Abstract

The development of sago is an opportunity to improve the economy of the people of the Meranti Islands Regency. The development of Sago Commodity in the Meranti Islands Regency is aimed at the greatest possible welfare of the people of the Meranti Islands Regency through the sago development program with the establishment of the Meranti Islands Regency as the center of excellence for the national sago commodity. The purpose of this study was to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of sago in the Meranti Islands Regency. This study uses purposive sampling technique and qualitative research uses a descriptive approach and uses data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation to be analyzed further. The results of this study indicate that: first, the development of Sago Commodity in the Meranti Islands Regency is running well, marked by an increase in the amount of sago production per year. Second, the supporting factor for the development of this area is the geographic condition of the Meranti Islands Regency with 60% of the area consisting of peat soils and modern production equipment. Keywords: program, superior commodity of sago, regional income

Abstract

Regional Head Elections in Indonesia in 2020 will be held simultaneously for regions whose term of office for regional heads ends in 2021. Simultaneous Regional Head Election System in 2020 is not the first time but the fourth time it has been held inIndonesia. When the registration process for regional head candidates has been opened at the General Election Commission (KPU) of Kuantan Singingi Regency, until the registration limit for regional head candidates is closed, the Candidate Pair dr. Ukup-Gumpita could not register himself as a candidate for Regent and Deputy Regent of Kuantan Singingi for the 2020-2025 period, this was motivated by the lack of support from political parties from the pair dr. Ukup-Gumpita, as it should be, the absolute requirement to run in the regional head election is to have the support of a political party. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, namely research that intends to describe the phenomena that occur at the research location using the analysis of anatural approach. Data collection techniques include   interviews,  observation,documentation.Based on the results of the research, Modalities in political contestation, apart from the role of candidate figures/modalities, are also largely determined by the role of political and economic support, socio-political and economic actors. In the contestation of the Regional Head General Election, political funds will also determine the winning strategy carried out by the candidate and team. Economic modalities are very much needed to finance all stages of the Regional Head General Election by the candidate and the winning team. And based on the results of the research examined, other causes of dr.ukup's failure to move forward were the lack of planning and strategy in dealing with the PILKADA, lack of support from parties and the problem of dr.ukup's popularity in society. Keywords: Community Participation, in Waste Management.

Abstract

The google classroom application plays a very important role in the learning process in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for students. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective Google Classroom learning was for students majoring in communication science in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive quantitative, the population of the 2015-2020 class of communication science majors is 700. 10% is taken using the Slovin formula, a sample of 88 people is obtained with a positive sampling technique, the data collection technique used is questionnaires and documentation and tested using SPSS 23. The results showed that the effectiveness of Goggle Classroom learning for Communication Science students in the Covid-19 pandemic era was seen from the average convenience indicator of 3.21 and classified as effective, then the benefit indicator was 2.97 classified as effective and the quality indicator was 3. ,14 is considered effective. Overall, the effectiveness of Goggle Classroom learning for Communication Studies students in the Covid-19 pandemic era is considered effective. Keywords: Effectiveness, Google Classroom, Pandemic  Covid-19

Abstract

Integrated motor vehicle tax control in Riau Province is a trrobosan that is made by the Riau Provincial Revenue Agency which aims to increase motor vehicle tax revenues in Riau Province. With the presence of the application of this control it is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of paying taxes on timelyly. The purpose of this study was to find out how effective in the control of motor vehicle tax that had been running and knew what the inhibiting and supporting factors were. This study uses an interactive analysis technique with a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach and data on both primary and secondary data which is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation then in analysis based on research problems. The results of this study show that the effectiveness of motorized vehicle tax turbanes is integrated in Riau Province in the receipt of motor vehicle tax has been said to be effective and run optimally. Supporting factors The effectiveness of motor vehicle tax control is human resources and facilities and infrastructure. Inhibitory factors are lack of participation and public awareness of taxpayers in paying motor vehicle tax.  Keywords: effectiveness, motor vehicle tax

