Abstract

This research aims to provide an understanding about motive in using “Excellence” (an internal media) to the employee information satisfaction at Bank Riau-Kepri Pekanbaru Branch, and also to find out the favourite category for “Excellence” readers. Corporate Secretary; as a part of editorial team; has important role in engaging communication to the all employees that are widely spread at Riau and Kepulauan Riau Province. Moreover, Corporate Secretary should also have knowledge about reader motives so that “Excellence” can deliver appropriate content that can give information satisfaction to the readers. Quantitative research method was used to find out: (a) significant relation between motives in using Excellence to the employee satisfaction at Bank Riau-Kepri Pekanbaru Branch, and (b) “Excellence” reader favourite category. In order to meet these objectives, two approaches were followed; questionnaire and library studies. Later, data gathered from these questionnaires were then analysed by Simple Linear Regression method using commercial statistical software SPSS version 16.0. Result revealed that there was a significant correlation between motive and the use of “Excellence” to the employee satisfaction at Bank Riau-Kepri Pekanbaru Branch. With amount of observation (N)=70, simple Linear Regression analysis resulted a formulation of Y=20.439+0.433X. Included in this output were be (a) t=3.221, which was higher than that of “constant” in the SPPS output t=1.668, and (b) significant (a)=0.002 which was less than that of constant SPSS output a=0.1. It was concluded that correlation between motive and the use of “Excellence” was at low level, 13.2%. Regarding to the categories in “Excellence”, survey showed that 81% of respondent population chose photo gallery as their most favourite one. Keywords: Media Internal, Motif, Kepuasan

Abstract

Purus beach is a bustling tourist attraction on the visit of tourists. Same is the case with othertourist attractions, it's only natural when coastal sights Purus demand by street vendors who holdcommodities around the area. Street vendors appear as secondary economic and population demandsto meet daily needs. Local people saw this as an opportunity for them to do business, because this areahas a high enough potential trade and does not require a high relative capital. Many street vendorsdisturb public order and peace of the community because of the many merchants who violate the rulesset. This research aims to know the Scrutiny Against street vendors In Coastal Sights Regulate PurusPadang city and the factors that affect any such Scrutiny. The concept of theory that researchers use isthe concept of supervision according to the Brantas. Indicators in this research that preventivesurveillance, process and repressive. This research uses qualitative research methods, theresearchers filmed research in the Beach City of The purus. Abstract

This sister city cooperation has background because of internationalrelation cooperation that in the beginning, it has come from intercity cooperationin Europe and United States since 1950’s. The first concept implementation is ascountry politic, economic diplomatic tool in regional and international level. Theimplementation becomes support for people to create fellowship and constructivecooperation, both interelement of society, city, local and central intergovernementand interstate in the whole wide world. This sister city cooperation is a goodbridge that is really needed by developing countries, like Indonesian withAustralia.This research is done by using descriptive analysis method. Thedescriptive analysis research meaning is describing, explaining researchsubject/object based on the data where the research began from general things,explained by collecting, arranging, and interpreting data based on this thesisclassification. The data collecting technique uses library research by varioussources like: book, journal, magazine, document, essay etc. The researcher alsouse internet media as source of data, because researcher limitation to findoriginal data.This research result described that this sister city cooperation affectivityruns well, but not all aspects that are concluded in the agreement run affectively.This cooperation still needs to be developed so all planned aspects run well. Abstract

