ABSTRACT This study discusses the development of the defense industry in Indonesia and France. Self-reliance in producing defense equipment is essential in maintaining a country's security. This can be achieved when the country has a defense industry with the technological capacity and ability to produce all the necessary equipment domestically. However, not all countries are capable of meeting their own needs and must cooperate with more advanced countries to develop their defense industries. The theory used in this study is the typology model of the defense industry. The data used are secondary data derived from books, journals, documents, electronic media, and internet websites. The research method used is qualitative method by analyzing data from the sources mentioned. The results of this study show that France belongs to the Autarky Model typology where it has become one of the top five global exporters, while Indonesia belongs to the Niche-Production Model. Therefore, Indonesia is seeking cooperation partners that can help develop the capacity and technological advancement of defense equipment domestically. France's progress and willingness to share defense technology make defense cooperation with Indonesia possible. Keywords: Defense, Defense Equipment, Defense Industry

ABSTRACT Mempura Subdistrict has a variety of tourism potentials ranging from natural wealth, artificial tourism, historical relics, Malay art and culture as well as a silent witness to the government of the Siak Kingdom after being transferred from Artificial. This writing aims to compile a Tour Package based on the tourism potential in Mempura District. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the subjects of the study are the Siak Regency Tourism Office, Mempura District Office, and tourist attraction managers . Data collection is carried out through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that in Mempura District there are natural attractions, Cultural Attractions and Artificial attractions . Accessibility to Mempura District is very easy to reach through land access and also water and road conditions are quite good. The amenity in Mempura District is quite complete and there is an Anciliary that houses tourist attractions in Mempura District. The packages offered are mass tourism 1 day tour packages with river crossing tour packages and royal tours priced at Rp.60,000/pax, sholawat orange harvest packages priced at Rp.51,000/pax and durian collapse packages priced at Rp.55,000/pax as well as special interest tourism packages 2 Days 1 Night cruising Mempura tours at a price of Rp.439,000/pax Keywords : Tour Packages, Design, Mempura Subdistrict

ABSTRACT Latar belakang masalah penelitian. Dalam peraanan pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat konteks pembangunan pertanian melalui kearifan lokal di Desa Rambah Hilir Tengah dan untuk mengetahui kendala pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat di Desa Rambah Hilir Tengah. Desa dikatakan berhasil apabila tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan pertanian meningkat dan bertujuan untuk memajukan perkembangan desa. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 (enam) orang yang ditentukan menggunakan purposive. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa peranan pemerintah desa meningkatkan pastisipasi masyarakat dalam konteks pembangunan pertanian ada 3 yaitu Peranan Dinamisator yaitu peranan kepala desa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan yang telah diadakan, Peranan Katalisator yaitu peranan yang membentuk suatu kegiatan dalam perencanaan pembangunan pertanian yang ada di desa, Peranan Pelopor yaitu peranan yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil kerja yang telah dilaksanakan dengan adanya partisipasi masyarakat desa. ABSTRACT In line with the many divisions in the regions, it turns out that there are still many discourses on the expansion of other regions. One of the many discourses on the expansion of the area is the discourse on the division of Mandau Regency which wants to split itself from Bengkalis Regency. The proposal for the formation of the Mandau Regency itself had actually begun in 1999, which was outlined in the DPR-RI Initiative Draft Law (RUU) for the 1999-2004 period and the 2004-2009 period. The purpose of this research is to explain the dynamics of the Discourse on the Expansion of the Mandau District into an Autonomous Region. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is research that is used to investigate, discover, describe, and explain the qualities or features of social influence that can be explained, measured or described through a quantitative approach. While the type used in this research is descriptive. Descriptive method is a research method that describes the characteristics of the population or phenomenon being studied. So that this one research method is the main focus is to explain the object of research. So that answers what events or what phenomena occur. The results of this study indicate that as referred to in Article 33 Paragraph (1) of Law no. 23 of 2014, must comply with 2 (two) requirements, namely basic requirements (regional and regional capacity) and administrative requirements. There are several requirements that have not been met in Mandau District such as the Mandau sub-district has not yet fulfilled the area coverage, the economic aspect where the Bengkalis district still really needs the Mandau sub-district to support local government programs to build other sub-districts in Bengkalis district, From socio-cultural aspects such as identity There are fears of the disappearance of Malayism and the spread of certain religions, the administration of the sub-district administration carried out in Mandau sub-district has not gone as expected, and there is no approval from the provincial DPRD and the governor from the provincial area. As well as there are several reasons why the division of Mandau District has not been realized such as being constrained by the moratorium, Different Inter-Elite Visions¸ and weak political elite relations. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has made the village a fulcrum in enhancing national development through the third nawa cita, namely developing Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages, one of whose agendas is to oversee the implementation of Law no. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. The lack of human resource capacity in the village has resulted in an insignificant increase in the development and empowerment of village communities, therefore as a reference, the Government issued a policy in the form of Permendesa PDTT No. 18 of 2019 concerning general guidelines for assisting village communities. To carry out village community assistance, the government is assisted by professional assistants who have qualifications and competence in the field of assistance and empowerment of village communities. This study aims to analyze the role of professional assistants in Rambah sub-district, Rokan Hulu district, and to analyze what are the obstacles faced by professional assistants in carrying out their role. This study uses a qualitative method Participatory Rural Apricial (PRA) by using an inductive mindset that produces descriptive data. Data collection techniques were carried out in triangulation, namely a combination of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that The Role of Professional Assistants in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency was good, however, there were still some obstacles that occurred such as a lack of quality human resources, local village assistants who were not optimal in carrying out their roles, professional assistants who did not have advice and infrastructure, and limited budget. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the effect of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at Grand Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were 63 people who were all employees of the general department who had their respective duties from HRD. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an influence between transormational leadership and work motivation on employee performance. The data collected in this study used two measuring instruments given to the subject, namely the linkert scale. The Transformational Leadership Style Scale is based on the theory of Bass in Kurniawan, (2011) and the Work Motivation scale is the Maslow scale (Robbins and Timothy, 2008) and the employee performance scale is the Megginson scale (Bangun, 2012), This study uses a simple liner regrelation analysis technique, which is a linear relationship between one independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). Based on the results of the research, it shows that the hypothesis which states that there is transformational leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at the Grand Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru is acceptable.This means that transformational leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance ( Y) This means that the better transormational leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at the Grand Zuri hotel, Pekanbaru. This is evidenced by the results of research. So the value of Ftable at dfl = 2 and df2 = 61 is 2.84.This means that Fcount (11.344)> Ftable (2.84) with a significant 0.00

