Abstract

The study held in PT. Surya Mandiri Pratama Pekanbaru. The aim is to analyze the influence of work-related discipline and organizational commitment to employee’s productivity. Population are all employee’s, consist of 85 employees that selected by using cencus method. Variables are work-related discipline and organizational commitment as independents and productivity as depenedent. Data analyzed by using descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS 17 for windows. The study reveals that both work-related discipline and organizational commitment significantly influence employees’ productivity either partially or simultaneously. Work-related discipline has the stronger effect to employees’ productivity rather than organizational commitment. It is recommended to management in order to enhance discipline program and the organizational commitment, particularly, rules socialization, consistant reward and punishment implementation, individual value and organization harmonization.Keywords: Work-related Discipline, Organizational, Commitment, and Productivity

Abstract

Competitive conditions are increasingly growing rapidly fueled traders and manufacturers are competing to win the competition by trying to grab a large market share. To cope with the competition, companies take a variety of ways and strategies to deliver their products fast, precise, accurate, cost-effective and satisfying to consumers, the products are diverse with a wide variety of brands has started being introduced by various companies. PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur has issued many new products and implement the line extension strategy by releasing products that are different from the products that have been issued previously. As from Pop Mie Goreng Pedas to Pop Mie Baso. This study aims to determine how much the level of sensitivity and direction household consumer response to the extension line (line extension) on the Cup Noodle brand Pop Mie in Pekanbaru Pop 100 respondents housewife. The sampling technique used in this research is area sampling. This research is a descriptive analysis,where it can describe about phenomenon of company PT. Indofood successful prosperous conducting line extension. The results showed that consumers had a response that is sensitive to the line extension of Pop Mie Goreng Pedas to Pop Mie Baso is equal to 1.26. While the direction is a positive response, which means the consumer or the respondent to behave in accordance with the desired company.Keywords : Line Extention, Level Sensitivity, and Direction Response

Abstract

This study was conducted based on PT Daya Guna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir. This study aims to determine the effect simultaneously and partially Communications and Organizational Effectiveness Division of Labor Against Employees PT DayaGuna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir. Consists of three variables: the dependent variable and two independent variables. This study use regression and The study was conducted with a sample of 64 people. Research using census techniques by giving questionnaires to the respondents. In terms of data analysis, using qualitative and quantitative methods using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 20.0. The leadership and management of PT Daya Guna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir in order to increase the variable and Organizational Communication Division of Labour is to create a coordinated work, provide workload in accordance with the capacity and skills of employees, willing to go straight spaciousness to directemployees directly in order to create communication organization and division of labor and increase the effectiveness of work.Keywords: Organizational Communication, Division of Labor, and Employment Effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of energy security based on awareness energy is done in the Palm Kernel Oil Plant Tandun PT. PTPN V. By using Slovin formula, the number of samples taken in the amount of 66 respondents who are all employees of the factory. Data was taked by giving them the questionaires and descriptive analysis methods was chosen for data analiysis by SPSS version 17.0. These results indicate that the energy security is based on energy awareness is quite awareness and saving on energy productivity at the Palm Kernel Oil Plant Tandun PT. PTPN V. From the research result company should further improve biogas and minimize diesel consumption.Keywords: energy security, energy awareness, and productivity energy.

Abstract

This research held in PLN Pekanbaru Area. This research held in order to analyze the effect of reward, organizational culture and organizational structure to organizational effectiveness. Population are all employees, consist of 62 people. Considering the number limitation so sampling method used is census that covers all employee as the respondents.Variables used are reward, organizational culture and organizational structure as independent and organizational effectiveness as dependent. Data analyzed by using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 19 for windows.Result of this study shows that reward, organizational culture and organizational structure significantly effect on organizational effectiveness. Partially, reward and organizational structure shows positive and significant effect on organizational effectiveness, while organizational culture gives no significant effect.It is recommended to company to adjust the normative incentives with the inflation growth and provide additional tools for each division. The culture of effective and efficient process and enhance the public service motivation and accountability need to be overcome. It is also recommended to place the right man in the position and expand the human resource division.Keywords: Reward, Organizational Culture, Structure, and Effectiveness

