Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Balai Jaya Rokan Hilir. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation on employee productivity through work discipline at PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Balai Jaya Rokan Hilir. Work motivation as the independent variable (X) meanwhile work discipline as the intervening variable (Z) and employee productivity as the dependent variable (Y). The problem in this research is the occurrence of fluctuations in the results of CPO production accompanied by a fluctuating decrease in employee absenteeism and also the labor turnover of employees which increases every year as seen from company data and supported by expert opinions. The sample of this study was taken as many as 54 respondents from 119 populations which were calculated using the Slovin formula. The data obtained from the questionnaire results were distributed directly to the field using the Propotionate Stratified Random Sampling technique and then processed and then tested statistically through the SEM SmartPLS 3.3.7 program. From the results of the tests conducted, it shows that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on discipline, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity through Work discipline. Abstract

The role of the general election supervisory body in the general election is an activity of observing, assessing and assessing the process of holding elections in accordance with statutory regulations. Has the authority to prevent violations in the election and also to supervise the election. The research approach is qualitative with descriptive analysis method by describing phenomena and data accurately. The research location is BAWASLU, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Sources of research data are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used by interview and documentation. The results of this study are the role of the General Elections Supervisory Board in supervising the implementation of the 2019 Kuantan Singingi Regency Legislative Elections that have not been carried out to the maximum, this can be proven from the results of research that supervision has not been carried out in accordance with the laws and regulations, namely supervision of updating voter data, establishing lists temporary voters and permanent voter lists, supervision of the implementation of campaigns and campaign funds and supervision of election logistics procurement and distribution. However, Bawaslu has carried out well, namely the supervision of nominations related to the requirements and procedures for nomination of members of the legislature and the determination of candidates for legislative members. Abstract

The government has diverted part of the village fund budget for BLT in order to deal with the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Village Fund BLT is distributed in two waves. Each wave consists of three stages. The first batch was given in April (phase I), May (stage II), and June (stage (III). The objectives of writing this thesis are: First, to find out how the Village Fund BLT is managed in overcoming the impact of COVID-19 at Kepenghuluan Bagan Bhakti, Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Second, to find out the factors that hinder the distribution of Village Fund BLT in overcoming the impact of COVID-19 in the Penghuluan Bagan Bhakti District, Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research is a qualitative research. This research was conducted at Kepenghuluan Bagan Bhakti, Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The techniques used to collect data in this study were (1) Interview, (2) Observation, and (3) Documentation. The conclusions of this study indicate that the Village Fund BLT Management implemented by the Kepenghuluan Bagan Bhakti government, Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, starting from the planning stage to accountability. Even though the management of the Village Fund is very good, the community's understanding of the Village Fund policy is still low. The author suggests that the Head of Penghuluan needs to carry out socialization and introduction related to policies regarding the BLT DD program to the community, and related to procedures for managing Village Fund BLT to village officials, so that the community and village officials have adequate knowledge of managing Village Funds in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Abstract

It is explained to business actors that pharmaceutical and food preparations without a distribution permit and food contain hazardous materials that pose a risk to health, and offenders may be subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health and Law Number 18 of 2012 concerning Food. Criminal acts that have been determined in the field of pharmaceutical supplies in the form of cosmetics that do not have a distribution permit are applied to the elements of Article 197 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health. This thesis discusses how the implementation of supervision carried out by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency in Pekanbaru as a non-ministerial government authorized to conduct inspections and supervision of the circulation of cosmetic products in Pekanbaru City, especially cosmetics that are not in accordance with distribution permits and do not have certification from BPOM. To explain with this supervision, consumers can be more alert and can be protected. This research uses a descriptive format of research that aims to explain, summarize various conditions, situations, or various variables that arise in the community that is the object of this research based on what happened. Researchers also conducted research directly into the field by interviewing related parties, namely the Center for Drug and Food Control of the Republic of Indonesia, the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency in Pekanbaru. The results of the study show that there are still many cosmetic products that do not meet the standards or do not have a distribution permit in the market. As well as the implementation of supervision before being circulated as a preventive measure to ensure that drugs and food in circulation meet the standards and requirements for safety, efficacy/benefits and product quality. Abstract

The circulation of various goods does continue to occur in Indonesia in various ways carried out by the perpetrators. Increasing the circulation of illegal cigarettes is one of the obstacles that can hinder national development. Referring to Law Number 39 of 2007 concerning Excise, it is stated that offering or selling plain cigarettes or cigarettes without excise is punishable by imprisonment of 1 to 5 years, and/or a fine of 2 to 10 times the excise value to be paid. Therefore, the role of Customs and Excise in monitoring the circulation of illegal cigarettes is urgently needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of KPPBC TMP C Tembilahan in monitoring the circulation of illegal cigarettes. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques are interview and documentation techniques. This research uses Role Theory according to Ralph Linton. Role is a set of concepts related to what individuals in society can do as organizations. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The location of the research is in Reteh Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency and at the Customs and Excise Service Supervision Office (KPPBC) Type C Customs Intermediate Tembilahan. The results of the study explain that the role of KPPBC TMP C Tembilahan in the circulation of illegal cigarettes in 2019 has not been maximized. This is evidenced by the ineffectiveness of several policies such as socialization activities, land patrols and market operations. As well as the factors causing the smuggling of illegal cigarettes that have not been fully resolved. Keywords : KPPBC, Circulation, Illegal Cigarettes.

