Abstract

This research analyzes the foreign policy of the Republic of Indonesia in an effort to improve its health security through cooperation in the health sector with the People's Republic of China with research limitations 2017-2021. Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia that still has a high level of production capacity for health services, such as: raw materials for medicines, medical devices, and vaccines that are not sufficient for national needs. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis type of research. The data collection uses qualitative data collection techniques, with the types of primary data collection and secondary data collection. Meanwhile, this research uses state level analysis to understand the actions and roles of the state in determining foreign policy. This research finds that during Joko Widodo’s reign, Indonesia has a policy of foreign cooperation in the health sector which is regulated in Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No. 64 Tahun 2015. The manifestation of this policy is the cooperation in the health sector between Indonesia and China in 2017. Through principle of free-active foreign policy with inward-looking attribute, Indonesia seeks to maintain a dynamic balance in the Southeast Asian region, and avoids the perception of the tendency to side with the power from China or from Western countries in the international political constellation. Through cooperation in the health sector with China, Indonesia manages to meet the percentage of the availability of medicines, medical devices, and vaccines of 60% originating from China as a reverberations to the cooperation between the two countries in the health sector. Abstract

The city of Tanjung Balai Karimun has a good tourism potential, with a strategic location and rich culture. Many types of tourism industry are developing in the city of Tanjung Balai Karimun, one of which is culinary tourism, most of them are coffee shops or cafes which are growing rapidly. This research aims to determine the implementation of a barista's duties in carrying out services at PotoCoffee Milkshake Tanjung Balai Karimun. This research is in correlation to service delivery with some aspects such as speed, accuracy, friendliness and skill. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research are the Manager, Supervisors, Barista and customers at PotoCoffee Milkshake Tanjung Balai Karimun. In this research, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research affirms that the implementation of services has been carried out based on Standard Operating Procedures related to speed, accuracy, friendliness, and barista skills itself. Keywords: Implementation, Service, Barista, Karimun Regency.

Abstract

Tourism sector is one of priority sector in Thailand that supports the biggest income of this country. But, the massive tourism development in Thailand also has tight relation by increasing the prostitution level. Sex tourism becomes one of phenomenon that brings it to the dilemma position. Although it becomes the income source for Thailand, but the negative impact occurs such as HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, and bad image of Thailand. Those things makes Thailand’s government implement the work program of image re-branding of tourism sector. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. This research uses secondary data by using library research. This study uses Postmodernism Perspective Level of Interest Group, and Theory of Constructivism. The result of this research is Thailand has implemented various ways of public diplomacy effort to pay attention of tourist so that they forget Thailand’s image as sex tourism country. From various ways that have been done by Thailand, it has not lost the negative image of Thailand from international perspective, but Thailand has obtained various international awards in tourism sector that becomes representation of its achievement. Abstract

Studies on the quality of management services in wildlife parks are still rarely researched. Therefore, this study aims to find out by measuring the quality of management services in the Wildlife Park and Kinantan Culture tourist object in the Bukittinggi City by using a quantitative descriptive method to analyze the issues raised. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to visitors, interviews with managers, and direct field observations. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents taken based on the calculation of the slovin formula and using the non-probability sampling method. Based on the results of the research and analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the quality of management services in the Kinantan Wildlife and Cultural Park, Bukittinggi City, is in the good category and needs to be maintained. This is seen based on the five dimensions according to Pasuraman's theory, namely the dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic impact of the community on the functioning of toll roads. the method used is descriptive quantitative. The formulation of the problem in this study (1) How is the socio-economic impact felt by the community with the opening of the Pekanbaru Dumai Toll Road? (2) ) What areas are seen and developed by the community? Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of questionnaires and documentation. This research was conducted in Tanjung Palas Village, East Dumai District with a total of 66 respondents using a random sampling technique. , the religion of the most respondents is Muslim as many as 54 people with an accumulation of 81.8%, the majority of respondents' education is high school with a total of 43 people or equivalent to 65.2%, and the length of stay of respondents in the research area varies, in the range above 5 years as many 54 people with an accumulation of 81.1%. In addition, the socio-economic impact is divided into 3, namely the type of work, which dominates the self-employment of 43 people or 65.2%, the level of income that dominates the average monthly income of the respondents, namely Rp. 1,000. 000-2,000,000. with an accumulation of 63.6% and ownership of wealth which dominates the majority, the people obtain land ownership rights by buying 49 people or 74.2%. Abstract