Abstract

The implication of the impact of Covid-19 is the decline in economic growth including Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2020 for non-natural disaster emergencies, the Indragiri Hulu Regency Government distributes Cash Social Assistance (CSA), Cash Social Assistance (CSA) in Indragiri Hulu Regency only in 2020 while other districts are still distributing Cash Social Assistance (CSA) until 2021, of course in this case it is related to the implementation of policies that affect it.This research is to find out how the implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic Cash Social Assistance (CSA) policy in Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2020 and to find out the factors that influence the implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic Cash Social Assistance (CSA) policy in Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation.The results of this study are that the implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic Cash Social Assistance (CSA) policy in Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2020 is not in accordance with the Indragiri Hulu Regent Regulation Number 25 of 2020 which should have been implemented effectively in its distribution to be ineffective because there is a problem, namely Invalid data on Cash Social Assistance (CSA) recipients, and incorrectly targeted Cash Social Assistance (CSA) recipients. The factors that influence the implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic Cash Social Assistance (CSA) policy in Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2020 are poor communication and coordination between the Regional Government and the Village Government, Inadequate Resources due to lack of experts, Inadequate disposition effective, and a complicated bureaucratic structure. Keywords: Communication, Resources, Disposition, Bureaucratic Structure.

Abstract

 Phenomenon of social media Instagram as a medium for disseminating information, has a great response as the target recipient of information. A variety of information disseminated by social media Instagram, one of which is the message of da'wah. The message of da'wah spread by the hijab alila instagram account is through the promotion and dissemination of information about da'wah in the form of cartoon illustrations. Alila's hijab account uses representationsthe inform of cartoon images as da'wah content on her Instagram. One cartoon image can represent thousands of meanings received by the reader. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth representation of da'wah messages through cartoons on the hijab alila instagram account. By using the theory of Roland Barthes' Semiotics Analysis and obtained the meaning contained in the propaganda cartoon image. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. To analyze the data, the researcher used Roland Barthes Semiotic Analysis by examining 5 units of analysis. In the two-stage signification idea model (two orders of signification), namely denotation and connotation. The connotation is identical to the ideological operation which is known as myth. Analyzing each unit of analysis, namely propaganda cartoon images from February, July, and September 2020. The images are propaganda cartoon images that have the likes most. Data collection techniques in this study were research techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of this study based on Roland Barthes' Semiotics analysis on the illustration of the hijabalila Islamic da'wah cartoon image showing three components of meaning. First, the meaning of denotation in making the da'wah cartoon, the illustrator team draws according to the provisions without violating the rules of law in Islam. Second, the connotations are described using design an attractivewith a selection of colors, fonts,illustrations and themes more hits and has a message that can be a concern in thecommunity.And thirdly, the meaning of myth is to give a da'wah message that has a positive response effect, in this case followers activecan see the truth of the message conveyed in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the supervision of money politics in the 2019 legislative general election conducted by the Pekanbaru City Bawaslu and to find out what factors influence the process of monitoring money politics in the 2019 legislative general election by the Pekanbaru City Bawaslu. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, the place of research is the Pekanbaru City Election Supervisory Board. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis starting from problem formulation, data collection, data reduction, data presentation to drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation and checking techniques.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the supervision of money politics carried out by the Pekanbaru City Bawaslu in the 2019 Legislative Election in Pekanbaru City in this study, the first is in the form of Preparation Stages for Election Oversight which at this stage is divided into 5 categories, namely: Preparation for Supervision, Division of Supervisory Implementers, Locus and Focus of Supervision, Regulation/Assessment of Political Money, and the last is Controlling Time Management. In accordance with Law no. 7 of 2017 which states that Bawaslu focuses on monitoring money politics on prevention efforts, which consist of monitoring plans and monitoring activities. Of the 5 stages above, according to the researcher, the preparation stage for monitoring money politics is the most crucial in conducting supervision. After optimal preparation, the next step is to evaluate. Assessment is intended to compare plans with achievements. According to the researcher, Bawaslu's achievements in terms of monitoring money politics have not been maximizSupporting factors for the occurrence of Money Politics include: Tradition, ambition of candidates / thirst for power, supportive environment, weak law enforcement, economic factors, and low public knowledge about politics. While the factors that hinder the process of monitoring money politics by the Bawaslu include: Difficulty in proving money politics practices because the formulation and elements of punishment in the legislation are not yet rigid. People tend not to dare to report to the Bawaslu and the Gakkumdu center. Low public awareness and knowledge of the practice of money politics. The author's suggestion is to the Pekanbaru City Bawaslu and the ranks of election organizers to optimize it again in coordinating in terms of supervision so that it is carried out better. Bawaslu must also be able to make maximum efforts to eliminate the factors that are driving the occurrence of money politics. Bawaslu instills a moralistic system, namely prevention through moral punishment or social witnesses. This system will strengthen moral values so that it is expected to be able to suppress the crime of money politics in the midst of society.Keywords: Supervision, Bawaslu, Money Politics