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of Emotional Intelligence, Working Facilities and Human Resources Development of the Work Productivity with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas Pekanbaru. In this study there were five variable, Emotional Intelligence (X1), Work Facilities (X2), Human Resources Development (X3), job satisfaction (Y1), and Work Productivity (Y2). Population of this study were all employees of PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas Pekanbaru with a sample of 122 respondents were selected using census method. Collecting data in this study is done by giving questionnaires to the respondents. In terms of data analysis, this study using Path Analysis with SPSS version 21. The results of this study showed that the variables Emotional Intelligence, Working Facilities and Human Resources Development directly influence job satisfaction then Emotional Intelligence and Human Resource Development influence directly to the Work Productivity, while variable Work Facilities not directly affect Work Productivity and Job Satisfaction also affects the Work Productivity. Then the variable job satisfaction mediates the relationship variables Emotional Intelligence, Working Facilities and Human Resources Development of the Work Productivity.Keyword : Emotional Intelligence, Working Facilities, Human Resources Development, Job Satisfaction, and Work Productivity

Abstract

Queuing problem is a problem that is always found, almost all activities undertaken related to the issue queue. So was what happened in the workshop PT. Global Jaya Perkasa Pekanbaru, always be a queue of customers who want to serve. This study was conducted to determine the optimalization of queuing system, the number of customers in the queue, the number of customers in the system, the time spent in the queue of customers, the time spent in the system customers, and queuing system utilization in the workshop PT. Global Jaya Perkasa Pekanbaru. Here queuing system that applies a multi –channel model of single phase (M/M/S). Where there is a path queue of customers to be served by two or more service facilities (mechanical). With the queue discipline is Fisrt Come Firts Serve (FCFS). From the research, that customers come average as many 122 people, while the number of mechanical who serve an average of 4 people. From this state gained a number of customers waiting in queue is 7 people with an average waiting time in the queue is 24 minutes. The number of customers waiting in the system as many as 11 people with an average waiting time for 36 minutes, and the queuing system utilization by 0,01%. While the mechanics are available by 5 people, only available mechanics do not operate simultaneously.Keywords : queuing system, multi channel single phase (M/M/S), operations management, and first come first serve (FCFS).

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu, this study aimed to determine the effect of variables Health and Safety at Work and Motivation simultaneously and partially on the productivity of employees of PT. PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu. The sampling method using census method with a total sample of 64 people. Data collection methods used were interviews directly to parties - parties involved with the issues that are being discussed and gave questionnaires to employees in accordance with the research conducted. Data were analyzed using Method Qualitative and Quantitative Methods that use a formula that Descriptive Statistics, Data Quality Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Testing Hypotheses, with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The results showed that simultaneous Occupational Safety and Health Program of Work and Work Motivation significant effect on the productivity of employees working at PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu, partially variable Occupational Safety and Health Program of work and motivation significant effect on the productivity of employees of PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu. regression coefficient is positive (+) indicates a unidirectional relationship, in other words the Occupational Safety and Health Program crimes and motivation will increase the productivity of employees working at PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu. Correlation or relationship between the Occupational Safety and Health Program of work and work motivation denganProduktivitas Employees working at PT. Inecda Indragiri Hulu is strongly at (r = 0.818) and the coefficient of determination or the number of R-square is equal to 0.669.Keywords: Health, Safety, Work, Motivation, and Productivity

Abstract

These results indicatethat the Energy Security based on Reliability Energy is quite reliable on Energy Productivity at the Palm Kernel Oil Mill PT. PTPN V Tandun, Rokan Hulu. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect Influence of supervision, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee discipline on PT. Adei Plantation& Industry Kebun Mandau Selatan.The population in this study 49 people. While the sampling technique with cluster sampling method is to take a census of all employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method with SPSS 18. Based on the survey results revealed that the supervisory, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction significant effect partially and simultaneously to discipline employees of PT.
