Abstract

Airspace is an important territory for a country. Airspace that has economic opportunities is often a target for foreign parties. The Indonesian region has a strategic geographical location from sea, land to air. Its strategic location makes Indonesia have to protect its territory strictly. This research will focus on Indonesian airspace in the Kepulauan Riau, Indonesian airspace controlled by Singaporean authorities since 1946 by explaining the early history of Singapore's control and Indonesia's condition at that time. The author uses a constructivism perspective to be able to answer this research question, this perspective believes that international politics is formed as a result of persuasive thinking. The author analyzes at the level of analysis of the nation state based on the theory of national interests. This study uses qualitative research methods by analyzing sources related to this issue. This research shows that control over the Kepulauan Riau airspace managed by the Singaporean authorities has been going on for decades due to Indonesia's inability to manage the area due to the location of the airspace which has high use value but requires good technology and human resources. Mastery of Singapore has a positive impact on both the country by realizing its military, economic and political interests. Keywords: FIR, national interest, technology

Abstract

This study aims to influence the work environment and providing work motivation on employee morale at PT Pesisir Hidro Energi Guntung Agam, West Sumatra. Work Environment Variable as a variable (X1), Providing Work Motivation as a variable (X2) and Employee Morale as a variable (Y). This research method is descriptive quantitative using the SPSS 23 program, where the sample used is 107 employees using a random sample collection technique and data collection using a questionnaire. From the results of data analysis which includes validation test, reliability test, determination test, multiple linear regression, t test, F test so it can be concluded that the work environment partially has a positive and significant effect on employee morale, giving work motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on Employee Morale, Work Environment and Providing Work Motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on Work Morale at PT Pesisir Hidro Energi Guntung. Abstract

The Licensing Service Information System, abbreviated as SMILE, is one of the breakthroughs in the smart city program by the Siak Regency Government which can be categorized according to the Government to Business concept which makes interaction between the two parties, namely the government and the business community, to help facilitate the implementation of public services in the field of licensing that can accessed by the community for free by the community in the device. The problem of this research is what is the political will of the Siak Regency government to realize E-Government in the field of investment services. This study uses Derick W. Brinkerhoff's grand theory, namely the political will component and Indrajit's supporting theory, which is related to the determinants of readiness for implementing E-Government in the regions. The research method used is a qualitative method. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is in Siak Regency, to be precise at the One-Stop Investment and Services Agency and supporting parties on the SMILE Website. Types and sources of research data are divided into primary data using a purposive technique of collecting informants and secondary data in the form of supporting data related to SMILE. The data analysis technique used is data collection techniques from Miles and Hubermas. The results of this study are that the Political Will of Regional Government to realize E-Government in the field of Investment in 2021 is running optimally with the fulfillment of 4 indicators of government initiatives, Choice of Priority Policies/Programs, Public Commitment and Resource Allocation and Learning and Adaptation. However, there were 2 components of Political Will found to be slightly lacking, namely, the mobilization of the parties and business continuity. The obstacles that underlie the process

Abstract

TanjungLeban Village is an area where almost the entire area is peatland. The research was conducted in TanjungLeban Village, Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis Regency. The people of TanjungLeban village use peatlands to grow pineapples. With the aim of knowing, describing and analyzing how empowerment, the results of empowerment and analyzing factors that can improve pineapple farmers based on local potential of peatlands. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out in this study in the form of direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are in accordance with the analysis showing that the indicator of empowerment that has not run optimally is sustainability. For other empowerment indicators run optimally. The supporting factors for pineapple farmers are mindset and creativity as well as pineapple farmer innovation. The obstacle factor experienced by pineapple farmers is the lack of marketing and market networks, pests found on pineapple fields Keywords: Empowerment, Pineapple Farmer, Peatlands

Abstract

The leadership of the village head is a determinant of the direction for the progress or decline of the village itself. The empowerment carried out in the village does not only involve the village head, but also the involvement of the community and village apparatus. The village head has the task of empowering the village community whose goal is the welfare and independence of the village in its economy. Village head leadership is a way of moving and influencing other people (community or village apparatus). The method used is a qualitative method, the theory used in explaining this research is Kartono's leadership theory. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The type of data in this study is primary data in the form of data obtained from research informants and secondary data obtained from related documents. The results of this study indicate that the village head's leadership is something that is really needed by the people of Rambah Muda Village in implementing empowerment whose goal is to improve the welfare and independence of the village. Communication, responsibility, activeness of leaders, and motivation are the ways that the village head does in increasing community empowerment in Rambah Muda Village, especially in empowering food security and agricultural training. Based on these 4 indicators, it can be seen that the leadership of the Head of Rambah Muda Village in implementing food security empowerment in Rambah Muda Village can be said to be quite good. This can be seen from the village head's ability to establish communication by providing information to Farmer Groups, being responsible for carrying out his duties to develop the potential of idle land villages so that they can be empowered which is carried out in the food security program, being active in providing understanding to farmer groups through Agricultural Extension officers Field (PPL) by conducting training and providing good motivation to Farmer Groups. Abstract