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction at PT. Gita Riau Prosperous Pekanbaru. Organizational culture and organizational commitment as a variable (X1, X2) and employee job satisfaction as a variable (Y). The problem in this study is the occurrence of employee turnover and employee turnover is accompanied by employee absenteeism which increases every year. It can be seen from the table of turnover and company attendance. This research is a research that uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this research is PT. Gita Riau Makmur Pekanbaru with a total of 116 employees and a sample of 54 people calculated using the slovin formula. The sampling method in this study used the Accidental Sampling method, data collection using questionnaires and interviews. data analysis using SPSS. From the results of the tests conducted, it shows Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction. Organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction. Abstract

Academic achievement is the result of the final achievement of learning within a specified period of time through tests that have been provided by each school or institution.  Orphanages are institutions or places to accommodate orphans, neglected and under the poverty line.  Where children are provided with education and various skills according to the interests and talents of each individual.  Putera Muhammadiyah Orphanage is an orphanage built to accommodate orphaned, abandoned children and children under the poverty line. This study aims to determine the factors that influence academic achievement and how the academic achievement of the children at the Putera Muhammadiyah orphanage, Bangkinang city.  In this study, the research method used was a quantitative approach with a sample of 40 children.  Determination of the subject in this study using census techniques or saturated sampling.  The theory used in this research is the structural functionalism theory of Talcott Parsons' adaptation, goal, integration, and latent patent maintenance.  From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the academic achievement of the children of Putera Muhammadiyah orphanage in Bangkinang city is in the high category with a percentage of 52.5%. The level of achievement can be divided into two forms.  First, level of achievement based on length of stay.  Second, the level of achievement based on the child's age.  The level of academic achievement based on length of stay shows that more children live more than 3 years.  Then, based on the child's age, at the age of 15 the child contribute more to academic achievement.Keywords : Academic Achievement, Orphanage.

Abstract

his research was conducted in Mandiangin Village, Siak Regency with the aim of knowing the Sakai Customary Land Conflict in Mandiangin Village. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. In collecting data using observation research methods, in-depth interviews and also documentation. The handling of this Sakai customary land conflict is the establishment of the Sakai Mandiangin Traditional Village. To determine these customary rights, a measurement of the boundaries of the Mandiangin Village area was carried out which was attended by representatives from the villages directly adjacent to Mandiangin Village. With this map of the boundaries of the Mandiangin Village, it is known the location and extent of the customary rights of the Mandiangin Village community. The role of the Sakai Traditional Institution in Mandiangin Village will be further strengthened, because the regulations that will be applied in the Traditional Village are the local customary regulations, whereas for the Sakai Mandiangin Traditional Village it is the Sakai Customary Regulation. However, all customary regulations that are stipulated will refer to their conformity with government regulations and do not violate applicable norms.