ABSTRACT Palm oil is a commodity that plays an important role in national income and Indonesia's sustainable development. However, amid the popularity of palm oil, various trade barriers emerged, especially from the European Union. Through the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) policy, Palm Oil Resolution and Anti-Dumping Policy aimed at Indonesian CPO products. For the Indonesian government, this policy is used as a tool to protect the vegetable oil market in the European Union by inhibiting and gradually stopping the use of CPO. The theory used in this study is from the perspective of liberalism and the theory of international trade, where countries trade with the aim of achieving production economies of scale. The research method uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis, with data collection techniques namely secondary data. Through interview research and library research (Library Research). The results of this study indicate that the Indonesian Government's response in dealing with these obstacles is to file a lawsuit through the WTO, carry out oil palm diplomacy and increase commitment to sustainability through ISPO certificates. ABSTRACT In this modern days, Internet has melted into a part of society. The significant role of internet in the business world helped change the marketing concept done by companies. The Toyota brand as a famous Japanese automotive brand, act as a sponsor for the production of “Mengakhiri Cinta Dalam 3 Episode” web series by Cerita Films. The promotion for a new variant of Yaris manufactured by Toyota called New Yaris, is the expected outcome why Web Series is chosen as the media of promotion. Yaris is universally known as a nimbler version of vehicle manufactured by Toyota, portrayed as a vehicle owned by youngsters lived in the urban area. The slender design is created with the intention to adapt into the cramped and full-of-traffic urban area. The purpose of this research is to determine the symbol, index, and sign used as representation of Toyota’s brand identity shown in “Mengakhiri Cinta dalam 3 Episode” webseries. This study uses a qualitative research method of literature by analyzing web series and comparing with journals or other similar research. Data collection techniques consist of observation and literature study. While the data analysis technique used semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce. The results of this study show that Toyota in Brand as Product is represented by a sign or representation based on what is shown directly in this web series which has 4 episodes (audio and visual captured by the audience's five senses), where this film uses a lot of long shots and close ups. ; Brand as Organization is represented by organizational attributes, indicated by displaying the superior features of the Toyota New Yaris; Brand as is represented by the object through the New Yaris car used by Satrio which is bright yellow and several other Toyota cars which are the black or silver background; Brand as Symbol is represented by the interpreter through the characters that are brought and built in Satrio and Ayu, representing the work of urban youth and their characters who want to be fast and comfortable. ABSTRACT The super volcanic eruption of the Toba Volcano 74,000 years ago had a significant impact on the world. The enormity of the eruption, made the geographical conditions of the Toba Volcano area turn into a large caldera and currently known as the Toba Caldera. Toba Caldera has a unique geological, biological and cultural diversity so that this area has the potential to become a tourism area. The Indonesian government has made the Toba Caldera as one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) so that the Geopark concept is the most strategic choice to preserve and utilize the Toba Caldera area. The Geopark concept put forward is triggered by the UNESCO Global Geopark (UGGp) program which is able to bring Geopark areas to countries in the world to experience a rapid increase in the number of tourist visits. Recognizing this phenomenon, the Indonesian government uses public diplomacy as an effort to obtain global Geopark certification from UNESCO. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques sourced from interviews, several books, journals, research documents, articles, internet pages and other relevant sources. This study also uses the perspective of Neoliberalism with the theory of Diplomacy which puts forward the concept of Public Diplomacy. The results of this study indicate that Indonesian public diplomacy through news management, strategic communication, and relationship building has an important role in making the Toba Caldera a UNESCO Global Geopark. Through public diplomacy, the government is able to fulfill the substantial prerequisites from UNESCO, namely community empowerment in preserving geological heritage and utilizing it in the tourism sector. In addition, Indonesia is also able to communicate the new image of the Toba Caldera as 5 Super Caldera Toba Geoparks (Supervolcano, Super Big Volcanic Lake, Super Beautiful Landscape, Super Unique Cultural Heritage, and Super Unique Biodiversity) to the world community.
