Abstract

This reseacrh analyzes the role of the ASEAN Intergovernmenal Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) in Handling Cases of Human Rights Violations of Rohingya-Myanmar in 2012-2016. More than a year from the set limit, Rohingya refugees are still mostly in shelters in Indonesia and Malaysia. Myanmar's reluctance to recognize the Rohingya as citizens has made repatriation difficult. Meanwhile, the condition of sectarian tension in Myanmar was still going on in the Rakhine State and the Rohingyas have been victims of this conflict so that hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people have returned to their homes. Together with Malaysia, Indonesia will only temporarily accommodate refugees who were adrift at sea with a total of approximately 7000 people. The temporary shelter was carried out for a maximum of one year and during that time the two countries do not want to accept new refugees from outside with a predetermined number. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data from books, academic journals, official documents, and also sources from the internet related to research issues regarding the Role of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) in Handling Cases of Human Rights Violations of Rohingya-Myanmar 2012- 2016. This research uses the Pluralism Perspective and the level of group analysis. While the theory used in this research was the theory of International Organization and uses the concept of Human Rights. This research finds that humanitarian aid has been widely channeled to the Rohingya by the AICHR countries that have hosted them. Although there are still limitations and obstacles experienced by AICHR in upholding regional human rights, especially in Myanmar, as an international organization AICHR has made efforts to realize the common goal of protecting human rights and creating a peaceful region. Abstract

Petalangan Cultural Center is one of the cultural tourism objects in Pelalawan Regency. In spite of its good potential, the Petalangan Cultural Center is not managed properly to such extent that it is being neglected which has an impact on decreasing the number of visits to the Petalangan Cultural Center. This research aims to describe the Petalangan Cultural Center as a cultural tourism object. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The key informants in this study were the head of the tourism object development section of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Pelalawan Regency, the manager of the Petalangan Cultural Center tourist attraction, the Petalangan Malay ethnic leaders, the community around the Petalangan Cultural Center, and visitors to the Petalangan Cultural Center. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the condition of the Petalangan Cultural Center as a cultural tourism object has been truly neglected at which point that it makes various unique ethnical activities of the Petalangan Malay tribe abolished for it is one of the attractions of cultural tourism at the Petalangan Cultural Center. To boot, the historical buildings and other general facilities at the Petalangan Cultural Center were not managed properly so much as being damaged to various extents.Keywords: Tourism Objects, Cultural Tourism, Petalangan Cultural Center.

Abstract

The problem of learning diffilcuties experienced by students is a very important problem that needs to get serious attention from educators.underachiever is one of the problems in the world of education to be overcome,whereas in overcoming it requires all parties, especially in this case the educators.this problem still often arises, because the potentials that exist in students cannot develop optimally.students who are said to be underachievers are students who have a high of intelligencr but their learning achievement is low (below average). The purpose of this study was to determine one-way communication patterns, two-way communication patterns, and multiple-way communication patterns of teachers in guilding underachiever students at MI Al-Ummah sukamaju village, singing downstream district, as well as to determine the difficulties for underachiever students. At MI Al-Ummah sukamaju village, singing downstream district. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this study, the research location was carried out at MI Al-Ummah sukamaju village, singingi downstream district. When the research was carried out for approximately 4 months, the subjects in this study were the principal, class teacher, homeroom teacher, and students in grades 6. And the objects of this research were one-way communication patterns, two-way communication patterns, and communication patterns. There are many teacher directions in guiding underachiever students at MI Al-Ummah sukamaju village, singing downstream district. Types and sources of data in this study using primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques using observation. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman,namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. And the technique of checking the validity of the data using the technique of extension of participation, and triangulation. The results of research on one-way communication patterns carried out by teachers are carried out formally and informally. One-way communication where the teacher explains while the students are passive.in this one-way communication it is more to the lecture method only, where the teacher explains the material, and there is no student response.a two-way communication pattern, where in this two-way communication there is reciprocity, good responses from some students, and in this communication the teacher uses a method by displaying animations that refer to pancasila,ethnicity and culture in Indonesia and religion, which is the story in the history of the prophet, the procedures for prayer and ablution. After that the teacher explains a little and then asks students about what things can be taken from the animation.multidirectional communication patterns, where in this multidirectional communication the teacher gives material and assignment to students in group, so that they can work together to exchange ideas aMnd exchange opinions.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Adaptation of Sociology FISIP Riau University Students to the Online System." The purpose of this study was to determine the adjustment made and the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by Sociology FISIP Riau University students towards online system adaptation. The research approach used is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection technique is to distribute questionnaires with the google form media platform. Based on the research results, there are two types of adaptation applied by Sociology FISIP Riau University students: conformity adaptation and innovation adaptation. In addition, there are three supporting factors for adapting the online system experienced by students and lecturers: an advanced formal education system, future orientation, and community dissatisfaction with specific areas of life. Students and lecturers experience two inhibiting factors: slow development science and very traditional attitudes of society. Keyword: Adaptation, Online Systems, Conformity, Innovation