Abstract

Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam is a government agency that manages the national strategic area of Batam Island which in 2019 took place between the leaders of Pemerintah Kota Batam and Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam which was previously chaired by two different people, has become one led by the mayor. This merger led to different reactions in the media so that public relations were required to carry out media relations activities to create a sense of mutual understanding between government agencies and the public, so as to create a positive image. The purpose of this research is to find out how the strategy and the form of media relations activities carried out by Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam as well as the perceived supporting and inhibiting factors in building a positive company image.            This study uses a qualitative method with purposive as the determination of 5 informants and accidental sampling for 2 other informants. There are 7 informants as research subjects, while media relations as objects of research. Meanwhile, the data collection technique was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, for data validity techniques in the form of participation extension and triangulation.            The results of this study indicate that media relations is to build good relations with the media by establishing intense communication and providing and distributing media needs. Activity media relations of Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam include making press releases, press conferences, and reporting on activities. Furthermore, the supporting factors for media relations are the availability of budget and the program implemented is Uji Kompetensi Wartawan (UKW) program. Not only that, public relations maximizes the ability of the team by participating in various training related to public relations and the support of the leader is another supporting factor. In addition to supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors, namely the apathy of the media and society towards Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam.

Abstract

This study describes the role of Greenpeace in dealing with forest and land fires that occurred in Riau province in 2015. Forest and land fires that occurred in Riau Province are the worst areas in the Sumatra Region. The causes of the forest and land fires that occurred in Riau Province were mostly caused by human activities. The fires that occurred that year caused the people of Riau Province to feel the impact in the form of air pollution, namely smog, so that Greenpeace which is engaged in environmental NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) has a role in dealing with forest and land fire problems that occurred in Riau Province in 2015. The author collects data from interviews, books, academic journals, and internet sources related to research issues regarding Greenpeace's role in dealing with forest and land fires in Riau Province. The writer uses the Greenthought perspective and the level of group analysis. While the theory used in this theory is the theory of the Role of NGOs (Non-Govermental Organizations). The results of the study show that Greenpeace's role in dealing with land forest fires that occurred in Riau Province was the first in the field of implementation. Greenpeace formed a Fire Prevention Team which is a form of Forest Action Without Fire. The Fire Prevention Team conducted Monitoring, Investigation and extinguishing fires in burning forests in Riau in 2015. Second, in the field of catalysts, Greenpeace provides briefing to the public through social media and directly in the form of workshops. Third, in the field of Greenpeace partners in carrying out their actions in collaboration with the Karhutla disaster task force (SATGAS), which consists of the National Police and the TNI and Greenpeace in carrying out their campaigns. Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of Pekanbaru City which is accompanied by the wider need for housing. This raises new environmental problems, one of which is the reduction of water catchment land which results in runoff water flooding. Therefore, efforts are needed to absorb more water into the soil. As stated in Pekanbaru City Bylaw number 10 of 2006 concerning Water Resources and Infiltration Wells which contains the obligation to make infiltration wells. In this Bylaw, it is contained about controlling the obligation to make infiltration wells in Article 27 paragraph 1. This study aims to see how the process of controlling the obligation to make infiltration wells, especially in RTT buildings and shophouses in Bina Widya District by the Pekanbaru City PUPR Office. In this study, the author used qualitative research methods, which were conducted by interviews with related informants, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that based on several steps in the control process, the Determination of Standards related to the obligation to make infiltration wells is contained in Pekanbaru City Bylaw number 10 of 2006 then stated in Perwako number 8 of 2007 concerning Technical Guidelines for Infiltration Wells. In the performance measurement indicators of controlling the obligation to make infiltration wells, the Pekanbaru City PUPR Office has not been optimally carried out, as can be seen from the lack of people who obey the creation of infiltration wells. Furthermore, comparing the actual performance with the standards, the performance of the PUPR Office is still not effective in implementing this Bylaw. And on the indicators of determining the need for corrective action, corrective actions in controlling the obligation to make infiltration wells can be carried out by socializing the obligation to make infiltration wells, improving the performance of implementers supervising the obligations to make infiltration wells, and providing sanctions and compensation by violators of the obligation to make infiltration wells.. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of asset growth and sales growth on profitability. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach which is analyzed using statistical-based partial and multiple regression analysis. The population of the study are retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2019 as many as 8 companies. The results of this study are asset growth has a positive and significant effect on profitability and sales growth has a significant effect on profitability. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with F test and t test. Based on the results of the F test, it is known that the significance value is less than 0.05, which is 0.000, this indicates that the independent variables of asset growth and sales growth simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability. Based on the results of the T test, there is a significant effect of the sales growth variable (X2) on profitability (Y), which is 4.183. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) Melati Desa Empat Balai, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar Regency from 2016 to 2020. Based on the Liquidity Ratio, Solvency and Profitability. The research was conducted at the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) Melati Desa Empat Balai Kecamatan Kuok Kampar Regency with the method used in the form of a quantitative descriptive method is a method that is expressed in the form of words, sentences, and numbers. The data used is the Melati KUD Balance Sheet in 2016-2020 and the Business Result Calculation report (PHU). The data collection technique used is the interview and documentation method. The data analysis technique used is to collect and classify financial statement data and to conduct an assessment of financial performance. Based on the results of the financial data analysis of the Melati Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) of Empat Balai Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency, it was concluded that: (1) Current Ratio in 2016-2020 was with an average good criteria. (2) Cash Ratio for with an average poor criteria. (3) Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) in 2016-2020 is with very good criteria . (4) Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) in 2016-2020 is with an average very good criteria. (5) Net Profit Margin (NPM) for 2016-2020 is with an average very good criteria. (6) Return on Assets (ROA) in 2016-2020 is with an average poor criteria . And (7) Return On Equity (ROE) in 2016-2020 with an average poor criteria .
