Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are 1) to analyze personal problems of male and female students, 2) to analyze emotional problems of male and female students, 3) to analyze learning problems, 4) to analyze family problem of male and female students, 5) to analyze social problems of male and female students, 6) to analyze the problems that experienced by male and female students in general, 7) to analyze the category of the students’ problems in general. The mean of collecting data is questioner. The using of this questioner is in order to obtain data regarding the preference of students’ problems based on personal, emotional, learning, family and social aspects. The subject of this research is all of the students of Junior High School Number 1 Kampar Subdistrict class VII and VIII that consist of 0f 200 students. Sampling is determined by applying total sampling, that all of the population members become the samples. The result shows that male students have more personal problems than female students do, the problem is “ feel being superiors in class “, 2) Male students experienced emotional problems more that female students do, the problem is “ feel nothing problem if their teachers get angry “, 3) Female students experienced learning problems more that male students do, the problem is “ feel afraid of parents’ anger if the get low achievements”, 4) Male students have more family problems than female students do, the problem is “Discussing the problems of children and parents on a certain days”, 5) Male students have more social problem than female students, the problem is “ other students look down upon them “, 6) The general problems experienced by male and female students are personal, emotional and learning problems, 7) In general, the problem that experienced by students is in few category.Keywords: students’ problems

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) to get the description about personal problem experienced male and female students 2) to get the description about emotional problems experienced by male and female students, 3) to get the information about learning problems experienced by male and female students, 4) to get the information about family problems experienced by male and female students, 5) to get the information about social problem experienced by male and female students, 6) to get the descriptions about the problems of male and female students in some aspects such as personal, emotional learning, family and social, 7) to get the description about the problems experienced by male and female students in general. The population of this research is all of the students in class IV and V of School in Rimbo Jaya, they are Elementary School Number 009 Teratak that consists of 37 students and Elementary School Number Number 001 Teratak that consist of 121 students, and Elementary School Number 004 Pulau Payung that consists of 62 students. So, the total population in this research is 220 students of class IV and V Elementary Schools in Rimbo Jaya Sub District Academic Year 2015/2016. The technique of collecting data is total sampling that means all of the population are the members of the sample. The results shows that 1) the personal problems experienced by male students is 58 (51%) and female students is 50 (47%) included in middle category, 2) the personal problems experienced by male students is 49 (43%) included in few category and female students is 60 (56%) included in middle category, (3) the learning problems experienced by male students is 71 (63%) included in middle category and female students is 61 (57%) included in middle category, 4) the family problems experienced by male students is 75 (66%) included in few category and female students is 76 (71%) included in few category, 5) the social problems experienced by male students is 75 (66%) in few category and female students is 64 (60%) included in few category, 6) the problems that experienced by male and female students are in several aspects such as personal aspect, emotional aspect, learning aspect, family aspect and social aspect experienced by male and female students is social problem is 151 (69%) in few category, 7) In general, the problem that experienced by male and female students included in many category is learning problems especially in learning achievement, that are 37 students (17%).Keywords: Problems

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) to get the description about personal problem experienced male and female students 2) to get the description about emotional problems experienced by male and female students, 3) to get the information about learning problems experienced by male and female students, 4) to get the information about family problems experienced by male and female students, 5) to get the information about social problem experienced by male and female students, 6) to get the descriptions about the problems of male and female students in some aspects such as personal, emotional learning, family and social, 7) to get the description about the problems experienced by male and female students in general. The mean of collecting data is questioner. The subject of this research is the students of class X and XI that consists of 240 students. The result shows that the problems that experienced by male and female students are different, the research finding as stated in table 5 shows that male students who have family problem are 93,2% and female students also have the same problem but it is higher than male students’ problem, that is 98% in Senior Vocational School Number 5 Pekanbaru. It s known that the students class XI of Senior Vocational School Number 5 Pekanbaru have family problems on the average. The impact of the family problem is in few category.Keywords: Problems

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) to get the information about the problem of male and female students, 2) to get the information about the emotional conditions of male and female students, 3) to get the information about learning problem of male and female students, 4) to get the information family problems of male and female students, 5) to get the information about social problems of male and female students, 6) to get the information about the problems experienced by male and female students in general, 7) to obtain categories of the problems that experienced by students in general. The data collection technique used questioners related to some students’ problems such as emotional problems, learning problems, family problems, and social problems that created by the writer based on the guidelines with the alternative yes or no answer. The subject of this research is the students of class VII, VIII, IX that taken from saturated sampling technique. The result shows that: 1) The personal problems faced by male students are 55 percents, while female students are 75 percents, 2) The emotional problems faced by male students are 65% and male students are 82 percents, 3) the learning problems face by male students are 57% and female students are 47 percents, 4) the family problems faced by male students are 46 percents while female students are 32 percents, 6) the general problems faced by students are personal, emotional and learning problem. The female students also have the same problems. In general, the description of the problems that faced by male and female students is in few category.Keywords: personal, emotional, learning, family, social