Abstract

The orientation of female voters towards female legislative candidates in electoral district VI in the 2019 Pekanbaru City DPRD general election is interesting to study. The low orientation of female voters towards female legislative candidates as well as the factors that influence the low orientation of female voters towards female legislative candidates here is voter orientation, which is the ability of voters to express their own identity and that of those around them. Women voters with voting votes often become a bone of contention in every general election (Election). In addition to being large in number, women's votes are often used as a benchmark for male voters and first-time voters. This more dominant voice is expected by each of the respective prospective candidates in election participation. This study uses the theory of Prof. Mariam Budiarjo (2008; 136) which categorizes voter behavior into two dimensions, namely rational voter behavior and emotional voter behavior. General Election of Pekanbaru City DPRD in 2019. The research location was carried out in Pekanbaru City, to be precise in Dapil VI of Senapelan and Payung Sekaki Districts. Furthermore, data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The results of this study are the low orientation of female voters towards female legislative candidates in Dapil VI in the 2019 Pekanbaru City DPRD general election due to voter distrust in choosing female legislative candidates with the notion that female leaders make decisions using emotional rather than rational means. Abstract

The case of termination of employment that occurred at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa to 70 employees due to the impact of Covid-19, which made the company's turnover decrease. A total of 70 employees who were laid off, there were employees who were married and not employed, 25 of which were 15 people who were rehired, the difference being 10 employees who were married were not rehired. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with snowball by finding informants connecting each other from one informant to another. This study aims to determine how the adaptation strategy of ex-employees after being laid off and to find out the socio-economic conditions of ex-employees after not working. The results of this study were obtained from observations and interviews conducted and found adaptation strategies carried out on former employees who were laid off, namely the Active Strategy of opening a selling, salon and sewing business, the Passive Strategy of making savings and the Network Strategy of asking friends or relatives for help in running the business. In addition, this research also finds social conditions that are well-established towards others and economic conditions are helped. All of the adaptation strategies that are mutually binding are carried out to survive to meet daily needs. Keywords: Termination of Employment, Adaptation Strategies, Socio Economic Conditions

Abstract

The Seroja Village Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) Development Policy has resulted in various problems within the Marsawa village environment. The policy of developing the BUM Desa Seroja business unit in the selection of business units is not appropriate. There is an overlap of the BUM Desa business with the village community. The existing business units in the BUM Desa Seroja have not had a major impact on improving the economy of the Marsawa Village community. Overlapping BUM Desa business units with the community have a negative impact on community businesses. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the policy on developing the Village Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) Seroja Village Business Unit, Marsawa Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2018-2020. This study uses Good Corporate Governance Theory (KNKG: 2006) Good Corporate Governance consists of 5 principles of Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence, Equality and Fairness. The research method used is qualitative research. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research location is in Marsawa Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The results of the study prove that the development of the Village Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) Seroja Desa Marsawa resulted in overlapping with the community business unit so that the impact on the community of business actors who were the same as the BUM Desa Seroja business unit felt disadvantaged and for the impact of BUM Desa on the level of The welfare of the community is still not good but the BUM Desa Seroja has been able to provide PADes and social assistance to the people of Marsawa Village every year, and open up job opportunities. Abstract

Buying interest is one of the most important factors in the marketing concept, this is what lies behind this research. Good product quality, setting the right price is the most important part of the factors supporting buying interest. This study aims to determinane the effect of product quality, pricing on buying interest in Aneka Kue Ananda Siak, to determine and the effect of product quality on buying interest in Aneka Kue Ananda Siak, to determine the effect of pricing on buying interest in Aneka Kue Ananda Siak and to determine the effect of product quality and pricing on buying interest in Aneka Kue Ananda Siak. The research location is in Aneka Kue Ananda Siak on jalan Dr. Soetomo, Kampung Dalam Village, Siak District, Siak Regency. The reaserch sample was 100 respondents with accidental sampling technique. The reaserch method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative, with data sources from primary dan secondary data. The analytical method used in this study in simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression, and through validity and reliability tests. Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 or commonly abbreviated as COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, a type of corona virus. People with COVID-19 may experience fever, dry cough, and difficulty breathing.With this COVID-19 vaccine, of course, this is good news for people in all parts of the world, especially in the Perawang community, Tualang District, Siak Regency. However, not all people directly accept and want to be vaccinated, not a few people are still doubtful about the vaccine and tend to reject it because there are still many of them who do not understand well about this COVID-19 vaccine.This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with purposive techniques where the informants consist of 8 people from Perawang community, Tualang District, Siak Regency, including 2 people with high education, 4 general public, and 2 community leaders. Collecting data using unstructured interview techniques, non-participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Hubermann interactive data model by validating the data using the participation extension and triangulation techniques.Keywords: Perception-vaccine-Covid19-Siak

Abstract

Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a multilateral organization formed in 2001 by the People's Republic of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. At the beginning of its establishment the SCO aimed to solve the problem of national boundaries between SCO member states. In its development, SCO has entered other fields, such as economics, politics, culture and technology. SCO is a young organization that has extraordinary potential, especially in the economic field. Iran is a middle eastern country rich in its natural resources, especially oil and gas. In its development, Iran often experiences ups and downs in its economy, this is due to the many sanctions imposed by western countries, especially the United States. Therefore, Iran during the Ahmadinejad era initiated a policy of "look to the east" which meant that Iran changed the direction of its country's cooperation to non-western countries. SCO is included in this policy agenda, this is because SCO is a non-western organization that has a myriad of potentials in both the economic and political fields. This study aims to explain how Iran's efforts to join the SCO. This research uses qualitative research methods and uses secondary data collected from various sources which the author will then describe simply and systematically in sentence form. The results of the study concluded that Iran made various attempts to become a member of the SCO. Iran has repeatedly received pushback from the SCO but in 2021 after several changes in Iran's stance on international relations, Iran's accession into the SCO was accepted after more than 15 years as an observer member.
