Abstract

The research was conducted at Indrapura Hotel Pekanbaru in Pekanbaru No.86 at Soetomo street road that aims to determine how Effect of compensation and working environment either simultaneously or partially on job spirit employee at Indrapura Hotel Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all full-time employees Indrapura Hotel Pekanbaru. Sampling was done by making the overall population of respondents ie 59 people. Source data from the primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study was through questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative method using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 19.00. Simultaneous regression test (F test) showed that the independent variables simultaneously compensation and working environment has a significant influence on job spirit employees. The magnitude of the effect that the coefficient of determination (R2) by the two variables simultaneously on the dependent variable while the remaining 79.3% 20.7% influenced by other variables not examined. Partial regression results (t test) showed that the dependent variable has an job spirit employees a significant effect on each of the independent variables studied were compensation and working environment.Keywords: Compensation, Working Environment, and Job Spirit Employee.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any effect of good corporate governance index and Financial Distress to company value with corporate performance as an intervening variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2009-2012.The population in this study was 143 Manufacturing companies listed on the BEI. The sample used in this study were 35 companies selected by purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing performed in this study by using statistical methods, namely; normality test, linear test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the hypothesis testing and data analysis has been conducted in this study can be concluded about the effect of corporate governance indices and Financial Distress on Company Value with the performance of the company as an intervening variable. Based on the results of this study indicate that the implementation of the GCG index has no significant effect directly to company performance. financial distress significantly influence directly to company performance, GCG index does not significantly influence directly to company value, financial distress does not significantly influence directly to the company value, the company performance has a significant effect directly to company value. This means that the company performance is only able to moderate the relationship between financial distress on the comapany value.Keywords: Good Corporate Governance index (GCG index), Financial Distress, Company Performance and Value Company

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any effect of Managerial Ownership Structure and Growth Opportunity for Financial Performance Company with capital structure as an intervening variable in the manufacturing industry sector and consumption of goods listed on the BEI 2009-2012.The population in this study were 26 companies Manufacturing Industry sector and consumption goods listed on the BEI. Hypothesis testing conducted in this research is by using statistical methods, namely; normality test, linear and coefficient of determination. Based on the hypothesis testing and data analysis has been carried out in this study can be concluded regarding the influence of Managerial Ownership Structure and Growth Opportunity for Financial Performance Company with capital structure as an intervening variable.Based on the results of this study indicate that the Managerial Ownership Structure not significant effect directly on capital structure, Growth Opportunity significantly influence directly on Capital Structure, Ownership Structure Managerial no significant effect directly on the Financial Performance of the Company, Growth Opportunity no significant effect directly on the Company's Financial Performance. Capital Structure significant effect on the Company's financial performance directly, but the capital structure are not able to moderate the relationship between Managerial Ownership Structure and Corporate Financial Performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the direct and indirect effect of growth opportunity and the tax shield that is mediated by the capital structure of the company's performance in the manufacturing sector of the consumer goods industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2009-2012 period.The population in this study were 38 companies manufacturing consumer goods industry sector, and the sample used in this study were 27 companies with the number N of data as much as 104. The sample data collection technique is based on purposive sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis.Based on the results of this study indicate that growth opportunity has a significant negative effect directly on the performance of the company, the tax shield has a significant influence directly on the performance of the company, capital structure has a significant negative effect directly on the performance of the company, growth opportunity does not have a significant effect on performance companies through direct capital structure and tax shield does not have a significant effect on the performance of the company through direct capital structure. This means that capital structure is not able to mediate the relationship between growth opportunity and the tax shield on the performance of the company.Keywords: Growth Opportunities, Tax Shield, Capital Structure and Company Performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of variables of brand equity (brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality of the brand, and brand loyalty) that influence purchasing decisions Tupperware brand household products in Pekanbaru and to know which is the most dominant factor affecting the purchase decision. As for the population in this study are all consumers who ever bought Tupperware brand household products, and samples used in this study amounted to 119 people, and the sampling technique used in this study is the technique Sampling Area. methods of analysis used in this study using multiple linear regression models with SPSS version 17. Based on the results of the research that has been done so that the value of R2 by 57%. This means that 57% of household purchasing decisions brand Tupperware products in Pekanbaru influenced by brand equity (brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality of the brand, and brand loyalty) while the remaining 43% are influenced by other factors that are not explained and are not included in the study Here you are. and subsequently through a simultaneous regression coefficient test independent variables jointly significant effect on the independent variable .. Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer attitudes on product attribute: packaging, colors, product quality, and product features and to determine whether there are differences in consumer attitudes toward in choosing branded and non branded cooking oil in Pekanbaru. The population in the study are (Household) the users branded and non branded cooking oil in Pekanbaru. The number of samples are 100 respondents by using Slovin formula and Quota sampling technique. The data analyzed by using multi attitude attribute model Fishbein and the Mann-Whitney U-test. From the results of the testing that has been done on the respondents have a positive attitude on product attribute: packaging, colors, product quality, and product features of branded and non branded cooking oil, and Mann-Whitney U-test showed that there are differences in consumer attitude on product attribute of branded and non branded cooking oil in Pekanbaru.Keywords: Product Features, Packaging, Color, QualityProducts, andConsumer Attitudes

