Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the policies for placing lokal workers in the oil and gas sector in Bengkalis Regency in 2019. The theory used in this research is 1. Content of Policy includes the following interest affected, type of benefits, extent of change envision, site of decision making, program implementer, resources committed. 2. Context of Policy includes the following power, interest and strategy of actor involved, institution and regisme characteristic, compliance and responsivenes. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at the Bengkalis District Manpower and Transmigration Office. The results of the study show that the policy for placing local workers in Bengkalis Regency has not beend maximized. This can be seen from the local workers placed in oil and gas sector companies that have not reached 50% as mandated by Bengkalis Regency Regional Regulation number 04 of 2004. Supervision carried out by the Bengkalis Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office for oil and gas sector companies has also not been maximized due to a shortage of human resources, as well as the absence of strict sanctions given by the Bengkalis Regency Manpower and Transmigrasi Service.

Abstract

ABSTRAK The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on purchasing decisions of Beat motorbikes at CV.Zam-Zam Honda Motor Lubuk Jambi Dealers. This research uses quantitative analysis method. The sample in this study were consumers who bought Beat motorbikes at CV.Zam-Zam Honda Motor Lubuk Jambi dealers as many as 99 respondents. With data sources from primary data and secondary data. The analysis tool used in this research is SPSS version 23. The results of the research that has been done show that product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Beat motorbikes at CV. Zam-Zam Honda Motor Lubuk Jambi Dealers, service quality has a significant effect on the decision to purchase Beat motorbikes at CV. Zam-Zam Honda Motor Lubuk Jambi Dealers, and product quality and service quality have a significant effect on the decision to purchase Beat motorbikes at CV. Zam-Zam Honda Motor Lubuk Jambi Dealers. Abstract

ASEAN is the organization that oversees the countries in the Southeast Asian region. ASEAN plays an important role in promoting regional peace and stability, one of the issues that threatens the security stability of countries in the Southeast Asian region, namely terrorism. The purpose of this study is to find out how ASEAN views the threat of terrorism in Southeast Asia with the establishment of the ASEAN Convention on Counter Terrorism (ACCT). The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data sourced from books, journals and other literature. The results of the study showed that ASEAN views terrorism as a real threat to the regional security of Southeast Asia and makes the issue of terrorism a security agenda that must be eradicated so that regional security stability is well maintained, therefore ASEAN seeks to tackle terrorism by forming the ASEAN Convention on Counter Terrorism (ACCT). Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research conducted at PT United Tractors Tbk Pekanbaru is to evaluate financial performance from 2017 to 2021 using the du pont system analysis method which calculates the activity ratio and profitability ratio. The secondary data used in this study were taken from the financial statements of PT United Tractors Tbk Pekanbaru from 2017 to 2021. The data collection technique used is the documentation method. The indicators in this study are the ratio of total asset turnover (TATO), net profit margin (NPM), return on investment (ROI), and return on equity (ROE). The results of the study explain that the financial performance of PT United Tractors Tbk Pekanbaru is said to be less good because the profitability ratio consisting of net profit margin, return on investment, and return on equity has not been able to meet the applicable measurement standards during the five-year period, only the activity ratio, namely total asset turnover, which reaches the measurement requirements but still fluctuates. This is due to the low net profit generated by the company and the unstable sales and total assets of the company. Keywords: Du Pont System, Financial Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT The abrasion disaster in Rangsang Pesisir District has threatened and brought disaster detrimental impact on society, losses in the form of assets, places of worship and community income. in 2020 the length of abrasion reached 44.8 Km abrasion disaster management continues to be carried out but is still not optimal due to several factors, namely the government's slow response, none maintenance of mangrove forests, lack of legal umbrella, development tackling is uneven, coping policies are experiencing changes to create dynamics. The aim of this research is to find out the actors, the interests of the actors, the interactions of the actors and their backgrounds social actors in the dynamics of abrasion disaster management policy issues in Rangsang Pesisir District, Meranti Islands Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research using the method of collecting data through interview, observation and documentation. The type of data used is data primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is interactive Miles and Huberman which consists of 3 namely data collection, data reduction, and draw a conclusion. The results of this study are the actors involved in abrasion disaster management includes BPBD, Rangsang Pesisir Sub-District, Villages in Rangsang Pesisir District, Communities and NGOs, interaction of actors in handling of abrasion goes well this is because it has similarities of the elements of the social base of the actors. Abstract