This research analyzes how International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC) do their role to handle the victims of international armed conflict in Afghanistan that occurred in the periode of 2016 – 2021. This international armed conflict that happened in Afghansitan caused much victims from both of civilian and military sides. ICRC as an organization that engaged in the humanitarian field certainly can not remain silent about this situations that has claimed many lives as victims. As an unique international organization, ICRC take reaction to respond the situation that are considered as an emergency regarding humanity and human security based on humanitarian diplomacu concept, which is to protect the existence of every society and protect them from every forms of violence. This research uses qualitative method. Data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several books, journal, articles and official websites. This research uses the pluralism prespective and the concept of humanitarian diplomacy. The results from this research showed that ICRC as an organization with humanity principles have did several roles that important to handled and protect the rights and security of every victims caused of international armed conflict in Afghanistan. These aids are in form of assistances for food needs, improvement of health facilities and medical personnel, rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities, rebuild the economiy and also diplomatic assistances to solve the conflict and create peace. Abstract

This research was conducted in Nagari Lareh Nan Panjang, District VII Koto Sei. Sariak Padang Pariaman Regency with the aim of knowing the Forms of Social Action from Coconut Pickers (Pabaruak) in Nagari Lareh Nan Panjang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. In collecting data using observation research methods, in-depth interviews and also documentation. The theory used is the theory of Social Action from the character Max Weber in Wirawan's book which consists of Social Facts, Social Definitions, and Social Behavior. The results of this study are that the actions taken by the people of Nagari Lareh Nan Panjang who work as coconut pickers (Pabaruak) are included in the form of Instrumental Rational Action in the theory of social action in the character of Max Weber. Abstract

This research was conducted at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru, Jalan Imam Munandar No. 17. North Tangkerang, Kec. Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on employee job satisfaction at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru simultaneously and partially. In this research, the method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis. Data management techniques use SPSS version 25.0. Sample in this research took a population of employees who worked in the company as many as 48 respondents. To determine the sample using the census/ sampling total method. Data collection techniques through questionnaires using questionnaires, types and sources of data using primary and secondary data. The measurement technique using a Likert scale. From data analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with f (simultaneous) and t (partial) test. The results of the research show that giving compensation and work environment have an effect on job statisfactions, simultaneously this research has an effect. Partially, giving compensation has no effect on job satisfaction and the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Abstract

Malam Marinek is one of the traditions carried out by the Batak Mandailing tribe in Pasir Tuntung village. The implementation of the malam marinek tradition has a series of objects and processions contained in it, which along with the development of the times and culture that is dynamic in nature the implementation of this tradition begins to shift. The purpose of this study is to find out the symbolic meanings contained in the implementation of the malam marinek tradition. This research uses a quality method with a symbolic meaning approach. There were nine informants in this study, three traditional leaders, two naposo nauli bulung, two parents implementing traditions and two brides-to-be. The results of this study show that the symbolic meaning of the malam marinek tradition consists of the meaning of the symbolic situation, the meaning of the product of social interaction and the meaning of interpretation. The meaning of this symbolic situation includes both physical objects and social objects, the meaning of the product of social interaction includes the meaning of informants towards the implementation of the evening tradition and the meaning of interpetation includes the motivations and feelings of the bride-to-be as the recipient of the tradition. Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia has helped people a lot today, starting from the easier access to transportation, to buying and selling transactions that can be done online. The existing e-commerce, one of which is Tokopedia, is alleged to have more advantages for traders and buyers alike. Persuasive communication is often used by parties who have specific goals, one of which is the Tokopedia Hunter Team in recruiting New Merchants. The task of the Tokopedia RGX Pekanbaru Hunter team is to gather sellers or business people who have not yet joined Tokopedia, in this task the Hunter team plays a very important role as an extension to reach out to sellers throughout the city. This study aims to determine the credibility, persuasive messages and persuasive communication methods carried out by the Tokopedia Pekanbaru RGX Hunter Team in recruiting new Merchants in Pekanbaru. The approach method used in this study is qualitative with descriptive method, namely a method that attempts to describe and interpret objects according to what they are. In this study using a purposive technique with several predetermined informant criteria. The research subjects consisted of Hunter, Merchant and City Partner Performance with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the Tokopedia RGX Pekanbaru Hunter Team has high credibility. This was obtained because the Tokopedia Hunter team has three components that measure credibility, namely trustworthiness, experience and knowledge, and attractiveness. The persuasive communication used by the Tokopedia RGX Hunter Team has proven successful in attracting Merchants to join Tokopedia.