In Kampar government functions in terms of the implementation of the public service in motor vehicle feasibility test basically already done, just that in the implementation of these things – there are still things that are considered incompatible with the standard operational procedure. According to Perda Kampar in 2010 of the standard public service (SPP) and standard Operasioanal (SOP) Service UNIT for the testing of motor vehicles and the establishment and organization of the Department of arrangement of Kampar, motor vehicle testing unit established within one agency Implementing Technical Service Unit (UNIT) Testing of motor vehicles under the Department of transportation, communication and Informatics of Kampar Regency. UNIT Testing a motor vehicle (PKB) Kampar Regency, periodically testing the feasibility of public motor vehicles in Kampar.on the practice test implementation feasibility dilapangannya motorists who do UNIT Testing of motor vehicles (PKB) Kampar it was still prone to going wild (pungli) levy. A number of citizens claiming to be concerned with an action that is usually pungli often occur. Phenomenon that occurs when the real testing of motor vehicles made there is often a pungli. Pungli done ostensibly for easier management.Weak control of the Government with respect to the performance of an employee as well as the lack of a sense of responsibility to the safety of passengers on public transport, making the employees unable to provide public services.The results of this study the author gives the conclusion that the function of the Government in the public service in motor vehicle feasibility test cases covering fairness, simplicity, compassion, reliability, comfort, and trust is good enough. This is demonstrated by the responses of the respondents who are likely to declare less well, however by the presence of a pretty good response from respondents does not mean existing in the service UNIT for information and communication Department of transportation district of Kampar is already very good, but there is still need for improvement of quality of service to the community is really satisfied with the service given by the employees of theUNIT for information and communication Department of transportation district of Kampar.Keywords: Government, Public Service Function, Test Eligibility

Abstract

Local culture is a culture that reflects from the cultural life of thecommunity from which it originated and became the pride of the area that has theculture. Each region has a diverse culture and has its own characteristics, as wellas Kuantan Singingi precise depths namely Jambi has local cultural traditionsperahu baganduang, in which there are symbols that symbolize the lives ofindigenous people in their daily jambi bottom, and also the value of local valuesthat must be preserved and introduced to the public, this phenomenon makes theresearcher is interested in conducting research in order to determine the symbolicmeaning contained in perahu baganduang tradition and values of local wisdomcontained therein.This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and datacollection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. Informants inthis study traditional leaders, and community and ninik mamak. The informantsobtained by purposive sampling technique. This technique determines theinformant deliberately and known in advance.The results of this study the researcher to get the meaning of the symbolicartifacts contained in perahu baganduang tradition that symbolizes the meaningof people's daily lives depths of Lubuk Jambi and obtained values of local wisdomin it reflects the behavior of the people in theLubuk Jambi live everyday life.Keywords: Perahu baganduang, symbols, tradition, local wisdom

Abstract

Application of Motivation is critical in determining the success of the company . High or absence of organizational commitment in self- employees are also caused by a leadership style that is applied in a company . If a leader’s motivation according to the situation faced by the company, it will create a more conducive business climate and ultimately the commitment of employees in the company formed even increased . And so the goal can be achieved with good company. The purpose of this research study is to determine the form of motivation applied to the PT.Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai to know how commitment the organization to PT.Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai and to determine the relationship of motivation and organizational commitment onadministration Departement PT.Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai . In analyzing this study used a statistical technique and model used in this study is the Spearman Rank Correlation . Based on the results of the questionnaire data processing obtained results show that there is a strong relationship between motivation and organizational commitment on the PT.Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai, where the calculation results obtained from the correlation coefficient of 0.730 and hypotheses obtained by calculating t table value of 1.708 with df : 25, and α = 0.05, and t value of 5.340 . Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted , this means motivation has a significant relationship with organizational commitment on the PT .Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai .Thus it can be seen that the motivation has sizable relations with the organization's commitment to the PT.Sucofindo Subdivision Dumai. Abstract

This research was conducted on UD. Kemas, Bengkalis regency. The purpose of this study is to knows industry profile of UD. Kemas as a traditional foods small industry in Bengkalis regency from financial aspects, labor aspects, production aspects, and sales aspects because UD. Kemas is a big one of small industries in Bengkalis regency which has a good quality.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Where non population and sample. This study using key informan to obtain the information needed. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained from interview with owner of UD. Kemas about industry profile of UD. Kemas. Secondary data obtained from archives about how to make a dodol, lempuk durian, and dragon fruit crackers.From the analysis conducted known that; in financial aspects, profit UD. Kemas in 1 month is Rp. 2.652.250,-, or Rp. 31.827.000,-/year. Labor aspects, UD. Kemas have 18 workers. Production Aspects, the production process is carried out as many as 20 times in 1 month with output is 410 boxes dodol in 1 production. Lempuk produced 3 times in 1 year with output is 45 Kg lempuk. dragon fruit crackers produced 2 times in 1 month with output is 200 packages. Sales aspect, in 1 month UD. Kemas sell 1870 boxes dodol with price of dodol is Rp. 12,500, -/box, but dragon fruit dodol have a price is Rp. 15,000,-/box. Lempuk have a price is Rp. 100,000,-/Kg, and 15.000, - / ¼ pac for dragon fruit crackers. UD. Abstract