This study used 47 respondents consisting of all employees of Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of career development and job satisfaction on employee performance at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru simultaneously and partially. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with the SPSS program. This study uses several analytical tests, namely, validity test, reliability test, multiple linear analysis test, coefficient of determination test (R²), hypothesis testing with t test (partial), and F test (simultaneous). The results showed that testing the hypothesis of career development has a significant effect on the performance of employees at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru, and job satisfaction has a significant effect on the performance of Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru employees. It can be concluded that career development and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the performance of Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru employees. Abstract

Hotel is one type of accommodation that uses part or all of the part for lodging services, food and beverage providers and other services for the general public which are managed commercially. one of the departments in the hotel, one of which is the front office. Front office is the front office. in the context of the definition of a hotel, the front office is a department in the hotel which is located at the front. This study aims to determine the management efforts of the Angkasa Garden Hotel in maintaining the service quality of front office employees at the Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive design. This study intends to collect data or descriptions related to employee services at Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru is a 3-star hotel founded by PT. Great Space Kencana. Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru was built on March 12, 2011, and began to be operational on June 10, 2012. The authors conclude that the service quality of Front Office employees at Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru is very good. This can be seen from the acquisition of each guest research that the author has described in the research questionnaire that the author has distributed to guests at Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. With the results, namely the Reliability aspect with very good results, the Responsiveness aspect with very good results, the Assurance aspect with the Doubtful results, the Empathy aspect with very good results and the last Tangible aspect with very good results. From the results of the fifth aspect, the Assurance aspect has the lowest score among other aspects. Keywords : Service Quality, Front Office, Hotel

The storage system is a system that is needed in storing goods for ease of work, storage can be created and the discovery of items that have been stored can be easily found when these items are to be used. Abstract

The phenomenon of the veil in Indonesia has been around for a long time, even before Indonesia's independence. However, the discussion of veiled women is still very interesting to study. Their existence is often associated with radical Islam and acts of terrorism that often occur in Indonesia. So that the presence of veiled women raises pro and contra actions in society, therefore this study aims to determine the background and behavior of veiled female students as the reality of the back stage, and the obstacles or challenges that are passed in building the front stage. front). ) analysis of levels of dramaturgical female students. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method, the subjects in this study were 4 veiled female students as subjects and 4 biological parents of the subjects as research informants. In collecting data using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results in this study show that the background of veiled female students is not a graduate of Islamic boarding schools, they do not get support from their families to use the veil, while the motivation of female students in wearing the veil is because of social needs, there is an invitation from friends, because of the need for safety to feel comfortable when wearing the veil, the need for appreciation because they are embarrassed not to use the veil, then the last motivation for female students in using the veil is because of social needs there is an invitation from friends to use the veil which is caused by a broken heart and wanting a change in life leading to better things emigrated. In everyday life, the self-image displayed by veiled female students is inverted from the self-image shown on the front stage. which is the behavior of veil students when at home backstage female members of Mumo Riau do not use robes, syar'i headscarves, veils, and other attributes that describe pious women, because of challenges or obstacles experienced. the subject said that he did not receive support from his family to always use the veil, in public places he often received cynical glances from strangers, and it was difficult for others to recognize him because when he wore the veil only his eyes were visible. Abstract

International organization the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) works for reaching vulnerable children with lifesaving nutrition support, health care, and education in the world. The institution was concerned with humanitarian issues for children and the most vulnerable communities. This study elaborated how UNICEF played its roles in settling Burkina Faso children’s rights and providing basic needs as the victims of conflicts in that country. This study used the theory of the role of international organizations from Clive Archer and qualitative research methods with secondary data obtained by analyzing data from books, journals, bulletins, annual reports of several related agencies, documents, or other materials that support the research. The study showed UNICEF working with Humanitarian Action for children could release children in Burkina Faso from all threats in their lives. UNICEF collaboration with the local government and other organizations conducted reconstruction and revitalization efforts successfully. Several activities satisfiedly by UNICEF were providing temporary classrooms for teaching learning activities, conducting campaigns and counseling for wellness, distributing various health and sanitation equipments, and providing psychosocial support.