Abstract

Abstract: The research is aimed at 1) finding out personal problems of male and female students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 2) finding out emotional problems of male and female students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 3) finding out learning problems of male and female students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 4) analising familial problems of male and female students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 5) analising social problems of male and female students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 6) analising the general description of male and female students’ problems of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District; 7) analising the category of male and female students' problems in general at Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District . The data about problems faced by students were taken by using questionnaire. The population of the research were the entire students of Naumbai State Islamic Junior High School of Kampar Sub District from 7th and 9th grade which are amounted 200 persons. The sampling technique is the total sampling namely the entire members of the population become samples. The research results showed that: 1) the most dominant personal problems faced by male and female students were categorized as moderate; 2) the most dominant emotional problems faced by male and female students were categorized as moderate; 3) the most dominant learning problems faced by male and female students were categorized as low; 4) the most dominant familial problems faced by male and female students were categorized as low; 5) the most dominant social problems faced by male and female students were categorized as low; 6) as a general description, male and female students generally experienced more personal and social problems; 7) the problems of personal, emotional, learning, familial, and social aspects experienced by male and female students are generally categorized ‘low’.Keywords: Problems

Abstract

Abstract: The study is aimed at: 1) finding out problems experienced by the male students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects; 2) finding out problems experienced by the female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects; 3) finding out problems experienced by the male and female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District dealing with personality, emotional, learning, familial and social aspects. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The subjects of the research are 200 students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District in 2015. The sampling technique is the total one. It means that the entire population were taken as sample, therefore there are 200 samples in the research. The research results showed that the problems experienced by the male and female students of Teknologi Vocational High School of Siak Hulu Sub District are generally categorized moderate that is amounted to 56%. Then, 44% of them are categorized low and 0% is high. The problem factors of male and female students can be generally seen from the results of students’ answers to the questionnaire of which their highest score are about item no.6 namely most of them felt that they are the best in the class.Keywords: problems

Abstract

The subject of this research is all of the students of Junior High School Number 1 Kampar Koto Kampar class VII, VIII and IX that consist of 0f 210 students. Sampling is determined by applying total sampling, that all of the population members are the samples. The result shows that 53 male students (58%) and 52 female students (44%) experienced personal problems especially for self confident, they are included in the middle category, 2) 43 male students (58%) and 63 female students (53%) female students experienced emotional problem especially for sadness, they are included in the middle category, 3) 49 (53%) male students experienced learning problem especially about learning motivation and 63 (53%) female students experienced learning problem especially about learning achievement both of them included in middle category, 4) 66 (72%) male students and 81 (69)% female students experienced family problem especially about the relationship with their parents, they are included in the few category, 5) 66 (72%) male students experienced social problem related to students and teachers relationship and 78 (70%) female students experienced the same problem but related to relationship with friends at the same age, both of them included in few category, 6) The problems of personal, emotional, learning, family and social aspects experienced by male and female students is the family aspect especially in learning motivation, it is included in the middle category. 7) the problem experienced by male and female students that included in the many category is the emotional problem (15%), especially about the sadness.Keywords: Students’ problems

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know the decrease of students' misconceptions by applying the contextual approach in X grade of SMAN 1 Kateman. This research was conducted from September to December 2015 with the research subject X1 class as the experimental class consist of 36 students and X2 class as the control class consist of 36 students. The type of the research was quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The instrument of data collection used in this study was the diagnostic tests, beginning and end misconceptions which consists of 16 objective questions. Based on the analysis of data of control class, the percentage of students who have misconceptions before learning was 69,04% and after learning by using conventional methods was 32,22%. In the experimental class, the percentage of students who have misconceptions before learning was 68,36% and after learning by using the contextual approach was 14.21%. A decrease in the percentage of students who have misconceptions on the control class was 36,82% and the experimental class was 54,15%. It can be concluded that the contextual approach can decrease students' misconceptions in the subject matter of straight motion in X grade of SMAN 1 Kateman.Key Words: contextual approach, misconceptions, straight motion.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know enhancement on critical thinking skillssecondary grades students SMA N 9 Pekanbaru through application guideddiscovery learning model in learning physics and to know the difference learningoutcomes between secondary grades students that teached by conventional learningmodel with secondary grades students that teached by guided discovery learningmodel on spring force matter. This research conducted on SMA N 9 Pekanbaru fromJuly to December 2015. This type of research is quasi experimental design withNonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique of this research usedsimple random sampling technic by taking two classes at random from population.The Samples is sciences two as experiment class and sciences four as control class.The number of students on experiment class is 29 childrens which consist of 10 boysand 19 girls.While the number of students on the control class of 30 people consist of12 boys and 18 girls.Multiple choices questions used for collect data as techniquetest. Based on analyze of mean percentage posttest show that mean percentageexperiment class with 71,67 % percentages is different than control class with59,52 % percentages. Based on analyze with t-test, show that thitung > ttabel then Horejected and Ha accepted with a significance level 5 %. Its show that there aredifference learning outcomes between experiment class and control class.Keywords: critical thinking skills, guided discovery learning, conventional learning,spring forces.
