Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to determine the effect of Generate Argument Instruction model toward student argumentation skills on optical material. Quasy experiment was use as study model by using intact group comparison. The population in this study were students grade VIII of SMPN 20 Pekanbaru which consisted of seven classes. Two classes whas choosen to be experiment and control class based on normality and homogenity test. The data was analyze by using descriptive and inferential statistic techniques. The result of this study showed there was a sifnificant influence toward students argumentation skill between experiment class that using implementy Generate Argument Instructional Model and control class that using conventional learning. The argumentation skill of experimental class was higher than class control (12,7%). It can be conclude, the generate argument instructional model gave the positive effect toward student’s argumentation skills.Keywords : Generate argument instruction model, argumentation ability, optic

Abstract

Abstrack : The research was done because of the low of learning outcomes on civic PKn of 5th students of SD 29 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the minimum completeness criteria(KKM) from that school is 75. From 37 students who reach KKM was 12 (32,43%) and did not reach the KKM was 25 (67,57) with class avarage was 66,30. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes on PKn of 5th students of SD Negeri 29 Pekanbaru school year 2017/2018 with as many students 37 that consisting of 23 students and 14 schoolgirls with aplication of learning cycle model. Learning cycle is student centered learning model. That the research is done two cycles. After the research of the learning cycle model. The learning results of students in PKn lesson improved from a basic score of 32,43% with an average score of 66,30 to 48,65% with an avarage score of 72,30% in cycle I, and later improved again and becama 86,49% with average score of 81,22 in cycle II. The percentage of the teacher;s activies have improved well wich can be seen from the improvement of the percentage in cycle I that is 65% to 85% in cycle II. The percentage of student’s activies have improved as well from 60% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. Based on the explanation abov, it can be concluded that the learning cycle model can improve model can improve the learning results in PKn lesson of the 5th grade students in SD Negeri 29 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Learning Cycle, Learning Outcomes Pkn

Abstract

Abstract: This research was classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase learning result in mathematics with applied the learning strategy of reciprocal teaching. The subject of this research was student of class VII1 SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 34 students, consist of 9 boys and 25 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria of knowledge increase from basic score to UH-I and UH-II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (47,06%) to the first UH-I (61,76%) to the UH-II (76,47%) thus it can be concluded that the application of reciprocal teaching strategy can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VII1 SMPN 25 in academic years 2017/2018 for the social arithmetic.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Reciprocal Teaching, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : This research is aimed to know the teaching skill of paud teacher in sub district of Kuantan, Kuantan Singingi district. The research used descriptive method. The sample used in this study were 50 teachers. The data collection technique used is the dispersion of questionnaires. Data analysis technique using percentage calculation with formula F / N x 100%. By using SPSS 17 program. Based on data analysis seen in whole aspect of teacher's teaching skill at Kindergarten in Hulu Kuantan Subdistrict, it is obtained 637 score with 51% percentage is in medium category or enough. It means that the teaching skills of PAUD teachers in Kecamatan Hulu Kuantan are quite capable of performing their duties as teachers of Early Childhood Education (PAUD).Keywords: Teaching Skills, Teachers

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of social workers in the development of adolescents (children dealing with the law of the category of children as perpetrators of crime) in social institutions of youth development (Psbr) Rumbai Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were young social worker, first pekso candidate and psychological child protection center. Data collection through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The number of child offenders from January to May 22, 2018 amounted to 20 children with different cases. The interview guide contains 54 questions about the role of social workers in child coaching, with a subfocus of facilitators, brokers, mediators, defenders and patron with each sub-indicator 3-4. The results show that the role of social workers in the development of adolescents in youth social institutions (Psbr) Rumbai Pekanbaru includes: the role of social workers in the guidance of child offenders shows that the role of social workers play an active role in guidance as facilitators, intermediaries, mediators, defenders and patrons. As well as friends and parents both, coaching can also help solve a teenage case and may affect a child's behavior. In the guidance of children obtaining education in the form of vukational training, spiritual guidance, physical guidance, social and psychosocial useful when children out of the house between (LPKS). Closing children will make it difficult for social workers to solve child cases. The security and confidentiality of adolescent identity is a form of protection services provided. Abstract

Abstract : Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb with his first name is Mansur Rajab he is a scholar who persistently strives to develop Islamic education in Indragiri Hilir. In order to fulfill his desire to deepen the science of religion he also studied in the holy land of Mecca for 11 years, besides studying he also won the trust to teach at school Darul Ulumu Al-Diniyah for 5 years. In 1938 he arrived in Indragiri downstream and settled in the bay in a sapat, this is the beginning of his journey in advancing Islamic religious education many things he did to realize these ideals among which he built several educational institutions and build some infrastructure so that he known as the pioneer of the founding of madrassas in Indragiri Hilir. The purpose of this research is to know the life of Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb, the role of Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb in the field of Islamic educational institution development, the teaching method used by Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb, the role of Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb in the field of infrastructure development in Keritang Sub-district, the works of Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb in papers and art. The method used is qualitative, this research is field research to obtain data through interview and documentation. The result of this research is that Sheikh Abdurrahman Yaqoeb was born in Bangkar Village of Reteh Sub-district on October 12, 1912 and died on October 6, 1970, during his lifetime he spent his time developing Islamic religious education in Indragiri Hilir Regency by establishing several educational institutions such as madrasa and mosque. Sheikh abdurrahman Ya'qoeb also plays a role in building infrastructure such as roads and markets in Keritang sub-district such as Pasar Kembang and Gergaji Village, besides that he is also a productive scholar who has written many works in the field of religion and he is also rich in art such as creating some songs are Islamic nuances.Keywords: Sheikh Abdurrahman Ya'qoeb, role, Indragiri Hilir

