Abstract

Promotion and transfer of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Lingga Regency by the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Lingga Regency resulted in the placement of employees who were not based on the suitability between employee qualifications and the qualifications for position requirements as well as the existence of a political element in the promotion and transfer process. This study aims to determine the application of the merit system in Promotions and Transfers at the Regional Secretariat of Lingga Regency in 2020 and the factors that influence it. Qualitative research. This, using Kartono's theory (2001: 210) that there are 5 aspects that become the parameters of the implementation of the merit system, namely: Education and Training; Experience; Skills; Ethics; and Working Time. The results of the research show that the implementation of the merit system in implementing employee transfers at the Regional Secretariat in 2020 was not fully implemented. Most of the aspects that become indicators are not implemented at all. The application of the merit system is influenced by 3 factors, namely, the limited human resources factor, the two legal factors that have loopholes and the disobedience of the organizers and the subjectivity factor, the interests of certain parties. Abstract

This research describes the efforts of the Indonesian railway industry in exporting train carriage to Bangladesh in 2016-2019. The efforts made by the Indonesian government in the Jokowi Dodo government which is considered very aggressive towards Bangladesh in terms of exporting the goods. Indonesia government has done good efforts to increase the value of Indonesian exports. This research uses the perspective of Liberalism with the concept of International Cooperation from the perspective of Liberalism. The theory used in this research is the theory of Export-Import according to David Ricardo with the level of analysis of the Nation-State. This result uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of written text journals, books, official websites, websites, and media. Abstract

The teaching and learning process must still take place even in the emergency conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is related to the fulfillment of the right of students to obtain basic education services as stated in the 1945 Constitution. The Learn from home policy is closely related to the use of technology. The implementation of the learning from home policy requires the collaboration of the Education Office, schools and parents so that students can get excellent educational services. This study aims to explain the collaboration that occurs between the Pekanbaru City Education Office, schools and parents in the teaching and learning process from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used in this study is based on 3 stages of the collaboration process according to Gray, namely problem determination, goal setting, and implementation. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques through interviews, and documentation studies from various sources. The results of this study show the collaboration of the Education Office, schools and parents in the process of teaching and learning from home at the basic education level in Pekanbaru City during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 in the process of determining the problem, there were limited learning support facilities and lack of ability to operate learning support facilities from home. In the process of goal setting is that educational services must still run. The implementation has not gone well because it is constrained by the lack of awareness of the role of parents in the collaboration that occurs and limited costs. Abstract

This study explains the commitment of the Indonesian government after marine pollution by garbage originating from land to the Naiyang Beach area of Phuket, Thailand. This pollution is known as Land Based Sources Pollution. This incident received a response from the governments of Indonesia and Thailand. After confirming this through the Applied Oceanography Division of the Marine Research Center, the Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) ratified Presidential Decree No. 83 of 2018 in 2020, namely the National Action Plan (RAN) program. This study uses a Green Thought perspective in international relations and the level of analysis of the Nation State is supported by the International Cooperation Theory and this study uses the concept of The Good Neighborliness Principle. This research is a mixed research or Mixed Method with a documentary study research method. The scope of research is in 2019 to 2022 This research states that Indonesia continues to be committed to dealing with marine debris, especially in the Asean region with the National Action Plan (RAN) program “Reducing Marine Debris by 70% by 2025 or Free of Marine Debris by 2025” and encouraging the immediate implementation of the Bangkok Declaration on handling of marine debris which is expected to be legally binding. Abstract

Social media has become a very helpful platform for K-Popers in accessing all sources of information about their idols. This study aims to determine how much influence Twitter social media has on parasocial relationships and K-Popers trust in the opposite sex on followers of the @indomyfess account. This study uses a quantitative method using purposive sampling technique and using the Slovin formula which obtains a total sample of 400 from 224 thousand population of Twitter followers @indomyfess. The data collection technique used questionnaires distributed online with the help of Google Forms. The data analysis technique in this study uses path analysis with a coefficient of determination. In processing the data, researchers used SPSS version 28. The results showed (1) there was a significant influence between Twitter social media on parasocial relationships with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05, (2) that there was a significant influence between Twitter social media on the level of K-popers trust with a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05, and (3) there is no significant influence between Twitter social media through parasocial relationships on the level of trust of K-popers to the opposite sex. Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of human resource management in moving the company. The better the existing human resources are managed, the better the results obtained by the company. This research was conducted at PT. Mitra Agung Swadya Kelayang Inhu. The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence occupational health safety (K3) and employee discipline on work productivity of employees at PT. Mitra Agung Swadaya Kelayang Inhu. The sample of this study was taken as many as 51 respondents with the Slovin formula. In this study the method used is descriptive and quantitative. The data obtained from the results of the consultations were distributed directly to the field using the Random Sampling technique and then tested statistically through the SPSS program. in this study the results obtained are that Occupational Health Safety (K3) and Work Discipline have a positive and significant effect on Employee Work Productivity at PT. Abstract