The research present describe the implementation of district regulation Karimun Regency Number 15, 2010 about mine resources (study case by Kawasan Dinamika Harmonitama Comapany in Karimun Regency). Karimun Regency one of Regency that has potency in granite, but until now this potency still needed controlling by government in manage of mines activity in Karimun Regency.The research use the methode are qualitative methodes that analyze problem research by describe the subject and object conditions based on real fact. This research use location in Karimun Regency and researcher collect data from books, government regulation, jurnal, mass media, website and deep interview with informan likes Karimun Head of Regency, Mines and Mineral Agency, staff Kawasan Dinamika Harmonitama Company and Sememal society in Meral District Karimun Regency.The conclution of this research are implementation of district regulation Karimun Regency Number 15, 2010 about mine activity by Kawasan Dinamika Harmonitama Regency are not effective. Its cause by some factor, are: communication actor between Karimun Regency government with Kawasan Dinamika Harmonitama Company, minim of quality and quantity by staff in Mines Mineral and Energy Agency of Karimun Regency, unwilingness factor from company to receive the protest from society about blasting activity of granite stones and also bureaucration structure of government that only Head of Regency has a authority to stopped the mine activity of Kawasan Dinamika Harmonita Company.Keywords: Implementation, District Regulation, and Mines.

Abstract

Conducted research aims to identify and analyze medical waste management in District General Hospital Arifin Ahmad Riau Province and to determine the factors that influence the management of medical waste in District General Hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province. Theoritical concept used is theory of environment system according to hospital by Wiku Sasmito. In this theory there are some important component in implementing environmental management system hospital. They are management support, planning, implementation, review and action. This research will used descriptive qualitative research method that analyze for in details based on the fact that comes out in field, then from interview and observation conclution can be support data presented.Research result shows that medical waste management system in District General Hospital Arifin ahmad Riau Province has been accomplished in accordance with the decision of the Health Minister of Republic Indonesia Number 1204. But it can not be said to be implemented to the fullest, because some factors that influence the implementation of medical waste management in District General Hospital Arifin ahmad Riau Province. Abstract

Clean and healthy behavior is an attempt to provide a learning experience or creating a condition for individuals , families , groups and communities , with open lines of communication , provide information and to educate , to improve knowledge , attitudes and behavior , through leadership approaches (advocacy) , bina atmosphere (social support) and empowerment (empowerman) as an attempt to help people identify and resolve their own problems , in respective order , in order to implement ways of healthy living , in order to maintain , and improve health memilihara . The problem addressed in this paper is to describe the implementation of a clean and healthy living behaviors and the factors that influence the behavior of living clean and healthy . The goal is to determine the implementation of clean and healthy behavior and to determine the factors that influence behavior - fator clean and healthy living . The population is families with children under five in rural mountain communities oversleep totaling 47 families (head of household) , using census data capture techniques . The method used is descriptive quantitative methods with quantitative data analysis . The research instrument used was a questionnaire , interview and documentation . The theory used for this problem is the theory of Max Weber's theory is a theory of social action . The results of the study in general , the writer can say that the implementation of clean and healthy behavior in the community has not been done oversleep mountain village where the birth of respondents were in favor by health workers only 20 % , which is 22.85 % Exclusive breastfeeding , toddler weighed every month 40 % , which uses 42.85 % water sources , washing hands with soap and clean water 12.86 % , 38.58 % healthy latrines , mosquito larvae eradication 18.58 % , mengomsumsi fruit and vegetables every day 11.43 % , and do not smoke in the room 20 % . Factors that influence the behavior of living clean and healthy are income, education, and health centers distance.