Abstract

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Riau Province, located in the Sudirman Complex Lt.4 Pekanbaru Riau Governor's Office. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of education and training on the performance of employees at the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Riau Province, to analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance in the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Riau province and to analyze the influence of education and training and motivation on employee performance the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprise Riau Province. To achieve these objectives the research carried out by using a sample of 100 people, using Census. Methods of data analysis using simultaneous test and partial test (multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS Windows version 17). The results of this study suggest that the education and training have an effect on the performance of employees at the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprise Riau Province. On the motivation variables affect the performance of employees at the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprise Riau Province. While simultaneously known that education and training, motivation affects the performance of employees at the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprise Riau Province. Recommendations can be the author to ask is should service Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Riau Province regard education as well as training followed by employees and the department should conduct an evaluation of the restrictions that participants will attend training, because employees menaganggap with the restrictions of participants who wish to attend training tantamount to banning employees to increase knowledge to broaden that can support the employee's performance.Keywords: Education and Training, Motivation and Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational climate variables and school leadership on teacher performance SMA 1 Negeri Pasir Penyu, Air Molek. As for the population in this study were all teachers of SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu, Air Molek which amounted to 56 people and the entire population sampled in this study using census method. The method of analysis used in this study is descriptive quantitative method, partial and simultaneous analysis (multiple linear regression analysis) with SPSS version 16. The results showed that there were significant and positive effect of the variables of leadership and school organizational climate, either simultaneously or partially, on teacher performance SMA 1 Pasir Penyu, Air Molek. Teacher performance SMA 1 Sand Turtle, Air Molek, 51.8% is determined by factors of leadership and school organizational climate, where the largest contribution is given by the variabel of leadership.Keywords: Leadership. school organizational climate and performance

Abstract

The research was conducted in Pekanbaru in order to determine and analyze the segmentation of lifestyle AIO (Activities, Interest and Opinion) multivitamin supplement consumers.In this research conducted by taking the 135 respondents with minimum age of 17 years who live in Pekanbaru and has been using a multivitamin supplement at least one month. In this study using lifestyle variables AIO (Activities, Interest and opinion) and use the method of cluster analysis using SPSS Version 16. Based on the analysis formed three groups: group1, Body Fit (17.03%) with characteristic dominant in social activities, vacation, shopping, recreation intrest and opinion of education. Group2, Keep Fresh (15.56%) has a characteristic an interest of food and challenges of the job. And group3, Need Energy (67.41%) which has the characteristics of the activities to entertain themselves and the club membership has a high valuation, interest in the community, a sense of familiarity and have interest great success and this group also has an opinion to entrepreneurship and consideration of the product is higher than the other groups. The results of this research can help increase sales by making the right marketing strategy and adapted to the characteristics of each group that has been formed.Keywords: Segmentation, Lifestyle AIO, Cluster Analysis