This study analyzes how the efforts of the European football international organization, UEFA, in overcoming the problem of neglected children in Uganda in 2019. Uganda is one of the largest countries that has a population under the age of 18. Therefore, the problem level of neglected children in Uganda is also very high. Many of the cases of neglected children problems in Uganda were caused by domestic violence, and also the conflict in Northern Uganda in 1987. The Ugandan government has also made various efforts to address the problems of neglected children in Uganda, but these efforts have been in vain. in vain because there is no solution that seeks to address the problem of neglected children in Uganda from its roots. This study uses qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several books, journals, articles, and also websites. This study also uses a pluralism perspective, the level of group behavior analysis, and also uses international organization theory to further strengthen this research. The results of this study indicate that UEFA has made efforts to address the problem of abandoned children in Uganda. In an effort to overcome the problem of abandoned children in Uganda, UEFA carries out its role in accordance with the roles of international organizations according to Clive Archer, namely UEFA as an instrument, forum or facilitator, and also as an independent actor in efforts to overcome the problems of abandoned children in Uganda in 2019. Abstract

The waste problem is one of the problems that often arises in communities, both urban and in rural areas in overcoming this problem, the village of Pinang Sebatang Barat forms Village-Owned Enterprises or commonly abbreviated as BUMDes is a mandate of Law Number 6 of 2014 Article 87 which states that BUMDes are formed on the basis of the spirit of family and mutual cooperation to utilize all economic potential, natural resources and human resources to improve the welfare of rural communities. BUMKam tuah negeri formed a waste transportation unit in order to assist the village government in realizing a clean village that will become a tourist village but in the waste management of BUMKam Tuah Negeri Kampung Pinang Sebatang Barat there are problems such as the governance of BUMKam Tuah Negeri which still does not carry out supervision, transparency, accountability. The problem found in the field is that there is community opposition regarding the accumulation of garbage that the transport car is damaged and without any temporary unit changes. The purpose of the study was to analyze the implementation of waste governance principles by BUMKam Tuah Negeri in Kampung Pinang Sebatang Barat and to determine the constraints of waste management in Kampung Pinang Sebatang Barat in 2020-2021 in Siak Sri Indrapura regency. In this study, using the theory of good governance according to Mardiasmo because of these four principles, namely: The Rule of Law, Democracy, Transparency, and Accountability.This research method uses a qualitative approach in its research, where data sources are obtained using 3 ways, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that by using the theory of good governance accountability implemented by BUMKam tuah negeri is just reporting without a feed back regarding the truth of the data provided, in transparency BUMKam tuah negeri has not opened financial data to the public either by using banners or other media to provide information to the public. In terms of democracy, BUMKam tuah negeri gives freedom to the community to play a role in the progress of BUMKam tuah negeri, especially the waste transportation unit. The rule of law of BUMKam tuah negeri together with the village government has made village regulations that become a reference in running BUMKam tuah negeri. Some of the obstacles that affect the implementation of BUMKam tuah negeri run the implementation of good governance principles, namely capital and human resources. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on customers in shaping customer loyalty. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample is 91 respondents who are customers of PT. Karya Suka Abadi (Goodyear) Pekanbaru, using a questionnaire with a likert scale meansurement. The results showed that product quality had a direct and significan effect on customer satisfaction. The service quality variable has a direct on customer satisfaction. The customer satisfaction variable has a direct and significant effect on customer loyalty. Product quality variable has a direct and significant effect on customer loyalty. The service quality variable has a direct and significant effect on customer loyalty. Thus, it is better if PT. Karya Suka Abadi (Goodyear) Pekanbaru continues to maintain product quality and service quality so that comsumers feel satisfied and loyal to PT. Karya Suka Abadi (Goodyear) Pekanbaru. Abstract

This study describes the security cooperation between El Salvador and the United States of America to countermeasure transnational crimes committed by armed criminal groups, especially criminal groups with the greatest influence and the most criminal cases in the Americas, namely the MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha). The crimes committed by MS-13 include the mass murder on Long Island in 2017 and several cases of extortion in several suburbs of San Salvador. The transnational crimes committed by MS-13 is reported have sparked fear in society and have been regarded as the public enemy and caused suffering to a very high degree of violence for the people of El Salvador and the United States. The author collects data from books, academic journals, official documents, theses and sources from the internet related to the research issue of El Salvador's cooperation with the United States in countermeasure transnational crime by MS-13. The author uses the perspective of neorealism and state level analysis. While the theory used in this theory is the theory of international cooperation. The results show that the collaboration between El Salvador and the United States of America, namely several security operations under the Operation Community Shield program between 2017-2021 resulted in great success in increasing security in El Salvador and the United States by arresting more than 700 leaders and 11,000 members of armed criminal groups MS-13. The government authorities of El Salvador and the United States have also managed to solve more than 50 cases of murder and violence, disrupt the financial system of armed criminal groups MS-13, shut down dozens of illicit businesses, and confiscate hundreds of assets of MS-13.
