. This research uses theoryGeorge R. Terry in Manullang (2012:8), Planning (Planning),Organizing (Organizing),Implementation (Actuating),Supervision (Controlling).This research uses qualitative methods and documentation. The findings in this study indicate that the implementation of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises development program in Kuantan Singi Regency has not been optimal. This is indicated by the lack of mastery and application of technology by MSME actors, they prefer manual equipment, besides that, MSME actors.still not paying attention to financial management properly.Keywords: Management, Program Implementation, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