Early marriage in Indonesia is increasing from year to year. This problem has an impact on the quality of children, family, family harmony and divorce. This is also the reason why children drop out of school. In addition, in Pekanbaru City, early marriage is also rife, even though Law No. 16 of 2019 has been enacted, that the minimum age limit for marriage for both men and women is 19 years. It was from this background that this research was conducted. The purpose of writing a thesis is to find out what is behind the occurrence of early marriage in Pekanbaru City. The theory put forward by Hunger and Wheleen (2003:11) is Environmental Observation, Strategy Formulation, Strategy Implementation, Evaluation and Control. This study used the method documentation, data analysis and interviews. Secondary data obtained from related government agencies, books, journals or data from the internet which contains related theories or research results. The results of this study explain that the strategy of the Pekanbaru City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service has not been successful because the early marriages that occur are motivated by the community environment and family environment. The lack of control of the surrounding community has resulted in changing norms and the emergence of a free culture as well as a lack of cooperation between the Pekanbaru City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service and PATBM. Abstract

The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia has had a very good impact, namely in supporting state revenues. One form of the rapid development of tourism is the many tourist attractions and the construction of many star hotels. A hotel that is considered good is seen with good service too, because a service is also a benchmark for the size of complaints or guest complaints, especially the Banquet Section of The Zuri Hotel Dumai. The thing that must be done by the hotel The Zuri Hotel Dumai is to handle guest complaints. Handling guest complaints also requires several stages, including listening carefully, having empathy, apologizing and finally following up on problems and solving problems without harming anyone so that guests feel satisfied with their service. The purpose of this study was also to find out how to handle guest complaints, especially at the Banquet Section of The Zuri Hotel Dumai by using a qualitative descriptive research method to analyze problems based on the results of interviews, observation and documentation. This research was obtained from the results of interviews with the author to the HRD, Banquet Operational Manager, Banquet Service Supervisor. And the results of the research were carried out according to procedures, and the handling of guest complaints focused on the complaints given by these guests. Guest complaints occur at any time and require special attention from the Management of The Zuri Hotel Dumai. Keywords: The Handling of Guest Complaints

Abstract

ABSTRACT Yemen is having a humanitarian crisis due to the conflict caused by Houthi. This humanitarian crisis has caused many Yemeni people to flee to other countries to seek protection. In 2017, South Korea opened direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jeju Island. Yemeni refugees who stayed in Malaysia decided to seek protection to Jeju Island because Malaysia has not ratified the 1951 Convention on Status of Refugees. Due to the reason, Yemeni refugees could not stay for long in Malaysia and had to flee to other countries. Meanwhile, South Korea has ratified 1951 Convention on Status of Refugees and can provide protection to refugees. There are 561 Yemeni refugees who entered Jeju Island to seek protection. This research found that the conditions of Yemeni people really need help from other countries that have ratified refugee agreement to help them. However, South Korea was not ready to handle Yemeni Refugees who came in 2018 which caused problems to refugees. Keywords : Jeju Island, Yemeni Refugees, 1951 Convention on Status of Refugees

Abstract

ABSTRACT The SIPINTAR PEDULI public service innovation is a new idea that was issued to assist people with disabilities in providing services in obtaining population or identity documents. The problem with this research is the inability of people with disabilities to attend the Population and Civil Registration Service to record and record e-KTP, therefore the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service issued innovations that will make it easier for people with disabilities to get e-KTP. This study uses a qualitative approach research method and the type of research is descriptive. The research location was carried out at the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Office, using data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the innovation of the SIPINTAR PEDULI service carried out by the Department of Population and Civil Registration in 2021-2022 has progressed, this can be seen from the appreciation of the community and also assistance from local institutions that assist the Office of Population and Civil Registration in carrying out these innovations. The Department of Population and Civil Registration has demonstrated its existence in providing services, adequate facilities and infrastructure to support the service process. The service guarantee provided is so that all people with disabilities can have e-KTP and also the needs of people with disabilities can be met. Keywords: Innovation, e-KTP, People with Disabilities

Abstract

ASEAN stated that terrorism was very dangerous. Terrorist attacks kill innocent people, damage infrastructure, destroy the environment, and hinder ASEAN from achieving its goals. In 2016-2021, ASEAN stated that the threat of terrorism was growing, such as cooperation between regional groups and ISIS groups, the return of foreign fighters, and the emergence of single terrorists. The author examines the role of ASEAN in dealing with terrorism in the Southeast Asian region in 2016-2021. In this research, the writer used descriptive qualitative method. The author used literature and interviews in collecting primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through official ASEAN website sources, and interviews with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while secondary data was obtained from journal articles, the internet, books, etc. which were then processed according to the topic of discussion. This study usedthe perspective of Pluralism and the theory of the Role of International Organizations. The results of the study show that ASEAN plays a dominant role as an arena in dealing with terrorism, namely facilitating discussion and cooperation through the ASEAN Defense Minister's Meeting (ADMM), ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) mechanisms to produce documents that serve as guidelines in tackling terrorism in the Southeast Asian region. ASEAN also cooperates with Russia and Australia in dealing with terrorism. The impact of ASEAN's role, namely terrorism attacks in the Southeast Asian Region, has decreased.