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of price on the purchase decision of furniture products in CV Kunteng Garuda Sakti subdistrict Tampan Pekanbaru. The population in this researc are all consumers who made purchasing decisions during the last 3 years ie 2015, 2016, 2017 with the number of consumers 532 people, and the sample of 84 people with sampling technique using the method of Proportional Random Sampling is a sampling technique performed by taking representative of each unit excist in the population. The data is measured by using The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The result of the descriptive research shows the price variable on the average of dominant consumers stated the price determined by CV Kunteng in accordance with product quality on the strength or durable of each of its products. While the variable purchase decisions on average consumers declare purchasing decisions made on CV Kunteng in because of a sense of need in furniture products in CV Kunteng. Based on these results, the hypothesis that has been done about the influence of price on the purchase decision of furniture products in CV Kunteng Garuda Sakti Tampan Pekanbaru District, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the purchase price of furniture products in CV Kunteng Pekanbaru by 49.1%, while the remaining 50.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on this result is expected CV Kunteng to always always pay attention to the price factor through affordability of the price among the community on every product that consumers want in an effort to improve consumer purchasing decisions.Keywords: Price, Decision, Purchase, Product, Furniture

Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to inventory the types of traditional medicinal plants in the Sub-district Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency on 9-25 March 2018. This research consists of two stages. The first is collecting data of medicinal plant species in the sub-district Peranap by survey method and snowball sampling technique by determining the key respondents (interview and field observation). Data were analyzed by descriptive. The second stage is the design of pocket book biodiversity of traditional medicinal plants from the results of research. The study found 106 plant species from 54 plant families with the largest number of species available in the family Lamiaceae and Zingiberaceae that is 7 species. A total of 74 species are used to treat diseases of the digestive system. Part of medicinal plant which is used is leaf (47,9%), way of processing plant which is widely used that is boiled (42,5%), then how to use medicine which is widely used that is drunk (59, 8%). Of the 106 species of plants found there are 7 types of potential (species of plants that nutritious and not widely known to the public) in Sub-District Peranap. Based on the analysis of the potential of senior high school biology syllabus, there are 8 Basic Competencies and Science of junior high school 7 Basic Competence related to the result of research designed to be a learning supplement in the form of pocket book on the material of biodiversity utilization effort.Keywords: Inventory, Medicinal Plant, Sub-district Peranap, Pocket Book.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is inteended to know what the mistakes made by students in reading vocabulary of Katakana and what are the underlying factors. The research uses quantitative descriptive method. The object of the research is the second grade (2016/2017) Japanese Language Education, Theahers Training and Education Faculty, University of Riau that consist 66 students. Data completion technique by giving a test and questionnaire. The test used ti find out what the mistakes made by students in reading vocabulary of Katakana, based on the data processing tests there are some mistakes such as students are still less master the letter that has similarity, students are still less master the letter that are marked Dakuten and students still lack understanding and dificult to distinguish the letter using small version. Then the questionnaire is to determine the underlying factors of the wind errors made by student. Based on the results of questinnaire data analysis can be concluded that the underlying factors of the wind errors made by students because of leaning strategies, the age of bilingualism and sociolinguistic situation.Keywords: Factors and Error Analysis, Reading, Katakana

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the dominant factors that influence the reading interest of the studying citizens of package C at the reading park at SPNF SKB Jalan Khatib Sutan No. 3 Kelurahan Cinta Raja Kecamatan Sail. The formulation of the problem of this research is where the dominant factor that influences the interest of reading citizens learning package C at the park reading in SPNF SKB Jalan Khatib Sutan No.3 Kelurahan Cinta Raja Kecamatan Sail. The population in this study as many as 38 people. So this study uses a saturated sample so that all the population sampled that is as many as 38 people, and 20 people to sample trials in PKBM Pucuk Rebung Pekanbaru. The type of this research is descriptive with quantitative approach. Instrument data collection is a questionnaire with 40 statements and after the test remaining 35 valid statements to be used as research instruments. Data analysis through quantitative descriptive analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the factors that influence the reading interest of citizens learning package C at the park reading in SPNF SKB Jalan Khatib Sutan No.. 3 Kelurahan Cinta Raja Kecamatan Sail is dominant with internal factor with percentage 43,3%.Keywords: Reading Interest.
